Product registration help

Hello all,
I need to find my registration information for some Apple products that I purchased online. Of course, there is no email record of a QuickTime Pro purchase and that's what I need.
Does anyone know how to find registration information online?
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I thought I'd start here. Feel free to redirect me, if needed.
Thank you!

System Preferences->QuickTime->Register should have your Pro information.

  • Help getting help with iTunes (or, the elusive product registration number)

My almost brand-new iPOD classic is now useless because iTunes no longer works on my Vista 64. It was fine for a while. Now, when my computer starts up, I get an error message that reads:
iTunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall iTunes Error 7 (Windows error 14003).
I tried all the obvious stuff, and then decided, what the heck, I'm a paying customer, I'll get some online help for Apple. But much to my frustration and rage, I can't get any help without my product registration number. I can't read the microscopic number on the back of my iPod, and because i can't open iTunes, I can't find my registration number that way. Do you know, you can't even call Apple without the product registration number? So I can't get any help. I'm so frustrated. I got my iPod on Airmiles, so I don't even have a bill.
Is there any other way to find my registration number?

    hi dan,
i am using iWeb for a non .Mac account! the reason behind is that external hosters offer better online space and loading times than .Mac. Yet on the other hand, the iDisk, Web-Mail, Addressbook and iCal features that are offered with .Mac make the 99€ a year quite worthy!
i myself do not use .mac because my website is simply to large and the prices are not accepteable that .Mac offers for more space!
the next thing is that your .Mac account username will be in you URL and you cannot stay anonymous! your address will be something like this:
    http://web.mac.com/USERNAME
so now you will share your username with the whole wide world! the other thing is that iWeb was designed to work hand in hand with .Mac. This means that some cool feature fall off when you publish externally, meaning to a different host, eg.: 1and1, godaddy, strato. These features include Slideshows, Password-Protection, Blod-Search and other small things!
yet when you still choose to go for .Mac - no one will get your address unless you tell them what the address is! it is extremely hard to find, if not impossible, your .mac address under Google or Yahoo! So your username is somewhat protected!
    Here are some good hosters:
    http://godaddy.com
    http://1and1.com
    http://strato.de (german)
you practically have to also see for your country what hosters offer. 1and1 is extremely cheap and is over the world! Yet when you choose to have a external host - then you have to pay extra and if you close your .Mac account you cannot buy music in the itunes store!
here is a very good FTP program to upload your files to a different host:
    http://cyberduck.ch
    http://karreth.com/iweb/Host%20To%20Other%20Than%20.Mac.html
    i hope that helped!

  • Product Registration Pop

I have a pop up reminder on the PC for the first time today to "register product and enjoy a host of benefits" - how can I get rid of it please - I've already registered and I thought it would be as simple as deleting the product registration link from the start menu. Now I can't close this popup manually or through task manager and hitting OK runs through the registration details pages (it already has my details on it) even if I go through the process and click register it takes me back to the F***ing pop up. Very frustrated - please help.Message Edited by Tony966 on 07-28-200708:45 AM

Glad to find this question raised on your forum, since am having the same problem. I am using Windows VISTA and your "fix" does not match what I see on my screen. I have no "run" option on the start menu? Is the sequence different for Vista? Thanks,Mof
It's hidden by default. To get it visible
. Right click on the Start button, and click Properties.
    2. From the Taskbar and Start Menu Properties dialog, click Customize.
    3. Scroll down through the list until you shall find Run command. Check the box next to it.
    4. Click OK.

  • Product Registration program h

Ok just recently the product registration module has been poping up on startup with a message"Gentle reminder: Register your Creative products now to enjoy a host of benefits" I hit the OK button and another window pops up saying "The product registration program is currently detecting you Creative product(s). This may take a few seconds. Please wait... Sound Blaster X-Fi"? It does nothing at this point but just sit there and take up space on my window and eat up about 3.5MB of memory. I have tried stopping the program in the task manager and it just auto restarts. I looked for it in the Uninstall program area and do not see it not sure which if it is in there program it is need help getting rid of this pest.

If you don't want to see this again. Go to program files, either using Windows Explorer or double click the computer icon on the desktop, locate the creative directory and delete the product registration directory, then delete?the registration?icon in the creative?group and?the icon on the desktop.
?This always worked for me. :smileytongue:Message Edited by freesky on 04-0-200702:03 PM

  • 1) "Care Pack" product registration page error 2) Driver download page error - links don't work

I cannot register my printer because the page has "Care Pack" product registration page has errors:
    https://register.hp.com/americas/flowPage/registration/index.do?execution=e1s1
I fill in all the information and click the blue "Submit Query" button, and nothing happens except 3 silver "Submit Query" buttons appear below where it says, "Search results" "Select the product that you want to register." But there are no results! And why 3 buttons if no results?
Cookies and scripts are enabled. I did that and refreshed the page before I entered anything, so nothing is getting rejected.
It seems the website has a lot of problems...the download links on the driver page wouldn't work either, so I had to get them from a 3rd party. I am lucky to find a reliable site! (The driver was official and the printer finally installed correctly, which it couldn't even find if I let Windows search online!)

