Priority in sales order

Dear all,
I have a question,  i have a retail sales order no.1 and promotion sales order no.2, they have the same material which haven't any stock now.
After good receive in warehouse,  i want to assign the stock to promotion order first, can i make any priority mark in no.2 sales order??

Hi,
Instead of explaining in detail, it will be better if you can check this in the help document provided in the V_V2 selection screen. In the application tool bar, there is a button in blue color marked as 'i".
Click on this and go tho the examples, you should be able to solve this.
Hope this helps. Reward points if useful.

  • How to default Delivery Priority on Sales Order Items from Ship To?

Is there a way to pull the Delivery Priority from the Ship To partner when creating sales order items rather than pulling from the Sold To partner?  I've checked all of my documentation -- including OSS notes; searches on SDN, IT Toolbox, and internet.  This doesn't appear to be configurable.  Can someone confirm that or tell me how to configure?  If not configurable, what is the recommended user exit?
    Thanks!

Thanks for responding - you are the first person to do so.  Unfortunately, I think you missed the point of my question.  We do not want to create and maintain customer materials - the delivery priority is in generally not material dependent.  We simply want to be able to have the Sales order item use the Ship To partner's delivery priority rather than the Sold To partner's delivery priority as the default delivery priority on the sales order items.  Ideas on how to do that?

  • Priority to sales order over reservation

    Hi All,
I have a query. I created a manual reservation for materail Say A to move it from storage loc 1000 to 2000 of 2 Ea. Storage loc 2000 is plaaned separately. We dont have a stock in storage location 1000 now so we cant move stock against reservation by MB26.
After that i created sales order for materail A of 2 Ea and delivery date as today. schedule lines are not confirmed and system gives me the date in future.
Now if I receive a stock of 2 Ea against purchase order for materail A. I try to give this stock to reservation by running MB26 but the good movement fails. System does not give the stock to reservation and the stock is reserved for sales order although it is created later than reservation.
is there any way so that if the reservation is crerated before sales order then system should give stock to reservation.
    Please advice.
    Thanks,

    Hi,
Try feeding both the ODS1 and ODS2 from the same InfoSource / Datasource, instead of feeding ODS2 from ODS1. In that way, the same data will be loaded to both the ODS but in one ODS it will overwrite but in the second ODS it will overwrite if a particular Sales order and item comes for the same period, otherwise it will create a new entry. E.g,
    SO SOItem FiscPer Amount
    100 10 2007/07 100
Assume for the same order and item, amount is changed to 200 during 2007/07, so the record in ODS1 will be overwritten as well as in the ODS2, but if it is changed in 2007/08 then it will be overwritten in ODS1 whereas a new entry will be created in ODS2. This is assuming that you don't want the 2 records with amount as 100 and 200 for 2007/07 in 2nd ODS. Any change in this order and item in 2007/08 will surely come as a new entry.
2nd way is assuming that fiscal period is also the part of first ODS..If it is then just feeding from ODS 1 to ODS 2 should take care of the above things as well.
    Hope this helps..

  • Sales Order Delivery Priority is not CIFed from ECC to APO

I Have CIFed all master and transactional data like characteristics, products, Resources, PDS, Sales Orders, Stocks, Production and Planned Orders without any issue appart from the following: Delivery Priority of Sales Order:
for all the Sales orders that I have assigned PRJ (project sales orders) I have assigned delivery priority 1.
however after CIFing of sales orders although quantities are correct I do not see order priority in Sales Order in APO:
this is the second test system I have and when I CIFed S.O. in the previous test every worked as expected.
Do you have any idea why this happens?

    Hello Babu,
    it is a version 7
there were actually some CIF related BADI's that I had activated for test reasons and I deactivated them although they did not seem to do anything. there were not any user exit activated.
I CIFed using CFM2 & RIMODINI and the results were the same. moreover there was nothing in inbound and outbound queues.
    Thanks,

  • How to change Sales Order Delivery Priority rules/parameters.

In the picture below I am in the Sales Order work Center>New Sales Order. My question pertains to the Delivery Priority selections. I have been looking to find a place to set or change the parameters/rules of these selections but all that I have been able to find within SAP Help Center is a brief description of what each priority means. I have not been able to find an option to change the rules of the delivery priorities. I have looked through the help center using multiple definitions and have used different work centers and overviews to find a lead and definitions but have not come across many leads. What we would like to do is have the delivery priority Urgent to have certain effects like releasing an order automatically if that priority is selected in the New sales order delivery priority.
Please share any info or leads you may have in finding parameters and/or the ability to change the rules of the options Immediate, Urgent, Normal and Low.

