Problem running RFICRC01 - Inter company reconciliation (GL accounts)

We are attempting to run program RFICRC01for Inter company reconciliation (GL accounts) in SAP 4.6c. Everytime the program runs, it either dumps or fails to output any documents.
Are there any specific configuration settings that we might have missed out? Is it not supported in 4.6c? Note that F.2E executes just fine.

Hi,
The system behaviour is correct. Because you might have selected the transfer variant as 1 Gross Method at the time of transfer. If you have selected the Net method system would have not transferred the Acc. Dep to the new company.
Thanks

  • Inter company reconciliation process configuration in one system

    Hi All,
We are upgrading from R/3 4.0B to ECC6.0 & currently using the classical GL. We are in process of customization of Inter Company Reconciliation for GL Open item, GL Accounts & A/R and A/P open items.
In the process of defining reconciliation process & detail attributes (T.Code: FBIC010) we are facing an error with description as "sender ledger 0 is invalid". But here we have not assigned any values (zero) & also system is not permitting to do so (as the field is graded out).
The detaild error screen is as follows:
Ledger 0 is not a valid sender ledger
    Message no. FB_ICRC114
    Diagnosis
You have specified ledger 0 as sender ledger for process 001. For process 001 the sender ledger must use totals table FBICRC001T. Ledger 0 uses totals table GLT0.
    System Response
Error message. Settings cannot be saved.
    Procedure
Specify a ledger which uses totals table FBICRC001T.
Pls suggest us how to overcome the above error. Kindly share the detailed customization documents if any has the same.

  • Inter-Company Reconciliation in ECC 6.0

    Hi Guru's,
We are implementing ECC 6.0 version for 560 Company Codes and wondering do we need to configure the new Inter-Company functionality for reconciliaiton. It gives me a feeling that this functionality makes more sense if you have Company Codes in different clients/different systems etc., To my knowledge all inter-company postings within a client should get reconciled automatically.
Could someone please share some your views on this?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
Inter-company adjustment and transactions are taken care of using the inter-company clearing accounts through automatic account determinations.  In ECC6, you have the option of defining segments and assignment of profit centres to segments.  When two profit centres/segments are involved in posting (for ex. in the case of two different companies and hence two profit centres), system would automatically pass entries in the segment clearing account to effect the adjustment of involvement of different segments in one transactions.  Through this, the transaction gets balanced in terms of segments or profit centres as the case may be.  If you have made document splitting active, the entries are checked for balancing before posting in fact.  thus the intercompany transactions are reconciled automatically.

    Hi Van,
The way you set-up <b>OBYA</b> depends on how you intend to handle inter-company transactions.
    1. If your intention is to create payable and receivable in both company codes which would now be settled when you carry out your normal pament run(<b>F110</b>), then the following are the config set-up you would have to make:
    a). First create Company A as a Vendor(<b>XK01</b>) and a Customer(<b>XD01</b>) in company code B
    b). Create Company B as a Vendor(<b>XK01</b>) and a Customer(<b>XD01</b>) in company code A.
c). Go to transaction code <b>OBYA</b>, when prompted for company code, type company code A into the first entry box and company code B into the second. Press enter.
d). In the first frame, "<b>Debit Posting Key</b>" should be "<b>01</b>" and "<b>Account Debit</b>" should be Company Code B Customer account number created in (b) above (assuming transaction is posted in A and cleared in B); "<b>Credit Posting Key</b>" should be "<b>31</b>" and "<b>Account Credit</b>" Company Code B Vendor account number created in (b) above.
Repeat the same thing for the second frame box, but this time around, use Customer a/c number and Vendor a/c number created in (a) above. Save your entries.
Your inter-company transactions via Account Payable/Receivable is ready for use.
If you want to use the G/L approach, let me know and i would outline the steps also.
Please award points if found useful.

