Problem with 861W Setup

I got myself an 861W and had been fighting with the configuration for a while. Now I got the configuration so far, that LAN Connectivity is working, WLAN is working.
I can connect an WLAN Client to the AP and reach the IPs of the AP and Router VLANs.
But now I cannot reach the BVI Management Interface anymore vom LAN. In some earlier configuration step I was able to reach it. Then I changed something according so some Community posts to get the Wireless running and now that does not work anymore.
I don´t which configuration change caused that.
Also I cannot reach my Notebook (192.168.45.100) from the AP to save the config via TFTP.
Can anyone please help.. ?Any tips or optimization hints are more than welcome.

I seemed to have a folder in my users Library folder called KeyBindings and a file in there called DefaultKeyBinding.dict. When removing this everything was back to normal. So seems as though the file was steeling my option key mapping. Not good.

I re set up my Airport network , having had 4 expresses for years doing a good job. I bought another and an express, but then a time capsule after my external drive died. .Problems with Airport setup after buying Version 7 models, (older ones will not upgrade)
I moved house and have fibre network so 38mb/s - they all look ok on the utility, but its not till I saw the App version that they are not compatible as mac will not upgrade the version 6 ones, leaving me with 2 disjointed networks and 7 appliances, 4 of the old , 3 of the new.
my new house is expansive so i wanted the extended range and airplay in each room.
This is not told to customers, and utility doesnt show any issues.
I do not seem to get any range from either network now, - and I'm quite experienced with airport (6 yrs of setting up & using & extending)
Any advice ?

Problem with TMS setup in HA systems

Dear colleagues,
Our team have installed a new production environmnent to ECC in HA. We have a ASCS in cluster and two dialog instance in each server(local instance).
A virtual host GPPR3CIB and two instances in local, node GPPR301 and node GPPR302. This is an ECC 6.0 on Windows 2003 Server and SQL server 2005.
The architecture is as follows:
- GPPR301 node:
   - Virtual ASCS ASCS_0 (message server)
   - ABAP Primary Instance PPR301_1 (disp+work)
   - ERS (Enqueue replication server) instace ERS_10
- GPPR302 node:
   -ABAP Additional Instance PPR302_2 (disp+work)
   -Virtual Database Instance GPPR3DB
   -ERS (Enqueue replication server) Instance ERS_10
Once the installation is complete you need to apply SAP Note No. 943334 - "TMS setup in high availability systems" to set up high availability STMS. The problem is to distribute the configuration after running
the report " 'TMS_MGR_LOADBALANCING" described in SAP note.
The message indicates problems trying to run the command tp.exe. It has followed the note No. 1010990 and we have checked the folder permissions of the kernel but the problem persists.
Any information or help regarding this type of setup would be welcome.

We have solved the problem with STMS. After several tests, the problem was in the parameter SAPLOCALHOSTFULL. This parameter must be assigned the hostname of the local system for each profile instance. If you've assigned the virtual host in the cluster generates the error in the distribution of the STMS.

Problem with J2SDK setup

Hi all,
I am experiencing problems with my J2SDK setup. I think my problem due to many previous versions of JDKs.
I have re-installed JSDK1.4.2_03, set the "path" variable to "C:\JSDK1.4.2_03".
When I compile using "javac" I get an error saying "javac" is not recognised.
When I compile using "C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03\bin\javac Freq.java" no error is thrown.
Every time I try to run a java file, I always get the NoClassDefFound error. When run with the -verbose option, files are loaded from C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_03\bin - is this correct?
I have removed all previous references to java in the registry editor.
I would be really grateful to you (and anyone else) for help with this problem.

Thanks for getting back to me. I have altered my CLASSPATH and path. Unfortunately it is still not working. I have run java using the full path to the jdk and the jars are loaded in from the right place, but I still get the noclassdeffound error. I have removed all references to CLASSPATH and PATH. When I run with the verbose option (with no ref to the jdk in any variable), the jar files are loaded in from C\program files\java\j2re1.4.2_03! But there is no reference to this location in any variable.My j2sdk is installed in C:\j2sdk1.4.2_03.

My notebook is dv6-6c53er with two earphones outs and one microphone. So, I want to ask you a question. Can I set my earphones outs for different tasks or can I set them as independed outs. My English isn't so good, but that isn't so good, when i'm listening my music and when i get a message in skype - my music in earphones out is lost, but I hear Skype (soung of message), and music is playing on beats speakers, and past 2 seconds - again (in earphones - music, on speakers - nothing).
So, the problems are:
1) How I can set settings for each earphone out (to do it independed or to play different sounds)?
2) What Can I do with problem with Skype and outs?
3) Help me, please with settings in Traktor, because at Native Instruments forum I didn't receive resolve of my problem...
And problem with Traktor is:
I can't to set each earphone out for playing each deck in Traktor.
Help me, please with this problems!

