Read LPT status on winXP

How can I read the parallel port status on windows XP with java ?
I look at javax.comm but it seems it can't....

There is a way the use this with win XP/2000 with UserPort, but it can't work for me since I have two parallel port and the port adresse is 0x278 (I have already tried it a year ago I knwo it can't work...)
Is there something like parport for win XP/2000 ? Is there a new sun package wich do it ? or something else ?

..Primavera\Project Management\PM.ini cannot be set to read-write status

I have installed Primavera P6.1 in a laptop under Administrator Login.
After that, when I log in to the laptop with my user Id, primavera fails to start and gives the following message:
C:\Program Files\Primavera\Project Management\PM.ini cannot be set to read-write status.

server.

Can we read the status of a particular pin in the Parallel port(LPT1)?

I have a Camera.I'm trying to read the status of the camera by connecting it to the parallel port.The camera has a DB26 ,high-density I/O connector .A high level on pin 19 indicates that the camera power is switched on(+5v =on ,0v=off).I want to read the status of this pin by connecting it to the parallel port.Can i read the status of a particular pin in parallel port thru LABVIEW? if so how ? Any help in this regard is appreciated.

Yahoo read mail status not syncing in Mail App

Hello all.
Perhaps you can help with a problem I'm having with syncing read message status in Mail on my Macbook. I sure the Mail App and an Iphone. When I read a message on the iPhone, the message continues appearing as unread in Mail on the Macbook. If I exit Mail and then restart it, the message then correctly appears as read. If I read the mail on the macbook, its read status does sync up with the iPhone, and the iPhone shows it as read.
I'm using IMAP for Yahoo in the Mail app on the macbook. I have this problem with Mail on Tiger, Snow Leopard, and Lion, with multiple people on multiple macs, so it's not email account, machine, or user related. I don't have this problem with Thunderbird - that syncs read status fine. Only in the Apple Mail App.

Your guess is as good as ours (everyone here is just a user like yourself). This problem has been around since December last year (search the Safari forum for 'yahoo business' and you should find a few threads discussing it).
In those threads, responses from Yahoo say the issue is with Apple. Historically, Yahoo has been pretty abysmal when it comes to making their sites compatible with Safari/Macs though so I'd be inclined to take their statement with a small pinch of salt...

How to read the status changed in crmd_order txn before saving it to DB.

My requirement is to perform some checks after the user changes the status
( Before saving it to DB i need to do some checks )
I could find the BADI and Fm's for checking conditions.
My question is i need to check for a particular status change how do i trace that that particular status which i need to capture has been changed??
i could see some FM's but it is only fetching the staus save in DB.
how do i trace the status just after user changes before saving it to DB.
it's an urgent requirement............pls help me on this..........

FM to read yellow status requests from transactional InfoCube

Hi,
I am using the FM RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ to read data from the transactional InfoCube. My problem is that my code using this FM should be able to read data requests that have the yellow status for the transactional InfoCube.
My code using this FM is able to read data from the green requests only but not the yellow requests. I was told in BPS, the yellow requests should turn green automatically after 50K of records have been queue up and ready to be turned green by itself.
Has anyone come across this and help me solve this issue of reading data using FM RSDRI_INFOPROV_READ to read yellow request data. Is there another FM to read both the green and yellow requests?

The function module mentioned by you is correct and it will read the yellow requests please try this, by default the parameter i_rollup_only is set as true set it to false (blank) while calling the function module.

Determine the read/unread status of a message in a users inbox

Is there any way to see the current status of a read/unread message attribute. The email is confidential and the user is not supposed to see it. The sender wants assurance that the email was not read. He wont accept a screen shot as the email could always
be marked as unread. I have tried MSMAPI but the attribute doesn't seem to be listed, though I cant determine the Hex code meaning. Thanks for any leads.

is just a flag on the message (PR_MESSAGE_FLAGS), it can be changed and it cannot guarantee you if the message was actually read. Confidential mail should be encrypted or IRM-protected, so you can blame the sender as much as the recipient.

How to read EWA Status...

i,e if i click on a particular solution in DSWP, it shows Last scheduled date, last received date etc.....
How can i fetch these deatils through tables or function modules...

The result in DSWP is a page and it reads data mainly from the DSVA* tables.
There are multiple tables from where the data is read.

Does "read / unread status" work consistently with the current version of iPad os and Exchange?

I'm having issues with "read / unread" email status syncing successfully between iOS devices and Outlook/Exchange.
Reading an email on the iPad only marks the email as "read" on Outlook about 50% of the time, and vice versa.
Syncing "red flags" on emails is inconsistent as well.
I'm unsure if this is just a quirk with iPad / iOS, or if this is an issue my hosted Exchange provider needs to look into.
Does read/unread sync work consistently for the rest of you? Thanks.\

We run Exchange 2010 with Activesync and we don't notice any issues with our exchange setup. Either on iPhones or iPads.

Apple Mail not refreshing 'read' message statuses (GMAIL IMAP)

I have the following reproducible bug, when using three different IMAP interfaces to my GMail account: Apple Mail, iPhone Mail, GMail Web
1. Viewing a mail in Apple Mail, causes it to be marked as read in iPhone Mail and GMail Web
2. Viewing a mail in GMail Web, causes it to be marked as read in iPhone Mail, but NOT Apple Mail
3. Viewing a mail in iPhone Mail, causes it to be marked as read in GMail Web, but NOT Apple Mail
In summary, viewing GMail IMAP messages outside of Apple Mail, does not change the message status in Apple Mail.
It seems like the 'read' flag is correctly being set by all apps (or rather by the IMAP protocol on GMail's side) as the process is fine between iPhone Mail and GMail web.
I think that Apple Mail is not refreshing the 'read' flags. This is further proved by closing Apple Mail and relaunching, which causes all 'read' flags to be refreshed and show the correct statuses.
