Problems in Rebate agreement

The problem is that After final rebate settlement there is still open accrual.
And in another agreement the p&l effect in SAP is much more higher than the difference of accrued and paid amounts.
I revised already the agreement conditions and I didn't find out anything....
Where can be the Problem?

Dear Tirumalasetti,
This may be due to there is holiday in that calendar on the date of the Rebate agreement period end date.
So please change the Rebate agreement period end date or change holiday to working day in that calendar on that date.

    We have a problem with Rebate agreement settlement.
    Generally when the finall settlement of Rebate is completed ( with status D - D means final settlement ), the liability should be zero. However, after we made final settlement, still some amount is showing as liability when we looked at the sales volume of the rebate agreement.

    I created a rebate agreement of type 0005 and maintained amount Rs 5000 for a customer
    while creating billing document the condition type BO06 was determined in the billing doc but without anu value
    the analysis shows that condition record has been found
    I have checked the pricing date and all other parameters but still not able to figure out the mistake

    If you are working with the standard rebate agreement 0005 and condition type BO06
    You will be working with a sales independant agreement and a fixed amount condition.
    For a fixed amount there is no posting of accruals because it is already known what the
    liability is in the agreement.
    If accruals are required most customer's would post a manual accrual from the agreement
    for the fixed amount of the agreement condition.
    In your billing document you will see the Bo06 condition is determined and the agreement is
    known but the condition value will always be 0.00 for a fixed amount.
    This is correct and expected

  • Problem with Rebate Agreement Sales Volume

    Hi,
    I executed the rebate recalculation via SDBONT06 for a total of 93 agreements on 04.08.2014 and therefore the sales volume was updated and there was no message in VBO3 as well.
    But today when i am checking the agreements all of them are showing message "Sales Volume is not Current"
    I have gone through all the threads on SCN for this.
    there have not been any changes in payer, sales org, agreement or agreement conditions.
    I dont see any customizing also changed.
    Please help asap as to what can be the reason for this message all of a sudden.

    When you rebuild the rebate index table VBOX all agreement conditions will be set to retroactive again. I guess someone has run RV15B001 on your system in the meantime ? 
    The "Sales Volume is not current" message is issued when the rebate condition is flagged as retroactive (KONP-KSPAE) SDBONT06 resets that when it has completed a successful update
    So just run SDBONT06 again, all of you 93 agreements are updated so the report will only reset the KONP-KSPAE field on the conditions in that case.

    I'm having trouble in the creation of Credit Memo Request No..The problem is that, when i'm going to settle the rebate agreement no. ( VB(7 ), and i append a date in VALIDITY DATE TO, after the creation of credit memo request no., the billing date of that no. is not matched to VALIDITY DATE TO. What are the reason why it came up to this problem? Normally, the VALIDITY DATE TO will APPEAR in the billing date field after you created the credit memo request no. Please help people why this happen.

  • Rebate agreement problem

    HI,
    I have created rebate agreement for my own by coping the standard one 0003 customer rebate .and created my own condition type and assign it to pricing procedure .Now the problem is when i created billing document it shows the rebate condition type with proper value .But when i release the billing document to accounting then the condition type releavent for rebate vanish. But when i use the standard one it shows also after releasing it to accounting .Can you please tell what could be the problem .I have checked there is no diffrence with the standard but only Access Sequence . I also created accesss sequence with the acess category 1. Thanks in advance .

  • Problem during settlement of an enhanced rebate agreement

    Hi,
    I am trying to configure enhanced rebate agreement in my company. I think I've completed all prerequisites to start using this functionality: the enterprise extension EA-ISE is active, the info structure S136 and S469 were configured by using transaction OMO1, a VARKEY was assigned to an agreement type, table TMC2F has the required entries, etc.
    As a matter of fact, when I create a billing the corresponding records in table S469 are inserted with the corresponding VARKEY (which only include de material number). However when I run the transaction RBT_ENH_VB7 to execute a final settlement  of the agreement the material registered in VARKEY field of table S469 are not being transfered to the memo credit. Instead of these, the memo credit is created with the material of settlement.
    ¿What part of the configuration is missing? I have execute several times the transaction RBT_ENH_REBUILD but the result is the same.

