RadioGroup items not working in Warnsave procedure

Question

I have been using some javascript to check to see if any items were changed and warn user before exiting. It seems to work fine on all pgaes eccept those that have radiogroup type items. Any page that has a radio group item only seems to check the items up to the radiogroup and exits out 9even though there are changed items below it). has anybody seen this behavior and addressed it?
