Hi,
Confirmed :- Specifies when the material was actually produced (that is, delivered to stock). This date is set automatically by the system.
Confirmed Rel :-Date on which the order was released.
Scheduled :-System determine this date using lead time scheduling that contain the timing from routing. Lead time scheduling is performed using the routing. In this case, it calculates the start and finish dates and times of the operations
and schedule the order.
Basic dates :-
Date on which the required quantity of the material is available (that is, the requirements date of the material).
If, on order creation, a planned order exists for the production order/ process order, the basic dates are copied from the planned order.
If no planned order exists on order creation, you must specify at least one basic date.
The scheduling type determines the basic dates that you must specify.
Hope clear to you.

  • Process Order Type - Doubt

    Dear Experts,
My Client business scenario is Process industry related (Food & Beverages).
They are planned to use Process Order, Master Recipe, Resource with BOM.
So my doubt is "What is the Order type for Process Order and as above scenario".
Note : Can we use Routing & Work Center for Process Order in Process related industries (Repetitive Industry).
I am waiting for your favorable reply & do the needful.
    Regards,
    KBR.

    Bhaskar,
When SAP is delivered Process industry specific features for Process Order, Master Recipe, Resource, etc. why do you would like to go for Routing & Work Center?
An order type covers control information that you need for managing orders. SAP default order types for process industry are PI01, PI02, etc.
How many order types are required would be decided by PP team. This primarily depends on client business scenarios e.g.Normal process/production order, Packaging order, re-process order, etc.
    Thanks & Regards,

  • Purchase order vs planned order vs process order vs production order

    Hi,
Kinldy explain difference between the  Purchase order,  planned order,  process order and production order?
    Thanks & Regards
    Ravi kumar

    Hi Ravi,
    In simple terms:
planned order - A procurement proposal generated by the system to meet a need, this can then be converted to a production / process order (for internal procurement) or into a purchase reqn & in-turn to Purchase order (for external procurement)
Purchase order - A firmed procurement proposal which is sent to your vendor (external procurement) to supply the items as per your order
process order - A firmed procurment proposal which is used for in-house procurement, this is used in process industries eg: chemicals, oil & gas etc
production order - A firmed procurment proposal which is used for in-house procurement, this is used in discrete production industries
Based on the above am quite sure you should be able to figure out the differenced. If any doubts revert.

  • Process Order accepts Confirmation & GR from BAPI even after Confirmed

No matter what i try the formatting and CRLF go for a toss in this text.
    Hi PPPI Gurus,
I am a beginner in this area and request your help.
We are implementing a project where the process order Confirmation in SAP ECC 5.0 in SAP PPPI module is done using xMII which call the BAPI_PROCORD_CREATE_TT     RFC.
The customer wants to (certain times) do a final confirmation without actually completing the order e.g if the Order Qty is 100 then, they want to just manufacture 25 and then do a final confirmation, after which SAP GUI screen does not allow any Process order Confirmations against that process order.
We are using the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TTRFC to do multiple PO Confirmations and GR for particular Process order. Below is a scenario
    Case 1:
    1. Order Qty =100  ( Unlimited Delivery is not checked and tolerance is Zero).
Which means only 100 is accepted.
    2. 100 Quantities are produced and confirmed using the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT (with Final confirmation value as 1 , which mean auto confirmation)
    3. Next when the BAPI confirms & GR's against the same order, the Complete qty is not visible in the COR3 status. And is visible only in the COGI transaction.
That is expected behavior. and i am ok with that.
Case 2: (The one with the problem)
    1.  Order Qty =100  ( Unlimited Delivery is not checked and tolerance is Zero).
Which means only the 100 is accepted.
    2.  25 Quantities are produced and confirmed using BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT (with Final Confirmation value as X , which mean Final confirmation)
    3. The Confirmation and GR go through and the status of the process order now changed is CNF and the Deliverd qty is 25.
At this point , if you logon to SAP GUI and try to make a process order confirmation you get an error messages which says the Process Order is already confirmed and no more confirmations or GR can be done against this Process order.
    4. But when you Again Run the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT, it goes ahead and confirms and makes the GR for that Process order.
The Expected Behavior should have been that this quantity is now in the COGI transaction.
    5. The Process order  allows any number of Further confirmations till the Ordered Qty and Delivered quantity are  same .
so dear gurus I know i have written a very long doubt but would be very happy to get a response from you. I would ideally not like to enhance or change the BAPI and want to understand if I have missed some setting or parameter that I have to pass in the BAPI for the final confirmation so that once the Status of the Process order is CNF , no more Confirmations are allowed even from the BAPI.
    Thanks in Advance.

