Reading exception in Seeburger receiver

Hello,
I am trying to configrue IDoc (ORDERS05) to EDI (850) file scenario using Generic Seeburger adapter. While generating file the Seeburger FTP adapter is throwing following error
caught ReadingException: Length limit exceeded - no SEG. delim. found!!! DESCRIPTION: InhouseDocReader causes an ReadingException while trying to read the next segment of current file, abort
2010-06-03 11:04:42 Error SEEBURGER BICXIADAPTER.MODULE Message could not be forwarded from the Module (CallBicXIRa) to the JCA adapter.
I had configured following modules in Seeburger FTP Receiver adapter
localejbs/CallBicXiBean with parameters
destDelimiter and srcDelimiter as :,*'!~ and mapping name as See_E2X_ANSIX12_850_V4010
localejbs/ModuleProcessorExitBean with paramter JNDIName as deployedAdapters/SeeXIFTP/shareable/SeeXIFTP.
Is any extra parameter required to specify SEG delim. I couldn't find any field of standard 850 message type representing segment delimiter.

Hi All,
I was able to get rid of above problem by changing the parameter mappingName. Now i am getting error while connecting to FTP server.
We are presently checking the output into our local FTP directory and receiving the below error

Host path <Directory in which i am pushing the file>
Script file <blank>
I am able to connect to above FTP server using normal file adapter.

Newly installed SAP G7A PI 7.1(Acceptance box) was already released to customer.
We are doing an initial test (BAT phase), wherein, our end-to-end scenario is, from a EP Portal application ---> G7A PI 7.1 --> Trading Partner via AS2 protocol.
G7A PI is connected to Trading Partner via AS2 protocol.
Currently, our EP Portal application is in-active at the moment, that's why we used 'manual XI submitter', to send a message from G7A PI itself going to Trading Partner.
The message was success in the Integration engine of G7A PI, and the output message was produced.
As the message reached the Adapter Engine layer of G7A PI, we encountered a specific error,

Basically, "Could not create CPAObjectMapper - InvocationTargetException caused by Could not read Header Mapping in Receiver Agreement"
I am thinking, one of the possible cause is that we used manual XI submitter, in G7A PI, instead of the utilizing the actual Sending system (EP Portal application).
Or possible cause is that the AS2 adapter in G7A is not yet stable, thus causing the issue.
We've already done successful connection when we're in GDD PI (Development box) during our SIT phase.
Objects in G7A were mirror of GDD PI.
Kindly advise for your inputs.

It seems that the cause of the error is the unstable performance of the PI box, since, this was newly installed and there were patches that were not yet added.

I am trying to configure the Idoc to EDI scenario using Seeburger file Adapter.
I have configured IBM Information exchange as message protocol with the following parameters of Seeburger Receiver adapter

But still I am getting following error while connecting to FTP sever.

are you using generic EDI file adapter?
which are the modules you have attached in your CC?
check in NWA log it will give you some hint, re- check with the ftp adapter pdf of seeburger....

SeeBurger Receiver VAN/FTP Adapter: where to mention the target path

I am using SeeBurger VAN/FTP adapter for IDOC-XI-EDI scenario.
In seeburger receiver VAN/FTP adapter, where I have to set the target path. My target path is very long (15 characters).
I am able to configure Host, Port, User id and password.
Please suggest where to put the path name in seeburger receiver VAN/FTP adapter.

Can you please tell me which VAN provider you are meant to use? It is the same question which Prateek asked above 'which protocol' without this it is hard to help dude.
I just checked and half of them don't want you to use this field 'host path;
Also the error is different ...
1) Are you doing FTP or FTPS?
2) which VAN/Protocol

Decrypt and unzip a File + read a XML file received into the ZIP

I need your help to develop some a complex Biztalk application.
Here're my needs :
Our Busness partner send us a zip file cripted with a standard PGP(Pretty Goof Privacy).
The zip containts an XML file that i have to deal it, and some attachments file(PDF).
So i need to know what's the best approach for the developpement of my application.
I want to decrypt the ZIP and then Unzip the file and them read the XML file received in the zip.
Knowimg that we already have the pipeline compenent to dectypt the file with the strandar PGP and an other pipeline compenent to unzip the File.

This message can occure at multiple places. Most of these are status reading and checking in the /SCA/CL_SVORDER class. The following methods can throw this message:
CHECK_ITEM_EXCEPTION_STATUS
You can set a BP at line 20 and debug the STATUS_CHECK function.
GET_ITEM_EXCEPTION_STATUS
You can set a BP at line 29 and debug the STATUS_READ function.
READ_ITEM_EXCEPTION_STATUS
You can set a BP at line 31 and debug the /scmb/cl_odm=>get3_by_id method.

