  • Issue with SLA reports of Exchange 2010 MP in SCOM 2007 R2 !!

    Hi,
I have issues with Exchange 2010 MP SLA reporting. Whenever report is run it fails on some or the other dataset(Outage**,SLAbyDAte etc.) When I digged in, I found that it is connecting to DW Exchange 2010 Availability tables + Planned maintainance +
outage table. The tables were not available in the DW, not sure how it got removed. Initially I tried by uninstalling and installing MP(Exchange 2010  & Exchange 2010 reports both) if relevant tables get created automatically but it did
not help and I was still facing the same issue. Then I tried to create the tables manually and check if it could resolve the issue. There was unique ID associated(different in different computer) with the name of most of the tables. I tool it from Exchange
report data source which exists in reporting server. But I could see that table remain empty with no records there and SLA report start giving different issues stating table instances do not exist.
Could anyone help me to restore the SLA report of Exchange 2010 MP ? How should I ensure that data start populating the tables ? I am also helpless here because we do not have correct DW dump to restore back to earlier when it was working fine.

    Hi,
Based on my research, to correctly install the Correlation Engine, consider the following when you install the Exchange 2010 Monitoring Management Pack:
Determine which server will host the Correlation Engine. While not strictly required, it's strongly recommended that the Correlation Engine be installed on the Root Management Server computer.
Make sure that you download and install the Exchange 2010 Management Pack that matches the operating system for the selected server. You can install the 32-bit or 64-bit version.
Make sure that you run the Microsoft Installer (.msi) package on the server where you want the Exchange 2010 Management Pack and the Correlation Engine to be installed.
After the installation is complete, the Correlation Engine service will have been installed on the server, and the Management Pack files will have been copied to the
System Center Management Packs folder. By default, the installation directory is C:\Program Files\System Center Management Pack.

  • Solution Manager SLA reporting

I use SolMan to create different SLA reports - for different clients in
    one solution.
The problem I'm facing is that the "General Settings for
SL Report xx" data are not saved for the report chosen, but for all
reports: the address, header and frontpage data saved as the last for
report x overwrites the same data for other reports. Additionally some
data even if can be entered there, are not fully displayed on the
report - sometimes they are shorter on the report than in configuration.
Is it possible to save the (for example) customer data for only one
report, and the different data for the other report?

    Hello,
No there are not any daily reports for Alerts on Solution Manager.
However there is a reporting functionality in Central Performance History Reporting in the Alert Monitor.
The functions of the Central Performance History (CPH) include creating report definitions and reports. You can also call these functions from the Monitoring Attributes - Detail Data screen in the Alert Monitor. All reporting functions are available to you, and operation is simpler (especially for creating standard reports):
You can find more at this link: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/28/2809fb836924409478389f9e63581b/content.htm

  • Availability "SLA" report - wrong "Planned Maintance" for some servers

Just wondering if anybody knows of any bugs or perhaps what I am doing “wrong” here when I have created an availability “SLA” report
The report is the generic, availability and tagets a large group (1000) of SCOM health service watchers . Under downtime I am checking the options for “Planned Maintenance” and “Unplanned Maitenance”. When I run the report most seem correct – I spot
servers I know have been down and small amount of planned downtime for patching. However I
have bunch of servers (mabe 20) that all show pretty much 100% planned maintenance and all with the same odd uptime of say 4 hours exactly. I cant find anything common with these servers. I even removed the SCOM agent from one server, left
a litte while and re-installed and this still shows up in this fashion. Any ideas?
    I am running SCOM2012 SP1 CU4
    Many thanks

    Hi,
It seems like that there are cache data for the agent, what is the result when we use report tasks under monitoring console for that specific server?
If the issue still there, then I would like to suggest you refer to the below blog, and follow the article to re-install the agent:

  • SLA Report generate and download automatically

    Hi,
I u2018m looking for a way to generate  SLA report automatically (in batch) and also download it to a file system or move it to a SAP Portal KM environment.
Has anybody an idea how I can doit ?
    Regrads
    Robert

    Hi Carsten,
    thank you for your answers.
you have to configure your button to submit the request "download". so give your
button the name "download" - you can set the display name like you want - but the >>"internal" name must be "download". Then you can use your condition as described.
... and .. the button must not have a target ...Sorry I think I was not clear enough on this. I allready did what you described without success. I thought there was some typo but I could not find one.
The button name is set to download and the condition is 'Request = Expression 1' in the select list and download in the textarea.
Unfortunately the process does not execute with this condition whereas it is executed when there is no condition. So I think there has to be some typo I did not recognized so I have to search again.
just make sure in your link that the :REQUEST is download
    f?p=&APP:ID.:&APP_PAGE_ID.:&SESSION.:download:...
("download" is the request parameter)Thank you, that's what I searched.

  • Help needed regarding ALV report

    Hi,
I have a query regarding ALV report.
    The requirement is as follows:-
When the user executes the ALV report and if he sums one numeric field column values and filters out some of the field columns ( for example there r 5 columns in the report and the user has filtered out 2 of them and viewing only 3 columns)
and now the requirements is that when the user runs the report later he should see the modified report ( i mean only 3 cloumns and the total value of the column which he has made) but not the original output which was there when the report was developed.
First of all i wanna know is it possible to do r not. If yes then how
Hope u have got what i want.
    eagerly waiting for ur reply.
    regards,
    maqsood

    Hi
Yes you can! You have to manage the layout variant.
So when you call your ALV you have to set the parameter I_SAVE = 'A'.
In this way you'll allow the user to save the variants for layout.
After you has to have a chance to choose the variant in selection-screen.
See the demo program BCALV_GRID_11 to manage the variant in selection-screen.

