Process Order Base Quantity calculation - WPL

Hi,
In COR2 when changing Total order quantity (Litres) (CAUFV-GAMNG) the Base quantity (Kgs) automatically re-calculates (CAUFV-BMENGE).
As far as I can see this is calculated from the WPL found in the material master > additional data > units of measure e.g. 1000lts = 1255kgs.
However if I create a process order it calcualtes with say 1.255 Kg/l, I then change the WPL in the material master, come back into the order and then change the Total order quantity. The base qty is still using the old WPL.
My question is where does the base quantity calculation take the WPL from? If it does take it from the material master is there anyway of making the process order pick up the current WPL in the calculation and the not the previous one?
thanks
Tom

  • Batch determination issue in process order Material quantity calculation

    Dear Gurus,
We are facing issue in auto batch determination in process order (Material quantity calculation ).
eg Material X  is active material 200 KIA used in BOM as
    10  X   200  KIA
    20  Y   10           Filler
    30  Z
    40  X   200  KIA
    50  Y
    60  Z
We select line item 10 and 40 and do Batch determination system proposes 2 batches for line item 10 as Batch A and B
and for line 40 again Batch A (with 0.01 KIA) and batch B proposed which is wrong.
For line Item 10 Batch A and B
For line Item 40 Batch B and C or as per FIFO logic.
As Batch A should be consumed in Line item 10 then it proposed Batch B and so on....
We have already maintain data in COB1.
Can any body explain what is wrong in determination.

  • Process Order Confirmation Quantity from Preceeding Operation

    Hi All,
Please can you let me know if the below requirement can be met:
I have 2 phases to confirm (both are milestone confirmations). The Process order header quantity is 100 kg. While doing the confirmation for Phase 1, I do a final confirmation  for 90 kg. Now while doing the confirmation for Phase 2, the system still populates the default yield as 100 kg and not 90 kg.
Is there a way to display 90 kg as default yield for Phase 2? Is there a standard Config that can help? If not what is the solution?
    Thanks,

  • Rework process order without price calculation

    Hi friends,
Our client at present rework process order done through edit or change or add the a BOM manually from the T.code COR1, because of that my costing has been changed hugely it will hit my price diff account, After Costing run price will change 10 to 50 Rs like that.
How to do without price calculation for the rework process order ,please provide the solution for this requirements.
    Thanks &Regards,

    hi
the purpose of process order w/o material
If you want to use a process order for a reworking procedure
If you want to use a cleanout recipe
    t code  CORO
create a order w/o material for rework qty
Make the same entries as described under Creating a Process Order With a Material. Once you have created the process order, the system will copy all the data from your master recipe, but not the material list.
maintain settlement cat, receiver and % in parent order
carryout goods movement for rework qty

  • Process order confirmation quantity

    Dear friends,
I am working with process industry. My order type is PI01. Control key PI01.
In material master in "work scheduling" view, i have maintained production scheduling profile as"000001". ( in t.code OPKP--i have activated "Auto GR indicator).
In material master MRP2 View ihave maintained Prod store location also.
I have created my BOM in CS01 for process industry.
Now i am confirming my order in CORZ,  in my last phase, i am expecting my finished goods also automatically to move.
<b>But the system is not bringing the finished goods</b>.  Why?
It is bringing only my BOM components (means semi finished goods). Even for my semi finished goods, it is not bringing the BOM Quantity. I am manually inputting the quantity for my semi finished goods.
    <b>
Why the system is not bringing the quantity for my semifinshed goods?</b>
(I<b> have maintained maste rrecipe for my finished  goods only, not for semi finished goods)</b>
    Thanks
    Senthil

    Hi ,
In the  customization for confirmation parameters for process orders , in the genral valid settings screen , tick the goods movements for all components feild that will solve your problem ,

  • Material on-order stock quantity calculation

Can anyone tell me the function module or method used by SAP to determine the amount of a material on an open purchase order (not yet received)?  I need to document a BW functional spec but cannot seem to be able to document how SAP does this.
Examples of what i am looking for are:
MMBE, on-Order stock quantity (Per material/Plant/Storage Locaiton)
ME2K, Selection parameters WE103 - Still to be delivered (per PO)
    Thanks.

