Process »translate«

Morning.
What does the process »translate« do? It's a PowerPC process on my Intel machine. Owner of the process is an user, which not is an admin.
TIA and kind regards, Friedrich

Hi,
Owner of the process is an user, which not is an admin.
What is the name of the owner? That may give clues as to what the process belongs to.

  • LVFPGA - Process "Translate" failed

    Hi
    Currently using LVFPGA 2013 SP1
    I'm used to compile my code oftenly, which happens to be necessary when using the FPGA module
    Today, I started to get a "Process "Translate" failed" message in the Xilinx Log while trying to compile. The compilation is not aborted and still running
    Same problems have already been listed here and here, and issue is supposely fixed in LVFPGA 2014 (associated CAR 428544)
    We won't probably change IDE version to 2014
    So that here follow my questions:
    1. Is the compilation process going to generate a working bitfile as this post suggests ?
    2. Any information about the problem (why is it happening?). Couldn't find any helpfull CAR description
    3. What elements in the code I'm trying to compile may lead to the compilation to fail/take that much time ? Any recommendation/workaround ?
    Thanks for help

    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    As a follow-up, in case someone ends up reading this post, with a similar issue
    It happens that the previously listed CAR is linked to FIFOs. I have no FIFO in my code, so that my problem is not linked to this CAR.Compiling in LV 2014 still shows the same message
    There are several translate processes within the same Xilinx compile process. First one may fail, but the second one should be successfull. This is expected; the compile process is behaving as expected.
    We still can't explain why my code took 4 hours to execute once, whereas it only takes 1 to 2 hours now

  • Has anyone got the 850 4010 I/B EDI file processed & translated via B2B?

    Has anyone successfully translated an inbound EDI 850 4010 file via B2B?
    We are using 11.1.1.4 weblogic, B2B Document Editor 6.6.0.2801
    Eventually, it needs to be integrated to SOA
    For us, it is failing on the console with B2B-50037: B2B inbound message processing error & SOA diagnostic log has the following errors:
    oracle.mds.core.MetadataNotFoundException: MDS-00013: no metadata found for metadata object "/soa/b2b/EDI_X12/4010/850/New/Seeded_850_4010.ecs
    B2B-50025: Repository error      at oracle.tip.b2b.mds.QueryManager.getBlob(QueryManager.java:2904)

    Seems your B2B repository has got corrupted. You are using older version of B2B Document Editor but it will not cause this issue.
    Take an export of your B2B repository, purge the design time repository and re-import it again. Deploy the agreement and test again.

  • Why does Process 'Translate' keep crashing every 12 seconds?

    Hi folks
    I have an errant process called 'translate' (note: not 'translated') which appears to be part of Rosetta. It resides in usr/libexec/oah. In my case it crashes every 12 seconds (not eleven, not thirteen). I have a rather large crash log for translate (360mb). So my question is
    How do I stop translate from crashing every 12 seconds? Or at all?

  • BPM 7.2, process translation guide

    Good day!
    I'm creating a process in BPM 7.2 and as I can see there is a feature to translate processes by using xlf files. But I was failed to find any documents elaborates the procedure of translation... If anybody have done that task I would be really appreciate the help.