  • Regarding Interactive reports

    Hi All,
Yesterday i submitted a query regarding Interactive reports.and i recieved lots of reply .But the replies are all about ALV interactive report.I want to know just about the interactive reports where ew use AT LINE OF SELECTION, HIDE e.c.
PLZ send methe documents related that.
    Thanks and Regards
    RASHMI

    Hi
    Interactive Reports
As the name suggests, the user can Interact with the report. We can have a drill down into the report data. For example, Column one of the report displays the material numbers, and the user feels that he needs some more specific data about the vendor for that material, he can HIDE that data under those material numbers. And when the user clicks the material number, another report (actually sub report/secondary list) which displays the vendor details will be displayed.
We can have a basic list (number starts from 0) and 20 secondary lists (1 to 21). Events associated with Interactive Reports are: 1. AT LINE-SELECTION 2. AT USER-COMMAND 3. AT PF<key> 4. TOP-OF-PAGE DURING LINE-SELECTION. HIDE statement holds the data to be displayed in the secondary list. sy-lisel : contains data of the selected line. sy-lsind : contains the level of report (from 0 to 21)
    Interactive Report Events:
AT LINE-SELECTION : This Event triggers when we double click a line on the list, when the event is triggered a new sublist is going to be generated. Under this event what ever the statements that are been return will be displayed on newly generated sublist.
AT PFn: For predefined function keys...
AT USER-COMMAND : It provides user functions keys.

When you run the program, the system displays the following basic list with a the page header defined in the program:
You can trigger the AT LINE-SELECTION event by double-clicking a line. The system sets the status TEST and deactivates the function code PICK. The status TEST contains function codes FC1 to FC5. These are assigned to pushbuttons in the application toolbar. The page header of the detail list depends on the status.
Here, double-clicking a line no longer triggers an event. However, there is now an application toolbar containing five user-defined pushbuttons. You can use these to trigger the AT USER-COMMAND event. The CASE statement contains a different reaction for each pushbutton.
For each interactive event, the system decreases the SY-LSIND system field by one, thus canceling out the automatic increase. All detail lists now have the same level as the basic list and thus overwrite it. While the detail list is being created, SY-LSIND still has the value 1.

  • Query regarding Crystal Reports Server

    Hi,
I am new to Crystal Reports.
I have created a couple of .rpt files using CR2008 and I am loading these report files in my aspx pages using CrystalReportViewer control.
I am planning to host my webApp on IIS in production environment. Maximum simultaneous/concurrent connections to my reports would be 1 or 2.
    My question is:
    1. Do I need Crystal Reports Server in this scenario?
    2. In future if the number of concurrent users to report increases then do I need to go for Crystal Reports Server? Will just buying and installing the Crystal reports server on production server work? or will I have to do some configuration or some other changes in the existing deployed reports? OR Will I have to deploy my existing reports on Crystal Report Server again?
Any help will be highly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance,

  • Total Number of IDocs in SLA Reporting

    Hi,
can anyone tell me, how to add the total number of IDOCs to the SLA Reporting?

Dog Pa,  That information is in the status bar.  If the status bar is hidden, enable it by clicking CTRL+/.
Then it will look as it did in previous versions of iTunes.

  • SLA reporting in SCOM - can I sort Health from Computer?

    Hi,
I am trying to do what others have done before in creating an SLA report from SCOM. I am going down the route of using the Health Service Agent watcher as what I am going to report on rather than Windows computer etc.
My first problem was just reporting on "PROD" rather than "DEV" servers which are all in the same environment. I could do this with manual groups but wanted something dynamic. Using Kevin's article I have got this working -
Creating dynamic groups via registry key
All well and good. The problem now was that I cant use that for creating the actual groups (OK for Windows Computer but not the health service agent watcher). The following then helped and worked (with a little hacking of the XML for SCOM2012) -
Adding health service to the groups
This is fine and does add the health service watcher so you have this AND the Windows computer object.
To be honest I only real wanted the health service watcher in my report but could live with the Windows computer too. However when I run the report now I get both instances of the server (computer and watcher) but they are not even together in the report
    - i.e. it may list it as - SERVERA (windows) SERVERB (health) SERVERB (windows) SERVERA (health) so very unorganized.
Is there anyway I can create a dynamic health service group or perhaps anyway to tidy up the SLA??
    thanks

    Hello,
Yes, But I recommend connecting to both machines in turn and choosing "Manually Manage Music and Videos" and setting all the settings before putting any content on.

  • Email SLA Reporting

Is there a way to get email SLA reports out of the Ironport M-series appliances?
Ideally we would like to report on % of emails delivered within x mins. % delivered outside of SLA etc
Is this data available in the normal reporting function on the M-Series?
Can we see time periods where emails are delayed. Like during periods of work queue build up.
    Thanks
    Paresh

    Hello Paresh,
the Email Appliances do not provide such a report, basically because an SLA is very much dependent on external factors, i.e. availability of a remote host (mailbox full), an email provider that throttles traffic, etc. Instead I would recommend looking for the status reports and logs instead, where a high number of  messages in workqueue indicates receiving problems, and a high number of active recipients indicates delivery problems. Looking at these numbers will easily help you to detect potential problems when they occur.
    Hope that helps,
    Andreas

  • SCCM- SLA reports.

    Hi All,
Can somebody share how we can run SLA reports for SCCM software updates features. IF we can ru  it from SCOM what should be the SLO that needs to be defined , before we can go-ahead and run SLA reports.
    Rgs,

The only way to get rid of unknown compliance state is to troubleshoot why your PCs are not return data to CM07. There are many reason why they will show unknown state, these include:
    PCs are turn off
PCs have a GPO prevent them from scanning against the CM07 SUP.
    WMI issue
    Windows Update issue.
    Etc.
The bottom line is that you need to troubleshoot each PC and determine the reason why.
