Reflection on Designs

While working on newly design wheel I ahead several issues with implementing the reflections of the wheel on the design http://moverstomiami.com and even after inserted via Adobe portable P6 it still gave the same issue..

You don't need an instance of the class in order to do reflection. You just need the class' Class object.
import java.lang.reflect.*;
public abstract class AbstractReflection {
    public static void main(String[] args) throws Exception {
        Class klass = AbstractReflection.class; // or Class.forName("AbstractReflection")
        Method[] methods = klass.getMethods();
        for (Method m : methods) {
            System.out.println(m);
    public abstract int foo();
    public abstract void bar(String str);
    public void baz() {}
:; java -cp classes AbstractReflection
public static void AbstractReflection.main(java.lang.String[]) throws java.lang.Exception
public abstract int AbstractReflection.foo()
public abstract void AbstractReflection.bar(java.lang.String)
public void AbstractReflection.baz()
public native int java.lang.Object.hashCode()
public final native java.lang.Class java.lang.Object.getClass()
public final void java.lang.Object.wait() throws java.lang.InterruptedException
public final void java.lang.Object.wait(long,int) throws java.lang.InterruptedException
public final native void java.lang.Object.wait(long) throws java.lang.InterruptedException
public boolean java.lang.Object.equals(java.lang.Object)

  • Database "TABLE" name change is NOT reflecting on Designer Security

    Hi all members,
    version: BOXI 3.1
I have change the table name in my Database for some particular reason.
After changing the name from "A_Table" to "B_Table" it is updating the objects "select"  information correctly by itslef. BUT for security in (Manage Access Rights) old Table name is showing.
Manaul correction is the only way for it? Can this be updated automatically.
What is the way to achieve it through SDK.
    Kindly any member guide me.
I have number of tables to change and each have number of securities applied in universe.
    Thanks in advance
    Regards,
    Izhar

Universe access security is encapsulated separate from the Universe unv itself.
Rather, it's a SI_KIND='Overload' InfoObject instance, accessible using the BusinessObjects Enterprise SDK.

  • Problem with Query designing

    Hi All,
I had created a query and started designing a crystal report.
But after designing the report, i came to know that some infoobjects are missing in the query.
So i went to query designer and added the corresponding infoobjects inorder, they could reflect while designing my crystal report.
But when i have reopened the report the field explorer is not showing the infoobjects which i have added newly.
In crystal reports what is the way to obtain those objects which are newly added to the query.
Even i have refreshed the field explorer many times but still it is not showing the updated objects.
But if i go creating a new report on the same query, there it is showing the added objects as well.
Only for the new report i could able to see the newly added objects in field explorer but not for the old report.
Please let me know the solution for this problem ASAP.
    Best Regards
    Jiten

    Jiten,
i think if you click Database--->Verify Database and also try Set datasource location -
    >Update.
    this should do the trick.

  • Reverb-Early Reflections & Reverb Tail...

    Hi,
I'm setting up an orchestral template and (as advised) am interested in programming "early reflection" Space Designer IR's for Section auxillary channels (i.e. Strings, Brass, etc.) in order to enhance instrument 'placement'; and a reverb 'tail' on a subsequent aux - (or master out)- to put everything in the 'same room'.
But I'm not highly experienced with customizing Sound Designer IR's - and reading the manual hasn't helped much in this case.
I'm not finding much via 'searches' here, on the Web or on the Logic Pro Help site.
Can anyone advise & or point me to useful tutorials on the topic?
    Thanks, Wm

Maybe you want it to sound like a bunch of fake people in a real room?
A place to start might be like this:
For this starter kit just use a couple SpaceDesigners with the same preset.
The instruments that are real close to you would get more pre-delay. As much as you can dial in without sounding weird/slap-backy. So those would all go to aux(1) with that on it.
Next away dial the predelay a bit shorter on aux(2).
Further yet you would dial in even shorter predelay on aux(3).
The idea is that it takes longer for the near instruments to travel to the walls and back. That's what predelay is for, you just don't want to separate it so much that it sounds like a short echo instead of reverb - different attack characteristics will require different settings. Farther away (towards the back of the room) the direct sound arrives closer to the same time as the reflections - so less pre-delay.
I'm sure even more realism is possible by combining short early reflection type of settings along with rooms by using more auxs, or putting the early refs on the auxes and sending those to the rooms, but this may help you visualize how to start applying things and experimenting.