    Dear Hohn,
If you choose Immediate for the Delivery Priority, the sales order is treated as a rush order and is released to the execution department automatically.
That is, this order is set to Released automatically in the Customer Demand view of the Outbound Logistics Control work center and immediately appears in the Delivery Control view of the Outbound Logistics work center.
Rest Urgent, Normal and Low is only for reporting purpose.

  • How to List Sales Orders based on Creation Date and Delivery Priority

    Dear all,
How can we list Sales Orders based on creation date and delivery priority.
I tried using vl10a transaction code, but there we can see sales order based on delivery date.
we need to list all sales order based on delivery priority and sales order creation date.
can any one of you tell me which standard report gives such kind of report. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Raghu Ram

    Hi Raghu,
There is no st report available as per your req.
Using SQVI, you develope one report that is list of sales orders based on your req.
SQVI is used to convert a Quick View into a query.
    Quick Viewer:
The Quick Viewer allows you to define reports without having to program yourself. The Quick
Viewer is especially useful for new users and occasional use.
Quick Viewer is a tool for generating reports. SAP Query offers the user a whole range of options for defining reports. SAP Query also supports different kinds of reports such as basic lists, statistics, and ranked lists. Quick Viewer, on the other hand, is a tool that allows even relatively inexperienced users to create basic lists.
Quick View definitions are user-dependent. You can transfer a Quick View into SAP Query in order to make reports, for example, accessible to additional users, or to use the other functions available in SAP Query.
The following is a comparison of Quick Views and queries:
Quick Views possess the same functional attributes as queries. However, only basic lists may be defined with Quick Views.
In contrast to queries, no user group assignment is necessary with Quick Views. Each user has his/her own personal list of Quick Views. Quick Views cannot be exchanged between users. Quick Views may, however, be converted to queries and then be made available to other users in a specific user group.
Info Sets are not required for Quick View definition. Whenever you define a Quick View, you can specify its data source explicitly. Tables, database views, table joins, logical databases, and even Info Sets, can all serve as data sources for a Quick View. You can only use additional tables and additional fields if you use an Info Set as a data source.
The Quick Viewer uses various controls. Certain hardware and software requirements must also be fulfilled before you can use the Quick Viewer.
To define a Quick View, you select certain fields according to your data source that determine the structure of your report. The report can be executed in basis mode with standard layout or may be edited using drag and drop and the other toolbox functions available in WYSIWYG mode.
Reports created using the Quick Viewer may also be passed to external programs (Excel, for example).
Call the Quick Viewer using System -> Services -> Quick Viewer (or transaction SQVI).
Enter the name of the Quick View. Quick View names can contain a maximum of 14 characters.
    Choose Create.
Enter a title for the Quick View and remarks, if you think they are relevant.
If you do not want to base your list on a table, use the possible entries pushbutton in the Data source field to select another data source. You can choose logical databases or Info Sets. In addition, you may also create table joins. For further information, see Selecting a Data Source.
Choose Basis mode if you want to create the list directly with no list design. Choose Layout mode if you want to define the layout of your list yourself.
SQVI Table Quick viewer – Used to created quick client dependent reports
Probably the easiest and most flexible way to do this is thru one of the ABAP query transactions.
Transaction SQVI can do this and it has a very good help function that explains how it works... the drawback is that it is only for one user.
You can play around with it and see if it meets your needs...
The query results will come back in an ALV Grid or Excel... you can select what fields are returned, and have a selection screen to enter the search criteria.
You can get the report by joining the tables VBAK and VBAP.
If you have any queries, i will forward screen shots to your id.
    Reward points pls.
    Regards,
    Govind.

  • Rescheduling Sales Order vs Production Order (Components)

    Hi gurus,
Transaction V_RA rescheduling sales order with different filters.
We need a transaction similar to V_RA that rescheduling sales order and production order (for availability check of components). Does it exist??
I will reward points to all answers!
    Thank you!

    Daniel,
It all depends on the business policy of each client. In our case, it was decided that in case Production orders and Sales orders compete for the same material, we will give priority to sales orders. Hence, we changed the timings of the nightly jobs. The backorder job was run first, so that stock was committed there first. Balance if any could go to Prod orders.
But again, that depends on the strategy of your company.

