Reconcile a scenario

Is there a way to Reconcile a previously created scenario, after which base data has been changed, without going to the planning sheet again to show the pop up.
say something like, checking the base data directly and reconcile the scenario to the base data, without popup or user notification?

You can use following isadmin command:
alter system reconcile active response

  • SAP SWIFT as replacement for IWAY adapter

We are planning to replace the current IWAY adapter with the SAP SWIFT, however, it is found out that its usage is very different from the IWAY. Currently, we have several interfaces that use the IWAY adapter, basically, it is maintained in the DESIGN and has a metadata adapter which enables it to be used by the interfaces in the CONFIG. However, for the SAP SWIFT, there is no metadata adapter in it, it looks like just an ordinary stand alone interface having objects in both design and config. I am just wondering on how would the interfaces be able to use this SAP SWIFT? are there major changes in the interfaces (mapping, config, etc.) to be done in order to utilize the SAP SWIFT?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
I dont think SAP SWIFT will replace IWAY adapter ,IF you refered my first replay you will find below info, which explined clearly

  • Sub contracting CIN scenario

    Scenario 1
I have 2 plants. One manufacturing plant & another is import & local sales plant. No manufacturing activity in 2nd plant.I am
creating 2nd plant as vendor & supplying subcontracting materials to the plant from plant 1 with a PO.I am generating 57f challan
also for the material issued.A 3rd party vendor is doing repair in the plant 2 (vendor) & the material is is received in plant 1 again &
challan is reconciled. Then it is sold to customer. Is this cycle correct?
Scenario 2-The only change in this is, i create a PO as  free goods & generate 57f & all other are same. But when i reconcile
the 57F the system prompts to reverse challan or do not reverse? Why is the difference is this of Free goods PO.
Which cycle has to be followed in scenario the first or second?

    Hi,
First scenario will be the right procedure as of my knowledge. You may test the scenario and validate the excise postings.

  • How to deal with BRS for the below scenario?

    Hi,
I would like to know the solution for the below scenario for BRS:
I have a customer who was maintaining their accounts with Tally software for their previous Financial Year. This year they have shifted to SAP B1 2005B. They have issued few cheques for their vendors in the month of march 2008 which has been realised in the month of April 2008. As per Tally, the closing balance of their bank is 8 Lakh but as per the bank statement, their closing balance is 23 Lakhs. In SAP, the opening Balance for the bank is considered as 23 Lakhs. Now there are 15 Lakh worth cheques which were not realised for the month of March 2008.
    Example:
    abc a/c - 3Lakh
    def a/c - 5lakh
    xyz a/c - 7 lakh
How do i reconcile for this scenario and what procedures do i follow in SAP?
    Thanks and Regards,
    Kaushal

    Hi Kamlesh,
    Thanks for your response.
Actually, In the "Process External Bank Statement" window, i see that there are few entries which is for the previous year and which has not been reconciled. I have never worked practically on BRS and hence, i am scared to make any changes in the clients database without being confident on what i am doing. I need to reconcile for one of their Bank a/c for the month of April '08. I have the copy of the statements for the month ending 31st Mar 08 and 30th Apr 08. The closing balances are as below:
    31/03/08 - 2300000.00
    30/04/08 - 3100000.00
Now my OB for Bank a/c for April '08 in SAP is 2300000.00 Dr.
When i go to External Bank Reconciliation - Selection Criteria Screen (Manual Reconciliation), here are the detail that i enter:
Last Balance: INR -7,000,000.00000 (Grayed out by the system)
Ending Balance: INR -3,100,000.00000 (Entered by me)
End Date: 30/04/08 (Entered by me)
"Reconciliation Bank Statement" Screen opens up and shows the below balances in the screen:
    Cleared Book Balance: INR -7,000,000.00000
    Statement Ending Balance: INR -3,100,000.00000
    Difference: INR 3,800,000.00000
As per the Bank statement, i have found all the transactions listed out here for the month of Apr '08 but, i also found that the open transactions for the previous month from April '08 have been lying in "Process External Bank Statement" window.
Could you please help me solve my issue as to what needs to be done or could you also get me some links from where i can get few documents for processing External Bank Reconciliations?
That will be of a great help for me. I need steps as to what needs to be done first and then the next so that i can arrive at the correct closing balance for the month April '08.
    Thanks in Advance....

