PRODUCT NO-lAPTOP J6L69PA Want to Replace Immediately

Dear Customer Executive,
This is to inform you that, my new laptop (model no-15-r036TU, product no- J6L69PA, serial no- [Edited for Personal Information]) purchased on 09/07/2014 from Pinnacle Infotech, Durgapur has been stoped working from 18/07/2014. The system was suddenly black out in running condition,it seems the system is dead.
We have reported the problem to Pinnacle Infotech HP service centre on 19/07/2014.  After verification they have informed us on 28/07/2014 that, they didn't find any problem as now the system is working normally. Being a techniquecal person i understood the problem is with the BIOS memory, your service centre executive has agreed and informed that the BIOS memory was drain out and the system is ready to deliver.
But unfortunately  I knew very well , once the bias memory is choked this will definately repeate in future. As the BIOS is the heart of the system, I don't want to compromise any problem  occured in the BIOS with  a 10 days old hp laptop. I have refused to accept the system and coplain is registered(reference id.4733306716).
Therefore, I want immediate replacement of my laptop, and I expect a truly positive response from your side.
Thanking you,
Dodul

  • I have an ipad, and want into replace my laptop with it. Is there a way of running iTunes from my ipad to allow me to put music onto my old ipad classic without the need for a computer.

Please help me on this issue. I have the latest full size ipad with retina display and want to replace my old hp laptop with it. I currently run an iPod classic and nano from the iTunes on it, but i want to run them off my ipad. Is this possible.

The iPad is not a computer, it cannot replace one, and it cannot sync music or media to other devices.
You need to keep a computer around if you want  to sync ther Classic and Nano. It may also be useful if you ever need to backup the iPad in case a restore is necessarry.

  • G6 1c58ca laptop want to replace cooling fan and copper part

i have probelm with cooling fan being really loud and making way too much vibration that actually numbs my hands while using wireless keyboard on same desk. so, i have taken apart the laptop to clean the cooling fan area with compressed air, and assembled it again, and ran the laptop.
a littble improvement but still same problem.
so i came to comclusion that the hardware part itself is the problem and i want to replace it.
so my question is where can i find or buy the cooling fan and copper colored line that is connected to cooling fan?

looked at amazon but they only had coolingfan part not the copper colored line.

Then you should have done your homework. It clearly states in the warranty at:

IMPORTANT RESTRICTION FOR iPHONE AND iPAD SERVICE.
Apple may restrict warranty service for iPhone and iPad to the country where Apple or its Authorized Distributors originally sold the device.

Your iPod is designed to sync with only one iTunes library at a time.  It will recognize the iTunes library on the PC as a new library.  If you sync the iPod with this new library, all content will be erased from the iPod and replaced with what is in the new library.  So what you will want to do is copy everything from the iPod to your new iTunes library on your PC first.
See this excellent user tip from another forum member turingtest2 outlining the different methods and software available to help you copy content from your iPod back to your PC and into iTunes.

  • Recently had to purchase a replacement phone a friend of mine had backed up the data on the lost phone to his Mac laptop how do I get that backed up data from the lost iPhone that's on his Mac laptop to my new replacement phone? Please give step by step

recently had to purchase a replacement phone a friend of mine had backed up the data on the lost phone to his Mac laptop how do I get that backed up data from the lost iPhone that's on his Mac laptop to my new replacement phone? Please give step by step instructions xoxoxo
And my iTunes sign in is also screwed up... It is underneath my friends email (the one with my backed up data on his Mac laptop) HOW DO I CHANGE THIS SO THAT I CAN DOWNLOAD APP's again...

I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone.  Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

  • My iMac 27'', which I bought two Months ago, has ghost images on it's screen. Apple don't want to replace it. What can I do now?

    Hey!
Two months ago I bought the new, thin iMac 27'' with Fusion Drive.
Well, one week ago I recognized that I have ghost images on my screen.
Apple don't want to replace it. They want that I drive to the next 200km away
Apple Store (with this huge iMac) to show an Apple Employee the production error.
The problem is that it is an iMac with special features and I need to wait 5-6  business days.
After that I need to go back to this Apple Store (they won't send it) to bring it home.
AND: THEY DONT WANT TO OFFER AN REPLACEMENT DEVICE!!
I need this mac for working!!! I use it for my business and I have not the time for it!
Is there a solution for this problem? Has anyone of you a similar problem?
I mean: this is not accomodating!! Other companys have a better support for this case!!
Thank you very, very much in advance!!!!!!!