  • I'm not a complete Lr grouch...  =)

As I promissed I went and installed my courtesy copy of Lr v1.0 (thanks again Adobe, that was a classy thing to do!) and have gone through as many tutorials and videos as I can to learn all I could before putting it into my 'production' workflow. Again, I'm an amateur but I take about 6-8k clicks a year, mostly at 'events' related to my family but also just simply trying to learn more about photography and branching out artistically as I can. The only person I need to satisfy is myself, and my goal is to take both satisfying snaps and also expand creatively. Not easy for a colorblind engineer. =)
The RSP 'way' is still deeply ingrained in me, but for the most part the improvements between the last beta and Lr 1.0 have been enough to convince me to get on the bandwagon and give up RSP completely.
    First, the bad:
Speed still has a ways to go. While I cringe at the slowness of the Lr UI sometimes, it certainly isnt as frustrating as the Beta was, and while I have no NEED for the database driven back end, for the most part it has stayed out of my way. I'm adding basic tag information but not overdoing it, as simple folder and chronological views are all I need to find any picture I want.
I still dislike the Crop tool but am getting used to it, begrudgingly. I understand many people love it but I wish it were toggleable back permanently to the way I want to work. I liken this to 'Invert Y' feature for FPS games. If, like me, you play Quake looking up or down the way a pilot would, being forced to invert this basic function would be unthinkable, and every FPS on the market allows those who wish to use either scheme to make a configuration choice once and get on with life.
Final output and renaming is still painful to me. I want to rename every one of my selects something unique. The tool to batch rename files works great, but if I want to identify my final output, say for my Flickr stream, this does not seem to work well for me. What I'd ideally like is to select the ones I want to output and then have the program go through them one by one with a window asking me what I want to name each individual one. Perhaps this is possible now and I missed it.
    The Good:
The absolute level of control within the actual raw conversion is staggering. Especially in Black and White and especially the TaT. Here's but one example: I have a favorite picture of my niece that was shot horribly overblown. I 'rescued' it RSP, choosing to creatively live with blown out details, making something I actually liked despite the terrible technical no-nos.
    http://farm1.static.flickr.com/73/178696020_fe7b7c0285_b.jpg
Using the tools in RSP, I have created a new vision that completely does away with those blown out areas and which I absolutely adore.
    http://farm1.static.flickr.com/174/413088911_be54dd2355_b.jpg
And I did it in about 10 minutes with a minimum of fuss and while still being a relative noob to the program.
The Clone and Heal tools are simply magic. Yeah, "Dust" my butt =)
The Red Eye tool is very good with actual red eyes. Would like to see support for light grey mirror eyes as well. As I noted in another thread my Costco terminal does a fair job with this phenomenon, hope Lr can sometime in the future too.
The noise reduction is great for my purposes. It works miles better than I ever had RSP do. Sharpening is similarly good, I wish it were more detailed but still quick and easy and works.
The 'Versions' feature works great. Still getting up to speed on it but it's even more usable than the way I handled similar needs in RSP.
    The never uses:
I never ever use Web output or the print modules. Every one of my pics will go to Flickr and/or Costco for output.
That's it for now. More as I play and explore this tool.

