Project compile as project but not as DC

Hello,
I have created new DC of type Portal Application Module.
At the code I am using I need to use these jar files located locally at the com.sap.km.rfwizard/lib plugin:
bc.util.public_api.jar
bc.rf.framework_api.jar
com.sap.security.api.ep5.jar
I have added these jars locally.
When I build the project it builds with no errors but as soon as I build it as a DC all these jars disappear from from the build path and again I receive errors on all the lines which are using these jars as they can't find them.
Can someone please sujjest what am I doing wrong here? Perhaps there is a KM SC that I need to add as dependency?

One more thing that bothers me and I don't think I understood completely: When I created Local dynpro projects I imported the relevant km jar files for local work and compile and under SharingReference (Dynpro has SharingReference as well) I gave a reference to: PORTAL: sap.com/com.sap.km.application for server runtime reference. Everything worked great.
Why when I create new DC I can't continue using the same SharingReference for runtime and I need to manually create J2EE library DC which wraps these same jar files in an external library DC? After all, these jars are already on the server, why uploading them again as J2EE library?

Time charged is showing up in project but not in timesheet?

The task which the time was charged was set to unpunished after
resource charged time to it, Now its showing up in project actual but not in resource timesheet and the same hours are showing up in next line of timesheet
IS it possible that system automatically shifted hours to next task of other project?

As soon as the task update is approved and published by the status manager, then it is pushed in the project plan. Evenif you unpublish the task AFTER the timesheet is submitted, the actuals if approved and published will remain on the assignment in the
project plan, but it will disappear from the timesheet, this is the normal behavior.
In other words, unpublishing an assignment does not remove the actuals on this assignment, it just removes the assignment from the resource's timesheet so the resource does not see it anymore and cannot update it anymore.
In case you do need to remove actual, the process is to ask the resource to recall his timesheet (thus the assignment must not be unpublished so the resource can see it), delete the actuals on the given assignment and submit the timesheet. Then the status
manager has to approve the timesheet and publish the project.

Error at executing RFC in a dynpro project but not at executing in R3

Hi experts,
I have a problem whit my RFC. When I execute it from the R3 there's no problem, I got the result that I expected. But I conect the RFC in a dynpro project and when I executed it I got an error.
Supose that my RFC receives a USER as parameter and returns me a table of type RPM_TT_ORG_UNIT.
The structure of my RFC is something like this
* First I obtain the position of the user

When I executing it from my dynpro project I got the first error 'Postion not found for the user in the UO'. I tought that maybe the USER parameter was not sending correctly, but then I returned the parameter in one of the 4 error messages and turns out that it was sended correctly.
I hope that someone can help me.

Can you explain me a litle more because I put the external breackpoint in my abap function but when I try to execute my dynpro project, ir executes like it was no breakpoint at all.
I was trying with something else ...
First, I create a web service from my function module from the R/3. When I try the web service it works fine and I though "OK, this is the solution" but when I import the module in my dynpro project it turns out that the destination and metadata is incorrect. I put one that its like the "default" when all the webservices are, but this web service is not located at this destination. Then I try to put another destination where the RFC is located to, but it didn't work.
My second option was to execute it directly from a simple Java Class using the libraries of sap com.sap.mw.jco and it works fine, but we thing that this is no the correct way of executing it. My code is something like this:

IDVD '06 Sees Old iMovie Projects But Not New Ones

I have found that iDVD '06 will let you do something really neat, that ended up in me discovering something really dumb.
First, if you want to add a folder with media in it to the Media section of iDVD, you can literally just drag/drop the folder there and POOF it shows up and your media shows up.
BUT... Ugh.
iDVD '06 does NOT see iMovie '06 project files. So, if you have a folder with iMovie '05 projects in it and iMovie '06 projects in it, and you drag that folder into the "Media" section of iLife '06, the '05 projects show and the '06 projects don't.
And this all came up because of another issues in iMovie '06 (posted about over here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=421159&tstart=0 ) in which iMovie '06 doesn't actually delete video in cropped videos, discovered because I no longer can see video snips of a current iMovie project in iDVD (I used to see just enough to use in the menus, which was fine).
So, this sounds really weird to me. iDVD '06 can't see iMovie '06 project files? That can't be right, can it?

