Hi, I see I haven't had any responses but these problems haven't been fixed.
I still haven't been able to transfer purchases from my phone to my comp so consequently have stopped purchasing on my phone.
I bought a couple of albums recently via itunes on my comp, and tried to tranfer them to my phone via a playlist, but the sync often crashes. One album transferred except for one song, and the other hasn't at all. What happens is that when I autofill from a playlist it often hangs for ages on the first song and then I have to quit the application altogether as nothing happens for ages. Basically, the whole Itunes software freezes.
After this I find it hasn't transferred any songs, but they do appear greyed out on my phone, which means it has transferred some basic data such as the titles, but not the song itself. When I try to repeat the process to complete the transfer Itunes tells me that it can't transfer because the songs are already on the phone, but they are not!! I can't click or remove on the greyed out items, so now I have a couple of almost full albums on my computer that I can't tranfer or install on my phone, and a whole bunch of greyed out songs on my phone that I can't play or remove!
The rest of the problems as above still stand. I downloaded the latest itunes OS updates but nothing's changed. I haven't done the very latest iphone update yet though because it says you need to make sure your stuff is backed up, and I don't want to lose the purchases I made on the phone that I can't transfer to my comp. I'm planning on uninstalling itunes completely and reinstalling but I have little faith that this will fix the issue.

Your earlier phone must have been originally intended for sale in another country and must have been purchased from somewhere other than an authorized Apple retailer. Phones that are intended to be sold in the UAE have FaceTime permanently disabled. The option is not there and cannot be made to work.

Hello everybody, I have the following problem: my apple id was desabled for security reason and I have to reset my password to enable the account again, but when I try to do this, using the e-mail, I've never received such e-mail. When I chose to do this by the security answers, it's not work again, because does not accept my birth date. Can you please somebody help with this issue? Thanks in advance
If you have a rescue email address on your account then you've checked the inbox and spam folder on that account as well, and you've tried requesting the email again ? If you still can't find it then try contacting Support in your country and see if they can reset it for you.

just bought a new iphone 4s 16gb my sim worked correctly after puting and old profile on the phone so I could get all the info now it says invalid sim what can I do o fix this?
I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone. Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.

When I installed the new IOS for my I phone, the progam asked me to log in with my apple ID the problem is , the ID that was pre stablished is my old ID and it is not working any more. My question is how do I change the pre setted ID and change it for the new one?
You have to delete the old account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

Paid for the music but it never downloaded: Little help please?
Alright, I paid for two songs from the iTunes music store and started to download them when I was booted offline. I got back on, and they started to download again only to get booted off a second time.
I have dial-up, so when its important people can voice mail and for some reason that boots us offline.
Anyway, I wasn't able to get back online till many hours later, and found that, not only did they not restart the download, but I've been charged the two dollars only to find nothing in my purchased folder and nothing in my library. Welcome to the Apple Community.
Start here, and reset your password, you will receive an email with your new password, then go to manage your account > Password and Security and change your security questions.
If that doesn't help you might try contacting Apple through iTunes Store Support -
Password to turn off iPhone for security reasons
I live in Mexico City and we get our iphones robbed a lot, my suggestion is that the password could also block turning off the phone so we can use "find my iphone". It would certainly increase the security for us. What do you think?