  • Qosmio F10-100 - I want to replace HDD

My hard drive on this laptop has just died and I want to replace it. The current hard rive capacity is 60GB.5400 rpm.
Can anyone tell me what the maximum capacity hard drive I can refit, and if possible what i should be looking for in a hard drive equivalent should a Toshiba replacement not be readily available.
    Many Thanks

    Hi
Take a look into this thread:
    http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=41606
Seems you will need an IDE 2.5 HDD.
I think you can take an 120GB HDD and such HDD should work properly.
The HDD bay should be placed at the bottom of the unit.
Its secured with an plastic cover and one screw. You have to remove the screw, then the plastic cover and then you should be able to remove the HDD..

If your iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad is Broken
Apple does not fix iDevices. Instead, they exchange yours for a refurbished or new replacement depending upon the age of your device and refurbished inventories. On rare occasions when there are no longer refurbished units for your older model, they may replace it with the next newer model.
ATTN: Beginning July 2013 Apple Stores are now equipped to do screen repairs/replacements in-house on iPhone 5s. In some cases while you wait. According to Apple this is the beginning of equipping Apple Stores with the resources needed to do most repairs for iPhones, iPads, and iPod Touches that would not require major replacements. Later in the year the services may be extended as Apple Stores become equipped and staffed with the proper repair expertise. So, if you need a screen repaired or a broken screen replaced or have your stuck Home button fixed, call your local Apple Store to see if they are now doing these in-house.

  • I bought my wife an ipad for xmas and the machine is faulty the apple authorised dealer admitted it was faulty and wants to replace my new machine with a factory refurbished unit. I told them that i will only accept a new one? am i right?

i bought my wife an ipad retina for xmas and the machine is faulty, it keeps on switching off. the apple authorised dealer admitted it was faulty and wants to replace my new machine with a factory refurbished unit. I told them that i will only accept a new one as it is only a few weeks old and had the problem from the begining? is it correct that apple replaces new defective products with factory refurbished one? I have used apple products most of my life from mac 2 to G5. I had over a dozen apple machines and never had a problem so far? I do not believe this is right..

In the EU there is also a mandatory two year warranty by european union law. I am not a lawyer but i never signed or agreed to any apple policy at the time of purchase, i was told you have a two year guarantee bring it back if anything goes wrong which i did and now i am being quoted all sorts of policies. my own policy is that if you buy new you get new, with no excuses.  I feel a bit cheated by apple if i have to compromise with a second hand unit. the unit is not even a month old and we took it to the original store a couple of weeks after it was bought and they sent us to take it to a servicing dept in another town. I am an apple fan and expect excellent service like the products themselves.
No one ever does sign anything - the purchase itself, where you exchange money for the product, is your de facto agreement to all warranties and policies set forth by both the seller and the OEM supplier.  That's a pretty firmly established principle of consumer law (image the nightmare if you had to read and sign to such things every time you purchased anything or everything?).
You can complain to the store or to Apple about it if you wish.

  • So I've found the laptop I want and it's at Best Buy...

Actually, the laptop that I have researched extensively is at several websites and stores. I do, however, like the components of Best Buy's configuation and price the best ,hence my registration here. First and foremost, the laptop that should be on everyone's wish list (lol) is the HP TX2Z Tablet that a Best Buy within 30 miles of me has instock (at least it says this online)! So, I see all these like 10% off coupons for computer accessories, TV's, applicances, etc. What about the one's for computers and whatnot? I am itching to feel like I'm getting a good deal on this, and even though I may already, I think a coupon would be great. My mom just bought the Toshiba Mini at Best Buy last week and signed up for that Reward Points crap. I don't really know what that is, but from my quick perusing through these forums, apparently you get coupons and whatnot. I'm not RUSHED to make this purchase and have been feverishly looking for a comparable used model of this laptop (hey, a quick reformat makes it new to me!), but if I could find a coupon or something I would definitely go buy one immediately. So do they just not make them for laptops? I found one online that says "$100 off any notebook purchase" and has some exclusions (which do NOT apply to me, so weeee) but it's some weird print screen although the coupon looks legit. It expires 11/24/2009 but it's the ONLY one I found and usually you would see these plastered all over the place so I don't want to try it and then look like some weirdo if it didn't work, lol. I printed it out anyway and still have a copy saved, but still. I don't know. Any help?
    -rye