  • Can we maintain sales order priority in PP/DS?

    Hi All
We are working for Cable manufacturing firm and wish to plan as per sales order priority in PP/DS. Presently we are using customized length based planning heuristics (which is customised form of SAP_PP_002) for creating planned orders.
We understand that the heuristics will plan as per requirement date of sales orders. But can we introduce sales priority. If we need to go for enhancement, please let us know the functional module which we need to use in the customized length based heuristics.
Our finished product is configurable material with make-to-order (strategy group u2013 26) and semi-finished product strategy is planning with final assembly (strategy group u2013 40). Accordingly, check modes are 047 and 050 respectively.
    Regards,
    S.Manjunath

    Hi Frank,
Please find that we have the priorties already listed in SO visible in APO. Now we need to plan the planned orders generated from the SO as per the priorities listed in the SO
    Eg: we have
    SO1 Priority-1.----> Pld Ord 123
    SO2 Priority-1.----> Pld Ord 456
    SO3 Priority-2.----> Pld Ord 789
    SO4 Priority-3.----> Pld Ord 011
Here we need to consider only SO1, SO2 and SO3 for planning since we want to set planning for priorites for 1 & 2 alone.
Presently our planning is happening as per the requirement dates mentioned in the SO alone.

  • Change sales order delivery priority in CIF

Block the transfer of sales order line delivery priorities values (ECC/R3 field LPRIO) transferred from ECC thru the CIF.
Hard code and assign a value of 1 to the APO delivery priority field (APO field LIFPRIO) upon transfer of sales order line items.
To change prirority I used user exit APOCF010 but it didn't work properly so can anyone let me know which user exit or badi will help me to change the priority.

    Raghav
When you say APOCF010 is not working correctly, what is the exact problem you are facing ? In which table are you looking ? Have you tried CIF'ing a new sales orders from ECC to APO ?
Also try adding LPRIO to the field catalog (SPRO --> Advanced Planning and Optimization --> Global
Available-to-Promise --> Rules-Based Availability Check --> Define Condition Table (Maintain Field Catalog).

  • Production priority sales order

    Hi folks,
i want to use the priority field in the production order header screen.
when i read the help text. i saw that the information can be passed from the sales order for an assembly order.
    so
where shoul i enter a value for this priority field in the sales order,
my order type is PP04 so its an assembly order,
so my question is where should i enter a particular value for the priority field in the sales order
so that it gets passed down to production order,

    Hi,
You can maintain in the sales order item level sales B tab SPEC2000 ( ver 4.6c) in order priorty field.
Customization entry is maintained in the below path :
Spro ->Logistics - General->AMOSS Interface for ATA SPEC 2000/AECMA SPEC 2000M-->Maintain Order Priorities and Texts.

  • Changing  Sold-to/Ship-to of a sales order  causing delivery priority 0.

    Hi Epts,
While Changing the sales order (VA02)'s sold-to /ship-to party then delivery priority changing from 6 to 0.(Delivery priority changes to initail value).
Analyzed the standard program SAPMV45A and found the subroutine (FV45PFAP_VBAP_FUELLEN_KUAGV) in which the delivery priority is getting changed. But i am unable to find the user exit which will causing  the problem.
    Regards,
    Beeru.

If u r wishing to change the sold to party for a particular item it means u r not selling that item to him. U cant have 2 different sold to parties  in a single sales order.. U can change other partner functions at sales order level but not sold to party partner function....
U can assign reason for rejection to close this particular order and raise a fresh order in favor of the sold to party u wish to for that particular item...

  • Creation of A/R Down Payment Invoice  based on Sales Order not logical

When creating a A/R Down Payment Invoice based on a Sales Order you
have the option to create multible ones. Which by itself could be
usefull to create one of 50 % for a certain day and decide they need to
pay another 25 % at a later date.
But SBO does not track what already have been posted. Therefore you can
create a sum more then a 100% without warning or blockage.
    Tested this in SBO 2007 A SP:00 PL:00
    Scenario:
    Sales - AR>Sales Order
Create and post a Sales Order
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 40%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 100%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Sales - AR>A/R Down Payment Invoice
    Create an A/R Down Payment
Select the BP and copy the Sales Order
    Set DPM to 70%
    Post the A/R Down Payment
Making the total for the Sales Order 210% worth of Down Payment
Invoices without warning/blocking. I would expected that you would only
be able to set the rest sum %. For instance first scenario I entered
60% therefore setting the second Down Payment Invoice to a max of 40%
Untill you have used up the 100% and you cannot select the Sales Order
    in question..
If multible users do the same work, SBO doesn't show that it has
already been done. Same if you forgot you already created it you can
still create one. Plus sometimes it will happenyou create the Down
Payment Invoice and not paying attention you create the first one with
a 100% and later with the intended percentage..