    Hi Kirill,
    The official documentation about this feature will be avaialbale on the help portal with the SP02 release of 7.20, in the beginnig of March.
    In the meantime, you can follow this procedure to be able to translate language specific attributes (the formatting is lost, unfortunately):
    Translating Language-Specific Attributes in BPM
    When you model a process, language-specific content is automatically stored in a resource file. For different types of elements containing text, a corresponding resource file is created. These files are of S2X format and use the XLF file extension. To edit XLF files, you use the S2X editor in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
    In SAP NetWeaver Business Process Management (BPM) translation is supported for the following elements:
    Element
    XLF File
    Located in Node
    Process
    <process name>.bpmn.xlf
    bpmn
    Task
    <task name>.task.xlf
    tasks
    Function
    <function name>.function.xlf
    functions
    Ruleset/Flow Ruleset
    <ruleset/flow ruleset name>.function.xlf
    functions
    Event Trigger
    <event trigger name>.eventdef.xlf
    triggers
    Reporting Data Source
    <reporting data source name>.eventdef.xlf
    reporting
    You have to translate only attributes that are flagged with yes in the Translate column of the S2X editor.
    The XLF files contain the texts in the language that you determined when you created the Process Composer project. For every language version other than this original language, you create a copy of the XLF file and enter the language-specific translations. Languages other than the original language are referred to as source languages.
    Translated texts are included in the build when you build your project and are displayed at runtime after you deploy the project to the application server. For example, you can see translated task attributes when you log into the Universal Worklist (UWL) to execute a task. Displaying the translated text depends on the language defined for the user with which you log into the UWL.
    If no translation is available, the task is displayed in the original language.
    Prerequisites
    You have created a Process Composer project and elements containing language-specific attributes.
    You have opened the Process Development perspective in the Developer Studio and have expanded your project in the Project Explorer view.
    Procedure
    Expand the src node and then expand the corresponding node containing the XLF file you want to translate.
    Copy the XLF file within its node.
    Number of copies depends on the number of languages you want to translate to.
    Add an underscore (_) and the corresponding two-character language code according to ISO standard to the name of a copied XLF file before the XLF extension.
    Example
    The name of the original process attributes XLF file is MyProcess.bpmn.xlf and you want to translate the attributes to German. You add an underscore (_) and de, which is the language code for German. The result is a file named MyProcess.bpmn_de.xlf.
    End of the example.
    In the context menu of the language-specific file, choose  Open With  S2X Document Editor .
    On the Header tab page, select a source language from the Source Language dropdown list.
    On the Resource Text tab page, select an entry relevant for translation and choose the Edit pushbutton.
    Enter the required translation and choose the OK pushbutton.
    Save, build, and deploy your project.

  • FAGL_FC_TRANS not processing translation as expected

    Ran transaltion process where local currency is GBP and group currency is USD. The result of the translation of the balances is expected to be posted to the translated account itself. But the process fails asking for an adjustment account. has anyone figured this out?
    Thanks

    In the account determination for Translation configuration screen, I left the field adjustment account blank and assigned the val1 gain and loss account to the CTA account. The message I get when I ran the translation process is I don't have adjustment account setup. But I want the exchange rate diff to go to the same account like valuation.
    Thanks

  • Rogue process : Translator

    I have a process that shows in Activity Monitor called Translator that is eating 20% CPU. It started after I installed iWork '09 trial which required 10.5.6. Anyone know what this process is? If I kill it, it comes back within minutes and I experience about one kernel panic per day since I started noticing it.
    Thoughts?

    I've been having a similar issue which has been very annoying since the Translator process causes the fans to fun constantly and my machine to drag a little. It's been going on since before I installed iWork '09, so wouldn't expect to to be related (especially since one of the other posts indicates that it's Rosetta related). I have not had any kernel panic issues that seem to be related to this - mainly annoying fans. Would really like to see this sorted out...

    We need to define our internal Import Process of row materials

    There is also the reality that the product reaches the

  • "Translator" process is hogging CPU, causing crashes - what is it?

    So in the past few weeks, my machine has seemed slower and slower each day. In the past week, my mouse will jump across my 2 screens erratically. I thought it was either the mouse or USB port so tried different configurations until it occurred to me that, on random days, after a random startup; all is well.
    I popped open the Activity Monitor and now can confirm my problem. My machine works great when the process "Translator" behaves itself. Every time I get the erratic mouse, slow window response and (every time) an eventual freezing of my screen requiring forced restart - Translator is hogging all my CPU. If I sample it, my machine crashes to a freeze. It I get more info on it, I can see that Translator has to do with syncservices (why do so many problems on 10.5 have to do with syncservices?). I have tried Googling for more info on it, but there doesn't seem to be anything out there. If I force quit it (standard quit doesn't work), my system will hang.
    Does anyone know what this is and how to fix my problem?
    I know the standard next steps (create a new user account and migrate files sans ~/Library, re-install OS, etc.) but am afraid that the problem will resurface if ties to syncservices (I do use Mobileme to sync, have an iPhone and an iPod). I guess I'm looking for more info before proceeding with drastic and time intensive measures that may very well yield the same problem despite the effort.
    Any help would be very much appreciated. It is worth noting that it took 5 full minutes for me to correct my spelling in this post due to the erratic mouse. Good times. I am off to restart - again.
    "Translator" is process ID 1027 running under my user account.