I have the same problem. I was however able to install 9i. Then I was able to use the 9i Installer to install the 8.17 software. But I can not run the 8.17 Database Configuration Assistant. It will not start same as the 8.17 setup.exe.

Problem with keyboard setup.

I am having problem with my keyboard setup. When clicking the option key (alt) and a number key no symbols appear. Instead the computer gives away a beep. If I view the Keyboard viewer the symbols appear correct. I have created a new user and tried logged in as the new user. Then the symbols appear instead of the beep. What strange settings can I have made?

Problem with Multiserver setup in LMS4.01

Hello,
we have a problem with a Multiserver setup in LMS4.01.The devices that should be manged in the slave server stay in unmanaged state.
Our goal configuation is:
Server-1 = DCR-Master
Managed devices = 4200
Apllications = RME, CM, IPM
Server-2 = DCR-Slave
Managed devices = 150 (this number is a subset of the 4200 devices on Server-1)
Applications = DFM + HUM
We created on the master-server a user-defined group with 150 critical devices and we configured a Master-Slave Setup as described in the documentation:
- Master Server - creating a peer user
- Slave Server - Creating a system identify user (with the same name/password as the peer user on the master server)
- Master + Slave Server - Creating certificate on slave + master server and import these certificates to each other
- Master Server - Enabling DCR-Master mode
- Slave Server - Enabling DCR-Slave mode
- Slave Server - Enabling at device allocation settings the functions <Inventory Mgmt>, <Fault Mgmt> and <Performance Mgmt> only
- Slave Server – Creating policy configuration for device allocation for the user-defined critical device group only
When I create the policy configuration on the slave server I can see all devices in the DCR and I can also see the user-defined group with the critical devices that I created on the master server. So there shouldn't be a problem with certifiactes or the peer/system identify users.
Now I would expect that I see the 150 imported devices in the slave server in a managed state. But when I check “Inventory> Device Administration> Manage Device State” in the slave server I see all 4200 devices in unmanaged state. And this looks wrong.
Any ideas about it?

Nope. No solution from anyone. I had been fighting with it with several SAP Notes but not yet success. I opened a ticket with SAP but no solution yet.
I think it caused by our already existing SSL and integration with federated Portal.
I don't have any system with the same software to compare.
I followed all related notes by the book. My system was upgraded from BW 3.0B to NW04s SR1 SP Stack 10 then new Java add-in installation with usage BI-JAVA & EP SP Stack 10 .
I will conquer this some day- Wish me luck!

Problems with email setup on my E72

I have problems with my email setup, the phone will not notify me when a new email arrives. I have had the unit in the shop, tried to get help form my service provider, have sent it back for repairs and it still will not work properly. The repair centre told me that it does have the latest software on it and said it should work fine. It,s a brilliant phone but this so frustrating. I would appreciate some help to get this sorted. Problems with Email Setup

I purchased a Blackberry Curve 9330 a few days ago, and am having problems with the email setup. I previously had an older model of the Curve, so have used Blackberry for email before. I'm going to Messagex ---> Options ---> Email Account Management and I get the following message:
"A new BlackBerry device has been detected. You must move email account(s) to resume email delivery to your BlackBerry device. Email delivery to your old device has been stopped."
It then lists the three email accounts I had on my previous Blackberry, and I click on "Move". It prompts me to enter my passwords for each email address, I do, and it says "Your password has been successfully validated." It shows all three email addressess. I return to my home screen, and the email icons are not there. I go back to Email Account Management, and it prompts me to "move" my email accounts and enter passwords all over again. I've done this at least 20 times at this point.

I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2 each should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRT
KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless network
2) Delete and Resend Service Books
KB05000Delete the service book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account from the BlackBerry smartphone
KB02830 Send the service books for the BlackBerry Internet Service
3) Batt Pull Reboot
Anytime random strange behavior or sluggishness creeps in, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the back cover and pull out the battery. Wait about a minute then replace the battery and cover. Power up and wait patiently through the long reboot -- ~5 minutes. See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.
Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should contact your wireless service provider for formal support.

