Regarding Certification validity

Hi Friends,
I have completed CCNP Data R&S in OCT 2012. IS there any timeframe for tshoot to be completed within so and so or as each certification has 3years of validity whether i can complete the same before SEP 2015. will it be valid.
OR
If i do some other certification in security and wireless in feb 2014.... my certification validity will extend to jan 2017 right. before Jan 2017 can i complete Tshoot ot within 3 years of R&S certifications i have to get it certified CCNP.
Please clarify... i asked many and no one could able to clarify this.

So I understand that in the case of the CCNP, you have to pass 3 exams that comprise, within the single period of 3 years that you passed the last exam Cisco (CCNA, ...)

Need help regarding form validation

Hi all,
I have particular doubt regarding form validation. I have a form based on a table. ( One data block ) . I have a function in program unit which return boolean value based on some conditions. I will be calling this function in block validate trigger.
What i need is , if function return false i need to stop any insertion,updation action that's going to be done by forms.( point to control insertion and updation)
I don't want to use form triggure failure builtin. What should i do ? plz guide

Certification Validation fails only when executed through Command prompt

I am developing a testing application using Java which calls multiples services a certain number of times. A few of these services are https protocol and hence require certification validation when the call is established.
The testing application works fine when i run it on Eclipse but the requirement is to run a .bat file which in turn will call the java class which has some logic and then call the client stub (which i generated on Eclipse using the wsdl)
The problem is when i try calling the java class from .bat file or command prompt the call fails with the following error :-

I have made sure that the required certificates are imported into the Java Keystore . What i find confusing is how does Eclipse not have an issue with the certificate validation ?

Regarding the validations in File Upload.

I am Using the X:InputFileUpload> for uploading of the my file and i am using validator class for checking the validation like if the file name is null. But i need one more validation to check the file format like if i have enter any special characters and invalid file format(SSS) i want give a message to the user.
Please suggest me how can i approach using Myfaces.

I have never used myfaces implementation but I am sure you can just define your own custom validator and attach it to this component or assign a method binding to its validator attribute to perform extra validation.

David Powers --- Regarding form validation with dreamweaver behaviors

I am in the chapter teaching about form validation with the Zend Framework. I have done the entire lesson with the lesson files and everything works perfectly...
but I went back to use the form valdation techniques for my own site and it is not working properly. In the book, Chapter 6 teaches how to create a user login and editing the database through the site. But in chapter seven the form validation does not build on top of this and therefore does not teach how to integrate the form validation with the registered user already set up.
I have user registration completly working on my site and everything runs fine. I am trying to add the form validation but it is all completly ignored. When I leave a field blank it simply takes me to another blank page that reads "Column 'first_name' cannot be null"

I replaced some code here to protect myself, but the library.php file is completely functional and has been tested... I am sure the problem ins't in here.

I replaced some code here to protect myself, but the library.php file is completely functional and has been tested... I am sure the problem ins't in here.
Please let me know if you need any further code to help you out. I am brand new to PHP and so far everything has ran smoothly up til now. I have my Zend Framework uploaded to my server and tested that my site is connecting to it properly. Any help on this would be so so awesome! Regarding Certification Details in Oracle Portal

Hi All,
I did OCA and OCP certification two years back. I have used weblink to see the history of my certification details with score card in oracle portal. Now i m hutting for the same link to see my certification details in the portal.
If anybody know how to see our certified details in oracle portal please forward me the same and its quite urgent.

Hi Prabu,
There is currently not a way to view your certification history online. We are working on a system that will allow this, but the system is still several months out. If you need to verify your certification details for a 3rd party (or for yourself), you can send an email to [email protected] and request verification of your certification(s). If you need to verify for a 3rd party, simply copy the 3rd party on the request and ask that the verification team reply to all in their response. Your 3rd party will receive the information required.

I now see the reasoning behind your question and it clearer for someone to answer. There are two types of certifications, product and consulting. If you are a consultant and want to get certified to demonstrate your skillset, then you want to take either the dev. or tech. consultant certification. However, if your company has build some kind of XI adapter, XI content or XI content for IS, then this is a product certification. Go to the Pearson Vue website [http://pearsonvue.com]. There is a function to choose a test center. Choose SAP as the type of test you need, then enter your location information.
When I entered Karnataka as the State/Province, I received a list of 20 test centres in Bangalore, 1 in Mangalore, and 1 in Mysore. Hope this is helpful to you.
Regarding your question about a requirement of two implementation projects and your comments on the related thread:
As far as I am aware, there is no specific requirement for a minimum of two SAP projects. It is of course, highly recommended to have experience in SAP Business One implementation as well as training in the solution. The certification test is designed for that level of knowledge. Since you mentioned that you have experience as a SAP Business One administrator, I would consider that experience as relevant.

Regarding certification in functional modules.

Like teched is anything for functional consultant to get certified.By taking only certification exams.
Or any other way to get certification in functional modules without studying in seimens or geneovate.By taking only certification exams.

Personally I felt CRM Sales 5.0 certification was quite easy and I think one can clear certification in this module without going through training academy at the above mentioned institutes. I have attended the academy for the above certification but I prepared for the exam properly only for 3 to 5 days and that was sufficient.
However, if you plan to go for certification without attending the academy then as far as I know your project manager or company needs to provide an experience letter stating you have 2 years of working experience in your stream of SAP for which you wish to write the exam. If your company provides you the experience letter then you can go for certification without attending the academy.
I am planning to go for another certification before the end of this year, may be CRM Webclient or CRM Services and i know i can go for it directly without attendin the academy.

Regarding certification fees at Teched

Hi,
I need a small clarification regarding the fees to be paid at Teched, Bangalore. I would like to take the full conference and take up one of the exam. Should i need to pay Rs.14,000/- and Rs.5,500/- or just Rs.14,000/- is enough?