    gwegner,
A few thoughts on "I shoot nef and nx renders them as jpg just like the camera does".
I personally find it hard to see the photographic virtue in that, which is not to say that it isn't valuable to you. I suspect that is because we have different perspectives on color and using jpegs out of the camera as standards.
I shoot professionally with three camera brands at this time, Nikon D2X, 200, D80, Sony R1, Olympus 880 and have shot digital with three other camera brands and types since the inception of digital and with numerous brands and types of film cameras for 40 years-so I do a lot of scanning of transparencies as well--it is my profession.
All these cameras give a different color 'look' and image quality jpegs initially out of the camera. I guess if I had to choose which looked the best, I'd put Olympus on top and Nikon on the bottom--but, in fact, I find none of them even close to what I can do to give them a 'look' in post processing RAW.
Color characteristics and the jpegs out of the camera 'look' is a far more complex issue than you make it out to be, at least for many of us. And in many cases that is definitely not a highly sought after quality--that is why Nikon NX and LR and dozens of other apps go far beyond replicating in camera jpeg algos exactly or just closely.
Whether--with any camera--that is the preferred way to work depends on what type of shooting you do and what you are using the shots for.
Photojounalists have different criteria than wedding shooters, than commercial, than Artist/Photographers,etc, etc.
For some types of photography 'right out of the camera jpeg color' makes sense--but by and large those shooters are not terribly particular about precise color values, dynamic range, high resolution, bit depth and scalability. For those of us who make a living with images that require these values, 95% of the images we shoot need post camera modifications of 'what the camera produced'(which by definition reflects the design criteria and 'look' that the engineers and marketing types at Nikon, Sony, Canon, etc, thought would sell, and that 'look' varies by brand considerably --with some slight lattitude built into the camera choices for the user.
RAW maximizes lattitude for rendering what one shot the image for in the first place, what one saw (subjectively) through the viewfinder, the photographic potential of the scene--the colors of which NO camera produces with absolute color fidelity--whether we appreciate what one camera produces over another is subjective. And for processing images to the 'color look' any given shooter wants, I would argue that LR is more effective as a tool than NX, a lot easier and faster to use becuause of its UI design and more precise control of image adjustments--in 95% of the cases.
We all should shoot in the manner that we find the most rewarding, of course, but many will find the notion of 'straight out of the camera' jpeg color, and Nikon NX as better than LR for post processing based on 'color out of the camera', just another differing personal preference.
I make a living on post processed imagery, so I prefer tools that give me the greatest post processing lattitude and workflow effectiveness. So, IF the choice came down to either LR or NX, LR would be an easy choice--although, I do use NX for control points in a few images with hard light contrast problems--simply faster than layers, etc, in PS.

  • Page content disappears in Edit mode - Custom Master Page

    Hi All,
Below are the two issues I have with my master page.
    1) I am facing the strange issue with the pages created using custom page layouts and custom master page.
In browse mode, everything looks perfect and as expected. But when I try to edit the same page, all content disappears as soon as page ribbon appears. When I click back on Browse tab on the ribbon, everything appears back normally.
    2) Also When I apply my custom master page as site master for Publishing site it works I can see all my custom design and layout. But when I apply same for team sites, unless I change system master to my custom master page, it doesn't reflect my design.
Does anyone face this issue before?
    Thanks

Once in edit mode, are you able to view the page's source and do a "Find" on a certain keyword that should normally appear in your page's content? Is it there?
I'm trying to determine if its a server side issue with your master page's code that's causing the content not to be sent back across the wire to the user or if the content is there but just not properly presented. Thanks

  • How do I connect two VMs in the same cloud service?

I want to setup a DB cluster with two VMs in a single cloud service. My DB (Couchbase) requires being able to reference the other nodes by IP address or hostname. Since VMs change their IP everytime they restart I can't use that, and as far as I can tell
hostname is the same for both VMs in a cloud service. But the Azure docs mention Azure provided name resolution (here https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/jj156088.aspx). I can't find any information on how this service works, or how I find the permanent
hostnames it assigns to my VMs within a cloud service. Is there anyway to find one VM from another within a cloud service that persists across restarts?

    Hi CanuckAlex;
    Thank you for your post.
Virtual machines must be in a cloud service, which acts as a container and provides a unique public DNS name, a public IP address, and a set of endpoints to access the virtual machine over the Internet. The cloud service can optionally be in a virtual network.
If a cloud service is not in a virtual network, the virtual machines in that cloud service can only communicate with other virtual machines through the use of the other virtual machines’ public DNS names, and that traffic would travel over the Internet.
If a cloud service is in a virtual network, the virtual machines in that cloud service can communicate with all other virtual machines in the virtual network without sending any traffic over the Internet.
If you place your virtual machines in the same standalone cloud service, you can take advantage of load balancing and availability sets. For details, see
    Load balancing virtual machines and
Manage the availability of virtual machines. However, you cannot organize the virtual machines on subnets or connect a standalone cloud service to your on-premises network. Here is an example.
If you place your virtual machines in a virtual network, you can decide how many cloud services you want to use to take advantage of load balancing and availability sets. Additionally, you can organize the virtual machines on subnets in the same way as your
on-premises network and connect the virtual network to your on-premises network. Here is an example.
Virtual networks are the recommended way to connect virtual machines in Azure. The best practice is to configure each tier of your application in a separate cloud service. This enables advanced user rights delegation through Role Based Access Control (RBAC).
    For more information, see
Role Based Access Control in Azure Preview Portal. However, you may need to combine some virtual machines from different application tiers into the same cloud service to remain within the maximum of 200 cloud services per subscription.
To connect virtual machines in a virtual network:
Create the virtual network in the Azure Management Portal. For more information, see
    Virtual Network Configuration Tasks.
Create the set of cloud services for your deployment in the Azure Management Portal to reflect your design for availability sets and load balancing with
New > Compute > Cloud Service > Custom Create.
When you create each new virtual machine, specify the correct cloud service and your virtual network. If the cloud service has been previously associated with your virtual network, its name will already be selected for you.
Here is an example using the Azure Management Portal.
To connect virtual machines in a standalone cloud service:
Create the cloud service for your deployment in the Azure Management Portal with
New > Compute > Cloud Service > Custom Create.
When you create the virtual machine, specify the name of cloud service created in step 1. Alternately, you can create the cloud service for your deployment when you create your first virtual machine.
Here is an example using the Azure Management Portal for the existing cloud service named EndpointTest.
PS: One can assign static IP address to VM on Azure, You could refer to this
    link here.
    Hope this helps.
    Warm Regards;

