Reconciliation account issue

Hi
We have assigned a reconciliation account 555555 in the vendor master and there are lot of invoices being posted under it. Now we came to know that this is wrong assignment and we have changed the reconciliation account to 555000 in the vendor master. But when we are doing the Payment run -- F110, still it is picking the reconciliation account as 555555 instead of 555000 in the payment document for all those invoices which posted with old account.
Is there any adjustment so that invoice posted to one reconciliation account can be paid in another reconciliation account or how can we solve this.
Regards,

hi
At the time of Vendor invocie posting ur reconcilation account in vendor master is 555555, befor run F110 u change the reconcilation account in Vendor master 555000.and if u run the F110 , the system pick up the vendor reconcilation account of 555555.its right
Becaue at the time of posting vendor invoice teh data goes to 555555 Vendor reconcilation acccounts.thats why.
U can do one thing, u run the Automatic payment F110 , related to 555555 vendor reconcilation account.then u transfer the total baalnce of 555555 to 555000 account. then u change the reconciltion account in vendor master, post new inoice related to new reconcilation account
If any query feel free ask me

  • Vendor Reconciliation Account change issue

    Hi,
I need to change the vendor reconciliation account.
for that i created another reconcliation account and assigned in master records.
After that i created adjustment account.
After that i assigned this adjustment account for old and new reconcliation accounts.
When i ran the FAGLF101, job successfully ended.
But no amount was transferred from old recon account to new recon account.
Please guide me on above issue.

    Kedar,
Thank you very much for your reply.
I done the changes said by you and got the entries in new adj. and old. adjust accounts.
Here i have a few questions.
    1) While doing balance sheet preparation shall i have to use the old recon. along with new recon. account?
    2) What is the actual use of adjustment account
    3) We are using ECC 6.0, after running of FAGLF101, does we need to run any transaction for balance sheet updates.
    Thanks in advance

  • How to find change in customer reconciliation account

    Hi Experts
We have an issue where total customer balance is not tallying with the balance as per Reconciliation account. We feel this could be because reconciliation account of a customer would have been changed.
Can you please let me know
    a) If there is a way to find list of customers whose reconciliation account is changed
    b) Any other reason that could cause difference between total of reconciliation account and total of customer balances.
    Thanks,
    Santosh

    Hi Santosh,
You can view the changes if you go to the master data of the GL account in question in FS03. TThen choose the tab "information Company code" (it is the last one.. type, control data etc...click in the little icon to drop down on the right.). Then choose 'Change documents' and this will display all the changes made to such account (you can swittech to 'all changes' and 'Technical names').
The differences can be caused for many different reasons- in fact there are some reports that can do some analysis for you: 1- If new GL is not active try report SAPF190 ( F.03) . 2- If New GL is active try report TFC_COMPARE_VZ in se38. If differences are reported you can send the spool to SAP for further analysis - they have a team of experts who can analyse this issue.
Unfortunately explaining all possible reasons and how to correct them would take ...  days.
    I hope this helps.
    Kind regards

  • Vendor - change of reconciliation account

    Hello
I have search a read a lot of articles about this problem, but unfortuantely without success.
My problem is that some vendors shall be have another reconciliation account, so I have changed the account in vendor master data. I know that this have no influence on existing vendor items, but will it be possible to change the reconciliation account for existing records via F101. I mean that the old reconciliation account will balance to 0 and instead be listed under the new reconciliation account?
I have tried to execute F101, but without success. The records on the vendor account is still linked to the old rec account. Is it possible to do anything automatically?

    Hello Søren Kirch,
The below two stepped approach may let you solve the issue.
    a) Change the Reconciliation Accounts either using the TCode XK07 or by the Function Module VENDOR_CHANGE_ACCOUNTGROUP in bulk
    b) Transfer either the Open Items (Item by Item) or the Balances accumulated on the Old Recon Account to the New Recon Account using the Program SAPF101. Ofcourse, this might need a little bit of customizing in OBBW. (The Transaction Key 'A00' has to be configured to determine the Adjustment Account for the original recon account and also the Posting Keys)
Though I have not done this myself, I believe and wish that this will work for you.

  • Vendor Payable Reconciliation Account at Profit Center Level

This is a general question about how people are tracking vendor payable reconciliation accounts at a profit center level.  We are running into scenarios where we cannot track the vendor payables at the profit center level because cross company postings are causing the document splitting to enter profit centers from different legal entities at the vendor payable GL account level.  Have other people ran into this problem?
    Thank you for your help!