    Hi,
The standard SAP will allow the GR even after the Final Confirmation. The Final Confirmation is acting as a agent to change the status of the process order to CNF. thats all.
If you want to restrict the GR then you have to do Enhancement with  use the USer Exits. Pleas try to use the User Exits PPC00009 or MBCF0001,MBCF0005

    Suraj

    Hi Suraj,
I am not positive, but I suspectt the problem lies in the BAPI.  It might be how you have the data set in MII, but it sounded like you are doing it correctly.
However there are a number of things you can do to troubleshoot your situation.
First create a few process orders to test with.
Record the confirmation numbers and counters for each of the following:
    1) Do a final confirmation (for quantity of 25 instead of the 100) in CORK (or whichever transaction you are using).
    2) Do a final confirmation (for quantitiy of 25 instead of the 100) in SE37 or BAPI in ERP using the BAPI_PROCORDCONF_CREATE_TT.
    3) Do a final confirmation (for quantitiy of 25 instead of the 100) from MII using your current transaction.
Review the confirmations in ERP to see if there are any differences.
Review the confirmaitons in MII to see if there are any non visible differences (use a Tracer to retrieve the response segment from an execution of BAPI_PROCORDCONF_GETDETAIL using the recorded confirmation numbers and counters)
Case 1) If there are differences in the results, that should tell you how to modify your transaction to include or change the appropriate values in your inputs.
Case 2) If there are no differences, then it is most likely that there is something not working properly in the BAPI you are using.  It may not completely replicate the functionality in CORK (or whichever transaction you are using in ERP).  Then open a ticket, because the BAPI is not working as it should.
    Good luck,
    Mike

  • Final Delivery indicator in Goods Receipt tab in Process Order

    Hello Friends,
I have one doubt, thought to discuss with you.Whats the importance of Final delivery indicator in Process order.I know that if any further goods receipt is not accepted against the order than we should tick this indicator, because of which system sets the DLV status at order header level or if goods receipt qty against the order is equal to order qty than system automatically sets this indicator.
when we do the settlement of order than system looks either for TECO or DLV status of order , if its find  there than system consider such orders for settlement.
Now my question is suppose i have done the Goods Receipt against the order less than the order qty, than system will set the PDLV Status against that order. Now no further goods receipt is  expected against that order. Now i haven't set the Final delivery indicator in goods receipt tab in process order. But i have technically completed the order, because of which system has set the TECO status against that order.
Will system allow me to settle such order?and viceversa, if order has DLV status at header level and no TECO status, than system will allow to settle such order? If yes than whats the other use of Final Delivery indicator in process order? Is it important to set that indicator from settlement point of view only?
As far as i know, system allows us to do,but on this issue i have got different answers from different person. So bit confused.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Dear,
Will system allow me to settle such order?and viceversa, if order has DLV status at header level and no TECO status, than system will allow to settle such order?
    Yes
If yes than whats the other use of Final Delivery indicator in process order? Is it important to set that indicator from settlement point of view only?
You need to Final confirm (CNF) the Order to get the DLV Status.
Or if the Delivery completed indicator is set in the Process Order, then also th System status will be DLV
If your order quantity10 and you produced 10 quantity it means that order is fully deliver  then Final delivery will automatically be set.
The "delivery completed" indicator has the following effects:
o The item is regarded as closed, even if the total quantity was not delivered.
o A further delivery is not expected, may, however, arrive.
If status is DLV then it cannot be a WIP stage where the the good are posted to stock and production is completed
Please refer this thread fro DLV and TECO,

  • WIP&Settlement Process order

    Hi,
We calculate WIP weekly basis and WIP used to credited to a Balance sheet acct and DR to a P&L acct (which is generally NOT a Cost Element )
    Here our Doubt,
WIP was calculating irrespective of Settlement that is we used to see the Doucument (DR and CR ).and can be verified to FS10N,but now some thing went wrong (I checked OKGA and OKG8 they have proper BS and P&L accts) and after calculating WIP the documents are not posted and FS10N shows nothing for that BS and P&L acct.
1)Can we calculate WIP without settling order (DLV or TECO) and get  FI documnet posted ? which we used to get I believe,
    2) what is wrong with our system where we got FI documnets for WIP previously and not getting Now even though we have same BS and P&l accounts in OKG8 ?
    your help greatly appreciated,
    Regards,
    Nikitha

