Reconciliation between two sources

I have two tables A and B. There are around 5 crore records in table A. In table B i have a column called id. In all there are 25 ids and there are 6000 records for each id. So in total there are 150000. I want to join all the 5 crore records of table A with all the records for each id in table B one by one. i.e. 5 crore join with 6000 of id 1; then 5 crore join with 6000 records of id 2 and so on... can u please suggest a solution with optimized performance as it is a performance critical case?

Unless your join is on columns that represent a unique key in atleast one of the tables, you will find that your result contains duplicates*.
This is because SQL is multiset based and not set based.
SQL is supposed to be declarative. In that if you want to join tables A, B on columns x,y,z then you just do so, and leave the optimiser to worry about the "optimal implementation".
We all know in practise that this isn't the case, and this is why there are always clowns writing bad code and well paid jobs to fix the circus SQL.
However in a join between two tables, especially one not involving unique keys, there is no logical optimisation, although you will additionally to DISTINCT your result which will degrade performance further.
I suggest you revisit your table design and try to get some unique constraints on there, so that the optimiser may be enabled to do it's job for you and you may leverage the innate power of the set.
*unless of course either of the tables is empty, or contains only one row. Or the join columns happen to represent an unenforced unique key, in which case you'd better get an actual constraint on there before someone breaks it.

  • Reconciliation between two R/3 tables

    Hi,
this might be the wrong board for this, sorry!
Does anyone know a report with which you can compare the GL totals table (GLT0) with the line item tables (BSEG BKPF)?
We have loaded line items and totals into two different cubes and the data doesn't reconcile.
    Thanks!

You should be using DEBMAS & depending upon what data you wanna pass use hte below...
    ADRMAS, ADR2MAS, ADR3MAS
In your case for additinal address, you should use ADRMAS - main address of a customer or vendor has address type 1

  • QoS: CBWFQ: unfair between two sources?

I cannot figure out why router(7204 & 12.4) drop packets from one source1 packet and not source2. I am sending 20 Mbps from source1 & 10 Mbps from Source2. Both sources send with AF41 & UDP, 1399 frame size.
    Following is the QoS policy:
    policy-map shape
    class test
    match dscp af41
    bandwidth 20000 kbps
    queue limit 4096
    shape average 20000000
    int g0/2
    ipv6 address
    service-policy output shape
I tried sending single stream of 20 Mbps & 10 Mbps & multiple streams of 2 Mbps from both sources & for some reason router drop only packets from source1.
    I am using IPv6. I have not tried IPv4.
    Any suggestion?

I think the packet drop may be because of the class-map command. In a CBWFQ, class-maps defines a named class, that is used to select specific traffics and put them into a specific flow or queue. You can use either match-all or match-any option for this class-map cmd.match-any is like Logical AND and all match statements specified in class-map should be satisfied to apply the policy. match-any is like OR.If any one match statement is true, then it will be fine to apply the specific policy. So, I think u should have used 'match-all ' option and any one match statement is not satisfied. So, the packet is dropped from one source(1) according to the mentioned policy. Use the show class-map cmd to see match-all/match-any option. Also, use sh policy-map cmd and sh queue cmd. Then debug.

  • Automated Reconciliation report between two cubes

    Hi All,
I need to create a query to do reconciliation between two cubes. Please help me to know the steps how I can go ahead.
I have built a multiprovider on top of those cubes. Please let me know what need to be done in query to do reconciliation.
    Regards,
    Anjali

    Hi Anjali,
I am assuming that by reconiliation you mean to check if the data in the two cubes is matching or not. If this is your requirement, then you can create a report in BEX Query designer, in the columns put dataprovider and below that put the keyfigures, and in the row you can put the characteristics for which you would like to reconcile the data for.
Run the report and compare both the columns.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards
    Snehith.

  • Reconciliation of two accounts

    Hi dear all,
I have some query about reconciliation of accounts,my client has defined different chart of accounts for invoice posting and invoice payment i.e.A/P invoice account for vendor is different and payment for the particular vendor code is different,
now can we reconcile the these two accounts(vendor control accts) in SAP B1.
    Advance thanks
    Regards
    Komanduri.ks

    Hi,
What are trying to perform? From the description of the issue, it seems that you are trying to do a Multi Business Partner Reconciliation between two Business Partner Codes having different Control Accounts.
If yes, and if you are on version 2007 or higher, you can perform the Reconciliation under the following path:
Business Partner Module > Internal Reconciliation > Reconciliation.
In the Reconciliation window, click on the checkbox Multi Business Partner and then you would be able to select different Business Partner and perform the reconciliation for the different control accounts (payments and Invoice)
    Check if it helps.
    Kind Regards,

  • Create view link between two view objects (from programmatic data source)

    Hi Experts,
Can we create a link between two view objects (they are created from programmatic datasource ; not from either entity or sql query). If yes how to create the link; ( i mean the like attributes?)
I would also like to drag and drop that in my page so that i can see as top master form and the below child table. Assume in my program i will be only have one master object and many child objects.
    Any hits or idea pls.
    -t

Easiest way to do this is to add additional transient attributes to your master view object, and then include those additional transient attributes in the list of source attributes for your view link. This way, you can get BC4J to automatically refer to their values with no additional code on your part.

  • Differences between two form source's

Is it possible to show the code differences between two fmb's using PVCS ? Or is there some other method of doing this?
Using Object list report in Oracle forms 6i , you can create a txt version of the form and compare these using a diff, but this is not an accurate method.