Instalation Disc Missing, problem with language setup

I have problem with installation of windows 7 home premium (x64). I got licence for polish edition of your OS. Now i was forced to reinstall this, but i lost my disc. I have found an english wersion of installation disc, so i thought hell yeah i will install
this and switch language later as many yours and external help sites says.
Well of course it can't be that easy, BECAUSE YOU HAVE BLOCKED LANGUAGE CHANGE in this particular OS.
So i would like to ask, can you provide a download link for polish installation disc for win home premium (x64)? (I have found lot of possible language versions but not polish)
By the way i have also tried to install language pack manually. What a suprise your clean fresh installed OS deletes any *.cab files, including the ones stored on external drives. I have my own *. cab packages with my personal files witch were also deleted
and if i had'nt made a backup - i would be seriously angry.

HT4623 having problems with ios7 setup

downloaded ios 7, trying to set it up and i get connect to itunes part and then get a message on my computer saying there is a problem with my phone and visit the services centre but nothing has worked

Problem with Software Setup?

I was to upgrade Adobe Creative Suite 3 Premium in my Power Mac G4 (PCI Graphics) and Tiger 10.4.11 with 1GB of RAM. The installation was successful, but opening one of the applications and the Software Setup appeared. I filled out the serial numbers with the green check mark approved and clicked "Next". The next page I filled out the previous CS2 Premium Serial numbers with the green check mark approved and clicked "Next" - it disappeared with the error message saying "The application has unexpectedly quits". I tried again and it unexpectedly quits on all applications again.
I've called the customer service 5 times and tried to solved the problems in different ways, but none knew what was the problem. I reinstall 3 times even after uninstall. I've tried with the safe boot. I suspect that it has to do with the Software Setup errors.
Any suggestions?

Currently, it is uninstalled. All I can remember that it said "The application has unexpectedly quits," just as I said in the first message. (reread the first message same situation).
I requested to return a refund within the 30 days from the purchased. They are in the process of approving upon my Letter of Software Destruction will be notified within few weeks. I've submitted last Sunday and tomorrow is the 30th day agreement.
I assumed this Software Adobe CS3 Design Premium will not be available to register this serial number I have.
Perhaps, you can figure out what was the problem since my machine is Power Mac G4 (PPC), PCI Graphics, 1999, 400MHz, 1 GB of RAM, CD only, 80GB Hard drive, Tiger 10.4.11, J2SE 5.0, and Quicktime 7.4.5
I installed with an SONY external DVD ROM drive (USB plugged in the back of CPU).

Problem with Desktop Setup

My problem is, I select one of Apple's desktop pictures. The picture changes when I select to change on frequent times (for example every 30 minutes) or when I select Random. Is there a way to stop it from changing immediatly? Thanks

This may be a bug related to Remote Desktop.
I have a problem where Remote Desktop tries to steal the focus when I work with Excel on a dual monitor setup. So, if I have Excel open on one screen, and if I then have a remote desktop session on a second screen, sometimes when I copy that back and
forth from the RD window, the taskbar will begin to flash as if trying to get the control when I work in Excel. Note that my primary computer is Windows Vista, I am using Excel 2007 and I am using RD to connect to a Windows XP computer. Both computers
are fully patched with the latest SPs. Monitor 1 (left) is the primary monitor that has Excel on it, and Monitor 2 (right) has the RD window in full screen mode.
This becomes a problem because normally, my taskbar is hidden, but each time the RD window keeps flashing, it unhides the taskbar and covers a lot of my work. I do not recall this problem occuring in XP, but I may have forgotten. Also, I have only
noticed this problem when I am working with RD and Excel. In addition, this problem is not consistent and the problem sometimes doesnt occur.
A workaround that I use is to not open the RD window in full screen mode.
Anyone else have this issue, or any suggestions on resolving this problem?

Have you tried updating your Remote Desktop software?
I was having this issue on Windows XP SP3. Fixed the issue by updating Remote Desktop from version 6.0.6001.18000 to 6.1.7600.16385.

EDIT: Unfortunately, this did not solve the issue as previously stated. After updating RDC it worked for a few days, then the issue came back. Still have not found a solution :(

Problems with the setup of my new AE

Hi to all. I have an Airport Express since a long time, that works properly. I got a new one, to extend my signal to other area of my house. The first time I connected the new AE (802.11n)to configure it, the Airport Utility recognized the devise but I got an error message that prompt me to repeat the previous steps. After this, the new devise can't be recognized to be configured. I have restarted the AE without luck. What I am doing wrong?

Hi - am having same problem. The Airport Utility sees the base station, but clicking Manual Setup or Continue sends it into a long search (for the config file I believe) and it then puts up error message "An error occured while reading the configuration file..."
All I can do is RESCAN.
Thought I had it sorted... Restarted both AX and iMac (G5) and got through the whole manual setup. Now it is saying "Your AX doesn't have a valid IP address... Make sure..."
I must say Apple isn't making it easy with this.
