Problem on Oracle11g2 RAC -- PRVF-5424 : Clock time offset check failed

I have a lot of file core wrrote every 6 hour and the same time of alert"node".log file show error about PRVF-5424 : Clock time offset check failed.
Yesterday I use this:
[root@hostname2 ~]# service ntpd stop
[root@hostname2 ~]# ntpdate
[root@hostname2 ~]# service ntpd start
in order to resolve but today the problem re-begin?

What is your OS name and version ?
In general you can solve these issues by configuring NTP service running on your cluster nodes to be synchronized with other NTP servers. For example on Linux please read "Oracle RAC and NTP" in http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/linux/linux-ntp-configuration.php#oracle-rac-and-ntp.

This might just be a typical Mountain Lion network glitch..
Reboot the TC.. that is usually enough to fix it.
Otherwise restart the whole network from off.. Reboot items in correct order.
Modem.. TC.. computer. 2min gap.
Tell us if that doesn't fix it.

RAC node reboots from time to time

Hi %,
we have a problem with our rac: it's a three node rac on sles9, 64 bit. one node reboots from time to time. We found nothing in any log file. (only in /var/log/messages of node 1:
"Feb 21 14:58:02 pmg-db1 kernel: o2net: connection to node pmg-db2 (num 1) at 192.168.0.2:7777 has been idle for 10 seconds, shutting it down."
). Does anyone had a similar problem? Or anyone an idea?

sorry no /var/log/demsg.
Perhaps I have to write another detail: the third node was added after the two node rac ran for several month. First we had the reboot problem with this third node. We found out, that the interconnect was connected to a 100Mbit module of the switch and not to a 1000Mbit module. We changed this a few days ago, but no the second node rebooted. And it is connected with 1000Mbit/s.
And did I mention, that we use 10.2.0.2?

The weird thing is that ntp configuration is symmetrical between both nodes and the ntp server "193.204.114.232" does not appear in /etc/ntp.conf
Why ntpd should use a server which is not listed in /etc/ntpd.conf ?

Yes, that IP is a valid hostname: 193.204.114.232 is ntp1.inrim.it, the "official" italian ntp server.
193.204.114.232 and ntp1.inrim.it do not appear in /etc/hosts, /etc/resolve.conf Ntp configuration is :

QuickWeb Clock Time

Pavilion G4-1229dx, Windows 7 64 bit
When the Windows clock is set to the correct local time, the QuickWeb time is too hours fast.
To get QuickWeb clock to the same time as the Windows clock, I must set the QuickWeb clock to use a time zone two hours earliert than my local time zone.
This work around does the job but I don't think it should work that way. I've tried changing the Windows internet sync location, tried manually settiing one clock, both clocks, and not manually setting either clock; the Bios time is correct. Nothing helps. I've run out of ideas.
Any suggestions for getting the QuickWeb clock and the Windows clock on the same time zone showing the correct local time?
I looked at some HP laptops on display in stores and they have the same two hour error.

HP is offering to replace or refund the price paid for the laptop as they are unable to fix the issue nor have any matching replacement....
All those having HP laptops, its a good opportunity to check your Quick web clock time and if it doesnt match Windows clock time (which i am 100% sure will not), then approach HP Support and escalate for replacement / refund....irrespective of how old your machine is this issue is inherent problem in all HP machines for which you should be duly compensated
Dont miss this chance of recovering the value for money paid to HP

IT 2002 is reducing .5 hrs when we enter clock times

Hi,
I was trying to enter clocktimes in IT2002 for all my entries. But though an entry should be for 5 hrs (07:30 - 12:30) system still shows 4.5 as total hours recorded. I think this is happening due to Break schedule configured in DWS.
Do any one know? how to define a break schedule but IT2002 should not deduct this break when clock times are entered???

yes it is Bcoz of break schedules, do one thing create a time type and assign in V_T555z table with ur groupinmg in time type 3 and in Processing type as S or P.
this will take the breaks into consideration during time evaluation.

here my results.
You can install it.
It shows up in Effects.
But as soon as you've put it in - Premiere Elements 8.0 crashes.
It even shows implemented time in the preview, but as soon as you work with it for more then 2-10 seconds it let's Premiere crash.
Seems like we have to wait for an update from the developer.

