Purchaser wants to print Shopping Cart Output

We have a requirement where in a Purchaser wants to print Shopping Cart. Currently only in Shopping Cart status, a shopper can print this using the print icon. How can get this icon for a purchaser who can print this document? Is there a way I can add the Print icon in Sourcing area or other areas within Strategic Purchaser role?

Which SRM version are you working??If on SRM 5.0 or lower ,see this related thread.It discusses about including the print option in transaction  "MONITOR SHOPPING CART".You can try something similar with SOURCING or any other transaction in your case.

    I would suggest that you first find out which smartform is used to print out your SC. To do this,
    1. first check if the BADI BBP_OUTPUT_CHANGE_SF and see if you have active implementation of it. If so, check the logic of "CHANGE_FORMS". You can set a breakpoint in the form and run "print preview" of your shopping cart again.
    2. If there is no active implementation for that BADI, run transaction SMARTFORMS, enter form name "BBP_SC" and click execute. You would be directed to the generated FM. Display the source code of the FM, look for form "global_init" and set a break point there. If this is the smart form the process is using, the "print preview" should stop there.
    After identifying your smartform, you need to use transaction SMARTFORMS to have a detail view of the element of interest, e.g. accouting line, and how that value is populated. Generally speaking, SAP is not responsible for pre-delivered smart forms, as in nearly all cases, the customer needs to customize the form based on their own needs. The standard forms serve as templates to get the customer started.

    Currently our print shopping cart function only prints the main details of the shopping cart (vendor, lines, cost center, GL, etc.).  How can I include the Approvals and Notes for Approvals to be printed as well?

    Hi,
    There are 2 ways to include the data for internal note/approval notes in SC smartform.
    1.You can modify the std smartform BBP_SC used for Shopping Cart in trasnsaction SMARTFORMS .
    The smartform BBP_SC is hard-coded in include LBBP_SC_APPF54.
    2. If you need to use custom form,try to implement the badi BBP_CHANGE_SF_SC.

  • Create a Purchase Order from a Shop Cart where Stock is held

    A customer requires a shop cart user (Requestor) to decide that they would like to go to straight to Purchase Order for a Stocked Item rather than a reservation being created and stock being transferred from a remote storage location. The customer would like the Requstor to still have the Shop Cart availability subscreen in order to check stock but also be able to enter account (cost) assignment details within the shop cart.
    Customer is on SRM_SERVER 550 SP14 with ERP ECC6 SP18.
    I would appreciate if somebody could share their thoughts and ideas.

    We are on SRM 550 as well and although we haven't implemented any stores business process in SRM we did look into it in some detail.
    If your store uses R/3 or ERP MRP processes then there is not a lot of advantage in transferring the stock replenishment to SRM, you just introduce more steps into what is already a fairly intensive process.  If you do not use MRP then transferring stock replenishment to SRM may be the way to go depending on your line of business.
    Basic process for using SRM with stores materials would be as follows.
    1. Transfer Material codes from the back end system to SRM - needs to be done regularly especially if you are creating new materials all the time.
    2. Make the store a business partner so that stock reservations process can be completed.
    3. Put materials in an internal catalog and make the catalog only available to users who require goods from the store via the stock reservations process.
    4. Also put the materials in another catalog where the source of supply is the external vendor who will deliver the goods to the stores for stock replenishment.
    5. Only make this stock replenishment catalog available to users who are responsible for re-stocking the store.
    You may already know that stores stock is normally held against a balance sheet account and not a cost center account so stores stock does not require a cost assignment unless you are generating a stock reservation for consumption against a cost center/order.
    If you wanted to make both sources available to user i.e. store and external you would only have to make both catalogs available to them.

  • Purchasing group determination in Shopping cart

    Hi All,
    when I am creating Shopping cart and choose Free Text  Describe what you want  and then I find that Purchasing group filed at item data tab is not available.
    But when I am selecting select goods/service and choose Product Id then shopping cart  is determining back end purchasing group and purchasing group field is shown at Item data tab.
    why SC is not showing Purchasing group field for free text items.
    Can any one has this similar issue in your system.
    I am on SRM7.01 Extended classic scenario.

    If I choose the one material for the same product category in SC , it is picking back end purchasing group.
    But If i am choosing free text item and selects the same product category , Purchasing group field, it self is not showing in SC.
    I wonder, if I create a Local purchase group, and create a  free Text SC for the same product categoy, it is picking local Purchaing group.

  • Prevent Purchase Order creation without shopping cart

    We have implemented SRM 5.0 Extended Classic Scenario.
    Is it possible to prevent purchase orders to be created for this scenario if there is no preceding document in the form of a shopping cart?

    The only ways to have a PO without SC is to create a PO from scratch from BBP_POC transaction.
    you just have to control thsi through authorizations in PFCG.

    There is a Shopping Cart in our system SRM 5.0 which we are not able to view/approve/delete from portal because of some problem. Now user wants to get that shopping cart deleted from backend so that he can order same items using another SC.