  • Inter company GL posting with two diff company code currencys

    Hi
For the Inter-company G/L Account posting (Company codes 1000 has EUR currency key & 2000 has GBP currency key), I am using the BAPI FM BAPI_ACC_INVOICE_RECEIPT_POST & BAPI_TRANSACTION_COMMIT.
For this, I am giving the 'DocumentHeader' structure with Company code 1000. 'Accountapayable' structure as Lineitem -0000000001 and credit Account No. & 'AccountGL' structure as Lineitem -0000000002 and Debit Account No. And in 'CurrencyAmount' strcure as with LineItem - 1, Currency - EUR, AMT-BASE as 100- & Lineitem - 2 as with Currenct key - GBP, Exchange rate as 68.36, AMT-BASE as 1.00. (Because as pee my understanding 100EUR = 68.36GBP).
Using the above test data, i am getting the output parameters result as with message as 'Document posted successfully: BKPFF 010000061210002009 T90CLNT090'.
After the call of BAPI FM even when i added 'commit work' also Accounting document number is not updating in the database.
But when I go to BKPF table or FB03 transaction I am not able to see this document.
    Regards,
    Basani

I have found it out myself. You can give the company code at item level and though the document number it gives back is the document for the header level code, where as this document contains the cross company code document inside it.

  • Inter Company Business Process Overview

    Hi,
    Could someone provide explanation on
    1. Inter Company Business Process / accounting
    2. Consolidation process
Points would be assigned for satisfactory answers.
    regards
    Shankar

    Dear Shankar,
    1. Inter Company Business Process / accounting
This involves inter company transaction amongst the Group.
This may be in relation to the following.
    1. Common Debtors/Vendors
    2. Investments
    3. Inter company deposits and transfers of funds
    4. Inter company transfers of stock
    etc.
    2. Consolidation process
In case of consolidation process entire listed above categories are added up for totalling them at a Group level or Company level.
So in short these two are interrelated. At the time of consolidation all inter company debts are set off for making a consolidated balance sheet for reporting purposes.
    Hope this answers your question
    Deven.

  • Inter-Company sales processing

    Hi All,
I have carried out the Inter-Company sales processing and it is working fine upto the creation of Inter-Company billing.  The Inter-Company billing and Accounting document have also got created.  I have used both the output condition types RD00 for manual and RD04 for automatic posting.
Please let me know the process, which is need to be followed to complete the Inter-Company code sales processing once the intercompany billing/invoice is created....
When both the ouput condition types have been processed successfully, what is the next process???
In case of manual process, how/where the Ordering company code will take the Goods receipt and Invoice receipt?  What basis/what the reference document,  the ordering company code will use to process the above.
Hope I have conveyed my requirement.....
    Please help me...
    Regards,
    Mani
In case of Automatic process, how/where to check whether the data has been processed in the ordering company code?

    Dear Manivannan R
This is not Intercompany Scenario as defined by SAP, Intercompany scenario is different. In that if one company is not having stock then on behalf of one company , second company delivers the good to customer and second company gives IV invoice to first company, and actually first company sends invoice to customer
however your scenario can be done in following way
    1. First Scenario when PNT2 supplies the goods to PNT1, COC2 is vendor for COC1 and COC1 is a customer for COC2, so define one customer and one vendor
    2. second scenario, when PNT1 supplies the goods to PNT2, COC1 is a vendor for COC2 and COC2 is a customer for COC1, so define one customer and one vendor
Now you can use your existing sales order type and pricing procedure and treat this as normal sales
    Or
you can define specific sales order type and pricing procedure if your existing sales order type and pricing procedure is not sufficient.

    Jitesh

  • Inter Company Billing (for order-related)

    Dear SD Expert,
I have problem with "Inter Company Billing". What I have searched are showed in term of "Inter Company Billing (for Delivery-related). But, my case is about "Inter Company Billing (for Order-related). Thus, I got problem in created inter-company billing.
<u><b>Ex</b></u>  In "Copy Control from Sales Order to Billing", the configuration guide suggest me to use "014 (Hdr dlv.rel.IC bill.)"; but, I didn't want it to copy from delivery order. How can I solve it?
Could you help me on that?
    Best Regard,
    Prach