When trying to open file I get msg "You did'nt login or your session has expired. Please log in to read this document for the first time". (Like I said I have read it before). So I log in but that prompts me to give the name of the file I want to export or convert to Word or something else, which is not what I want to do of course. I have not purchased any service from Adobe or Acrobat as I only need to read. Thanks for your help..

File transport does not have read/write privileges for receive location???

Hi all.
I try to read an EDI-file from a file location.
In configured the receive location but when I enable it I get an error message in the log saying:
File transport does not have read/write privileges for receive location "Location" (Event ID: 7183)
The location is correct (I used the browse option) and the folder is shared with all users (full access for everybody).
How can I get rid of this error

Error 56 occurred at TCP Read in MB Ethernet Receive.vi

My sensor uses MODBUS TCP and operates as a slave device. Currently I'm using Labview 7.1 on my PC and would like to communicate w/ sensor as a Master. I downloaded MODBUS library from ni developer zone. I want to read 14 discrete outputs (coils). I believe MB Ethernet Master Query.vi is most appropriate to use for my application. I put this block into my *.vi inside of a while loop, hooked up the connection ID, configured it with address start/quantity, and ran. The error I got says: "Error 56 occurred at TCP Read in MB Ethernet Receive.vi->MB Ethernet Master Query.vi->...*.vi". I have confirmed that TCP is working with Labview because I can receive other non-MODBUS sensor data from my device via TCP/IP using a different *.vi I created. However this data is received though a different port than the typical 502 MODBUS port. I have also confirmed MODBUS is working on my device using a 3rd party Polling Utility that reports register status.
I currently do not have NI-VISA 3.0.1, VISA Server 3.0.0, or Measurement & Automation Explorer (MAX) version 3.1.1 installed on my PC. Do I absolutely need these products to do what I need to do?
Any thoughts why I am not able to get this setup working?
Also, I am embarking on developing several MODBUS applications after this. Would it be a good idea to upgrade my version of Labview to gain more MODBUS functionality w/ Labview? I'm somewhat new to Labview and am a little confused on which products would really help me for working on MODBUS applications and if those products are compatible with my 7.1 version.

If you can use TCP/IP in Labview then you should be okay as far as that is concerned. The Ethernet Modbus VIs use LabVIEW TCP VIs underneath; the Serial Modbus VIs use VISA underneath. So unless you want to try the serial VIs if that's a possibility, then you should be okay without VISA.
The error 56 is a time-out error and is generated when an operation
exceeds the user-specified time limit. This error is caused by the
LabVIEW code not receiving a network response in the defined time
limit. The default time-out limit is 5 seconds, which should be enough,
although you can increase this time-out value as an input for the MB
Ethernet Master Query.vi. Since you get the time-out when you are
reading instead of the initialization lets us know that you are able to
open the TCP port correctly.
What is the address you entering into the MB Ethernet Master Query.vi in the Modbus Command constant? You may need to use relative addressing instead of absolute addressing, or vice versa.

The file is in Farsi language but when it converted I couldn't find a word to read except those are in the left side and under the Headings, Notification. Invalid Signature Exception in Swift Receiver Channel

Hi,
We are using sap swift package for PI.We have BCM signing the file in ECC and PI validating the signature before sending the file out to the bank via the swift broker.
We have configured as per these notes
Note 1144603 - BCM: Back-end signature for data medium
Note 1153053 - BCM: Backend signature for data medium
Created the FINBRM certificate in STRUST in ECC.
Deployed this certificate in PI.
However we still get nvalidSignatureException when we run the interface on the receiver channel.
com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: com.sap.xi.swift.ParserException: com.sap.xi.swift.InvalidSignatureException.
Any ideas?

It might be due to certificate not installed properly or invalid or expired certificate. Talk to Basis and verify in keystore that you have the valid certs stored.

Exception handling in receiver sync SOAP comm channel

Hi experts,
We are developing following synchronous scenario: sRFC to SOAP.
In this, XI sends some data to an application and the application sends back the response. No problem so far.
However, this application can throw exceptions that we want to send back to SAP, these exceptions are not part of a message and we can only see them AS AN ERROR IN SXI_MONITOR in the receiver SOAP header, in the error tab, they look like:
"com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: SOAP: response message contains an error XIAdapter/PARSING/ADAPTER.SOAP_EXCEPTION - soap fault:
Questions:
Is there any way to get these exceptions from the application and send them back to SAP as if they were the SOAP.response message??
What if we select Keep headers in the receiver SOAP channel?
do we need to create a fault message type and assign it in ID?
Any ideas?

check for the possibility of raising an alert which has SXMS_TO_ADAPTER_ERRTXT as the Container variable....so if there is an error this alert variable will get populated and you will receive an alert....applicable only for adapter engine alert...
