Re: Ebuy now complaint

Hi,
We have ordered a base station and phone on october 25th off ebuy and have received a conifrmation of our order in early november, however to date -9th December 2012 - we have not received any goods. This is very frustrating! We have asked for feedback a few days ago, but have not received an answer. We have checked the spam folder and there is no email from ebuy either. Could you please check FYEHFX? I am wondering if this is a bogus setup...

    I bought a freetalk connect me device last year.  We were very pleased with it for the first few months.  But then it stopped working.  We could receive and make calls within the US but calls to our UK skype in number failed as did calls to the UK on our newly purchased subscription.   We sought help from skype as calls were able to be made and received at least in one country which seemed to indicate the device was working.  Skype referred us to ebuy now. 
    So nearly two months later following very little response to 'tickets' from e buy now and finally some weeks ago a promise to replace the device nothing has happened.  E buynow comfirmed our mailing address and promised an email informing us that the device was on the way.  HOWEVER no such email was ever received (and please don't suggest its in spam because it isn't) and there has been no more information despite a couple of inquiries. Nor has there been any sign of a replacement device.
    Customer service seems an alien concept to both skype and ebuy now.  How skype can actually promote a product which has such poor customer support is a mystery to me. 
    I have to say I would not recommend this device to anyone because of the difficulty in resolving problems.  And that is sad because when it works it is really good. 
    I still hope to get that replacement device and get it working before my three month subscription which I have not been able to use that much because of this runs out.  But I am rapidly losing hope!

    I went on the Skype website to see which Skype phone they would recommend. Thinking that Skype would not want to harm their own reputation I thought that this was a very safe way to go.
    I got al excited and ordered the phone. Payment was handelled through a company called eBuy Now. I didn't think twice since I thought that they had to provide great service if a large company like Skype wants to be associated with them.
    However, I was very wrong. I have been waiting for my order a long time now. Nothing has arrived and none of my support tickets have been answered. In the process now of canceling the payment through my credit card company, since that seems to be the only party here willing to talk.
    Shame on eBuy Now and shame on Skype for enabling this company to waste customers time and money like this.

    I had investigated the support tickets you had submitted to the eBuyNow Support team and both support tickets MWXHX and MWLHW were replied to giving you a status update of your order.  A notification email was automatically sent to you from email "[email protected]" once the replies were sent to you.  We are sorry if you did not receive these email notifications in your IN BOX.  Your SPAM filter may have pushed those emails to your SPAM or TRASH folders, so please white list "[email protected]" so that you may receive emails from eBuyNow.  
    When you had placed your order, there was an "Available on May 30" notice in the shopping cart showing beside the GE Digital Cordless Expandable Telephone.  This product was offered for sale with this pre-order date.  The shopping cart also states that once an order is shipped, normal delivery time is 7-10 days.
    The notice you did receive informing you of the slight delay due to clearing customs was sent to all of eBuyNow's customers as soon as a firm date was given by customs of the inventory arrival. Inventory has arrived and an email will be sent to you by the Support Manager at eBuyNow asking you to confirm if you would prefer a refund or to go ahead and ship your order.
    I hope you found my post helpful and please be assured that eBuyNow is greatful to all its customers and provide updates to their customers as soon as possible.

    I placed my order over a week ago.  The status is still "processing".  I do not understand how it can take this long.  I am unable to speak with anyone there.  I was told it would ship in the next day or two, but the status is still "processing".  Please help.

  • Buying on skype shop and ebuy now

    I wanted to share my experience with buying ge phone on skype shop. Fiest,  I ve been a skype user for years, mostly happy with it.
    I ve decided to buy a ge phone to  be sent to canada. It was supposed to arrive within 7 to 10 days , free shipping. It is mentioned as soon as you try to order. Fooooorget it .
    What is mentioned while you buy the product is not true. When you contact ebuy-now  support, which do not answer in 24 hours like they claim they do ,  they say it actually might take up to 20 days.
    20 days was too long for me. I wanted to cancel but oif course, as they anwsered to late, not even esponding to my question, parcel was gone and cancellation not possible.
    Product arrived 20 days later  and the post office asked me 11 dollars to get the phone.
    I feel like i ve been bull**bleep**ed all the way. They knew it would not ever take 10 days, never mentioned something would have to be paid and did not answer on time.
    Be careful before ordering anything. Don't expect it to be delivered on time and realise you ll have to pay something on arrival.
    It s just very bad cutomer care and business attitude.