  • How to reconcile Payments of A/P Request with A/P Invoices

    Dear All,
    I've got following scenario:
    1) I create Purcase Order
    2) I create A/P Request against this Purchase Order
    3) I make outgoing payment against this request
    4) Now I create A/P Invoice against the Purchase Order
Problem 1 : First of all I don't get the advance payment made in the step 3 when i choose Total Down Payment button at A/P invoice.
Problem 2 : If above problem is not possible, then I wanted to adjust the advance payment made in step 3 with the a/p invoice made in step 4. But when i try to reconcile these two from Business Partner - Internal Reconcillation - Reconcilation, I get an error "Payment transaction applied to down payment request cannot be reconciled here." As i cannot reconcile these two, system shows both the transactions as open.
    Pl. help.

    Dear Gordon/chin,
A/P Request is not a financial document. agreed. but i hope the outgoing payment which we make against this request is a financial document. which shud be allowed to reconcile.
This is very specific accounting requirement. which can be resolved only with A/P Requet and not by A/P Down Payment Invoice. I'll let u know the difference between these two and explain why i need A/P DP Request and not AP DP Invoice.
    1) General Accounting practice says when u pay advance to any supplier, it shud be shown in asset. * Problem : with A/P DP Invoice, this is posted in liability (control a/c of supplier is in liability).
    2) Also this payment done to supplier shud always be shown to supplier with debit balance.
    3) with A/P DP Invoice, supplier is first credited. And when we do outgoing payment, it is again debited. * Problem : Here supplier is shown with zero balance. which contradicts with General Accounting practice which says any adavances paid to supplier shud show debit balance.
    4) while doing A/P invoice (of amount say 5000) , when u assign A/P DP Invoice (of amount say 1000) , invoice amount is reduced by down payment amount (5000-1000=4000). this makes wrong presentation of invoice amount as 4000 instead of 5000. This contradicts General Accounting practice.
with A/P DP Request, all of the above requirements are fulfilled. but i'm unable to adjust that advance against any other document.
so i need solution for this or any other work around to meet this requirement.

  • Alerting for complete async scenario

I'm new to XI and I need advice from XI experts.
Could any one explain me how to setup the alert scenario for complete async scenario in case of any errors in XI like mapping error etc. I have gone through some alert config documents but what I'm looking for is, suggestions and recommondations for as how to implement alert scenario for async processes. how is it implemented in async and sync processes in real time. whats the good approach for alerting and error handling.
    Thanks,
    Sudha Madhuri

    HI,
You can use alerts for alert the msg/error msg to user with/without interpt the process or while processing the msg.
In Async process you can use alerts in UDF or through BPM.
In Sync , you can raise alerts through BPM.
Also reconcile the process with BPM.

  • Reconcile Inventory BI Content Queries with ECC

    Hi Folks,
I have a question regarding reconciling Inventory Management BI Content reports based on cube 0IC_C03 with ECC.
We implemented IM in BI, and now try to reconcile the queries with ECC. Specifically, I have one query, 0IC_C03_Q0008 - Stock in Transit.
We ran the report by Plant, in BI, it only showed one material with #, but people from ECC side use T-Code MB5T in ECC and saw many materials with Stock in Transit for that Plant; and for the material showed on BI report, the # doesn't match between BI and ECC.
What is the right way to reconcile the report with ECC? is there any other report/Tcode in ECC we can use?
Any insight ideas would be much appreciated!
    Thanks,
    Freda