    Hi,
    I found the cause of my problem. The standard functionallity of extended rebate agreement was ignoring the record of table S469 because in transaction OMO1 the period split was defined as Day. The standard functionallity only consider "Month" as a period.
    After modify this setting the memo credit created in a final settlement contain several lines associated to the records of table S469

  • Rebate condition in rebate agreement cannot be maintained (greyed out)

    Hi.
    We have setup rebate processing in CRM 7.0.
    We get our invoice to the billing due list and it fills then the extract. But we fail in setting up the rebate agreemnt in the webui.
    Partner and material are entered. On the position (material) we try to add one of the conditions of the maintenance group we customized. Both condition types can be selected but none of them will work.
    What happens: we click on "new" select the condition type and get then presented with the view but with all fields greyed out (as in display mode).
    As there are a lot of obligatory fields we get up to 8 messages. After "fill in required entry fields" it says "maintain rebate material".
    Whatever that means.
    The material we use is a finished product.
    Has somebody ever seen this or some idea. Couldn't find oss messages on this.

    Hi Klaas,
    If I remember well, in the standard price determination there is a conditional formula that only shows rebate conditions in the invoice, therefore you should not see rebate conditions in the sales order.
    That is standard functionality.
    For a Customer I took out the formula condition in the pricing so he could actually see the rebate condition in the sales order, the reason was to had access to this information before end of month invoicing. The problem is that in case of changes in rebate agreement or in case of retrospective agreements the rebate condition is only updated in the invoice, not in the sales order.

  • Settling Rebate Agreements with Validity Start Date not Start of the Month

    Hello Experts,
    I am currently trying to settle a rebate agreement with validity dates November 20, 2011 to December 31, 2011. However, after the credit memo is created, I noticed that the Service rendered date is today's date, but I expected it to be the same as my Settlement Date = November 30, 2011 (a month-end). Please advise if this is normal. If not, please advise how to correct the automatic entry of dates.

    Kindly let us know what is the rebate agreement type that has been used for which you are facing problem and for which rebate agreement type you are getting the month end date.Check wheather scale basis is B(Value scale) has been maintained or not for the rebate agreement for which you are getting problem.So check the differences between the two rebate agreement types.As The service rendered date of the invoice line item is used to determine the validity of a rebate condition record

    Rebate Agreements are created for a Customer, the Partner role of the Customer can be Payer or Sold To, depending on the document where the Rebate is calculated.
    Rebate Agreements are governed by Agreement Types.
    Rebate Agreements can be created using the menu path-
    Logistics -> Sales and Distribution -> Master Data -> Agreements
    -> Rebate arrangement -> Create

  • Rebate Agreement, Open Accrual

    Hi All,
    In our organization, we use rebate agreement extensively. Most of the agreements are for one year validity period.
    My problem is that when we finally settle the agreement and issue credit memo for final settlement some accrul is left open. Generally we make sure that at the time of settlement the accrued amount is equal to the final settlement value. This is done by doing the manual posting of accrual.
    In case some agreement has some open accrual, when Agreement are in "C" or "D" status, how can i make the open accrual as "zero". this is also due to audit pupose we don't want any open accrual against an agreement.

