Printing all docs in windows

I'd like to print all generated doc-files under windows (which is 324 files in 32 folders).
I would find a way in linux like "find ./ -name *.html -exec lpr {} \;" but how may I do this with windows 2000?
No - I dont't have this MIF - Framework.

Thanks, I will try it.
I found another tool, htmldoc, and needet some test to find out, that
htmldoc --footer hd1 --size a4 --logoimage res/images/mylogo.jpg -f $1.pdf --webpage `find docs/ -name *.html | sort`will put all those html-files (with images) into a single pdf-File (870 Pages).
It's not very clever, because the order of documents is either unknown, or alphabetic (because of linux:sort). It's just a html-to-doc-tool, which doesn't know of javadoc at all. If you know this tool, and consider this, using javadoc, and ant.
I'm not a fan of printed docs, but if it's automated, it could be nice.

  • Can't print all docs to HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Premium

I just bought the 8600. I can print Word, Excel and PDF documents from my HP HDX 16-1140US notebook just fine. The notebook runs Windows Vista and the network connection is wireless.
I also have a Dell Inspiron 530 desktop that was upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 7 about three months ago. It's connected to the network via Ethernet. The only documents it will print come from Word. When I try to print from Excel or Adobe I get a message that there's no network connection. I used to be able to print everything despite the upgrade to Win7.
I installed the printer on both machines using the HP DVD. Due to problems with our phone lines that our wiring guys need to address, I haven't installed the fax yet on either computer.
Our service provider for phone and Internet is u-Verse. They just installed a Motorola NVG589 modem/router a few days ago to replace a 2Wire that got fried in a power outage. (It's probably not a surprise to you then that our wiring guys need to get involved too...)
I'm slowly remembering to turn the printer on before I send a print job, so I check the power button first when I get a "network disconnected" message. (I'm just not used to the power-saving functions of the 8600 yet; I had a 6500n for nearly five years.)
I hope this is enough background to help you tech-types help me. Thanks a million!

    Hi,
I see that you are having some issues when attempting to print.
Are you able to access the EWS page using the IP address assigned to the printer. http://192.x.x.x. If you are able to access that I assume your network is fine.
Have you tried to reinstall the HP SW. I suggest you reinstall the software. Please ensure to uninstall before reinstalling again. You can also get the latest SW from HP Support site at http://www.hp.com/
While I am an HP employee, I am not a expert on all our products. If I offer advice, I'm not speaking for HP on how to solve an issue, but I'll do my personal best to help you. Was your question answered? Mark it as an Accepted Solution! See a great post? Give it a Kudos!

  • Printing all open Photoshop windows

Subject says it all... I've made contact sheets via the scripts of Photoshop.
Now, I want to print the 15 files it made in one fell swoop.
Is there a way to just "print everything open?"
    Thanks

    Hi Kelly
I don't know about doing it within Photoshop but you can batch print by creating a printer icon on your Desktop.
In Printer Setup Utility, select the printer under Printers, choose Create Desktop Printer. This will allow you to drag multiple items onto it on the desktop and batch print them.

  • Won't print all pages or part pages

I just bought a 4501 Envy all in one. I prints first page good then next page only half the page. Getting very frustrated. Can anyone help me fix this problem.

    Hello @sduet1,
    welcome to the HP forums.
I understand that your new Envy 4501 is not printing full pages.
    I would like to help.
Often problems like this are cause by software. On rare occasions it can be a communications issue.
So that I may better assist you I have a few of questions.
    1. How is your printer connected to your computer?
is it wireless, USB or LAN?
    2. Is your coputer a PC or MAC?
    3. What version is the opperating system on your computer?
    Windos xp? Windows 8? OS X 10.6?
Also I have included a link to a very common version of this issue for Windows 8.

  • HP 7210 all in one printer installation error on windows 8.1 update

We recently got updated by Microsoft from windows 8 to 8.1.  After that time, the scanning function did not work as it did before and the HP menu utility was different. I went through the HP Info service and it said the printer software was not fully functional. I then was told to download the latest hp install software for the 7210, which I did for windows 8/8.1.  The install stops with a fatal MCI error code 1935.  I then went to the troubleshooting guide for error codes (the example box shows almost an identical error message to mine) but it only shows windows XP, Vista, and 7.0.  There is no troubleshooting guide for windows 8 or 8.1 with this code.  I then followed the "HP Solutions for Install Errors (Windows 8.0 and 8.1) and performed all the tasks.  I updated windows to current and same error. I then shut off all startup services and got the same error.  I am now out of idea's or help.
The printer has been great and we have had no problem with it since we've owned it.  At this time we are without a printer completely because the install process removed the previous installed software.
Forgot to mention this is using USB connection, but the install never gets far enough to ask me to connect it, so it really doesn't matter.
Any advice would be extremely welcome.
    Thank you
    Joe