    Thank you Suryanaraya,
YES we calculate WIP on weekly Basis, But Financial statement analysis on Monthly Basis,
Your answer is convincing, But My user is adamant  (in fact he shows the previous documnets posted for WIP) . so can you clarify, for example I calculated WIP (Lets say ,for this month) 2/11,2/14,2/21,2/28 ;;;;;; and , -$100,-$80,-$60,$40  for my Balance sheet  ,Respectively , which shows $0.00 for that Process order as WIP, and we are done totally at the month end  ,so you mean to say I will get 4 documents on Month end (Feb 28) as Document Date 2/11,2/14,2/21,2/28 and Posting Date 2/28 for all 4 when I run Settlement?
OR can I do weekly WIP and Settle order ? to see WIP documnets?
    Please clarify,
    Excuse my ignorance,
    Nikitha

  • List of process order for particular raw material

    Dear PP Gurus,
Suppose we have one raw material said - X and this is used to create finished product A, B, C an D.
Now I would like to know, In particular period how many process order is created for raw material X?
Ex. for one month only 2 process order usind raw material X are created. 1(finished product - A and 2 (finished product- B)
I tried COOISPI but not getting success.
Through MB51 I can get report of process order against which material is issued. (261 is done)
But my basic req. is to know the process order created.
I am from MM side so no much more idea in PP area.As working for SAP support we have to look little bit in PP ara.
    Thanks all
    Rajan

    Hi Rajan,
You can use COOISPI and select Documented Goods Movement and give the Basic Start date range as you want and execute.
You can use filters in Movement types and get your desired result. 261 is for Goods issue of the components and 101 is for Goods Receipt of the header material.
    Hope it clears your doubts.

  • Process Order Details like batch number, mfg date flow to a new process ord

    Hi Experts,
I have a doubt in Process Order.
    I have two stage production.
    1. Blending
    2. Packing
I create a process order for blending and assign a batch number and manufacturing date for Blending operation.
    Release the process order.
Final Confirmation of the process order.
I complete all the process, Goods Reciept is done.
    Technically completed the Process Order.
Now my 1st stage Process order is completed and ready for the 2nd stage production i.e., Packing.
Now I create a new process order,
here I am having the problem that I need to enter all the details like batch number, manufacturing date etc..
I want to avoid this in the 2nd process order.
How to do this i.e., carry forwarding the details of the 1st process order into the 2nd process order.
Is there any setting required at the back end?
I was told about Push operation to rectify the above problem. But I am not clear about that.
Can any one clearly explain about that step- by - step.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Prodcution Scheduling Profile for without material process order

    Hello Gurus,
I am creating process order without material and assigning Production Scheduling Profile in assignment tab. Production Scheduling Profile  has release on creation activated in configure, but when I save process order its not released, it remains as CRTD.
When I am creating process order with material as you know Production Scheduling Profile is copied from material master and when I save process order, its automatically released.
I am assigning same Production Scheduling Profile which I am using for second case listed above.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks
    Bhavesh Patel

    Dear Patel,
I Already told, once , you are in order  screen, system status will set as CRTD, after that if U assigned, the PSP, It won't work,  In case of COR1, material have PSP, If you convert planned order to production, release is triggered in background before the status is created.
    If you have still doubt
Create a order in COR1, When you enter the quantity and start date finish date then release is carried out and the status is set as CRTD
    in CORO
It is not possible to  maintain PSP before entering the qty and Dates
Once U entered the dates, Sytem set the status as created, After you assigna PSP, It won't work

  • Reprocessing of Production order/Process order

    Hi friends,
Can anybody explain me what is reprocessing of production order.
Plz explain me in a step by step manner.
    Thanks very much.
    Kind Regards