  • Weird 23" display pattern (picture)

    Hi there,
A few months ago, my 23" cinema display has developed some kind of "marble" pattern , which appears to be underneath the screen surface.
I have followed numerous discussions on color consistency woes with this particular monitor, but I have never come across an issue like that one.
Unfortunately, I'm a few months out of warranty, and while the technical issue is annoying, (German) Apple customer service will not even discuss a possible rebate on repair costs for even a piece of their most expensive 'pro' equipment, let alone a replacement, as it seems.
That said, has anyone here seen anything like that before, and can possibly offer some advice on how to take care of it ?
    Thank you in advance,

The display backlight consists of multiple, often two or three, CCFL (cold cathode fluorescent tube) lamps. Behind the backlight is a reflective foil designed to spread the light evenly across the whole panel. To me, it looks like this foil has become crumpled in your display.
Unfortunately, since the foil is enclosed within the LCD panel assembly, there isn't an easy fix.

  • CSS 3.0 not working with VS 2012

    Hi,
sorry if this is not the proper place to ask but i guessed it's the nearest.
I'm using vs2012 ultimate ed. when i write CSS 3.0 code I'm getting the help of intellsense but these changes  not reflected to design view. [ ex:
    min-height and linear-gradient ].
i have tested both HTML + CSS File with a text editor it was OK. also i renewed Internet Explorer to ver 11 but all of this was useless.
do i have to install some updates or component ?
i couldn't figure where is the mistake.
    Thanks.

    Hi Abdullah_001,
As far as I know, it has the feature with a tool in VS2010:
    https://visualstudiogallery.msdn.microsoft.com/7211bcac-091b-4a32-be2d-e797be0db210
But for VS2012, it seems that it still has certain limitations like this connect report:
    https://connect.microsoft.com/VisualStudio/feedback/details/790808/no-intellisense-in-html-editor-to-show-the-classes-in-my-css-file
Or you could use the new VS2013 version.

  • Dreamweaver 8 vs CS4

I am still using Dreamweaver 8 and was wondering what the
main differences are between 8 and CS4? I was told awhile back that
there wasn't much of a difference between 8 and CS3, but now with
CS4 out, I'd like to know how much of a difference there is.
    Thanks in advance.

Like MX, the immediately obvious change in CS4 is the user
    interface.
It's an evolutionary change, so you can configure it to work
    almost
exactly the same as before; but you can also save much more
    screen real
estate by collapsing panels to icons. However, the really
    significant
changes for me lie in the following new features: Related
    Files, Live
View, Live Code, Code Navigator, and a small - but great -
    improvement:
    vertical split view.
    > I'd hate to install CS4 only to come back here and
    complain about it like so
    > many others.
It seems that you either love it or hate it. The Related
    Files feature
can be disconcerting until you get used to it. It's a new
    toolbar at the
top of the Document window that lists all external JavaScript
    files,
style sheets, and server-side includes attached to the
    current page.
Select any of them, and Dreamweaver reveals the contents of
    the related
file in Split view, while continuing to display the main file
    in Design
view. You can make edits in the related file, and the effect
    is
immediately reflected in Design view when you press F5 or
    click anywhere
    in Design view.
Live View uses the WebKit browser to render your page in a
standards-compliant browser inside the Document window. It's
    not
intended as a substitute for testing in other browsers, but I
    find it
speeds up primary testing and development.
The Code Navigator gives you an immediate summary of style
    rules that
apply to a specific part of the page. Mouse over the
    selectors displayed
in the Code Navigator, and you see the details of each rule.
    Click one
of the rules, and you're taken directly to the code, ready to
    edit it.
Other features include code introspection for JavaScript
    functions and
objects, a vastly improved way of creating Spry data sets,
    and the
ability to share your screen with up to three other people.
    There's also
support for a hosted CMS called InContext Editing. Some
    people think
InContext Editing is brilliant. I have tested it, and will
    probably
never use it again. It doesn't fit my needs, and I think it
    is likely to
    result in considerable maintenance problems.
One final thing: if you're looking for improvements to
    Dreamweaver's
server-side features, there aren't any. No changes were made
    to server
behaviors, apart from removing support for ASP.NET and JSP.

