Problem in activating the ABAP proxies

Hi Experts,
I was following the url below, on how to activate ABAP proxies, How do you activate ABAP Proxies?
and I came across certain issues.
I hav made the HTTP connection in R/3 as per the blog and as well as the TCP/IP conections in R/3 keeping in mind the program ID from XI dev server -> sm59 -> LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI_XID, and in both the TCP/IP connections that I made in R/3 I have applied the Gate way host and Gate way service of the XI development server.
Then I tried the connection testing in R/3 TCP/IP connections - LCRSAPRFC and SAPSLDAPI, and both worked successfully.
Now when I went to SPROXY, of R/3 in order to see my components and nane spaces, [that I have made in the XI dev server[ , to craete my PROXY, I could ONLY find the
SAP ABA
SAP APPL
SAP BASIS
SAP HR.
There are some more standard components and custom software components, in XI DEV server that I cant see.
I hav developed several mname spaces in the XI dev server, that I expected to get reflected in the R/3.
Where am I going wrong? What is the mistake I am doing??

Problem in creation of ABAP proxies

Hi,
I am trying to create proxies of Message Interfaces that are built from External Definitions(XSDs). In the scenario, we use two XSDs, one for structure of BAPI and one as Document Envelope containing header level information of the document. Message Interface is created for Document Envelope and internally it references XSD of structure of BAPI.
For e.g. For request message of BAPI_COMPANY_GETDETAIL, we have two XSDs:
1. BAPI_COMPANY_GETDETAIL
2. BAPI_COMPANY_GETDETAIL_Document_Envelope
I create interface for document envelope; interface internally references XSD BAPI_COMPANY_GETDETAIL.
When I try to create proxy for such an Interface I get following error:
Cannot generate proxy (object <element name="BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST"> missing in WSDL, see long text)
Message no. SPRX084
and diagnosis provided in long text is as follows:
Diagnosis
In the WSDL document, the object
 "<element name="Documents"> <complex/simpleType ..."
from the namespace
"http://mindef.nl/schemas/DocumentEnvelope"
links to the object
 "<element name="BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST">"
from the namespace
 "urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions"
However, this last object does not exist in the WSDL document.
System Response
ABAP proxy generation expects that all directly and indirectly referenced objects are in the WSDL document. Therefore, no proxy can be generated for this WSDL and the system displays an error message.
Procedure
This situation can have different causes:
Object "<element name="BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST">" not been defined
Object "<element name="BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST">" saved in the wrong namespace
In the reference to object "<element name="BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST">", the wrong name was specified
In the reference to object "<element name="BAPI_ACC_DOCUMENT_POST">", the wrong namespace "urn:sap-com:document:sap:rfc:functions" was specified
Internal error in the service that constructs the WSDL document
Internal error in ABAP proxy generation
I have checked all the possibilities, there is no inconsistency in WSDL.
Kindly provide some suggestions to tackle this problem.

Hi Bhatia,
You cannot create ABAP proxies from external definitions, IDOC or BAPI, when your application system is based on 6.20.
This works only, when your application system is based on 6.40 or higher.

BI7.0 Hexdecimal values problem while activating the data in DSO

                 I've got the data upto PSA and i've run DTP also from PSA to DSO, but while activating the data in DSO from New Data Table to Active Data Table, it's giving the error given below:
Error when assigning SID: Action VAL_SID_CONVERT table
0DOC_HD_TXT
Value '1st disb' (hex. '00310073007400200064006900730062') of          characteristic 0DOC_HD_TXT contains invalid characters
Process 000037 returned with errors.
            it isn't accepting the values like with numberels and chars together
ex: 1st disb, 70 cr Gen Hsg.
               I want the same to be in the report, how these are to be allowed?, i don't want to edit in PSA and there are a lot of values like that i can't edit all those, since there are thousands of records.

                   Thanx for your quick replay, i've allowed ',' in RSKC and i've checked the check box LOWER CASE LETTERS for IO 0DOC_HD_TXT, the problem was almost solved out. What does ',' mean by?
                      Why lower case letter has to be checked only for this IO (0DOC_HD_TXT), not for others? if it is checked, it allows only lower cases, doesn't allow upper cases i think. won't there be any problem? if it is done like that?
        pls tell me the reason, i'm really thankfull for your quick replay

Problem after activating the ECC 6.0 DIMP

I am getting the serious problem after doing the activation of this ECC 6.0 DIMP by installing some package.
What the problem is that the tables which are having the table class W are giving the problems.
Suppose whenever you are reterving data from this type of tables it is taking so much of time and finally a runtime error is coming showing TIME OUT.
Might be after installing that package we have to regenerate the tables. and how to do that i don;t know.
So all the tables which are having the table class W ,E and S are giving the problems.
For eg table DD02l this is the table for table fields and when i am making some changes in this table by using access key and after that if i have to make activate
it , it is going for short dump and similar cases are there for the tables of the condition type.
Please give me your helpful answers to solve this issue.

while activating the data in the ODS , I am getting the following errors.
"System error ocurred(RFC Call)"
Activation of data records from ODS object XXX terminated
"Task 0031 for parallel SID assigment terminated with errors"

Do u have any red requests in ur ODS Manage. This error is caused when u have red requests and still u r trying to activate the data in the ODS.
Or Probably u have check the check box for bex reporting in setings of ods, Uncheck it and ur error will go.