I am using the FormsTool V1.0 from the previously mentioned http://www.orcl-toolbox.com This is a great tool for doing diffs on Forms and Reports. It has saved me several times in the past. Never had the need for the replace functionality but I am sure it is just a matter of time.
Also great for doing impact analysis when someone wants to change something and wants to know how many forms/reports are impacted.
Well worth having a copy for the $200 cost. No I do not work for orcl-toolbox ;-)

    Hi Keegan,
Your tunnel is up and encrypting traffic one way, the other end is not able to encrypt the traffic.
I would suggest to do a 'clear xlate'?  Sometimes if you setup the nonat configuration after you've attempted other configurations, you need to 'clear xlate' before the previous NAT configuration is cleared and the new one works.
    HTH

  • Unable to find line break between two lines in attachment file.

Dear all I will be very great full if someone help me out,
I am trying to send mail through SMTP server with an attachment of oracle report, but I am unable to find line break between two lines, when I down load the attachment from mail and open attach.txt file by double click on it. Next line starts right after previous line ends, it should starts with new line.
In order to send an attachment file, I am reading source file line by line and put MIME protocol’s attachment instance, contain of source file is being properly written into target file if I open that attachment on cmd prompt.
Following code may help you to understand the case.
    Thanks in advance.

  • View Link between two query views

Hi is it possible to create a view link between two views having the where clause bind variables.
How you set the bind variables at the run time for the View objects. It is giving hard time for me to use the Master view in the XmlData bean to generate the Xml document.
I am able to set the Master views bind variables, but for view link destination view
where clause bind variables are not able to set ( link object link condition bind variables are binded run time but the views where chause bind variables of destination view are unable to setand bind)
    Thanks
    null

Easiest way to do this is to add additional transient attributes to your master view object, and then include those additional transient attributes in the list of source attributes for your view link. This way, you can get BC4J to automatically refer to their values with no additional code on your part.

Stop syncing them to the same source. If you're sharing an iCloud account with someone, don't do that.

  • Sharing One iPhoto Database Between Two Accounts

For iPhoto 09 (version 8.0.2) and later:
    What you mean by 'share'.
If you want the other user to be able to see the pics, but not add to, change or alter your library, then enable Sharing in your iPhoto (Preferences -> Sharing), leave iPhoto running and use Fast User Switching to open the other account. In that account, enable 'Look For Shared Libraries'. Your Library will appear in the other source pane.
Any user can drag a pic from the Shared Library to their own in the iPhoto Window.
Remember iPhoto must be running in both accounts for this to work.
If you want the other user to have the same access to the library as you: to be able to add, edit, organise, keyword etc.
Quit iPhoto in both accounts. Move the Library to the Users / Shared Folder
(You can also use an external HD set to ignore permissions, a Disk Image or even partition your Hard Disk.)
In each account in turn: Double click on the Library to open it. (You may be asked to repair the Library Permissions.) From that point on, this will be the default library location. Both accounts will have full access to the library, in fact, both accounts will 'own' it.
However, there is a catch with this system and it is a significant one. iPhoto is not a multi-user app., it does not have the code to negotiate two users simultaneously writing to the database, and trying will cause db corruption. So only one user at a time, and back up, back up back up.

  • Configuring SMTP Namespace Sharing between two Exchange Forests on the same LAN

Hi guys, really hoping that someone can help me with configuring SMTP Namespace Sharing between two Exchange Forests on the same LAN.
Basically, I have created a new forest and installed a new exchange organisation in this forest.  Both forests are located on the same IP subnet and a two way trust has been created between the forests.  Federated sharing has also been configured.
I can use ADMT to migrate the user and computer accounts to the new forest and also migrate test mailboxes over.  Ideally, I want to be able to do the mailbox migrations in stages so will need to be able to have mail flowing between the two forests.
I have read over the following article (http://ibrahimnore.wordpress.com/2012/09/06/configuring-smtp-namespace-sharing-between-two-exchange-forests-part-2/)
which is good but it's demonstrating over the internet, can anybody advise how this can be achieved on the local LAN?
    Any help greatly appreciated :-)

    Hi Gilliano,
Thanks for correct link. I must say this is a very good article indeed, I read the entire article and if you go to the 3rd part of this article, please note the text "DOMAINC.COM is configured as Internal Relay Accepted Domain on both the domains"
This is exactly what I asked you to check. Personally, I understand the method described in this article will work but its very complex to manage and administer, while the easiest option is to configure internal relay at the first place and no need to make
so many DNS changes and customizations to your environment.
The solution really depends on what your requirement is - Since you mentioned that you are migrating stuff over from source to destination - I feel this article is too complex for your situation and not really worth (for your requirement). The setup described
in the article is an excellent choice if you are planning to keep both forests alive for longer duration due to several reasons like compliance or company mergers and so on...
please let me know if my explanation is not clear enough.. we can even even have a one-on-one email conversation too!
    All the best!
Please mark as helpful if you find my contribution useful or as an answer if it does answer your question. Regards, Siva

its only a target user for the workspace where you are deploying the mapping from.
I have two repositories for two different projects. each repositary has its own workspace.
    ex:-
    Project 1
    Work space bpms_rep_owner
    Repositary owner bpms_rep_owner
    Repositary user bpms_rep_user
    Project 2
    Work space dem_rep_owner
    Repositary owner dem_rep_owner
    Repositary user dem_rep_user
