Quota Generation with different base entitlements

Hi,
I have a quota type PTO of 80 hrs which is applicable for all the associates who completed 90 days service.
So, I configured the base entilements seniority as 004-999 months and given 80 hrs. While generating the quota for an associate who joined on Apr 1st, he is getting 60.5 hrs which is correct, but this quota is valid from July 1st ONLY.
PTO (Paid Time Off)     60.50000     Hours     01.04.2009  31.03.2010  01.04.2009     31.03.2010
Maternity Leave     336.00000     Hours     01.04.2009  31.03.2010  01.07.2009     31.03.2010
How I can change that date to 01.07.2009? It should not be distrubed for other associates which are valid from 01.04.2009.

Hi,
Some issue here - I did the changes like that, but when I ran the report for an assocaite who joined on 5/5/2001 also getting the quota from 01.07.2009. This is incorrect. This 3 months condition is applicable only for the new joinees. The condition is the associate should be having 90 days of service in the company to get this quota.
Please suggest.

    I have the BOM with material Mat1 as a component. The base unit of measure of Mat1 is KG.
    Is it possible to replace Mat1 with Mat 2 material in MRP once the Mat1 warehouse stock is depleted.

    The required quantity of MAT1 should be recalculated from KG to KGK accordanly unit ratio.

    Hello Peter,
    You can use follow-up setting (set Mat2 as follow-up of Mat1 in MRP 4 view of material master if this follow-up scenario is valid for all BOM) with discontinuation indicator '1', w/o effective-out date. In this case Mat1's stock will run out (no PldOrd, PR, etc) will be created, and from the date, when Mat1's stock runs out, MRP will calculate with Mat2.
    As I told you, according to my best knowledge, you cannot realize this with different base unit of measures. (you have to change the buom of one of the related material masters or create a new material master if you cannot cope with buom-change).
    Follow-up group scenario can also be used but I guess different buoms will be a problem in that case as well.
    Maybe there are better solution but I'm not aware of it...

    I have the following requirement need help in achieving this.
    Employers must grant 10 days paid leave to employees that worked for six consecutive months from the time of hiring and who worked on not less than 80 per cent of all schedule work days. This paid leave may be taken consecutively or separately. Where an employee's application to take paid leave will hinder the normal business operations, the employer may require the employee to take such paid leave at a different time.
    The number of days of paid leave available to employees increases in proportion to employees' length of service as set forth in the below table.
    Years of Service  0.5  1.5  2.5  3.5   4.5   5.5   6.5+
    Paid Holidays         10    11  12   14    16    18    20
    The right to annual paid leave expires after two years. In other words, annual paid leave left over from one year may be carried over and taken the next year only. For example, if an employee is awarded 10 days paid leave after their first 6 months of employment; those paid holidays will become invalid after 2.5 years of employment. Use them or lose them.
    Simply put, holidays from one year can be carried over to the next year, but not to the third year. So, if you don't take your leave from one particular year within 12 months of that year ending, you will lose that first year's allowance.
    Employee can take leave encashment of holiday leave only when leaving their employer. It is not legal for companies to buy up the holiday leave of those still working for the firm.
    In my organization one PSG grouping has been used for all countries, it wont be possible to change the grouping now. In such a case how can we provide different rule for different country without customizing the Leave module.
    Do we have to use any PCR for this, if yes which??

    Use QUOMO Feature to give different entitilement to employees.
    Leave entitlement as per seniority can be configured in base entitlement.
    Keep validity and deduction period for 2 years by using :Relative postion" option in validity and deduction period table.

  • Absence quota generation with PCR in Time Evaluation

    Dear All,
    I am generation absence quota Annual leave = 50 through PT60- ZM04. Its daily calculation and transfered at the month end.
    The quota entitlement is 30 days per year.
    I have written this pcr. Have configured a time type too. but not sure why its not generating any quota.
    The time type I have configured is:
    Time Type: 0097
    Save as day balance - No Formation
    Save as period balance - 1
    Store for time accounts - 1
    Have assigned the time type 0097 in Base entitlement for Absence quota generation as Day Balance and even in generation rules.
    Have placed the PCR with ACTIO Z003 before CUMBT fucntion.
    The PCR Z003 is:
    000010 D HRS?0
    000020 *
    000030 = D OUTAQTYP
    000040 = **
    000050 = 50 Z GCY ZQTY
    PCR ZQTY is:
    000010 D OUTWPMOLGA
    000020 **
    000030 99 HRS=FR50C ADDDB0097Z ADDDB0097 HRS=D0097
    I didnt mention anywhere in configuration or PCR that its 30 days per year.
    Do I need to do this?
    Have I missed out anything, please help me.

    Hi,
    This you can do through config also without using PCR.
    Base entitlement is 30 for calender year. Selection rule- Accrual period is daily and transfer time is time evaluation period.
    Use appropriate rounding rule in selection rule.