A/V synced in project, but not upon rendering, CS3

Unfortunately, I'm still using CS3. Can't afford to upgrade yet.
Anyway, I have a mid-level computer system. I've got a video project that I did a couple years ago which is sort of like a music video in that I had to sync a lot of the video motions very carefully (to the frame) to look appropriate with the audio bed track. After the project was put together (in Premiere 7.0) and rendered, the project played perfectly in sync. I exported it at the time to a movie format (I think mpeg, if I remember correctly), and submitted the project, and everything was good. Still perfectly in sync. It even went up on YouTube and got several thousand views, and is still synced fine as a streamed video.
Anyway, I wanted to re-encode the video at a higher quality, so I imported the project into CS3, which converted it with no problems. I re-rendered in the computer, and everything is still in sync. However, I tried exporting and the finished product is NOT in sync anymore. Two other projects that I did at the same time, with the same settings, did not exhibit this problem. The only significant difference that I can see between this project and the one a few years ago is that I am currently trying to export as a .MOV using H264. I would have figured that would be the problem, except that the other two videos that I just exported to the same format did NOT experience the un-syncing.
Very confused, would appreciate any thoughts. I'm currently trying to export into a variety of other formats to see if I can get any to work and stay properly synced.

Help! INDD PDF file appears pixelated when projected, but not on laptop

I'm preparing an important presentation and want to ensure that my slides look great when projected at an event next week. I'm concerned because at a practice pitch a couple weeks ago, they appeared pixelated when projected, even though they looked beautiful on my laptop screen. This includes fonts and vector graphics. I had created the slides in InDesign 6 and exported to PDF. I'm posting screen shots of the file settings for each below. Should I have done something differently? Can anyone share best practices for exporting to PDF when the intent is to project the PDF from a laptop? I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

If you're displaying the PDF with Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader then any vector content (graphics and text) will scale perfectly; the document setup in InDesign has no bearing other than to set a 4:3 aspect ratio for the pages (PDFs don't measure in pixels). As Rob says there's no getting around the resolution of the projector.
Given how PDFs behave there's no complex 'best practice' guide for on-screen or projected content driven by a desktop computer. You can work in any color space and use any combination of transparency, raster and vector content you wish, then just run Export > Interactive PDF with the default options. If you're displaying via a mobile device it's a good idea to work in RGB, as some PDF-reading apps will mess up CMYK>RGB conversion, and don't bother with any rich media (Flash/video).

Why does my video audio skip in projects but not in the event?

When I watch video in my events, the audio is perfectly fine. When I drag clips from the event to a project, the audio randomly shorts out/skips/silences about every two seconds. I deleted the selected clips and reinserted them, and this is still happening. Does anyone know how to troubleshoot this problem?!

i have recorded voice within the project and it plays fine
with the exception of PREVIEW PROJECT or in the published project

About the only thing that comes to mind here to check is to
have you try and reset your Global Settings file.
To do this:
Close Captivate
Open Windows Explorer
Navigate to the following folder:
C:\Documents and Settings\????\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe
Captivate
(???? represents your user name)
Once there you should see a file named captivate_v30.dat
Delete or rename this file. The goal is to change things so
Captivate can't find it.
Restart Captivate and a new version of the file will be
created.
Give that a go and see if it corrects the issue.

Project sites on project server not on PWA

I am have created Projects and project sub sites on the Project Server however when I open up PWA I am unable to see the projects. I am new to this and I am wondering if I need to make the projects as a part of a Team Site or what I am missing in order
to see the projects both ways. I am not using Microsoft Project at all. This is Project Server 2013

I couldn't exactly understand issue you are facing, but i am assuming that when you are logging-in you are unable to see any data in Project Center?
are you able to see project but not project site?
Do you have right privileges to access PWA? have you tried logging-in as an Administrator?