  • How to get list of tags in my html file?

    Hi,

Is this an oversight in the library specification?
Why does the tld file not contain any tag interrelationship information when the tags java api provide all the mechenism handle nesting.
I have a tag library with a large number of tags which form a hierarchy reflecting the design of the library and its components.
As the meta information ( tld ) does not contain any information about this hierarchy, the user is left clueless as to the composition of the tags.
Also this directly affects all jsp design and editing tools, making features like code completion etc almost useless.
Anyone from the tag library spec team ???

  • Book recommendation about java objects

Hi I've been reading books and writing java for about 2 years. most of the books look the same. they cover different parts of java such as I/O, networking, GUI..
But I am very interested is understanding about objects and how they work or should be created and used. What does extending, implementing, interfaces,... really mean. I do have a general understanding of it and I use them all the time but mostly by looking at examples and based on my own ideas but it seems that most of the design that I do can be done in so many ways. I look at source codes of others and some designs make sense to me while others are confusing and have dozens of classes and sub classes all mixed into a package. I want to have a better understanding of object. any books or tutorial or other suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

If you want a book specifically tied to Java, http://java.sun.com/docs/books/javaprog/ is very good. James Gosling is one of the authors, so it really reflects the design philoophy of Java. It is also clearer on the tradeoffs made in the design than books by "Java advocates" seem to be.
The class ic work on OOP is "Object Oriented Software Construction" by Bertrand Meyer. It needs study - but it repays the effort.

    Building Power Through Knowledge Organization
The amount of information in organizations is increasing
exponentially, and much of it is unstructured u2013 documents on
department file servers, Web pages on subsidiary Web servers,
e-mail, groupware, and slide presentations, to name just a few
examples. These unstructured and often unmanaged resources
contain mission-critical knowledge that companies need to maximize

    Creating Strategic Resources
    from Unstructured Information
The knowledge management capabilities of SAP NetWeaver
help you manage all facets of unstructured information u2013 from
collaborative authoring and publishing to advanced search and
navigation features u2013 with extraordinary ease and efficiency.
    As the world becomes more
    data driven, information is
coming at you from all directions.
How can you leverage that information
    into usable knowledge?
    How can you integrate that
    information, give it structure,
    increase search capabilities,
    and provide access to rolerelevant
    data? With the SAP
    NetWeaveru2122 platform, you can
    turn distributed, unstructured
    information into organizational
    knowledge, and make that
    knowledge accessible and
    collaborative enterprise-wide.

    MANAGEMENT WITH
    SAP NetWeaveru2122
    SAP NetWeaver Brief
    These capabilities include:
u2022 Functions for effectively creating and working with information
    in documents
u2022 A powerful search and classification engine
u2022 Adaptability through an open set of extensions
u2022 Role-based access and full integration with the SAP NetWeaver
    integration and application platform
Because users naturally store information in a variety of locations,
all these u201Cplacesu201D or u201Cdocument repositoriesu201D should be combined
within one u201Cvirtual view.u201D The knowledge management capabilities
of SAP NetWeaver provide this virtual view, which ensures the
accessibility of all documents to all authorized users and provides
    critical information services.
    Effectively Creating and Working
    with Information in Documents
The knowledge management capabilities of SAP NetWeaver
support the entire document life cycle. Standard user interfaces
provide all the basic functions required for working with documents
u2013 authoring, publishing, classifying, versioning, publishing
workflows, and more. Automatic classification services sort documents
into the appropriate channels, and subscription mechanisms
push the new content to target audiences. To complete the cycle,
readers can provide feedback to authors and use the rating function.
Template-based authoring and publishing using multiple
channels make life easy for occasional authors, while administrators
can utilize an extensive framework for detailed configurations
    and additions to the system.
With these and other features, the knowledge management
capabilities of SAP NetWeaver provide an out-of-the-box solution.
The extensible design supports the addition of a vast collection of
features to meet your specific business needs.

