Problem creation of accounting document impossible

Dear Gurus,
I created a new Material Type in reference to "DIEN" Material Type.
I have created a Sales Order -> Delivery -> Invoice flow (yes the delivery isn't useful but needed for some flat file sending...).
After the creation of the Invoice, the Accounting document won't create itself.
I get the message : KE 348 described here below
Of course, no CCR exists but it's quite normal since we are on a Service Flow.
I check my customizing of the CO module, affectation of the Valorisation to Material Type and all is fine too.
Any ideas anyone please??
Thx in advance for your kind help
Xanticles
No valuation segment exists in the material master record for product 551
Message no. KE 348
Diagnosis
In Profitability Analysis (CO-PA), the system tried to valuate a line
item by looking for a product cost estimate for product "551" using the
    plan period indicator.
To do this, the system has to read the valuation segment ("MBEW") of the
material master. This segment does not exist in valuation area NISL.
Display material, View: Costing
The system tried to read the product cost estimate according to costing
costing key Z01 as defined in the CO-PA Customizing settings.

Your PA is configured to insist (error msg) on a cost estimate. You either need to create a cost estimate for the service you are providing, or configure PA such that it will not generate an error when it doesn't find a cost estimate.

    Hi Experts,
I am creating accounting document using BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_CHECK  Bapi F.M.  Profit segment number  is mandatory ( T.code KEDR)  for G/L account 411103 .when i am using this G/L account for creation of accounting document, occurs below error message.
1.Field  Prof. Segmt  is required field  for G/L account 0495 411103
    2. Account 411103 requires an  assignment  to a CO Object.
Please let me know how i can resolve this problem using with BAPI.
    Thanks
    Jaya Reddy

The BAPI you have mentioned is used to check whether a posting to accounting is possible.  You can use the Bapi "BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST" for posting accounting documents.  Depending on the GL account configuration you have to pass PROFIT CENTER / COST CENTER to the BAPI.

  • Configure the automatic creation of accounting document while billing

    Hi,
Could you telme where to find the customization where you configure such that
triggering of automatic creation of accounting document takes place during billing itself.
    Regards
    anil.

    Hi Anil,
In VOFA Document type in General contrlo is related to Accounting Document. If it is blank the system Automatically pics RV as accounting Document.
If posting Block is Ticked then Automatic posting will not happens.

  • Creation of accounting document

    Hi guys,
I have a problem in my FI document.
The Business Area that is posted in my accounting document after billing is 10.
But when i check in table T134G. There is no 10 value for Business Area based on the plant that I used.
    Questions:
When does an accounting document created?
Also, do you have an idea at where the billing derive the business area?
    Thanks.
    Navi

    Hi Navi ,
BA will have 4 CHAR length( as per standard SAP config ) & its not mandatory field ,u should info us which a/c'ing line item u are ref'ing in ur a/c document , Is it material's line item or what ? , based on the type of line items SAP will assign rel.Business area.
check FI and G/L entry as well , then u will come to actual entry in ur G/L books.

  • Invoice cancellation leading to creation of accounting document with partial items

    Hi All,
I faced an issue wherein there is an invoice created for items delivered (tangible goods as per the delivery document ) and services rendered ( intangible items).
After doing an RTA for the invoice , when I cancel this invoice , the cancelled invoice document is created. But , the accounting document created wrt the cancelled document has only the items for the delivered items and not the services rendered. Why is this discrepancy in the accounting document when the complete billing document (having both delivered items and services ) is cancelled ?
    Regards
    Samarth Gupta

    Hi,
The original accounting document did have all the items as in the billing document. Even the cancellation invoice document created after cancelling the billing document also had all the line items. Surprisingly, the accounting document created wrt the cancelled invoice document did have only the delivery items(tangible goods) and not the services rendered.
    Please revert with more inputs.

  • Enhancement for MB1C/MB1A before creation of an Accounting Document

    Hello everyone,
Actually I want to get the material document number(MBLNR) before the creation of an accounting document when using the transaction MB1C or MB1A.
I will have to use the value 'MBLNR' to update a field during the creation of an accounting document(the field SGTXT should be updated with the MBLNR).
I have already tested the following BADI's which provide me the value of the material document number:
    - MB_DOCUMENT_BADI  (BAdIs During Creation of a Material Document)
    - MB_DOCUMENT_BADI_SAP (BADI for Creation and Changing of a Material Document)
and I am using the BaDi 'AC_DOCUMENT' to update the required field with the material document number(MBLNR).
The problem is that the BADI's 'MB_DOCUMENT_BADI ' and 'MB_DOCUMENT_BADI SAP' are call after the creation of the accouting document(after the BADI 'ACDOCUMENT') meaning that I can't used these BADI's as the value MBLNR is not available before.
My idea was to export the value to memory ID before the creation of accounting document and import the value in memory ID in the BADI's 'AC_DOCUMENT' to update the field SGTXT.
I am currently looking for other enhancements or BADI's which can help me to solve this issue.
After much research on the internet, I did not succeed in finding a suitable hint which can help me.
I would be grateful if someone could guide me(even a small hint will help me a lot as am I am new in the world of BADI's) on how to find a suitable way to get the document number(MBLNR) before the creation of an accounting document(before calling the BADI 'AC_DOCUMENT').
Thanks a lot in advance for you help.
    Kind Regards,
    Bryan