    We have prepared the report using rebate tables and achieved the results but we missed below one logic here.i.e.
    Business want to maintain the rebate accruals condition records for few customers accounts in the rebate agreement although it’s not related to rebate receipts account.
    Example: rebate agreement: 20000
    Rebate receipt: 123456 (Payer account)
    Rebate condition records
         1)    Customer & material combination – customer # 1000 and material # ABC – 5.0 % - appearing the reports –Status : Working appearing the reports Customer # 1000 Payer is -123456
    2)       Customer # 9999 and material # ZXY – 5.0% - Not appearing the report – Status: Failed
    Customer # 9999 is Payer – 88888 – both accounts are don’t have any PF relationship with rebate receipts # 123456
    When Rebate Condition records are maintaining for Rebate receipt related to customer (SP) account & material combination level in this scenario – Reports working fine .However, few scenarios like business need to maintain rebate accrual condition records for other payer customer accounts in the same agreement in this scenario – Reports is not pulling the invoice accruals due to logic missing our early logic given based on the rebate recipient customer level. I am excepting a technical logic with functional details in this.

    Proposal:
    Setup your rebate condition as amount = 0 and accruals = $
    The system will do the accounting movements for the accruals as usual
    When doing the final settlement in SD, nothing will be credited to the customer as the rebate condition is zero BUT the accruals will be reversed (as usual when doing the final settlement).
    That should work because it is standard SAP logic.
    On the other hand, it is a pity not to be able to credit the customer if you already have the rebate agreement created in the system.
    Are you 100% positive about this legal issue in your business environment?
    I did a few rebate projects in FMCG and it is standard practice to send credit memo to the rebate recipient: The Customer (Payer in SAP).
    Nobody ever said it was a problem, because practically speaking it is just one more credit note to the same customer that was invoiced beforehand!

  • Rebate agreements: Turnover for archived invoices cannot be displayed

    We have implemented a check routine in archiving which prevents rebate relevant invoices from being archived before the rebate agreement is settled.
    As soon as the rebate agreement is settled invoices may be archived. That means that the turnover display (verfication level ,All documents') of a settled rebate agreement does not necessarily show all invoices (if some of them are already archived).
    As a possible solution for that problem an enhancement can be implemented (as fas as i have investigated the coding) where you can read additional data from archived invoices and add them to to the verification list.
    Does anyone has had experience with that problem respectively implemented a solution for that ?

    We faced a lot of issue with rebates because of the archiving frequency of invoices.If you check the verifiction level
    it should still diplay the invoices.
    Why do they want to view the sales volume for the settled rebate agreement?
    After exploring all the alternatives we decided to reduce the validity periods within the archiving period of invoices (for example
    we had 3 years validity period whereas the archiving program archives invoices past 2 years).This resolved
    a lot of issues for us especially the entries in VBOX were reduced which had sometimes resulted in tbale overflows.
    I do not know if this will solve your problem but any how wanted to share our experience.

  • Currency in Rebate Agreement is different to Curr. required for Credit Memo

    Hello!
    I have a question regarding Rebate Agreements.
    We have clients with whom we have Rebate Agreements in USD, but clients are chilean so the Credit Memo is meant to be in Chilean Pesos. But there is apparently no possiblity to change the currency neither in Credit Memo Request neither in Credit Memo. The Chilean Financial Institute does not allow Credit Memo Document issued in USD, it has to be in Chilean Pesos!
    Do you have any idea how to solve this problem?

    First of all maintain currency conversion in OBO8  . Now when you settle the rebate agreement then go to Credit memo order (change mode)  and in item data ->conditions tab change the currency then automatically the value will also change and the same value will flow to the Credit memo billing document and then you can forward it to FI.

  • Clearing date in rebate agreement

    Hi,
    In the drill down report of the rebate agreement, i can see the list of the invoices subjected to rebates acrruals. There is also information on the clearing date and cleared indicator. May I know what are these two fields mean? We have the problem for an invoice it is already cleared by incoming payment as showned in document flow in tcode VF03, but in the rebate report, the clearing date and cleared indicator is blank.

    Thanks for your valuable inputs. I had analyzed as suggested and found nothing which suggests me how 03/30/08 was taken as clearing date.
    Infact it happened only during processing of Mar 08 customer receipts.
    In earlier months, it never happened this way ie., clearing date later than posting date of payment document.
    Any suggestions on this issue.