    Hi
Your issue is not very clear. The Document Type is defined at Header and one accounting document can contain multiple profit centers

  • Asset Reconciliation Account

    Hello Experts-
I fell in a tricky situation at my work place. We have an asset reconciliation account which has a balance but, this balance does not correspond to any asset. When SAP Fixed assets was implemented here, they had a balance for this account and then have converted it into a reconciliation account. How do I create an asset which represents that balance as APC value? Or how would I transfer it from this reconciliation account to a clearing account so that I can create a real asset and transfer this APC to a real asset?
Any thoughts on this issue would be really appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.
    RNarayan

    Hi,
To post the balance values from the take over values from AS91 on the Asset Reconciliation Account
    You can use transaction:
    OASV
ABFI (use transaction type 100 and don't fill in an asset number)
The postings on these account are total postings by bussines area and there is no 1:1 relation with assets like with debtors and credititors. (when you run the depreciation it create total amounts

  • F.13 automatic clearing but ignoring reconciliation account

I have the following issue. I have got two open items on my customer. One debit and one credit amount. The two lines have got the same value and also the same value in the assignment field. The only difference between the two lines is that they have different reconciliation account. These account have been determined based on the reconciliation account determination within SD. The problem is that I can clear the two manually. But the system does not clear them automatically. Another important detail is that I have not set the reconciliation as part of the criteria for automatic clearing. Did anyone face this issue before. It is also important to tell that I have used special gl indicators.
Can annyone tell me what is the best way to solve this issue.
    Thanks in advance.

Well my guess is that I'll have to copy it to a Z-program. So if annyone has done this modification before some help would be usefull... Because this is a pretty huge program ...
Or if annyone knows a user exit / badi i could try ...

  • Subledger and GL Reconciliation Account Adjustment

    Hi Everyone,
My issue is that I currently have an inconsistency between our Fixed Asset Subledger and General Ledger, and here is the scenario I have:
    1. FA Subledger Entry - Profit Centre 123 has an amount of $100
    2. GL Entry - Reconciliation Account 145300 has an amount of $100 - BUT no profit centre associated with it.
Therefore, the following entry is required:
    Debit 145300  $100 - using profit centre 123
Credit 145300 ($100) - using no profit centre
The issue is that GL Account 145300 is a reconciliation account and cannot be directly posted to.  I cant change the settings on the GL Account either as I receive message FH110 - Modifications to reconciliation account not permitted.
I basically want the FA Subledger profit centre to be reflected in the GL.  I have tried searching this topic, but havent found
    anything that helps.
Thanks for your help in advance!
    Rob

    Hi
Where did you see PC in FA Sub ledger reports? I dont know of any report which gives you PC wise Asset reports... This feature is introduced in EhP5..
Anyways, did you see the Asset Recon Account in FAGLL03 report / in FAGLFLEXA table?? (If you are on New GL)
If you are not on New GL PCA, you need to run 1KEI to transfer Asset balances to EC-PCA
I am interested in knowing which report in Asset Subledger gives you PC wise Asset balances.. Please share!

  • AR Reconciliation Account

    Hi ,
We changed our AR reconciliation account back in Feb,2011 as a result of a business decision. So whenever customer pays, system posts to old recon. a/c if its an old item and at month end we reverse all the entries using a dummy customer .But I found out that AR balance (customer a/c) doesn't match with old recon. account in GL side.like.we have balance on AR side 2000$ and on GL its 1773$.How could it happen as whenever there is a transaction takes place on the sub ledgre, the recon. a/c updates the values and keep the GL & subAR ledgre in sync.? Any thoughts and how to resolve this issue. Thanks
    Regards
    Shaun

    Dear,
First you must check what Reconciliation accounts are being used in documents.
Once you have done reversals in the last account changed, you may have left some document. In any case, count the number of entries in the GL and AR account. Use the tables BSID and BSEG to do so. If the unbalance remains, report it to SAP Support. May be a table inconsistency.

  • Alternative reconciliation account and special GL indicators

    Hello,
A tricky one. Your help would be very appreciated !!!
We are facing a problem when using special gl indicators for the clearing of vendor postings  that did use an alternative reconciliation account. We face it during a bill of exchange posting. The posting is cleared but the target account determined by the SGI  is not the correct one.  It is as if the SGI target account was not determined based on the reconciliation account maintained in the vendor posting, but by the reconciliation account maintained in the vendor master data.
    In order to be clear:
In table THKON (alternative rec account) we have:
    account A >> account B
In table T074 (special GL) we have:
    account A >> account C
    account B >> account D
The idea is simple: we can have different reconciliation accounts in the vendor posting (A & B) and for the SGI we want to have also different target accounts (C and D).
Our vendor posting use the alt rec account, so account B is used in the posting while account A is maintained in the master data. We trigger our Bill of exchange posting using special GL indicator; the posting on account B is cleared but the target account to which the amount is moved is C while it should be D.
To me this is a major problem and completely annihilates the use of alternative reconciliation account, as the initial distinction cannot be maintained all the way.
Did anyone already face this issue ? Is there an OSS note on this issue ?
Thank you very much for your answer.

    Dude,
i suspect meanwhile logde a OSS message to SAP.
Alternatively, try to use substitution ( i know as per your config system should work) but try substitution, if possible.
    <b><u>OR</u></b>
Configure these SPL GL accounts also in Alternative Recon config against each other

  • MIRO and alternative reconciliation accounts?

    Hi all,
The situation is following. Purchase order is made and when in MIRO we are processing this PO into a subsequent credit then it is not possible to change an reconciliation account for that vendor even if I did set it up in SPRO as an alternative rec. acc. and have set it to be ready for posting.
One solution would be to define a different doc. type and then do a substitution (I guess) but I wonder why this doesn't work the same way as posting a vendor invoice from FI?!
    Thanks
    D.