    Hi
I had a look through the program and found an enhancement spot ES_SAPMM07M available through out. Sadly i am not able to create a material document in my system some master data issue but there are various enhancement points in this enahcmenet and you need to debug on save and find the right enhancement point to export the value.
Put a break point in the following includes which have only one subroutine in them
    MM07MFF9_F_SEGMENTE_BEWERTEN
MM07MFF9_F_SEGMENTE_ERSTELLEN---> In this accounting item are created. If stops here and in debugger change the value if it works then there are various enhancement spot for the same.
    MM07MFF9_F_SEGMENTE_ERZEUGEN
    MM07MFF9_F_SEGMENTE_GENERIEREN
    Hope it helps

  • Billing Document error while releasing accounting document VF02

Sir, i have an issue regarding billing.
We created a sale order having base price , Central sales tax and CST surcharge.
    base amount 408,791.21
    JIN1 :Central sales tax 51,098.90
    JIN4:CST surcharge 5,109.89
           total 465,000.00
then delivery (vl01n) is also done. it is showing base amount.
when created billing vf01, it is showing base amount ,Central sales tax and CST surcharge.
    it is showing 408,791.21 .
    Central sales tax 51,098.90
    CST surcharge 5,109.89
Problem : While releasing accounting document in vf02,  system  does not show Central sales tax and CST surcharge only shows base price.
Actually we have 2 company code 1000 and 2000 but in  1000 cc system calculates CSt and CST surcharge correctly but in 2000 CC , system does not calculate system calculates CSt and CST . while releasing accounting document in vf02.
    what did we wrong ?
    Thanks

Problem : While releasing accounting document in vf02, system does
not show Central sales tax and CST surcharge only shows base price.
got ans.customer amd material was not created correctly
It seems there is some contradiction to your first statement above.  Unless you create a material and customer correctly, how come you could generate billing document ??  Either you have not explained the issue properly or not closed the thread with correct solution.
    thanks

  • Additional Items via Enhancement on MB1A / MB1B / MB1C - Update of Accounting Documents

    Hello all!
Please, I'm in need of help from community.
I am working on a Project For México. It's a doubt that has arisen from a functional request.
They want that we create a development that might check the materials inserted on MB1A / MB1B and MB1C transaction.
If these materials meet with the functional requirements, then new materials must be inserted at this same document, correcting it.
We already have searched for User-Exits, BADIs and Enhancement-Points, and our position at the moment is that we already achieved to input the material into the material document, but those new lines aren't been recognized on subsequent Accounting Documents, that are created after the material document and that can be viewed on MB03 transaction, into the material document.
Anyone has any clue if it's possible to modify Material Documents through Enhancements/BADIs/Exits, adding new lines of materials (XMSEG), and grant the subsequent creation of accounting documents?
    Thanks in advance!
Some Points that we already tried, but without success:
    EXITs : MB_CF001,  MBCF0002 and  MBCF0005
    BADIS: MB_MIGO_ITEM_BADI, MB_MIGO_BADI, MB_CHECK_LINE_BADI, MB_DOCUMENT_BADI_SAP, MB_DOCUMENT_BADI
Enhancements in following programs: MM07MFJ1 and MM07MFB9_BUCHEN_NUMMERNVERGABE

    Hello Srilakshmi,
Thank you for the response, but unfortunately the BADIs you've mentioned don't allow me to modify Material Data tables, such as MSEG and VM07M.
MB_DOC_BADI_INTERNAL is only for SAP use, and MB_DOCUMENT_UPDATE parameters are Importing only.
    Regards.

  • Proforma invoice (F5) creates accounting document

We have an issue with Proforma invoices creating accounting documents. I did some research here and it seems that it is an unexpected behavior for a proforma invoice, but I couldn't find any information about what exactly is preventing them from creating accounting documents.
Could anyone point me in the right direction where this might be configured? Unfortunately, I'm mostly an ABAPer and am not that familiar with SD config. I did find the transaction VOFA though and checked the settings for F5 there. It seems odd that 'Posting block' checkbox is unchecked. Is it supposed to be checked or are there any other fields that would influence the creation for accounting documents?
    Thank you.

