Problems redeeming a card

I've redeem the card but the credit is not showing when I check the Skype and I can't re-do that redeem anymore so could you help to get my AUD$10 credit back?

    Try shooting Apple an email using Express Lane.
    Just choose the iTunes Store option and give a breif description of the problem. Don't forget to include the codes on teh card.

    Try to go to the settings on your phone... Settings > Store > Click your Apple ID: And sign out from your account, then sign in again .... This solved the problem for me on my iPhone 4s

    I've been having the same issues too, and thought it was just my outdated computer or account?!
    Every time I try to purchase a song, "session has timed out" shows up after I click "agree" to the terms!? I seem to be in the exact same scenario as 'SportsBarn' above:  Itunes support have replied repeatedly with the same "solutions" but nothing has helped or even been applicable.  I have an older laptop, 2005 Powerbook running OS X 10.4 Tiger so it's not compatible with the latest iTunes 10.5.2 which requires minimum OS X 10.5. I've been using the balance already in my iTunes account (from redeemed giftcards over the past few years) with no problem, until recently (my last successful purchase was October 2011). I wonder if it's the older OS or just a redemption glitch even with newer computers?

    Hi All,
    I had this problem today myself, and was frustrated repeatedly by the '4002' error.
    I have literally just fixed the issue by doing the following steps:
    1: Go to the 'Store' tab and select 'Turn Off iTunes Match'
    2: Return to the 'Store' tab and select 'Update Genius'
    3: Wait for this to complete succesfully, the return to the 'Store' tab once more and select 'Turn On iTunes Match'.
    4: iTunes Match will now go through the motions and should succeed!

    I checked the value of a gift card and it asked me to redeem.  I did so, and now show $10 credit to my acct.  But when I go to purchase a $9.99 album, it goes directly to my CC info, and the "Redeem gift card" section at checkout says my card has already been used.

    Contact the iTunes Store through the form at the bottom of the Gift Card FAQ web page and explain the problem to them. They should be able to help you.

    I've the same problem. ipod running iOS 5.1.1, when I go to redeem the screen would say "Loading ..." and then kicks me back to the Redeem screen again. Many times, this would happen even before I finished entering the code. Reboot and resetting does not help.

Go to your internet browser and copy the link into the address bar... That should open the iTunes store and give you "Redeem" page.
    It doesn't fix the error necessarily, but let's you redeem the card.

    I have tried so many times to delete my expired credit card information from iTunes so that it will only deduct from the redeemed gift card (that was taken in successfully).  But, there isn't a NONE button next to the credit card icons, erasing my number doesn't work and yet, the site is adament about getting new information about my credit card that is dead in the water.