    Ram
I have found that function module previously but cannot seem to be able to execute it.
    Import Parameters:
    X_ELIKZ = Blank
    X_LOEKZ = Blank
    X_MATNR = my material number
    X_MEINS = Unit of Measure
    Tables:
    XTAB = <B><U><I>What do I use here?</B></U></I><BR>
    XWERKS = my plant
No matter what I enter in XTAB (I have tried Blank, EQ, NB so far) I get an ABAP Dump:
<I><B>The IN itab operator is used with internal tables which have the following structure:
      SIGN(1)   OPTION(2)   LOW LIKE db_field   HIGH LIKE db_field
The OPTION column should contain only one of the following values:
"EQ LE GE CP BT NE LT GT NP NB"
The value 00 is not allowed here.</I></B>
    <BR><BR>
When analyzing the error, I found table MDBS that conatians the Order Qty and GR quantity - so I think I may be able to use this instead.

  • Purchase Order Open quantity calculation.

    Hi All..
I would like your help in finding out the logic behind calculating the open quantity for a given line item of a purchase order.
Iam aware that i should go to the EKBE table to see purchase order history. Can someone tell me what are all the conditions i need to consider to calculate the Open quantity.
Iam able to give a value E to field BEWTP (Purchase Order History Category) in EKBE and for all the recieved records iam adding the quantity for movement type 101 and removing the quantity for movement type 102 that finally gives my total GR qty. Then iam doing Original PO qty - GR qty to get the Open qty.
Let me know if this logic is wrong or else is there any other conditions to consider.
Appreciate your help and will reward.
    THanks.

subtract the PO quantity EKPO-MENGE with the delivery quantity field EKET-GLMNG
    Thanks

  • Production Order Base quantity

Any suggestions please on a work around for a current issue where Bill of Material child items are as below:
    Planned Qty  Item
      200,000      A
                1       B
                1       C
                1       D
Because items B,C,D are all single units the Base qty can't be shown as under Administration Initialization set up the Item Qty  decimal places is set to 3. An error message appears stating that the base qty is required! without changing the decimal places to 5 (which will be irreversible, and will have an impact else where on the system) is there any other work around. As no orders can be produced

    Hi,
I think in BOM you are entering the Base Qty for Finished Goods as 2 00 000 and Base Qty for Components as 1.
Then while doing ProductionOrder it will not allow you to do below 1000 Qty.
If this is the problem, change the Unit of Measurement and then maintain your stock movements.
    For. Eg.
2 00 000 Milli Gram of A required the child item
        Convert it to
        2 Kg of A required ..........................
    Hope this is the problem

  • Basic and scheduling  dates & time calculation in process order creation

    Hi guru's,
i have one requirement, i need to calculate and display the basic and scheduled dates & times based on the given input i.e material , plant , process order type , quantity , UOM and scheduling type ( for corresponding scheduling type user will provide either start date or finish date ) using RFC. can  u plz provide any function module for this purpose or logic for calculating the same  , as i am working on version 4.7ee .
    Awaiting for a quick response.
    Regards,
    Madan

    Dear Rohan,
1.Check the length of break timings defined in the resource that is assigned in the phase.
2.Check in OPUZ whether for the process order type and plant combination whether scheduling is to include the break time also
(whether the check box for scheduling with breaks) is included.
    Check and revert back.