I checked the fileds, as suggested. F5 has the following settings:
    SD document category = 'U'
    Transaction group = 8
all the fields in Cancellation and Account Assignment are blank
some fields are set up in Output parameters (I don't think they have anything to do with this)
both Posting Block and Statistics are currently not checked
It seems that Statistics checkbox only influences the creation of statistical records (i.e. population of LIS/SIS structures).
What is interesting though is that Document Type field is blank for F5 and for other invoice types (e.g. F2 or FV, which we are also using)...
Is there another area in SPRO where the connection between SD and FI could be configured? I've also looked at the Copying Requirements, but there is nothing for Billing to Accounting...

  • One invoice - two accounting document

    Hi to all,
can someone help me with this issue ?
I have to make this case:
creation of SD invoice - creation of accounting document - creation of another accounting document which derives from previous one.
First two steps are standard process, but for the third step we should use some user exit, but I don't know which one.
Did someone use something like this ?
    thanks in advance,
    Dubravka

    Hi,
As per my knowledge, all this is standard scenario only.No user exit is required for this.
First we will create an invoice after that accounting document will be generated which is a standard process.
After this by posting this one by using FB01 T.Code will create one more accounting document which is derived from the previous one only.
So we can use FB01T.Code  to create one more accounting document which is derived from the previous one.
    Regards,
    Krishna.

  • Baseline date in Accounting document changed after creation of Invoice List

    Hi all,
    1) User Requirement:-
Creation of Invoice document(using VF01), Transfer u201CGoods Issue Dateu201D to FI accounting as a Baseline date instead of Invoice creation date.
To meet the above requirement I did enhancement name: SDVFX008 user exit: EXIT_SAPLV60B_008.
Its working fine and transfered goods issue date to Accounting(as baseline date) insted of  invoice date.
    2) Problem:-
After Creation of Invoice List (VF21) system again overwriting baseline date iwith invoice list date.
Does anyone know how to Stop overwriting baseline date in accounting while creation of invoice list.
    Thanks & Regards

    Hi Valerie,
do you recall the User Exit?
    Thanks

  • How identify closed accounting period to restrict creation of billing document in sap

    Hi Experts,
I have a requirement to identify the  closed  periods in sap based on this we need to restrict the creation of billing document .
Actually we are working for  Brazil  client, there we have notafiscal   which created along with billing document.we are maintaining  periods monthly basis.
When the periods are closed  accounting document not created and billing document is created  this is working fine . • Accounting Document Creation in FB60 with Tax Calculation Enable

    Hello everyone,
I am currently facing a strange issue. The issue is that I am using transaction FB60 to create an accounting document.
    How I proceed with:
        1. Go to FB60
        2. Enter the necessary details
        3. Click on the "Save" button to post the document.
To view the accounting document created,
        1. Go to FB03
        2. Enter the document number generated previously to view the document.
The problem is that, currently I need to update a field in the accounting document during its creation. I know that the BaDi 'AC_DOCUMENT' is called before creation of any accounting document.
I have hardcoded a break point in the BADI to test whether when clicking on the button 'SAVE' from transaction FB60, whether the BADI 'AC_DOCUMENT'is called, and the debugger was not trigger.
I don't understand why the BADI 'AC_DOCUMENT'is not trigger, i did activate the 'Update debugger' to test whether the BADI was executed in the background but in vain, the BADI 'AC_DOCUMENT' was not triggered.
But if I click on 'PARK'(I don't  know a park document is  document in transaction FB60, the BADI 'AC_DOCUMENT' is trigger.
I would be grateful if someone gives me an idea or a small explanation on what is going on in the back.
Maybe, I am wrong with the BADI 'AC_DOCUMENT', maybe this BADI's is not trigger every time an accounting document is created.
    Thanks a lot in advance.
    Kind Regards,
    Bryan

what field do you want to update? did you try FI substitution?

  • Manual creation of idoc for a Accounting document FIDCC1

    Hi,
Some of the config for the change pointer was not moved to production and some accounting documents have been created which have not triggered the IDOC.
Is there a way to create the idoc for the accounting documents already created.
    Regards,
    Puneet.

Once you have all your change pointers setup correctly (view bd52) then you should be good to go BUT to answer your question about the existing documents .. you would need to somehow "touch" those documents to trigger the creation of the IDOCs. You can modify something on then that also is attached to the change pointer say a date? 1/11/11 change to 1/12/11 but don't save that value .. change back to 1/11/11 then save.
Just my thoughts .. let me know how it goes.