    I have recently had a similar experience (ebuy support). I purchased a freetalk connectme adaptor. I have had trouble with the installation and I keep getting the run around. The problem is when I try to setup it won't connect to the network website. Everything else on the model works and the error I get the one time I connected told me I wasn't connected. Go figure. If anyone has any ideas I am listening.

    I had ordered a desktop phone through ebuynow from the skype website on the 13th Dec 2012. I have not received this as yet. I have left a support ticket query on ebuynow website, which they promised to get back to me within 24 hours, its already been 96 hours, so cant do anything except wait. The details:

    ORDER DATE: 13 December 2012.
    I presume, if they think themselves as a reputable company, then they should act like one and either deliver the product and do not charge for that or refund the money and also send a gift card. Thats what good companies do if they fail to live up on their customers expectations. SKYPE please keep less products but tie up with reliable companies. Would appreciate your timely response. I am not sure to whom to talk to - Skype or Ebuynow?

    I have ordered GE cordless phone a week ago from ebuy now. Order status is still unchanged and says: At warehouse. I have tried to contact them at two occasions but didn't received any reply. I just can't understand how can these guys be so unprofessional!? I have seen that I'm not the only one here being ignored from ebuynow people.
    Please help with this issue.

  • PSE 7 RAM Experiences Occasional RAM Issues

    I have noticed this a number of times and it is quite annoying.  When in the editor and formatting images, resizing them, correcting brightness, etc..., when you finally go to save, only after you have done the same thing a number of times, in this particular case only 4 times, the product displays a popup saying RAM is exhausted.  Its only using like 300MB at the time.  I assume the product has an internal memory leak and needs to be fixed.  I have other applications running of course, but frankly this is a honking system and there should be now complaints, it rarely has less than 2GB free RAM.
    Quad 9850 AMD
    Thermolake cooling
    4GB RAM
    Windows XP 64
    Any insights?

    One thing to remember about photoshop elements 7,
    is that elements 7 is a 32 bit program, so even though you have
    a 64 bit os, elements 7 can only use around 2 gb of ram (probably less).
    Having other programs running at the same time may use alot
    more ram than you think and running some of the filters
    on images in elements can really dig into your ram.
    Have you tried shutting down the other applications and
    does it make any difference?
    In the Edit>Preferences tab of the pse7 editor, what percentage
    of ram do have set?
    While some years ago 4gb of ram was alot, by todays standards
    it's not.

    I ordered a camera from ebuy now and it was on backorder for a long time so I eventually asked for a refund.  They said it would process in 48 hours and that was three weeks ago and still no refund.  I send emails weekly and get no response from them.  This is the worst company I have ever dealt with.

  • Lost Page Settings When Transferring To Web

    My homepage loses background colour and recent changes when I
    transfer it to my 1and1 hosting site. When I preview my homepage in
    Dreamweaver via Firefox or IE6 all settings and colours are fine
    but when the page is uploaded to my site they are lost.
    Can anyone tell me why this is?

    And after four months, even if you did have Find My iPhone set up, whoever has the iPhone now has almost certainly turned that feature off, one way or another.
    Sorry, but there's nothing anyone can do. At this point you can, I'm sorry to say, probably consider your iPhone gone forever.

    Same problems here with ticket FYHLQY. Adapter was purchased on Oct 20, 2012. Credit card was charged immediately. First response from eBuynow was on Nov. 2 stating that they did not have the adapter in stock. After a long process of exchanging information via their ticket system we agreed that the adapter would be delivered for January 4. Of course it was not delivered... I requested an update on January 11 but still no news five days later. Their so-called 24-hour service is a joke. One "feature" of their ticket system is that if you ask for an update before they answer you'll get sent back to the end of the queue!
    I'll wait for a couple more days and will then ask for a refund if they can't confirm shipment. If I do not get an answer, I'll file a complaint with my credit card company and will try to get my money back. I can think of a couple of things that are probably illegal in the way they do business and I find it very strange that Skype would associate with what appears to be a very bad business partner.