Unable to open or watch some projects but can watch others

I am in the middle of making a movie but for some reason, iMovie will not play or allow me to edit the project. it will open another project but not these other two. also the playback will not work, on any of the three movies. PLEASE HELP D:

Have we determined if the program was installed to the default location Local Disk C?
Have we ruled out any antivirus and firewall(s) as well as other security program issues in this matter, and
you are not working in a school or company network? If we get down to last resort, we might consider uninstalling
the antivirus instead of disabling Real Time Protection.
More ways to go on this.
1. You might consider the solutions suggested for 12 which would not open.

2. You say that you have done the uninstall/reinstall with no solution to the problem.
When you did this, did you go through
a. uninstall the usual control panel route
b. free ccleaner run through to get rid of leftovers from uninstalls/reinstalls
c. reinstall with antivirus and firewall(s) disabled.
3. Create a new user account with administrative privileges and install and try to open Premiere Elements 11 on that.
4. Download and install tryout files for 11 from the following web site, insert your purchased serial number in them during
installation.

How To Duplicate Songs In A Playlist To Edit Info But Not Lose Original?

I'm making a Christmas playlist and want to edit the info on the various songs -- I'll add my own "album artwork" and will change the track info so each of the 25 songs is numbered 1 of 25 ... 25 or 25
bla bla bla
How best do I deal with the playlist so I can make my changes for this project but not lose the original info associated with each song? For example I'll want to add my artwork this time but want the original file to still have the original artwork, track number, album name, etc.
what's the easiest way?

I am not aware of the "automatically add to iTunes" function -- is it a folder, a button, a menu item, ...? I don't see it in my iTunes and there is no mention when I did a search in the help. I'm sure it is right in front of my face.
What I was thinking of doing was dragging the songs to my desktop and then dragging back. But am I then going to get messed up with the file being recompressed?

Trying to make a disc.img from an iMovie project get the mssage that some of the audio clips are not available. The clips still show as green bars in the project but do not play.

I successfully made a disc.img and then burned a DVD of the project but found an error in a title. Went back to the project, corrected the error, and tried to create a new disc.img but got the message that some of the audio tracks were unavailable. They still show as green bars in the project but do not play. Tried deleting and reinstalling them with no success. They do play in iTunes and in the iMovie editing pane

Text caption visible on slide but not when running project

I am using Captivate v4.
I have one slide of 64 where the text cpation is seen on the slide and runs correctly when using F3 - but when I run the project / F10 the text caption does not appear.
I have copied the slide with this error onto a blank project as i assumed the project might be corrupt - but the same happens on the blank project.
Help please...anyone ?

Not sure what was the cause of the problem - but have fixed it now.
After trying many things, including copying the project onto a new blank Captivate project - none of which worked, I did the following and the problem was fixed.
Working on the original project and the slide with the error - I removed the text caption that was not working (for the nth time) and thought I would try one more time to put the text caption back using a different font.....
When I opened the text caption option I noticed there are "two" options for the transparent text caption one above the line and one below, see below;
I selected the transparent option below the line...and it worked OK.
Have to assume that the ones above the line are the most recently used, and I must have been using this one without noticing which one I was selecting - and there was something wrong with the one above the line.
Staring to think I need to upgrade to v5.5 - but not convinced it is the right thing to do.

VS 2012 shows one project in solution with source control hieroglyphs but not the other

I have a solution that contains a database project, and an integration services project. The solution was add to a git repo that's based on a TFS 2013 team project. Team project was created, connected to with VS, synced, and the solution created within
that (using the new button after connecting from Team Explorer). My issue now is that the database project shows files that are checked-in, modified locally and not committed, etc - but the SSIS project does not. I still have the option to commit changes to
either project, but there's no visual queues on the one when there are changes. Any way to fix this?

New folder is not visible inside my project but shows in Windows Explorer.

I created a new folder under another folder. The new folder is not visible inside my project but shows in Windows Explorer. Also, if I try to add another folder of that same name, it denies the action since the folder (although invisible) already exists. My co-worker can access the same file (on a share drive) and see the new folder just fine. This error occurs whether I was the one creating the new folder or she is the one creating the new folder. I am new to RoboHelp and she has used it for years. I suspect something is not yet set up right on my side. Ideas? (I thought I posted this yesterday but I can't find it anywhere)

Did you create the folder from inside RoboHelp or did you create it using Windows Explorer?