Always nice to see someone do their research, rye!
First off, sadly BestBuy does not have coupons that apply to laptops and desktops but the RewardZone will help a lot! It is basically a 2% cash back! These reward certificates can be applied to any purchase though!
Please believe me when I say, you will very rarely find a better deal on a equivalent configuration. Though what I said is irrelevant to you since the HP one does have different configuration but most people do not use over 80 GB and an 8-cell is not necessary unless you will be traveling frequently. I do want to warn you about some charges that HP will tend to throw on, such as shipping and services.
If you ever do have a problem, rather than walking right into BestBuy and having GeekSquad fix your problems, you will need to pay to ship the computer back and most of the time the manufacture even charges you for the parts which get real expensive. If you do have GeekSquad Black Tie Protection, GeekSquad will take care of everything and anything and every plan has one free battery replacement to boot. Typical 6 cell can range from $100 to $170 depending on the manufacture. Here is the 6-cell for the laptop you want. My HP has had the power chord tear 4 times and each new one cost me about $54. From that day forward, I always buy GeekSquad Black Tie Protection, it includes AC chord replacements!
Buying from BestBuy with a GeekSquad plan is the safest and best investment for your purchase. I know it seems like a bit more upfront, but factor the price out over the time of coverage, you pay about $6.70 /month for full insurance. I hate paying for my car insurance, but when I get in an accident, boy am I happy I have it. HP does not provide coverage and services even close to GeekSquad.
I hope I helped you understand discounts for BestBuy and by far, I do not shop at BestBuy exclusively, it's just that I have really grown to dislike HP after 2 desktops and a laptop.
    Warm Regards,
    Jason

  • I want to replace the optical drive in my iBook with a SATA-SSD.

I want to replace the optical drive in my iBook with a SATA-SSD (using a HDD-caddy PATA to SATA) and use that as my OS disk. Is there a speed difference between the ATA connections of the optical drive and the hard drive? Mactracker tells me that the Hard Drive Bus is Ultra ATA/100 (ATA-6), but there is no information to the Bus of the optical drive. Is it the same?

There may be a kit from OWC to replace the optical drive in the old iBook G4 with an SSD. They have similar items for other portable Macs of the era where optical drives still were inside.
They do have what they call a 'legacy' ATA/IDE SSD series of portable computer drive for use in older type architecture, but I don't see the kit to replace the optical drive with an SSD on the same page... They do offer a live chat on the page, though. So it is possible to ask questions and hope you get matching results...

I'd considered upgrading my iBook G4 (mid-2005) 12" 1.33GHz computer with an SSD because the original 38GB HDD is rather tight with Leopard OS X 10.5.8 installed and some applications. And it has the max RAM at 1.5GB. Plus it would need a new battery since both batteries from Apple failed early on with low use cycles. I do like the idea of wear-leveling technologies in their Mercury Legacy drives. And some of the external enclosures look durable enough.
Hopefully they can answer some questions.
    Good luck & happy computing!

  • I had two files named graphics and I replaced one graphics file with another which was the wrong one.  Can I undo my replacement?  I move the wrong one, which was on my desktop into another one and that is when it as me if I wanted to replace the file.

I accidently replaced a file with another.  Can I undo my action?
I had two files named graphics.  One was on my desktop and another was within another file called solitarie.  I move the one on my desktop (wrong file) into the solitarie file and was asked if I wanted to replace the graphics file in the solitarie folder (the correct one).  I said yes accidently and then remembered that I had made a mistake.  If I use undo, it only move the wrong file back to the desktop.  Is there an undo of replace?

Sorry, but's that's why you get the warning. "Replace" means just that - the new file over-writes the old one. There is no undo.