    So by removing the Exchange sync for my Address Book prefs, I was able to completely clear-up the problem. That link to opendns was VERY VERY interesting. I looked at my routing tables and indeed, they hijack google DNS entries and cause all sorts of havoc as a consequence. As junky as my ISP's DNS service is (RoadRunner/Time Warner in SoCal), I believe I will switch back to them as I find I don't get the original problem, with Exchange enabled, when using their DNS instead of opendns.
    What a mess and my thanks for the quick eye (I am going to mark your post as the solution for me)! I can't say that I am certain whether this is solely an opendns issue or if it is an issue with Exchange sync on the Mac, separate from opendns; however I am in a position where I don't really require either so both disabling Exchange and removing opendns are acceptable to me. Hopefully both Apple (exchange support - possibly fixed in Snow Leopard?) and OpenDNS (the idiot idea to re-route google dns) address their issues and can use issues such as mine to replicate the problem.
    How would a home user with either little desire or knowledge ever diagnose an issue such as this? For every person like me, there has to be 10 who would believe their mouse needs replacing, then take it to the shop after that doesn't work, then get a new machine, etc. An entire sub-economy seeded by a simple software-based issue.

  • 10.5.7 Translator and mds processes running at 100%

    Hi,
    Since 10.5.7 installation I've had a couple processes that decide to operate at high CPU load with no apparent cause. With no applications running I've had Translator and or mds operate at 100% CPU load, making most other operations impossible.
    I am aware that mds is linked to Spotlight and placing my system disk into the Spotlight privacy list seems to temporarily solve the mds problem. However, the Translator issue is different. Once it starts drawing high CPU load it will not stop. I've tried to quit the process and it leads to a OS freeze. With or without trying to quit it, it leads to having to do a hard reset as soft resetting or shut down is also frozen.
    I first installed 10.5.7 from software update. After seeing issues I tried other's suggestions to use the combo update. This seemed to work momentarily, until the same issues started popping up again. Anyone have similar issues? I don't think I'm the only one ... I hope!

    Translator is linked to the Address Book and sync services with MobileMe... I've had it crashing since 10.5.5 Doesn't seem to actually do anything as all my data is synced correctly. Go figure! Here're a couple of lines from this morning's system log.

  • Translat.ini File

    We are upgrading RP11.3 to RP11.5. We have a number of custom rules that have been merged into 11.5 batch system. The issue we are having is that after we merged our custom error messages for our custom rules into the translate.ini file, the system is not recognizing our entries. It seems that the 11.5 system is pulling these error messages from another file.
    How can we get the system to recognize our custom errors messages in translate.ini that we have created and used in past version of Documaker.