Random Clock Time and Date Changes

My clock time and date changes randomly. I have reset the iPhone and updated its software but it still changes. Can anyone help?

That just happened to me too! It started yesterday April 27 and did it today too. I think it changes around like 1pm-1:15pm. In order to get it to change back to the right time, I just turn off my phone then turn it back on. But that doesn't fix the problem. I don't know why its doing this! :[

ESS MSS Time Management: scenario without clock times (start/end) possible?

Implementing (negative) SAP HCM Time management with the WD Leave Request application we found that the clock times are always shown, for instance when requesting leave, scrolling over the leave calendar and in the leave approver's webdynpro.
The problem is that we are actually not interested in the begin and end-TIMES (hour started and hour ended) of any leave, other than the start and end DAY and the total number of hours taken off.
Is there a system setting where we can 'hide' the time/hours-fields in the entire leave request application (without having to analyze every single webdynpro gui elements etc.)? Anyone having experience with this kind of requirement? What did you do?

Given what you have to date this is one suggestion (more than 1 way to do this). I'm doing this from memory as I don't have system in front of me at the moment but should be spot on.
These steps are all sequential in SPRO under Time Evaluation > Without Clock Time > Time Data Processing
1). Create a new time type in V_T555A, call it ZOT1 - Overtime or whatever you like.
2). Define a Processing Type against your overtime attendance type V_554S_F - "P/T" Field, make it 09 for example
3). Next assign a processing type (the '09' you assigned to the attendance) and time type (ZOT1) in table T555Y
       - create a new entry in the table for your PSG & time type determination Group now using your P/T
       - Now in "PTyp 3" field which is used for assigning time types from IT2002 enter a Ptyp 3 of 'M' for overtime
       - In the "TTyp 3" field enter your new time type.
This will now generate a new time type and processing type TIP entry and leave your ordinary hours in tact.
Lastly you can define a rule in V_T510S for this particular time type to generate a overtime wage type.
There are other ways also, and maybe someone will post an alternative way - there is no 1 way only to do something in SAP.

I am facing problem of Clock time modifies to 1st March whicle 2900 series or 3500xl switches reloads.My IOS is c2950-c3h2s-mz.120-5.3.WC.1.I need to set the clock again every time it reload or poercycled.We have 173 Switches installed in Campus Area Network.It is difficult to check time & change it for every switch.Kidly suggest me solution.

Would suggest to go for secured NTP configuration in ur catalyst switches to avoid reentering the time after every reset.

Clock/time incorrect after upgrade to bootcamp 5 running windows 8-64

Since I did the upgrade to bootcamp 5 running windows 8-64, (which solved all the previous problems), the clock/time changes by itself to be off by hours frequently throughout the day.

I'd suggest you upgrade to OSB10.4.0.1.0 release.
Webtool taking ages is probably related to some other OS issue, check /var/log/messages and whatever and check your DNS settings are all correct.
What about obtool commands, are they also slow?

C5 Clock time resetting to 3 am after update

After I updated my C5 to latest Finnish software for hardware and ovi shop my C5 has this problem that clock time resets to 3:00 am after it goes to sleep mode (dark screen).
This is annoying because now I have to buy an alarm clock for tomorrow since I can't use my mobile to wake me up! grr! Handle it engineers!

You must have a Mac. Try this.
Quit Bridge, from user library (NOT system and root library) preferences folder find and delete the com.adobe.bridge5.plist file manual. Do this also in same user library caches folder (Caches/Adobe/Bridge CS6) and inhere find and the folder called 'cache' and drag it to the trash.
restart Bridge holding down option key and choose reset preferences, then try again.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