  • Tax Requirement - with different base value

    Hi,
    We have material (Service) for which the tax calculation should be as follows:
    If the quantity is 6, say the per unit value is 100 $. Then the first 4 will have tax calculation of 15 % (GST) on 100 $  and the rest of 2 will have 60 % of total value = 60 (X).  And the tax value will be 15 % 0n X = 9.
    So the total value will be - 100 (Basic Price) + 15 (tax for qty 4) + 9 (for qty - 2) = 124 $.
    Is it possible in standard ? Also, the above is for Newzealand government , is there any specific requirement for that ?

  • Quota generation in IT2006

    Hello Experts.
    need your help in this issue, i am running time evaluation with schema ZM00 where annual leave quota is generated with TE.
    my problem here is that the quota is being generated on a monthly basis with 1.25 day/month and it is showing in the "Accrual Information" in the Time Management Pool in PT40, but when displaying the quota in IT2006, the add up of the quota generation is different.
    please advise.

    TE is running on a daily basis.
    my problem is that the Accrual entitlements are being generated correctly but they are not adjusting the IT2006.
    what would prevent the accrual entitlements from being automatically updated in IT2006. I checked the the following date in SPRO and it is correct:
    Time Management- Time Data Recording and Administration- Managing Time Accounts Using Attendance/Absence Quotas- Calculating Absence Entitlements-- Automatic Accrual of Absence Quotas--- Permit Generation of Quotas in Time Evaluation

    Are we going to use Base Entitlement only if we use AGE and SENIORITY into consideration for creating quotas.  if we don't use as age and seniority  for quota generation can we skip doing configaration in Base entitlement screen.(T559E)

    The main use of Base Entitlement is determining the total entitlement (base entitlement) to an absence quota type. The base entitlement forms the basis for calculating the prorated leave or absence entitlement for each accrual period.
    If you determine the base entitlement according to the employee's age or seniority, you enter a constant expressed in days or hours.
    Ex: I say sick leave of 20 days so 20 days is a constant and this needs to be defined here and then assigned further to my Quota.And employee's age or seniority is another way of assigning if ur business demands.

  • Issue with PTO (Paid Time Off) quota generation

    Hi All,
    We have an issue with quota generation of PTO for our employees.
    The issue goes like this:
    We have a Paid time off for employees 5weeks( 200 hrs) for employees who have worked less than 5 years.
    we have  paid time off for employees 6 weeks ( 240 hrs) for employees who have worked more than 5 years.
    we have the following logic that has to go in this config:
    -- Our fiscal year starts on Feb 1st and ends on Jan end or Feb starts which has a full week of working days. ( ex: if 01/31/2012 falls on a Thursday the following Monday which has full 5 day working week would be the end of the fiscal year).
    -- Depending on the working hours of  the employees and the date of joining for the first year ( for new hires)0041 info type the eligibility gets varied and reduced. Ex( employees who joins on start of fiscal year and works 40hrs per week schedules is eligible for 200hrs of PTO. Employees who join in the month of august and works for 35 hrs per week ( i.e mid of fiscal year) would get 91 hrs of PTO.
    I need to put this in the system. I am thinking this could be done with out tweaking PCR.I need help in configuring this in Absence quotas as to what are the things i need change in system config and how do i do it. Please help with some screen shots if possible.  I really need this to get it done ASAP. Looking forward for help.

    We use TM00 schema. Can i call TS15 and TS 12  rules into TM00 acheieve my issue of quota entilements?
    Iam doing this because my businees needs to see if an employee chages his work schedule from 40 to 30 or 20 etc.. the PTO has to vary accordingly.
    As the minimum eligibility is to work for 20 hrs to avail the PTO days. If at any point the employee drops it under 20 he will not be eligible till he work any this >= 20hrs per month so the evaluation has to check periodically to update the quota availability.... I need help plz suggest ...

  • HDATE feature with quota generation

    Hi:
    Currently, I am referencing date type 'SD' in IT0041 using feature HDATE (determining entry date) for calculating seniority in generating absence quotas. A customer is requesting a new date type, 'AL', to be created and we begin generating their absence quotas based off the 'AL' date type in IT0041.
    If I change the HDATE feature to begin referencing the 'AL' date type instead of the 'SD', will this affect the existing absence quotas that have already been generated off the 'SD'? For example, if a master data change triggers a retro time evaluation and the HDATE feature is reading the 'AL' now, will the absence quotas be affected?

                    thanks for your answer. I can run the time evaluation to the end of the (12/31/2008) because I haven´t time events for all the year previosuly.
    I need to generate with RPTQTA00 a entitlement for all the year,30 hours,("No generate" selected in V_556A_B ). After that,on certain fridays I have to discount 2 hours of this entitlement with time evaluation (Increase or replace in V_556A_B,and use then Quota and UPDTQ).
    Like you will see I need to modify V_556A_B selections to do it,is there any other way??....Thanks!!!!!!

    let assume that I have a analysis with columns : group_id and sales.
    Based on it I would like to create two tables : table1 where group_id =1 and table2 where group_id = 2.
    Is OBIEE capable of doing it?