    Hello Petronella,
you are right that B1 is not checking the total value of DP created from the Sales Order.
The logic and checking procedure here is only between Sales Order -> Delivery/Invoice.
DP Invoice is considered as transaction related to document the receipt of the money (parallel to the sales process). Between the moment of basing of DP to Sales Order it is still possibility to adjust Sales Order as there is no posting behind Sales Order.
The question is what would be a checking  procedure in case that on Sales Order there is based Delivery and DP? What would be the system priority to take into a consideration?

  • Changing the Confirmed Quantity in Sales Order

    Hi Gurus,
I have a requirement to change the confirmed quantity of the line item of the sales order. Is there any FM or BAPI that I can use? And how?
    Thanks,
    Andre

    Hello,
I am having to deal with a similar issue.
The allocated quantity needs to be reset, so that the quantities can be allocated again according to the checking rule for product allocation.
This is probably not clear anymore, I am also totally confused now, so I'll add an example.
    Example:
SCENARIO 1: Rejected item quantity not available to earlier order:
Assume product ABC is on a monthly allocation plan at a channel level
    Available units = 100 units
    Allocation plan = 50 units for Channel1, 50 units for Channel2
Assume all orders in this scenario are for one channel
    1.     Order 1 is entered
Qty of 40     confirmed from ATP check, confirmed from allocation check
RESULT: allocation of 40 units is consumed, available allocation = 10 units
    2.     Order 2 is entered
Qty of 20     confirmed from ATP check, confirmed for 10 units from allocation check
    Remaining 10 units unconfirmed
RESULT: allocation of 10 is consumed, available Allocation = 0 units
Unconfirmed order quantity = 10 units
    3.     Order 1is rejected
line item for Qty 40 is rejected
RESULT: available allocation = 40 units
    4.     Order 3 is entered
Qty of 40     confirmed from ATP check, confirmed from allocation check
    Allocation of 40 is consumed
RESULT: allocation of 40 is consumed, available allocation = 0
    5.     Rescheduling is run for this product (order creation date determines priority in the queue)
    EXPECTED RESULT:
Order 2 has highest priority and would be committed for 20 units, leaving 30 units for Order 3
Order 3 Commit quantity 30, unconfirmed quantity 10
Order 1 Line item was rejected, (no committed quantity)
    RESULT:
    Order 2 - Commit quantity 10, unconfirmed = 10 (as available allocation 0)
    Order 3 - Commit quantity 40
Order 1 - Line item was rejected
So I need to reset the allocated quantities first...
Were you able to find a solution for this?

  • Sales Order Unable to Use New Condition Tables for Tax Condition Type

    Dear All,
I am currently working on SAP R/3 4.0. I have a new requirement for my tax where I need to create new condition tables other than the 4 standard SAP tables which are Customer/Material, Division/Customer, Departure Country/Destination Country, Domestic Taxes and Export Taxes. My new tables consists of Departure Country/Destination Country/Shipping Point/Tax Code. The requirement is that the tax code is based on the chosen destination country and shipping point. The problem I am facing now is that no matter what types of table I create or even I generate with reference to the standard table, the access sequence will only refer to the 4 standard SAP tables above. Even if I put my own table in the highest priority for the access sequence, the same thing happens. My sales order will only pick up date from the standard table.
I wonder if anyone encountered the same problem as me.
    Kindly advise.
    Thank you.
    Regards,
    Yvonne

    Hi
    Yvonne
I suggest fist check a simple thing ,whether u have successfully determined shipping point for each line item ,it is possible that just adding a line item will not trigger shipping point determination . So after u update the shipping point on line level u can rerun pricing and check agian if u r getting it .
Secondly for tax purposes I suggest   Try to have Customer and material tax classification approach  this allows to u have long term flexibiliy and also reduces your maintenance activity . As if u change or add number of shipping points and business changes using the sequence of shipping point ,the logic of just using shipping point will not work.
In Tax classification u cna add new condition table for each new tax category and use it in different access sequences.
This information can be passed on to FI using Different Tax code for Different combination.
    I hope this helps