And you also have a product catalog created and published, right?
Well, for your question on seeing the Product Catalog in WebUI, you have to do the following:
    1. You have set up a CRM Product Catalog
    2. You have set up a Web shop running on a Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) server
    3. Configure the Extended Configuration Management (XCM) settings
    4. Assigned the user to appropriate business role
In your case for example - Service Professional (SERVICEPRO)
For more information see this: [Product Catalog Display in CRM WebClient UI|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_crm70/helpdata/en/46/24a62995654a8d8dc80a2332eec505/content.htm]

  • Creative Product Registration Probl

I recently acquired a new sound blaster card and for the week I had it I experienced no problems. Soon after it gave me the "Gentle Reminder" to register my product. Like most people I quickly clicked the remind me in a week option. One week later I got the reminder, and having feeling bad about not registering I decided to quickly do it. The process was quick and everything seemed to work. Upon trying to close the registration program I was assaulted again by the "Gentle Reminder". I didn't think much at the time and it did the scan to find that there are NO UNREGISTERED PRODUCTS DETECTED. Hooray for me, huh? Well after seeing that I tried to close the program again to find it still insisted on me going through the registration process AGAIN.
Everything is registered and I'm not sure if I just didn't do something right.Message Edited by GarrettR on 08-08-2007:43 PM

I had this same problem with my wife's computer... Kinda weird actually. My computer and my wifes are the same...same sound card..same software..everything. I had no problem on mine. Anyways...the bloody registration 'gentle reminder'.. Here's how I fixed it. These directions are for Vista users, for Windows users I'm sure you can figure it out. just cut through program files. go to Start >> All programs >> Creative Folder >> Right Click on Creative Product Registration. Go to Open File Location. Delete all the files listed. for me 2 Files were unable to be deleted. As is the application starts, but then has to close because it has nothign to run on. That doesn't help though...So right click on the two files and "Cut" them. paste them onto yoru desktop. Now...You should have no files in there..No nasty "gentle Reminder". Then all you have to do is delete the two files from your desktop. And you should be good to go.. As said for non-Vista users I assume you just go through Program Files >> Creative >> find the Creative Product Registration. Good Luck, hope it works for you!

  • I could not log-into "Apple Product Registration"

    Can someone help please???
I've been trying to log-into "Apple Product Registration", it kept saying wrong password or OD, i double check it was not wrong. Just could not enter this site. HELPPPPPP!!!

Same thing happened to me after I first got the iMac. I put the restore disk in and did an "Erase and Install" and it worked fine. I did not lose anything because I hadn't installed any programs yet. If you have a lot of stuff installed already you might try "Archive and Install", not sure if that will work or not. Good Luck!!

  • Product Registration doesn't accept the Serial Number of my Time Capsule

    Hi,
I've bought a Time Capsule 500GB a couple of months ago (at Apple Store - Fort Lauderdale) and several times I've tried to register it's Serial Number at Apple's Product Registration website. I always get the same error when I type the SN: "We could not recognize the serial number you entered. Please re-enter it, making sure each letter or number is correct."
The problem is that I've checked the SN several times (physically at the bottom o TC and via AirPort Utility) and the SN is CORRECT.
Have anyone faced this problem before?

I just had this problem today. I received my TC for Christmas and my parents bought it a week before the holiday from my local apple store (Norfolk, VA). I have been having other problems with my TC and wanted to get online support, that's when I first discovered the problem with the SN. I attempted to register it online with my already existing apple ID and it still didn't work. I finally called tech support. I didn't tell the guy I was having problems registering it with the SN, he typed it into his computer and didn't say anything. After attempting to trouble shoot my other problem I told him about the issue with the SN. He did say that when he put in my current SN that it brought up a message saying that there was "no support" for my TC. I had read that there is complimentary phone support for a certain amount of time for Mac computers and iPhones, but I guess there is not for the TC (what BS!!). Either that or he kept saying that my parents must have "bought it early." I didn't ask this, but I should have, if that meant that there was no warranty on it?? But anyhoo, long story short (sorry for rambling) because he put in my SN and my existing information it automatically registered everything and when I logged back onto apple.com and went to get online support (because the problem wasn't fixed) my TC was now listed as my registered products. You may just have to call like I did. I have no clue why though??