    Providing Powerful Search
    and Classification Functions
What good is information if users canu2019t find it? To resolve this fundamental
issue, the knowledge management capabilities of SAP
NetWeaver come with a search and classification engine.
This fully equipped and integrated engine provides knowledge
workers with tremendous power and flexibility for finding what
they need, when they need it. With the search and classification
engine, users can do the following:
u2022 Search across multiple content repositories and discover
related documents anywhere in the system
u2022 Retrieve originals or highlighted HTML versions of nearly
    200 file formats
u2022 Navigate through logical hierarchies u2013 commonly known as

    content experts
u2022 Use fuzzy and linguistic search methods in nearly 30 languages
u2022 Benefit from dynamically ranked search results and document
    summarization
Because knowledge management is a tightly integrated capability
of SAP NetWeaver, searching is not restricted to unstructured
information and can be extended to structured business content.
These search and classification mechanisms have already been
applied to other SAP solutions and will continue to be extended to
provide powerful search functions across a wide range of critical
    business information.
    Enabling Adaptability Through Open Extensions
There is an important principle for encouraging people to share
and reuse their knowledge actively: bring the knowledge to the
people rather than forcing them to go looking for the knowledge
they need. In other words, it makes sense to embed and adapt the
knowledge management approach in existing business processes,
user behavior, and system landscapes. Otherwise, you might end
up with isolated solutions that lack relevance and impact. The
knowledge management capabilities of SAP NetWeaver are built to
allow them to be adapted to the needs of your business and its
ever-growing set of processes. The knowledge management capabilities
of SAP NetWeaver enable you to:
u2022 Integrate existing information repositories through
preconfigured connectors to your existing information
repositories u2013 In addition to connectors available from SAP,
SAP partners provide connectors for their own repositories.
And SAP customers can build their own custom connectors
that are tailored to specific requirements.
u2022 Flexibly configure the user interface u2013 User interfaces for information
sharing need to be highly interactive; however, they
also need to reflect corporate design standards and unique user
requirements. For this reason, the knowledge management capabilities
of SAP NetWeaver provide a highly flexible user interface
that can be used out of the box, adapted to your needs by
configuration, or extended by Java coding.
u2022 Add new functions and services u2013 Your business may need additional
or slightly modified functions. Therefore, in addition to
repository and user interface adaptation, interfaces can be used to
modify existing functions or to create completely new functions
based on existing knowledge management services. Other SAP
solutions are already leveraging this capability to enhance their
applications with powerful knowledge management capabilities.
All of these enhancements can be accomplished either through
simple Web-based configuration or through integration into the
standard development infrastructure of SAP NetWeaver. The welldocumented
and released programming interfaces provided by
SAP ensure that extensions will still run smoothly after an upgrade.
    Relying on SAP NetWeaver
    for Role-Based Access and Integration
Typically, your users have the greatest need for well-managed
knowledge within the context of their current business tasks,
processes, or roles. Thus, knowledge management capabilities
must be embedded in the immediate vicinity of your core business
applications. Knowledge management, as a central component of
SAP NetWeaver and SAP EP, creates this context. As demonstrated
by the following examples, you can rely on the integration for
central user management, the proven portal role concept, and the
    applications powered by SAP NetWeaver:
u2022 The SAP Business Intelligence (SAP BI) component of SAP
NetWeaver makes information accessible by broadcasting
reports into portal components that expose knowledge
management interfaces u2013 making these reports available in an
integrated view along with information from other sources that
    are relevant for business analysis.
u2022 Because teamwork between users is one of the key factors in
successfully managing knowledge in organizations, the knowledge
management capabilities of SAP NetWeaver are tightly
linked with collaborative tools. Whenever users work together
on documents in a collaboration room, knowledge management
is involved u2013 and even here, applications within or on
top of SAP NetWeaver can be involved to enhance knowledge
management and collaboration within a business context.
    Managing Knowledge for Competitive Advantage
Organizations can use the knowledge management capabilities of
SAP NetWeaver to boost efficiency and overall business velocity by
enhancing the quality of relationships, thereby driving everyone
to maximize value across the entire enterprise with unprecedented
speed. In a world in which the time between identifying a problem
and finding its solution can spell success or failure, the knowledge
management capabilities of SAP NetWeaver bring the correct information
to the right people, thus increasing productivity and
    creating a smarter enterprise.