In MIRO, you will be able to change the vendor account but not the reconciliation account itself.  The reconciliation account field will be greyed out, unless you made it as optional.  This may cause issues, as the user can go in and change the account and your subledger will not tie back to your ledger.
One of the other alternative solution, may not be a preferred solution, is that when you are doing subsequent credits, you choose a different vendor (assigned to the other GL Account that you want to post to) and then post the MIRO transaction.
    Thanks,

  • Alternative reconciliation account

    Hi,
we have a following requirement from the client:
The business process is the following:
approx.10.000 Retail beer customers in dist. channel X and Y. We would like to invoice a so-called rent fee with sundry invoicing for the equipments they use. (In the future we will create other kind of sundry invoices for them too.) Depending on the category of the equipment we will invoice 3 different amounts per equipment.
These customers will issue towards us an invoice with the same amount as a marketing contribution.
Incoming and outgoing invoices have to be settled against each other. This is not a onetime action. We must repeat this process year by year.
    Business process:
    1.     Outgoing invoices have to be created for customers about the annual rent fee
    2.             Mass creation of sales orders and invoices using LSMW.
    3.     Customer issues an incoming invoice in the same value about marketing cost contribution ( with LSMW for FB01 transaction ).
    4.     Outgoing and incoming invoices have to be settled (zero settlement)
    4.     If customer doesnu2019t issues invoice, he has to be dunned
    My questions are:
    1) our client has asked to Make settings for u201CPosting with alternative reconciliation accountu201D: allow for G/L account ABC to post with alternative reconciliation account Nr. DEF.
we can not change the recon. account to alternative recon. account here, when the customer invoices are get created from VF01, so what is the purpose of alternative recon. account here ?
    2) How to carry out Automatic Zero settlement of incoming and outgoing invoices using automatic payment program?
    Thanks,
    Vidya

    Answer 1
    =======
During document entry, you use the reconciliation account to define the G\L account in which the transaction figures are to be updated. You determine which G\L account is to be used using:
    The special G\L indicator or
The reconciliation account which is defined in the master record (default) and, if relevant, any additional alternative reconciliation accounts which you can define per reconciliation account in Customizing
Define accordingly for customers and vendors
    Answer 2
    =======
The is no automatic scheduling of Payment Run in F110
However, you can schedule the proposals in F110S. Make you use of this.
Create a variant and schedule them in background.

  • Several reconciliation accounts possible for one customer/vendor

    Dear experts,
I am starting with FI-CO module.
I have a question regarding G/L reconciliation accounts
-Are they only linked to subledgers AP-AR in the customers/vendors master data?  I mean for one customer i only have 1 reconciliation account (receivable from customers), i can' t have more than 1 reconciliation accounts (except Special G/L indicators such as down payments, or bad debt etc.)?
ex : what can i do with the following exemple?
I have customers who are my policy holders (we are an insurance company).
I can pay them sometimes commissions and sometimes a profit sharing.
    So i have 2 G/L accounts :
-Payables to policy holders -direct business
-Payables to policy holders - profit sharing
in my customers master data I can't affect these 2 accounts at the same time to my customer...So what am I supposed to do?
Affect the first one as default in the master data, and define the second one as a special G/L indicator?
I currently have quite a lof of detail in my operational Chart of a account and I don't know how to manage this?
Is there only the special G/L indicators solution?
Do you know if there are some recommandations regarding the special G/L indicators use? Can we create easily as many special G/L codes (and accounts) as we want? Or do you have a best practice?
Many thanks in advance for your helps
    best regards,
    Armelle Rolland

    Dear Armelle Rolland
    Answer your questions below:
1.Are they only linked to subledgers AP-AR in the customers/vendors master data? I mean for one customer i only have 1 reconciliation account (receivable from customers), i can' t have more than 1 reconciliation accounts (except Special G/L indicators such as down payments, or bad debt etc.)?
answer>yes.  But their is alternative reconciliation account functio that reconciliation account can be changed manually when posting.
2.ex : what can i do with the following exemple?
I have customers who are my policy holders (we are an insurance company).
I can pay them sometimes commissions and sometimes a profit sharing.

Affect the first one as default in the master data, and define the second one as a special G/L indicator?
answer-> using alternative reconciliation account functionality or special G/L Function.
3.Do you know if there are some recommandations regarding the special G/L indicators use? Can we create easily as many      special G/L codes (and accounts) as we want? Or do you have a best practice?
    you can use A--Z; 0-9. If not enough, some customers are using "=, <, (, !, $, &, -" ect.
In you case, suggest you to use alternative reconciliation account function.
Alternative reconciliation account can be maintained in Tcode:OBXY), and in FS00, tick the u201Crecon. acct ready for inputu201D flag for reconciliation account which is maintained in Tcode:FD02, then go to Tcode FB01, when you enter customer line items, the reconciliation account can be changed.
Hope above information can help you solve your issue.