    Hi Arun Kumar,
    Reprocessing
    Use
In the area of confirmation, you can separate confirmation entry from processing. As a result, errors may occur when confirmations, or the processes that follow them, are posted. You can eliminate these errors by reprocessing them. The following reprocessing functions are available:
    Confirmations
    Actual costs
    Goods movements
    Reprocessing Confirmations :
    Use
You use this function to process confirmations for which errors occurred as they were being automatically processed. With this function, you can either delete or, if possible, eliminate the errors and post the confirmations again.
Confirmations with errors can arise if they were entered in one of the following ways:
Upload from a PDC system (see Upload)
Online entry ( Fast Entry or Mass Processing)
    Entry via BAPI interface
    Possible errors include:
Order does not exist (for entry via PDC system, BAPI interface)
    Order was locked
    Sequence of time events incorrect
    Individual capacity does not exist
Work center or personnel number does not exist
    Features
    Reprocessing has the following advantages:
    Selection
On the initial screen, you can enter your selection criteria for selecting the confirmations that you want to reprocess. Possible selection criteria are: Production order, plant, confirmation, WBS element, sales order, MRP controller, work center, created by, created on.
    Navigation
The screen for reprocessing confirmations is split into two areas:
    Overview list of the confirmations
Detail screen for the selected confirmation
In the standard setting, the overview list is on the left and the detail display of the confirmation is on the right. To change the position of the overview list, choose  (move the list in an anti-clockwise direction, select the position of the overview list). This last setting is saved for the particular user who created it and is used again the next time the function is called up.
    Reprocessing
The confirmation that you have chosen from the overview (cursor position) is displayed in the detail screen. In the detail screen, you can remove the error in the confirmation.
The following confirmations can be reprocessed:
    Order confirmation
    Operation confirmation
    Time event confirmation
    Activity confirmation
The layout of the detail screen is determined by the confirmation that you are currently processing. The layout can be set up flexibly for an operation confirmation (see Single Screen Entry).
    Display error
To display a long text about the error for each confirmation, position the cursor on the confirmation and choose .
    Check confirmation
You can check one or more confirmations. To check confirmations, select them and choose . In the Status field on the overview list, the result of the check is displayed with a symbol.
    Delete confirmation
If a confirmation is not to be posted because, for example, it has entered the SAP System by mistake, you can delete it. To do this, select the confirmation and choose . The confirmation is flagged for deletion and is deleted when you save.
    Delete a line
To delete confirmations from the overview that you do not want to process at the moment, choose . The confirmation is, however, retained for reprocessing at a later stage.
    2.Cost Determination Error Processing
    Use
You use this function to gather information about errors in cost determination and if necessary to repeat it.
If errors occurred when determining actual costs online, you can decide whether or not the confirmation and the error records are saved. If you are using Decoupling Confirmation Processes, the errors are recorded during the execution of the background job or during updating.
    Features
    This function includes:
An error log which displays the cost determination errors in detail
Errors are, for example: missing activity prices, invalid cost centers or incorrect assignment of an activity type to a cost center.
    Rerunning cost determination
    Starting a New Costing Run
           1.      Choose either
¡        Production orders: Logistics ® Production ®  Shop Floor Control ® Confirmation ® Reprocessing ® Actual Costs

           2.      Enter your selection criteria.
           3.      Choose  (Execute).
           4.      Select the confirmation in question and choose  (Error Log).
    Analyze the errors.

           8.      Choose  (Execute).
           9.      Select the confirmation and choose  (Save).
    Failed Goods Movements Processing :
    Use
This function allows you to process goods movements that failed when posting confirmations. After correcting any errors that occurred, you can then post the goods movements a second time.
    Features
    This function includes:
    Detailed display of errors
Errors can be caused by insufficient information such as missing storage locations or missing batch numbers. Errors can also include locked material data, insufficient stock, or attempts to post goods movements in the wrong accounting period.
Opportunity to correct failed goods movements
Option of posting goods movements a second time
    Reprocessing Goods Movements
           1.      Choose either
¡        Production orders: Logistics ® Production ®  Shop Floor Control ® Confirmation ® Reprocessing ® Goods Movements
¡        Process orders: Logistics ® Production - Process ® Process Order ® Environment ® Material Movement ® Failed Goods Movements.
           2.      Enter your selection criteria:
           3.      Choose  (Execute).
           4.      Select the goods movement that you want to reprocess.
           5.      Choose  (Display Errors) to display the errors that have arisen, in detail. To leave the message, choose  (Continue).
           6.      Select the required goods movements and make the necessary changes (for example, Edit ® Replace ® Storage location).
For example, you can delete incorrect goods movements.
When incorrect goods movements are deleted, the system does not carry out an automatic adjustment of reservations.
           7.      Choose  (Save) to restart the execution of goods movements.
When you are reprocessing the goods movements for the confirmation, you can go to the goods movements overview.  Choose  Change Details, to change the goods movements.
Hope this details is enough for clearing your doubt.

  • Goods Movement for Process Order

    Hi PP Experts.
Is it possible to take goods movement in TECO process order directly.
is there any other possibility for take goods movements in TECO process order?

    Hi,
After TECO you can't do Goods Movements. For carrying out , GOOds Movements you need to revoke TECO in process order as following :
GO to COR2-> Process Order Menu->Functions->Restrict Processing-->Revoke Technical Completion and Save.
After revoking TECO , You can carry out Goods Movements.
    Hope this helps.
    Revert if any doubt.