    Thanks for your reply but my case is a bit different. Here due to some error I am not able to see the shopping cart from BBP_PD transaction or Monitor Shopping Cart. Because of that i am not able to delete the Shopping cart.
    Now I want some FM which can help me in deleting this shopping cart. I tried FMs BBP_PD_SC_DB_DELETE and BBP_PD_SC_STATUS_CHANGE but they can't help. Now if there is any other FM then do let me know.
    PS. Shopping cart is currently in Awaiting Approval status.

    I would like to allow the users to print the items of the shopping
    cart in an organized format. Maybe they print the cart view or
    maybe the itemson how to print the cart could be transfered to a
    Datgrid format for printing, whatever. I'm just looking for some

  • Purchase requistion number not been generated for material shopping carts

    Dear Experts,
    I am able to create a purchase requistion for text shopping carts once it is approved. For material if i create a shopping cart then status is showing approved(activated workflow without approval) but purchase requistion number not been generated.
    It was happening suddenly...earlier i was able to generate PR for material shopping carts.
    Please advise on this

    Can you please give me the detail requirement. If you want generate a PR for catalogue items then you have to maintain the setting in SPRO_>srm->SRM SERVER->cross application basic settings-> define objects in backend systems...

    To get the print functionlaity on the Sourcing page will definately require std modification..As discussed in the above thread,you will need to modify the corresponding ITS template to include the hyperlink for the PRINT functionality(as it is available in "CHECK STATUS" trascn).

    I am trying to find out how to stop the standard SAP email which goes out when Purchase click Complete button on Carry Out Sourcing (bbpsoco1).
    To give brief background, There is standard Email gets generated through SRM to the requester of the Shopping Cart when Purchase hit Complete to shopping cart from Carry out sourcing without creating PO.
    Is there any standard Task in SRM which is triggering the email. I found TS 14007939 & TS 14007947 which are Completion by Purchaser but does not seems applicable for the same.

  • Why can't I download Free iPod Touch Apps from Apps Store w/Shopping Cart?

    I have an 8GB iPod Touch (original model) with the current 2.1 software. I also have iTunes v. 8.0. The behavior I am seeing started about 3 weeks ago and continues with these updates - it was not like this when I first downloaded the 2.0 software and began installing Apps.
    I prefer to manage my iPod Touch applications in iTunes. I have my iTunes account set up for a Shopping Cart, not 1-Click Buy. This is because for Music, I prefer to add songs I will want to my shopping cart, then buy them when I want to.
    When iTunes 7.7 first came out with v2.0 software, even though I have a Shopping Cart for my iTunes, I could "buy" a Free App just by clicking on it, and it would be automatically downloaded and added to my Applications folder on iTunes. Then, when I synced with my iPod Touch, it would install the app on my iPod Touch. This was true for either new Apps or upgrades to existing Apps.
    For the last few weeks, every time I try to update even an existing App for my iPod Touch, if I do it through the iTunes store, I get the following message:
    "Applications cannot be purchased with Shopping Cart.
    Your preferences are currently set to buy using Shopping Cart. Application purchases cannot be placed in Shopping Cart: they must be purchase by 1-Click. Select Buy if you'd like to purchase [NAME OF APPLICATION} by using 1-Click and your credit card will be charged immediately."
    The [NAME OF APPLICATION] is filled in with whatever application I am dealing with at that time.
    Why is it that even with a Free application, and an update for it at that, it will not let me obtain it with iTunes if I have a Shopping Cart? So far, I have solved the problem by doing all of my Applications management on my iPod Touch. I use the iTunes Store on my iPod Touch to search for and download the application. Then, when I sync, it places it in my Applications folder on iTunes on my PC.
    This is very strange behavior for iTunes. Why would it want to charge my credit card for a Free Application?

    Thanks for your reply. I do have a valid Credit Card on the account. In addition, I also have about a $5 credit from an iTunes gift card in my iTunes account.
    In any event, I'm actually NOT purchasing anything. All I'm trying to do is download a FREE App for my iPod Touch. It simply won't let me do it.

    In SRM7, it is not possible to create multiple POs from one SC. In sourcing you can combine multiple SC's (using BAdI BBP_SRC_DETERMINE) and process to create a single PO.
    Also the BAdI BBP_GROUP_LOC_PO is used for :
    If the shopping cart items do not have a source of supply, the standard system creates a purchase order with one purchase order item for each shopping cart item. This is necessary because once a source of supply is assigned to purchase order, the items can no longer be divided up between different purchase orders.
    You use this Business Add-In if you want to create a single purchase order for particular shopping cart items that do not have  a source of supply assigned to them.
    So if your SC has 2 or more line items, then it can be processed in sourcing for multiple PO based on above logic.
    But if your SC has one line item, then splitting of qty for multiple PO is not possible.