  • BAPI for process order header delivered quantity

    Hi,
current requirement is to get the process order quantity with drawn and delivered quantity , when we try using the BAPI
BAPI_PROCORD_GET_DETAIL , it does not have the process order delivered quantity - it has only total quantity  for which process order is created .
Is there a way or any standard BAPI/RFC gives the below :
    1. Process Order Header Delivered Quantity
    2. Process order component's quantity with drawn
    Regards,
    Madhu Kiran

    Hi Madhu Kiran,
BAPI_PROCORD_GET_DETAIL of course has all the required fields:
    1. --> check table POSITION, field DELIVERED_QUANTITY
    2. --> check table COMPONENT, field WITHDRAWN_QUANTITY

  • Comitted Quantity in Process Order

    Hi PP Gurus,
I have two process orders. Both have been confirmed by T. Code: CORK and delivered in Status.
In one process Order:  At Dates/ Quantities Tab-- Comitted Qty is shown as process order Quantity.
But in another process order: Comitted Quantity is not shown.
can anyone give feedback on why it is so and what is the significance of comitted quantity?
    Thanks in advance.
    Pradeep

    Dear pradeep...
the committment quantity mentioned in Dates/quantities tab depends upon ATP check.
Mr sampath has said it correctly, there must not be any components available while creation of order.
Stock is not available thats why System is not showing the commited quantity.
So first maintain the stocks for all the components
    Cheers...

  • Pocess order - target quantity in cost analysis report

    hi experts ,
i am not getting the target quantity in cost analysis report of header material , though i have made the GR of the process order .
    target quantity is showing zero.
i am getting target quantity of components , sfg used.
    kindly give your inputs.
    reagrds,
    satish

    Dear
First Check the Validity of the standard cost for the header material, It can be seen in ck13n, Dates tab.
Target costs are populated when you do the goods receipt. System will search for the released standard cost estimate and then apply that for each material component. If these 2 conditions are passed, then you will get target cost in order.
Plan cost = Plan qty * std cost estimate
Target Cost = Actual qty * std cost estimate
Actual cost = Actual qty * actual costs
    Eg:
A production order is planned for producing 10 units of a material
Then plan cost on the order = 10 units * std cost
Target costs are calculated once production is confirmed.
Suppose only 9 units were produced out of 10 planned
Then target cost = 9 units * std. costs

  • Total Target Costs not updated in Process Order

    Hi All,
I  have a scenario in a Process Order,
The Process order is Released, Goods Issued and GR done. But the when i go and check the Cost Analysis i did not see anything in the Total Target Costs  and Total Target Qty coloumns agianst all the cost elements. It show as zero for all.
It looks very strange. There is variance in the component issues and GR  as well. I simulated for the same material with a new Process order and found the vales get populated automatically on GI and GR's with variation against requirement quantity.
Could any one explain me why it is so ..? or is my understanding is wrong.....?
Thanks for your time and patience.
    Regards,
    Srinath V

    Srinath Venkatr,
I think you are missing PP CO integration configuration during master data creation. There might be information massage to you during process order creation saying , 'Logs during Cost calculation", you are skipping the same and creating process order withought resolving the same.
Check whether you followed all the steps for product costing.
    Material master,
    BOM,
OPKP:-Controlling area-activate components and Controll indicators
             :- Assignment of co codes
    KS01: Cost center
    KA01/KA06:- Primary/ Secondary Cost elements
    KL01:-Activity Types
    KP26:- Activity Price Planning
Then Work center/Resource- assign these cost center and activities with costing formulas.
    Then Routing/Recepi-
After master data, demand management,MRP- process order. while creating process order check cost calculation errors.
Hopes that will clear your dought
    Tara

  • Changes in process order BOM

    Hello,
I have a problem in process order. In the process order the quantity of one of the BOM item is different than the actual BOM.
I have checked that BOM has not been changed.
How do I find whether it was MRP that has exploded wrongly or there was any manual changes to the planned order or process order.
    We do not have OCM.
    Thanks,
    Rajesh

    Rajesh,
You will only be able to get a clue, whether any manual change is done or not. In the Component overview screen of the order scroll to the right side and check the defination of the Column with heading "<b>Chng Proc</b>." if this is with value <b>"1",</b> it means the order Component has been changed Manually.
Hope this helps....by the way were you on ABB-project couple of years back?

    Prasobh