    Hi Freda,
For me, it is the typical nightmare to try to reconcile the cube to your ECC transactions since the cube summarizes and doesn't include your material documents.
So, to make it a bit easier to match MB5T or MB51, add an ODS with a material document and Material item key and all of the fields and key figures necessary for reconciliation (I usually look at the datasource's delivered fields and add whatever sounds reasonable to look at).  To fill records in this ODS, only fill them from 2LIS_03_BF, because BX and UM do not contain material documents.
While I was writting this, I think I realize what is happening in your situation.  If memory serves me correctly, MB5T is Cross-Company SIT, which is not part of the 2LIS_03* datasources.  They only account for Intra-Company (Plant-to-Plant within the same company code) SIT.  For that, there is a White Paper you can have an ABAP'er implement for you.
Here are two good documents you should read and be familiar with:
How to .... Report on Cross Company Stock in Transit: https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/92c0aa90-0201-0010-17b1-bf5b11c71257

Also, when comparing my cube data to ECC/R/3, I use transaction MMBE in the ECC to identify stock quantities and stock in transit (SIT).

  • Reconcile amounts paid to external vendor for Travel bookings

    All,
We are implementing travel expenses in SAP. Employees can use an external provider for booking flight reservations. This external vendor invoices the company for  these expenses on a weekly basis. After the trip is undertaken, the employee enters the expenses. How do we reconcile the money that has been paid to the travel agency and the trips expeenses.
    scenario
Step 1 - Employee calls up travel agency and books flight ticket to, say, California. The cost of ticket is 1000 Dollars.
Step 2 - Employee undertakes the trip.
Step 3 - Employee enter the trip expenses. They enter the flight costs that have already been paid by the company as expense type "flght paid" and the difference amounts are paid to the employee.
    "Flight paid"    - 1000
    Hotel              - 500
The employee is paid 500 dollars through FI.
Now the task of travel administrators is to check whether the amounts invoiced by the travel agencey match the amounts entered by the employees. They also want to ensure that employees mistakenly or intentionall do not enter the receipt type as "Flight" insead of "Flight Paid" when they are filling the travel expenses. What is the best way to handle this reconcilation issyes in travel management.
Appreciate any inputs on this issue.
    regards
    Sam

    Hello Sam,
There are 2 options I could see here:
    1) In the release you can customise in table V_T706S_RECEIPT on which the User cannot use the Expense Type "Flight" per.
    2) You can use the User Exit EXIT_SAPMP56T_003. In this case it check the data before the user save the trip.

  • Interesting Scenario - Bank Reconciliation

    Hi Experts !
My client has a scenario where payment is received 100% advance from the customers who deposite the same directly into bank account accross different geographical locations.
Clients a/c dept. checks for receipt of payment through netbanking and makes an incoming payment 'On Account' against that customer and enters transaction id of the payment as seen in online bank statement.
The invoice is generated after payment recipt and the goods are despatched to the customer.
    The customers's requirement is ;-
    1) To reconcile incoming payments with external bank statement by matching the transaction id as entered at the time of incoming payment and as present in the bank statement.
It sometimes happens that either delibrately or by mistake the user enters wrong transaction id at incoming payment against the customer and the goods are dispatched. However that transcation id does not match when it is reconciled with bank statement.
How do I reconincile external bank statement with incoming payments ? The customer is using 2007B,PL06.
    Your inputs are much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Asap

    Hi Suda,
    Thanks for the reply !
More than the human error the question is to enable the system to prevent delibrate incorrect entries which has happened in the past.
Changing the transcation id field in the JE will work in case of entries with wrong id.
Could you please enlighten me on the possibility of matching external bank statement with the incoming payments?
    Regards,
    Asap

  • TDS on Payment (Indian Scenario)

    Hi,
Following are the steps to deduct TDS on advance payment to supplier in SAP.
    1. Make AP downpayment invoice
    2. Make outgoing payment
    3. AP Invoice
In this case what problem we are facing is that customer deduct TDS while making payment and if we use the step mentioned above Step 1 & 2 and check the supplier balance then it shows zero since system reconciles outgoing payment and Downpayment invoice.
So the user is actually confuse because till the time the AP invoice is raised they wont be able to understnd how much they have paid to supplier and alos able to generate report
any idea since this is common scenario is India.
    Solution will be highly appreciable

    Hi ,
Am also facing this same problem, If user is forgot to choose the down payment in invoice there is no track.
but as work arount  i ask user to check on monthly or 10days once "Down Payment Clearing Account" should be ZERO. else some down payment payment is not adjusted for invoices.