Problem in activating the data source using a web service

Hi all,
I have created a web service with Logical and Source System names and i have selected nothing in the Type and Release.
Activated the created web service.
Later i tried creating a data source based on this web service source system and tried activating the data sources.
But it is throwing an error saying that error generating the Web Service /BIC/CQWEB_SER_000020000 and error while activating the data source.
Can any one say why is this happening and is there any pre requisites to be done while creating the web service?
what is the use of Type and Release while creating the webservice?

Please consider reference tables also while creating view, otherwise it won't accept when there are amount and currency fields.

Ran into a problem by activating the SharePoint Server Publishing feature

By activating the "SharePoint Server Publishing feature" at site level the complete look and feel of the site has been changed to a default page layout , all the customization's were removed.
Changes were not rolled back even after deactivating the feature.
any help on how to get back my look and feel is appreciated.

RFC problem while activating the new ODS...

Problem while activating the DSO

Hi-
I have some invalid characters in the reference document number which is causing not to activate the DSO. I found the document numbers which is causing the problem. They are not more than 2, so I thought to put a filter in the DTP. It is not allowing me to exclude the document numbers in DTP. It is only allowing me to keep the single values.
Please let me know how to exclude the affected document numbers so that my DSO gets activated.
This is a production issue and please get back to me with ur suggestions.

In DTP screen at filter>mutlipule selection>exclude single values-->multiple selction..you can check the seleted the values to which you want to exclude them into filter.

Problem with activating the playbook in first use

Hello everybody
I have very serious problem with my playbook and I hope you can guide me.
I live in Iran and I've recently bought a new blackberry playbook.
Actually I chose playbook after spending too much time on comparison between different kinds of tablets,but unfortunaely it spoiled all of my researchs because I didn't know about the annoying problem of initial setting.
I can't use my tablet because when I try to updat it,gives a message saying: "could not activate this tablet(3001)
please try changing your settings". while there isn't any problem with my Wi-fi or Internet settings.
After a lot of checking and searching about the problem,I understood it is due of some ip prohibitions problem.
Apperantly,Blackberry servers have bloked IP Addresses originated from Iran,so there is such a annoying problem.
I've been advised to try to configure my tablet in a different way so that it will be recognized from another country and will obtain the updates,but I don't know how I exactly can apply adequate settings.
I hope you can guide me to solve my problem.

Actually I couldn't solve the problem with my own. I tried all the solutions with free proxy servers and even I made a proxy server on my pc ,but none of them worked!
At last I returned the tablet to the compony which I purchased it from and the technical support guys solved the problem.Unfortunately they didn't tell me what exactly did,I just know it hadn't been very easy.
I suggust you do the same thing and use the technical support services of the vendor,because they have much more
experience with such problems and can use some additional advantages of being in contact with Blackberry company
technicians.
I hope you can use your playbook soon as I do.

Problem in Activating the Program in Unicode Systems

I am working in the Upgradation project.In our Project we are moving the objects from SAP 4.6c to ECC6.0 version.I have copied one program from SAP 4.6c to ECC6.0.When i am checking it gives the following error
PERFORM accepted TABLES i_coss USING zcoss quantity hour.
"I_COSS" cannot be converted to the line incompatible. The line type must have the same structure layout as "I_COSS" regardless of the length of a Unicode . Unicode character. Unicode character.

in the form routine you have to declare the same structure as table i_cross is using.
for example:
types: begin of s_coss,
            field1 type c,
            field2 type c,
           end of s_coss.
data: i_coss type standard table of s_coss.
perform accepted TABLES i_coss USING zcoss quantity hour.
form accepted tables t_coss structure s_coss
                      using p_coss type ...
                               p_quan type....
                               p_hour type ....

Problem in activating the tables

Hi group,
I have a question while activating some standard data elements. Actually, I have got some tables when I implemented an OSS Notes in my system.
I did some changes to the data elements but, the thing is that, when I tried to change the "field labels" of them and tried to "activate" them, they were not getting activated. And in the data elements, it is showing like
"Modified/Active" state only even when I activated them.
And when I ignored them and went on to transport them to quality and then, I was able to see some warning messages like "tables were not activated" and also "data elements were not activated"
So I request kindly to help me in solving this issue.

No my concern is only one thing. Why the option "Modified/Active" is not gettting changed for the data elements? Does it mean the object is not activated?
In that case, how can we activate it?
If this is done, I think, everything will be solved automatically.

I got a requirement for developing a screen exit for transaction co11n ( i used CONFPP07 exit ) so i have added four
field in the screen and added four field in EXIT_SAPLCORU_S_100 ---> CAUFVD -.> CAUFVTAB-> CI_AUFK . now
my problem is when i try to activate the structure ci_aufk , it runs for some 20 minutes and tels some program has
taken maximum time so it was forced to terminate.....can anyone tel what should i do now to activate this structure ?

Interesting choice you have made -- to simply repost the exact same message from before. So, in light of zero details from you, you force us to guess -- hopefully we will guess right. The risk is yours.
I suggest the following steps:
1) Register HRT
Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > BBKey (it does not matter which line is current) > Register Now
2) Resend Service Books
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then please provide us something more to go on...your economy with words, while admirable, makes it very difficult to provide you with anything meaningful.