    Under 11.5, Documaker uses Oracle's globalization standards for messaging. The translat.ini file isn't strictly used at runtime, rather, a compiled binary version that is language-specific is used instead. To generate the compiled binary version, there are some steps to be followed.
    The first thing you will need is the LMSGEN utility from Oracle's NLSRTL package. Currently this is distributed with Oracle database SDKs. I don't have any more specific information than that right now. Here is a bit more info on this utility http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B19306_01/server.102/b14225/ch10oci.htm#i1007610
    Once you have LMSGEN installed and ready, you need to convert your translat.ini into an intermediary MSG and MMP files. You can create a script that will translate your translat.ini file and create these files for you. It's a relatively simple process:
    Translat.ini lines:
    1000 = &E&: Error: Requested library <&LIB&> not available or cannot be loaded.
    1001 = &E&: Error: Use of rule or function <&NAME&> requires a printer classification of <&CLASS&>.
    Translat.msg:
    #CHARACTER_SET_NAME=AMERICAN_AMERICA.US7ASCII
    1000, 42, "%1: Error: Requested library <%2> not available or cannot be loaded."
    1001, 42, "%1: Error: Use of rule or function <%2> requires a printer classification of <%3>."
    Translat.mmp:
    1000:E,LIB,
    1001:E,NAME,CLASS,
    The MMP file is a token/parameter mapping file, since the old translat.ini uses tokens, and Oracle's globalization framework uses parameters. Note the top line in the translat.msg file -- this is required!
    The format of the INI file:
    msgNumber = &TOKEN&: Message with &TOKEN&
    The format of the MSG file:
    msgNumber, msgType [42=Error,0=Info], "Message with %1 parms"
    Format of the MMP file:
    msgNumber:TOKEN1,TOKENn,...,
    Once you have the MSG file, then use the LMSGEN utility from Oracle's NLSRTL package to converts that into an MSB file. The MSB file is a compiled binary version of the message file, and this is what is used to generate the actual messages. There will be a different MSG file for each language your system should support. In addition, the MSB files are platform dependent and must be compiled on the platform where they are intended to be used.
    One thing to keep in mind when running it is that Oracle's messaging libraries are built around the notion of each product having its own separate directory under the Oracle home directory (identified by the ORACLE_HOME environment variable). Each product may in turn have its own separate component or "facility" with its own set of message files. Oracle manages this by having a separate directory under ORACLE_HOME for each product, and then a "mesg" directory under that where the message files for every component are placed. When you run the lmsgen utility, it already expects there to be an Oracle base directory and an ORACLE_HOME environment variable that points to it. In addition it expects there to be a sub-directory for the product under the Oracle directory, and a "mesg" subdirectory under the product directory. When you run the lmsgen routine, it expects you to give it the name of the msg file, the name of the product, and the name of the facility. It uses the product name to locate the "mesg" subdirectory, and it uses the "facility" name as the base name of the msb file that it generates (the filename is suffixed by the language). So, to run lmsgen you will need to have a directory which has some directory underneath with a "mesg" directory under it. So for example (assuming you don't have Oracle code already installed somewhere) you could do the following:
    mkdir C:\Documaker\mesg
    set ORACLE_HOME=C:\
    lmsgen translat.msg Documaker xlt
    and lmsgen would write a file name "xltus.msb" to the "C:\Documaker\mesg" directory. (The msg file has a code in the first line identifying the language that it is written in, which is how it knows to name it with a suffix of "us". Documaker currently doesn't use the "ORACLE_HOME" method of locating the file, but as far as I know, you do need to have an ORACLE_HOME defined to run lmsgen.exe.
    Since we don't use the ORACLE_HOME method, you would need to provide command-line options to override input and output paths.
    lmsgen translat.msg Documaker xlt us -i .\ -o .\
    The -i identifies the input directory to location the MSG file. The -o indicates the output directory to use as a destination for the compiled MSB file.
    Finally, move the MSB and MMP file to the \dll\lang folder inside your Documaker installation.

    1.0     Functional Spec Header
    1.1     Business Requirement
    The management structure for reporting is currently maintained in Hyperion by the Financial Analysis and Planning group.  This management structure is critical throughout Cessna for managing the business.  The interface is needed to download the management structure hierarchy from Hyperion and load to SAP as a cost center group.
    1.2     Purpose/Objectives/Reason for Need
    The purpose of this interface is to ensure the management structure in SAP remains in sync with the management structure in Hyperion.  This interface will eliminate the need for manual changes to both Hyperion and SAP and also reduces the chance for error to occur when both systems are updated.  This interface will save time when making changes to the management structure.
    There is no record retention requirement for the management structure in Hyperion.
    1.3     Assumptions
    The management structure for reporting will managed by Financial Analysis and Planning and a process will be in place to coordinate changes to the structure.  This interface will be run automatically daily.
    1.4     Alternatives
    If the interface doesn’t exist, then changes to the management structure in Hyperion and SAP will have to be done separately and manually in both systems.  This will increase the chance of error that could result in the management structure being different in Hyperion and SAP causing confusion and unnecessary reconciliations.