    Hi,
I saw in SAP Forum that you faced a similar problem sometime back as I am facing now.  Just curious to check whether you had a solution for the same, if so, please share with me.  Please see below for my problem.
We are using SAP R/3 4.6C version. Normally, the inter-company billing are delivery related and this is working fine. I am configuring the order related Inter-company billing, i.e. Third Party drop shipment with Inter-company. I refered to SAP notes 203876, 63459, 381042 and maintained the copy control between OR => IVA (for TAS) as follows:
    Copying requirement = '013',
    Invoiced quantity = 'F', (*)
    Quantity/value = '+',
    Pricing type = 'G'.
The issue I am facing is when I try to create an Inter-company invoice (after the F2 Customer invoice), the End customer details is being pulled instead of the Inter-company customer details. In other words the Inter-company invoice is also being issued to the End customer. Also the prices are showing in negative.
Kindly share with me if any of you guys know a solution for this. I have searched all the SAP forums, but couldn't find a similar issue.
My concern here is, in none of the SAP notes, there is no information about the copying requirement at the header level between OR=>IVA. I am not sure whether this is causing the issue.
My mail id is "[email protected]".
I would appreciate your reply to this message.

    Saravanan

  • Cost of Goods Sold account determination by customer type (inter-company)

We have a business need to separate the the cost of goods sold be customer type.  Specifically separating the inter-company cost of goods sold from the 3rd party cost of goods sold.
The standard COGS account determination in GBB/VAX only allows for differentiating between material valuation class.
Has anyone attempted this before and what method worked?

For those who may need an answer to this, our solution was the following:
    1)       Created new types for SO, SO Item, Sched. Line, Delivery, Delivery Item, Billing type
    2)       Created new Pricing procedure
    3)       Created new movement type Y61/Y62 modeled after 601/602
    4)       Mapped Y61/Y62 to account modifier ZAX.
    5)       Mapped GBB/ZAX to the new account.
Benefits, they now have better view of the orders going inter-company.  It is flexible enough to adjusting prices for intercompany separate from standard orders, even though for now it is a straight copy of cost.  They are able to remove the sales/use tax, from the calculations. They are able to plan with these orders separated out.  Plus, this will standardize their process for inter-company.
    Hope this helps someone.
    Cheers!
    Rick

  • Running SAPF101 after changing reconciliation accounts

When I run SAPF101 after changing reconciliation accounts in Customer masters should  see the following adjustments:
    Cr old reconciliation account
    Dr adjustment account
    Cr adjustment account
    Dr new reconciliation account
this then corrects the balances in the reconciliation accounts for the period end
and then reverses on the first working day of the next period.
    Is my understanding correct?
what I am actually seeing is:
    Cr adjustment account
    Dr adjustment account
and reverse on the first working day of the next period
My posting results make the exercise meaningless.
Am I missing some config to complete this exercise in full?
    Help would be appreciated

After going through this <a href="http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_02/helpdata/en/96/8b335343ce11d189ee0000e81ddfac/frameset.htm">Documentation</a> I realize that your understanding is different from what is described. The recon account will not be invoked in the entry.
Since we cannot post to a recon account directly, the line items are posted to the adjustment acccount. So, only adjustment accounts will be involved.
Let's assume there ten line items in a customer account. If four line items have gone to original recon account  and the remaining six line items have gone to new recon account. When you run this program, the line items of original recon account are posted to the adj account of both the recon accounts. The postings to the adj account of the original recon account will negate the effects of the original postings. Therefore both the adj account of the original recon account and the original recon account shall be grouped together, in the financial statements.
Similarly,  the adj account of the new recon account and the new recon account shall be grouped together in the financial statements.
Once the P&L and B/S are made, you reverse the above entries. The reversal information is included in the program parameters.

  • Inter company billing - how to post to GL accounts and not sub-ledger

    Hi,
During Inter company billing, instead of creating Inter company customer and vendor invoice, there is requirement to post to Inter company GL accounts. How do we tweak the system to post to Inter company GL accounts instead of IC Customer/ Vendor?
    Thanks,
    Mukul

Use t-code OBYA and instead of vendor/customer accounts use GL Accounts.  This should help you post directly to GL versus Customer/Vendors.