    Hi Slavi,
    You can do that in single analysis, but you need to have the group_id column two times.
    That is, bring group_id_1, group_id_2 (same column), sales
    Now in table 1,
    bring group_id_1, sales
    Then in selection steps for group_id_1 -> Select Members -> Action choose keep only -> choose the filter value 1
    This will filter the table 1 with group_id 1
    In table2 bring group_id_2, sales
    Then do the same step for group_id_2 with value 2.
    now in same report you have two reports with different filter.
    If you want you can keep the same column name for both group_id columns, I just kept group_id_1, group_id_2 for easy reference.

  • Time Management - Work Schedule /Absence Quota / Part-time quota generation

    Hi Experts,
    Need your help!
    We have a requirement where we need to create distinct work schedules for each irregular / part-time work pattern and the number of work patterns we have identified is more than 1000.  We are using report RPTQTA00 to generate quota. We have used work contract, employee sub-group & employee payscale group in the QUOMO feature to get the base entitlement picked up. We have defined base entitlement for the full time workschedules with 37.0 / 38.5 hours and there is a reduction rule which reduce the absence entitlement for part time employees as per the employement percentage in IT0007. Now we have a scenario where we have created a work schedule with different no of hours for each day of week (M-4, T-6, W-4, TH-6, F-4, S-OFF, SU - OFF); this work schedule is treated as full time work pattern by the system and quota is generated as full time work schedule refering to the QUOMO settings, but as per my client employees with this work schedule have reduced hours of working hours (24 hours, not 37.0 or 38.5 hours)and hence it should be treated as part-time employees, and the quota generated should be proportionately reduced. I have very limited scope to create any ESG or PSG as we do not have any distinct emplyee sub-groups maintained for full-time and part-time employees and the project has already gone-live with payroll/time. It is worth mentioning over here that we are recording absence through ESS and it takes into account the daily planned working time maintained in IT0007, so we are very particular to keep it as accurate as possible.
    I would really appreciate if somebody can please suggest any possible solution for the above issue, or guide me on what would be the best way to tackle it. I can give more details in case anybody need to have a better understanding of the issue to suggest a solution.

    Yes, i have found the solution to it. I do not know whether it will fit into your situation or not, but i got two solutions for my issue mentioned above, please check it may help:
    1) To use capacity utilization field in IT0008 to get the FTE hours and defining the reduction rule of absence quota based on the capacity utilazation percentage.
    2) There are three user exits available in the standard report RPTQTA00, i have used one of them to write my own rules for the calculations (deduction rule)

  • Advice needed for using date type in leave quota generation.

    Requirement:   Seniority for quota generation of long service leave must be based on date "02" in IT0041.
    Although all the relevant config has been done using the date type 02, the quota is still being generated based on date type 01. 
    My Question:  What is required to make this scenario work?

    The client has requirement like Base Entitlement is based on personal area......
    Example:
    Casual Leave :
    Personal Area (1001) has Base Entitlement : 20 days
    Personal Area (1002) has Base Entitlement : 25 days
    Personal Area (1003) has Base Entitlement : 30 days
    In the Base Entitlement screen i can give the Entitlement based on seniority or age. how can i give different entitlements for different personal areas for the same quota type? can we input through a PCR? please help....

    The requirement is quite generic and doesnt require any PCR .We can control it with normal Config.In SPRO> Time Management> Time data Recording and Administration--> Setting Groupings for Time Quota types -->Group Personnel SubArea for time Quota type (V_503_E)
    Please set a different grouping for ur Personnel Subareas and do the config.Your issue will be resolved.

  • Quota generation after organizational reassignment

    Hi all:
    Has anyone come across the issue below? If so, what steps did you take to remedy this?
    We generate quotas via RPTIME00. The main issue is that after an org. change, once time evaluation processes on the day of the accrual (in the new PSG), the employee errors out in time evaluation with the following error, "Error entry no.83 Error when creating absence quota. A complex application error has occurred".
    This is because in the old PSG the employee had absence quota types 01, 02, 03, 04. Under the new PSG, the employee has different absence quotas types because their entitlements are different based on seniority.
    For example, in the old PSG, the quota 01 will be used for service years 1 - 3. In the new PSG, quota 01 will be used for service year 1, quota 2 for service year 2, and so on. Because they are still in the
    same service year when the org. change takes place, the system errors out in the new PSG because it is reading quota 01 (old PSG) and it should be generating accrual for quota 02 in the new PSG.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    Hi:
    Upon the assignment to the new PSA, the system recognizes the change and processes the new quota selection rules.  However, because the validity period still exists prior to the date of the transfer the error message in time evaluation occurs because technically it cannot create the new quota type with those groupings for the employee prior to them transferring to the new PSA.
    How can the start of the validity period in the new PSA be changed to the transfer date?