    The source data for the management structure is maintained in Hyperion.  Currently, the management structure data is extracted from Hyperion using a XML file.  A XML file can be utilized to upload the structure into SAP as cost center groups.  John Shelton (phone 316-517-4260) and Mike LaBarge (phone 316-517-3887) are the SME’s for the Hyperion management structure.  The file will be stored in a format and location so the interface in SAP can run to check for the file.  If an updated file is found the interface will execute and update SAP.  If no file or an old file is found, the interface will not execute.
    [Electronic text and picture of source system as it pertains to requested interface/conversion, including details.]
    3.3.2     Translation
    The entire management structure hierarchy should be loaded into SAP overwriting whatever previously existed in the cost center groups.  The cost center group should contain all active cost centers.  There are additional alias fields in Hyperion which can be populated with the cost center group name.  The field length for cost center groups in SAP is 10 and group name will always start with CM_. This can also be downloaded to excel in addition to the management level name with will become the cost center group description field in SAP.  Management levels 3, 4, and 5 in Hyperion will be loaded as cost center groups in SAP.  There is a relationship between each of these management levels:
    Hierarchy for Management Structure:
               Management Level 3
                         Management Level 4
                                  Management Level 5
    Level 3 is the top level. Level 4 is linked to 3 and level 5 is linked to 4.
    An email should be automatically generated when the update has run and should be sent to the assigned Finance group responsible for the SAP management structure regardless of error status.
    [Electronic text and picture of translation steps, including if/case logic, authority checks and runtime issues.  A good way to show this is with flow charts or dummied up screen shots, including arrows and text to tell the story.]
    3.3.3     Target
    Daily the interface should check for a file to upload to SAP.  If no file or an existing file is found, the interface will stop processing.  If a new file is found the interface should execute and update the cost center group in SAP.  The cost center group name will not change (CM_MGTHIER).  The new file should overwrite the existing hierarchy in SAP.  This cost center group should contain all active cost centers in SAP and no cost center can appear more then once in the structure.  To validate this logic a completeness and ambiguity check should be completed after the management structure is loaded into SAP.
    The completeness check in SAP is a feature in the standard transaction that will check all the cost centers assigned to the group against the active cost centers in master data table in SAP, (Table CSKS, Field KOSTL).
    The ambiguity check is a feature in the standard transaction that will check for duplicate records in the hierarchy.   This could be either the group name, or the cost center value.  It returns a report of the results and the user can manually adjust the cost center group to remove the ambiguity inconsistencies.  This program should be used when the interface loads a new management cost center group.  The hierarchy structure will need to be locked while the update is running.
    The function module K_HIERARCHY_TABLES_READ in SAP maintains the parent / child relationships of cost center groups, sub-groups, and cost centers.  This functional module can be utilized when loading the hierarchy data from the Hyperion extract file.
    There are also a few BAPI’s available for loading the hierarchy;
    BAPI_COSTCENTERGROUP_ADDNODE
    BAPI_COSTCENTERGROUP_CREATE
    BAPI_COSTCENTERGROUP_GETDETAIL
    BAPI_COSTCENTERGROUP_GETLIST
    The following IDOC’s  can also be used for loading the hierarchy;
    IDOC_INPUT_COSTCENTERGROUP_ADD
    IDOC_INPUT_COSTCENTERGROUP_CRE
    The technical decision for how to load the hierarchy will come from the technical team.  The Functional Modules, BAPI’s, and IDOC’s mentioned above are for reference and can evaluated during the development of the technical spec.
    Example of SAP Cost Center Group Hierarchy:
    Ambiguity and Completeness Check:
    Transaction code KSH1.  Enter cost center group name in field and follow menu path: extras> check and help functions
    [Electronic text and picture of target system as it pertains to requested interface/conversion, including details.]
    3.3.4     Example Data
    [Demo of example data moving thru each step of processing, including usual, exception and error cases.]
    3.3.5     Error Handling
    The detail log should state the following:
         Number of records converted successfully
         Number of records sent to the error report
         Details of the errors – what caused the errors?
    If the completion check finds missing cost centers, or the ambiguity check finds duplicate records and an email should be sent to a group defined by Finance for the given error conditions.  These issues can be researched and corrected by a user with access to create/maintain cost center groups.
    If there is an error in processing the file (i.e. IDOC error), the interface should stop and return an error message to be researched by a technical resource who monitors interface activity.
    There are no required fields or conditional inputs when creating cost center groups.  If the file is formatted correctly the interface should process without incident.  Errors that occur because of duplicate or missing records can be addressed through ambiguity and completeness checks and be corrected by a user with access to the standard transaction.
    An email should be automatically generated when the update has run and should be sent to the assigned Finance group responsible for the SAP management structure regardless of error status.
    [FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis) on possible run conditions and how to address them.]