    Hi @DelanoJoe
I see you are getting a fatal MCI error code 1935 and the documentation specific to that code is not for Windows 8 or 8.1.  I will certainly do all I can to help out
    Please complete the following steps and let me know the outcome;
Hold down the Windows Logo key () on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box, type %temp%
Delete all files and folders from the temp folder. Choose skip if any pop ups appear saying any of the files could not be deleted
Download the software and choose to save as, save to desktop > AIO_CDB_Net_Full_Win_WW_140_408-4.exe
After the software downloads and extracts, open the temp folder again, use the instructions from step 1.
Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)
    Open folder Util
    Open folder CCC
If you have an HP computer run the L3uninstall.exe. If you have a non-HP computer run the L4uninstall.exe
When the uninstall has completed restart the computer
Follow these steps to reset the registry settings and options for Windows Installer.
Hold down the Windows Logo key on the keyboard and the 'R' to open the run box
In the Open box, type msiexec /unregister, and then click OK.

  • Photosmart printer -all-in-one 5520 and windows 8.1 - INSTALLATION ERROR

I have a photosmart printer - model: all-in-one 5520; code number HPC57CC4  and my operating system is windows 8.1.
I had problems with the scan function and so I decided to disinstal the printer (from the Control Panel) and I even cancelled  the HP folders.
Then I tried to reinstal the printer with the original CD but I got the message: INSTALLATION ERROR - DRIVER PACKAGE INSTALL GIVES THE ERROR -536870329 FOR THE PACKAGE  C:\Program Files\HP\HP Photosmart 5520 series\DriverStore\Pipeline\hpvpl09.inf   (that's the translation from Italian)
I have tried endless times to install with the online software from the HP assistance (hppsdr.exe, hppiw.exe, ps5520_1315-1.exe, hpscan and doctor) but I always get the above error message, the system recognizes my printer, but gives the error message few seconds after starting installing it.
If i use the printer from other PCs it's ok, I've also tried both in the wireless modality and with the USB cable but the result is the same: no installation!
thanks in advance fot your help.

    nicahermosa42,
There are a few ways to print from your Android phone to your HP printer.
Send an email from your phone to your printer's ePrint address (ex. [email protected]).
Download the HP ePrint Home and Biz app from the Android Market to print photos and documents to your HP printer over your wireless network or through ePrint.
If you need assistance with either method of printing, please post again.

  • Will the 2710 all-in-one printer be supported by windows 7? works on xp, will it on windows7?

Is the 2710 all-in-one printer supported/compatible to Windows 7? It was on a XP, however hard drive is crashing and need to see if I may need to buy another all in one printer or able to keep my 2710.

HP recommends that you use genuine HP cartridges. HP cannot guarantee the quality or reliability of non-HP cartridges, or refilled HP cartridges.
Well that being said about the cartridge, I would try a power reset like this:
With the power on, open the ink access door. Remove the power from the printer. Remove the ink cartridge and close the cover. Wait at least 30 seconds then reconnect the power cord to the printer. Turn the printer on. Open the access door and insert the cartridge. That may clear up the issue, if not well.......

  • Hp 6110 all-in-one always prints in color on Windows 8

I would like to print some color documents in grayscale. But I am finding that no matter what settings I use in the Print dialog panel, my documents always come out in color. I am in Windows 8.1. For example, in Microsoft Word, if you go to File->Print, the Settings list contains options for which pages to print, one-sided or two-sided, collated, etc., but there is nothing for color vs. grayscale. So, if you then click a "Printer Properties" link, you get the detailed 6110 dialog panel with multiple tabs containing the full range of printer options. Within that, if you select the "Color" tab, you can check the "Print in Grayscale" box. Click "OK" to close the detailed printer dialog, which brings you back to the Microsoft Word printer dialog, where you can then click "Print". Document still comes out in color. I have verified a similar behavior when priting color PDF documents - there is no way to make them come out in grayscale.
I suspect the driver is also not respecting my specification to use "Fast Nornal" print quality.
So, a very clever strategy for HP to sell more ink! Can you please provide a fix?
    Thanks

    Hi @UsedToWorkInHPL,
    Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand that your HP Officejet 6110 all-in-one always prints in color on Windows 8. I am happy to look into this for you!
According to your printer's specifications found at this website, Printer Specifications for HP Officejet 6100 Printer Series. This printer is only supported for these Operating Systems: Windows 98, Windows 98 SE, Windows 2000, Windows Me, Microsoft(R), Windows XP.
There is no full feature software and drivers for Windows 8.1 for this printer.
One option to try and get around this, is to assign an alternate driver, please see this post, How to Assign Alternate Print Drivers in Different Versions of Windows, by @Shane_R.
Otherwise, I would recommend to please call our phone support at 800-474-6836 for your upgrade options to a printer that has the software and drivers available for Windows 8.1. If you live outside the US/Canada Region, please click the link below to get the support number for your region. Country-language selector.
Hope this information helps, and have a great day!
