Prod order quantity change

Dear All,
The users at my client side are playing tricks with SAP. In the customization the order release is not allowed if the material shortage exists. The users are releasing the order by changing the qty of production order (to the available qty) and after release again changing the order quantity.
I can restrict the users by status profile for doing this. But I can not use this because of limitations in the number of user IDs.
What I want is that after changing of production order quantity the status of the order should again become CRTD.
Is it possible? Can anyone please tell me the path to do this.

What I want is that the status of the order should revert back to CRTD which by any means is not possible.
The availability can be checked each time while creating / releasing order but a released status of the order can not be reverted back.

I create production order interactively through co08 ( prod order with respect to sales order). the prod order automatically picks up the quantity in the sales order which is desired, but this order quantity field in the prod order is editable (i.e can be made higher or lower). Please how do I restrict this prod order quantity from being higher than the sales order quantity?i mean what should be done to make system disallow the prod order qty being fixed higher than thesales order qty?

Even though you create the production in refernce to the SO, the order quantity can be alter.
This is a normal behaviour of the system.
To restrict any change in the order quantity, you can use tarnsaction variant for CO08. T code is SHD0.
Secondly you can use the following enhancements to restrict the same,
PPCO0006
PPCO0007

Delivery Order Quantity Change

Hi ,
I seem to be facing a very strange problem where in i am unable to change the delivery Order Quantity (lips_lfimg) in the Customer Exit MV50AFZ1 for VL01N Tcode.
I am trying to change the Quantity in the Subroutine USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT_PREPARE.
I do not know if the system does not allow you to change the Quantity .
I checked all the threads available but none of then seem to be helping me out on this.
Has anyone ever tried updating the Quantity in VL01N Tcode . If yes pls help me as to where the code should be written for the same.
Presently working on an 4.7 SAP system.

Check Delivery Qty change at the creation and change of Delivery
Update all the fields as said.

Production order quantity changes

how can i trace it.please explain the steps to follow.

Production order Changes can be traced only using OCM - Order Change Management.
So you have to activate Order Change Management,Check these links

Order Quantity Change After Delivery

The Scenerio is like this
I m using order related billing now the user had made the delivery of the order and billing document is also created now if i go back into the order and change the already delivered qty system is allowing this change but also displaying the Message the Delivery of this much qty has been done
I want to make this message an error message so that the users cant change the already delivered qty
Delivery of 15.00 CRT has already been made for item 000010
Message no. V4096
this is system Message

Go to T.Code OVAH .
And check your message V4 096,,and enter "E" in the last column.

Changing prod order quantity no update of component qty (during convertion)

Hello everybody,
I would like to ask you if someone has already founded following problem :
I converted a planned order into a production order and, before to save it, I changed the production order header quantity. In this particular conditions the system doesn't udate the component quantity also after the order is saved ! The result is to have not the same proportion as in BOM. I have no founded any OSS note. Have anyone of you founded this kind of problem ?
Is it a SAP std behavior ?

Salvatore-
Standard would be, that if you change the header quantity in the production order, it will update the components quantity too. I don't see a reason why it is not updating the component quantity.

Purchase Order Quantity Changes

Hi All,
We are facing probelms with Purchase Order Line item quanities changes in SAP. In our System, we PO Line items quanities are changed by Adim ID. There are no job logs in SAP. But in CDHDR table, we are getting Admin ID as changed by ID. Generally we are using this ID for batch Job execution.
We checked in System but we couldn't find any batch job. So could you please let us know the possible ways to change PO quantities in mass processing (Program Name/ or other )

Use the T code MEMASSPO - Mass Maintenance
and select the purchase order item and MASSEKPO-MENGE
and execute using the all teh po whioch you want to change

Where do I see changes done in production order.
Suppose I realesed Prod.order with quantity 20 unit.if other user do Read PP master data & change quantity & delete one BOM component. Like that whatever changes takes place in order which how can we find which user change which data in production order.

You have chosen the function Release package.
System Response
When you do this, the system sets the Technical release indicator.
Procedure
You receive this warning message because you cannot make any further object changes to a change package that has been technically released.
Only choose the Release package function if you have completed all object changes with reference to this change package.
Even then after enter I can not realese change number. realese indicator grey out.

WM-production order-need change the open quantity in Transfer order

Hi Dinesh,
TO for partial qty is possible.
When you are doing material staging with 319 mov.type, you create a transfer order for partial quantity as follows:
You first create a manual transfer order using transaction LT04.
You specify the TR number in the intial screen and navigate to the detail screen, system shows the Open TR quantity and the proposed TO quantity. By default, both these quantities are equal to the TR quantity.
However, when you create by clicing the "Create TO button" (the icon with a plus sign in the tool bar of LT04 screen), system takes you to another screen where it asks for the "Requested Qty" on the top of the screen. Here you can modify the qty as per your requirement; then you can check and confirm the storage type and storage bin for source and destination stocks & save.
It is important that you give the correct source storage type & storage bin that is having stock or otherwise system might give error message.
System will create a TO line item with the entered qty and propose the balance TR qty as the 2nd TO line item. You can skip this 2nd TO item or delete it from the TO.
Once again, if you click the Save button, system will save the TO with the partial quantity.
The balance quantity will be available in the TR as open quantity and this can be seen in the header data of transaction LB03.

Changing of production order quantity not allowed

Dear Gurus
My client is converting production order from planned order .These planned orders have been generated from sales orders during mrp run. What my; client wants is that the production order quantity generated from the planned orders nobody can change that in either co02 or in co01. How can this be possible?

Unable to change the order quantity value during save of sales order

Hi Experts,
There is a need to change the order quantity value, based on some conditions, when pressed 'ENTER' or during 'SAVE' of the sales order (VA01, VA02).
We are trying to change the order quantity value (KWMENG) in table XVBAP in the subroutines userexit_field_modification, userexit_save_document and userexit_save_document_prepare of the user exit 'MV45AFZZ'. But the change is not replicated to field on GUI.
The order quantity value can be changed in subroutine 'userexit_move_field_to_vbap', but the subroutine is not getting triggered when user changes only the order quantity on screen.
Please help us in resolving this issue.

Thanks for your time guys. The issue is resolved.
SAP is not triggering the vbap user exit as the order quantity on screen is in structure RV45A.
There are two ways of resolving the issue.
1. Implement the SAP note #513342 - Quantity change and USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP. But, it is SAP modification note.
2. Write the code in VBEP exit of MV45AFZZ. This user exit is called whenever the order quantity is changed. But, it is called multiple times in some cases. Hence, need to write code to limit our code execution only once e.g. maintain a global table with our quantity & uom. Check when the quantity and uom in our table is same as quantity on screen. If not, exit from user-exit.

How to change Service order quantity using BAPI/FM

Hi All,
Can any body tell me how to change the Service Order quantity (in IW32) using a FM or a BAPI.
I tried using the BAPI: BAPI_ALM_ORDER_MAINTAIN but I am unable to change the quantity. May be I might be missing some parameter. If anybody has done this please let me know the parameters that needs to be passed or if there is any other way out.

You can use this user exits in program MV45AFZZ.
USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP
USEREXIT_SAVE_DOCUMENT
and change internal table XVBAP.

In this case you should use the message PORDCH and BAPI method BAPI_PO_CHANGE but only exist as of release 4.7.