    Document Name     Location
    Field mapping file     Hierarchy data is not maintained in a table in SAP.  The functional module K_HIERARCHY_TABLES_READ maintains the relationships of the group including the hierarchy level and parent/child relationship.
    Unit Test Plan     There are approximately 1,000 active cost centers at Cessna.   The Unit Test plan can send a sample of the data, (one or two nodes and associated cost centers).  The full file is available and can used for a more robust unit test.

    5.3.1     Source/Middleware/Target (WBI/Middleware Technical Implementation Details)
    WBI will call the BAPI (RFC function module) from middle ware and populates the data into BAPI.
              Interface Overview
                   This section describes the detailed interface design with all the required information regarding the source
                   system, WBI Components and the destination application of the FIN0116 Hyperion Mgmt Structure to SAP
                   The FIN0116 Hyperion Mgmt Structure to SAP integrates management structure data from the source
                   system (Hyperion) to the target system (SAP) in near real-time. This section describes detailed information
                   regarding the WBI Components and its Connectivity.
              Interface Assumptions
    1.     Hyperion mgmt structure XML file will be placed in the directory where WBI have access to read and archive.
    2.     WBI (Middleware) is going to have FTP get access and FTP service account to the Hyperion File System.
    3.     All Hyperion XML files placed in the directory are going to have unique file name (Ex: HyperionFile_MMDDYYYY.xml)
            Interface E2E Flow
    Step 1
    Hyperion mgmt structure XML data file will be placed in E:\Hyperion\SAP\Event directory on Hyperion Server..
    Step 2
    The CES_FIN01_JText_POLConnector will be polling on the E:\Hyperion\SAP\Event directory, which resides on Hyperion file system; whenever there is a new file in the directory, the connector will process that file to WBI Server and Archive file to E:\Hyperion\SAP\Archive directory.
    Step 3
    The CES_FIN01_JText_POLConnector will send the XML document to Interchange server (WBI).
    Step 4
    Interchange Server (WBI) will process the XML data and map the Hyperion Mgmt data to SAP BAPI. WBI will send the SAP BAPI formatted mgmt structure data to ASD_CES_SAPFIN1_UPRConnector Agent.
    Step 5
    The ASD_CES_SAPFIN1_UPRConnector Agent will call ZC_BAPI_COSTCENTERGRP_MANGMNT and pass mgmt data to it.
    Step 6
    Interchange server (WBI) will receive a response from SAP application and the response can be either a success or a failure/Error.
    Step 7
    If the transaction is success, do nothing end success the process.
    Step 8
    If the transaction is failed in SAP, SAP will send the return object to WBI server.
    If error information received from SAP via return object or the transaction is failed in WBI (Middleware), WBI is going to send an error email notification to business email distribution list.
        WBI Components
         Please refer the attached interface spread sheet.
        Interface Mapping Document
       Please refer section 4.0 for mapping document.
         Error Handling and Logging
              Successful Transactions:-
          Once WBI receives a success return code from SAP, WBI will end the transaction as End Success.
    System Failure Transactions:-
    Step 1     Any ICS component is down on production server.
    Business Process/Data Failure Transactions:-
    Step 1     Error while executing Collaboration (Business Logic) or Mapping of Lawson data to SAP format
    WBI will send an Email Notification to Business Email Distribution List.
    Step 2     WBI Received a TYPE = W or E from SAP in return structure.
    SAP system should be able to raise an error and send an email to Business Email Distribution List
    SAP SAMPLE RETURN OBJECT STRUCTURE To WBI:-
    sap_return = 1
    TYPE = S
    ID = MM
    NUMBER = 90104
    MESSAGE = The Cost Center Group 90104 has been successfully created
    LOG_NO = CxBlank
    LOG_MSG_NO = 000000
    MESSAGE_V1 =
    MESSAGE_V2 = CxBlank
    MESSAGE_V3 = CxBlank
    MESSAGE_V4 = CxBlank
    PARAMETER = CxBlank
    ROW = 0
    FIELD = CxBlank
    SYSTEM = SD6CLINT223
    ObjectEventId = CxIgnore
    From the return object for the field “TYPE” the following are the possible values that SAP is returning.
    Type     Meaning
    S     Success
    I     Information
    W     Warning
    E     Error
    For all Warning or Error messages received from SAP, WBI needs to send an Email notification to the Email distribution List mentioned in Section bellow.

      WBI Performance Considerations
        Collaboration General Properties
    Property Name     Value     Notes
    Maximum number of concurrent events     1     The GBO size is going be huge for this collaboration, so we want it to process 1 at a time, to minimize the use of system resources.
    Recovery Mode     Deferred     By setting the Recovery Mode to ‘Deferred’, it will increase the ICS performance and reduce the ICS startup time. For more questions, please refer WBI documentation.
    Max Event Capacity     1     We don’t want this collaboration to process more than 1 event at any given time, so we set this value to 1.
    CES_FIN01_JText_POL Connector Properties
    Property Name     Value     Notes
    AgentConnections     1     It is a system default value, and for daily batch process interfaces, don’t need more than 1 agent connections
    ConcurrentEventTriggeredFlows     4     As of now this connector will be used by 4 interfaces.
    ControllerEventSequencing     true     This is a default and not much of a use for this interface
    Max Event Capacity     8     To give buffer to the connector, we just doubled the ConcurrentEventTriggerFlows.
    Poll Frequency     10000     As of now, we defined this parameter to poll every 10 sec, once we move the interface to production we can change the Poll Frequency to 10 min or 30 min depends on the requirement.
    Poll Quantity     3     Though we define Poll Quantity to 3, we are not expecting more than 1 at anytime.
    JvmMinHeapSize     1m     System Default, need to be tuned based on interface performance.
    JvmMaxHeapSize     256m     System Default, need to be tuned based on interface performance.
    JvmMaxNativeStackSize     128k     System Default, need to be tuned based on interface performance.
    ASD_CES SAPFIN1UPR Connector Properties
    Property Name     Value     Notes
    AgentConnections     1     It is a system default value, and for daily batch process interfaces, don’t need more than 1 agent connections
    ControllerStoreAndForwardMode     true     By setting this value to true, if the SAP connector agent to SAP is down, then the transaction will wait until the agent is restored and once it restored, connector will successfully complete the transaction

  • Problem with accentuated characters in XLIFF file (no problem anymore)

    Sorry, the following turned out to be a non-problem. XLIFF editor understands accentuated characters in the translation file very well :o)
    I am trying to translate an APEX v 2.2 application from french to german.
    Generated xlf file header reads:
    <file original="f101_102_fr-ch_de.xlf" source-language="fr-ch" target-language="de" datatype="html">
    All french diacritical characters in the file are replaced by something like é. Something similar happens when one exports CSV file to Excel with Automatic CSV Encoding set to "No".
    Application main language can be swiss french (fr-ch) or french french (fr), with the same result.
    Application Language Derived From is "Use application primary language"
    Automatic CSV Encoding is set to "Yes".
    Is there a possibility to export non-english characters correctly?
    Thank you.

    Well... In a way, it was my fault. I have created xliff file and looked at its contents using CodeWright text editor. Using CW's regular expressions and macros, one could process translation fairly easily.
    However, in this file foreign characters are scrambled (=> my post).
    Then, I decided to install and try XLIFF editor. The one recomended by SUN handled all diacritical characters nicely.
    So, as long as I don't try to proceed to direct translation of the xlf file, but through XLIFFF editor, I don't have to worry about french and german accents. At least, I hope so (I still have to import the german translation to be sure).
