Urgent: Regarding Sending Email Notifications

Hi all,
We have scenario in which we have to search those users who has not accessed their accounts from last 2 years and then send them an email notification and after one month of notificatio we have to search those users who have been notified but yet not accessed their account and delete those accounts from LDAP.
For this we are using JNDI to search users. Now we are facing two problems:
1. The users email ids are in the form of List. When we refer this list in To address of Email Template then it gives us an exception: Saying that service not responding, No recepient addresses while in case of hard coded values it runs successfully. I think this is due to that it requires a semicolon(;) seperated list to send email notification. Thats why we thought that we have to use some looping to send the notifications to one user at a time. But if there is any other solution, please suggest.
2. For the scenario of the users to be deleted, how will we come to know whether after two years the users have been notified successfully??
This is really urgent. Please suggest any idea regarding the above issues.

The way to do it would be to put your human task inside a while loop. This while loop would set a variable to the approver's userid and would continue till all the four approve it. In your human task you need just one approver and that would be the variable which the while loop sets.
If you do it this way, then you can use the OOTB notification tab in the .task and select the 'Assignee' as the email notification receiver and you won't have to worry about getting the email ids as well.
As for the current approach which you have, that is of using the sequential approvers in the human task, I haven't tried it, but just try setting the notification tab in the .task to 'Assignee' and event 'On Assignment'. That should do it as well.

Error with the email Notification XPD Targeted Ideations

We are working with xPD in Portal 7.0 SP 16, we have configured portal with xpd correctly, first in Development Environment and it work fine, the problem is when we did the same configuration in QA Environment, because we are having problems with the email notifications that are generated within the Targeted Ideations. If we test in QA, sometimes send the email to 1 person from 5 participants that are in the Corresponding Targeted ideation. searching the logs we found the following error:

Adding a hyperlink to the email notification for leave approval

Hi All,
Is it be possible to have a hyperlink in the email notification that goes to the approver ( for a leave ) so that the approver can click on the link and be taken straight to the ESS/ MSS portal to approve/reject the leave request?

Basically you can modify the standard task too. Of course it is not recommended, but maybe it is not that bad, if you only need to modify the work item text (and the variables are already available in the container, so you don't need to do any additional bidnings and container elements (or do you?)).
Other options is that you take a copy of TS12300097 and a copy of the leave request worfklow template, and then do the changes to these copies. Then you just need to remember to also check the SPRO settings, that your copy of workflow is started instead of the standard workflow.

How to add one more user the email notification

I would like to know, how I can add 'CC' / One more user to the email notification?
Currently system is sending email with From Address, And To address (to the user email). But I need to send email to User and one Administrator.

"Set the Search Allowed property to True for any LOV result items you want to present to the user as searchable values. These items are listed in the search poplist the user sees in the LOV window.
At a minimum you must set the Search Allowed property to True for the the result table item corresponding to the LOV field on the base page.
This is from the devguide, I suggest you read it once at least if you have started work on the framework.

Actually, another person on the "more like this" had the right answer. It meant I had a notification for an invite that I needed to respond to.

Please return to the use of subjects for the email notifications like in the old system.
I have no way of sorting post. Even sorting by subject doesn work right.

I configured 2 email Accounts in my ipad2
one for the Work.
Another for the personal Account(Gmail)
I like to hide the email notification for un-read mail from my personal account(Gmail) (Even if I fetch the data "Manually" from the advanced Option) and not for my Work Account.
Any help ..

The forms received are used as part of a registration process into aonther system and aren't that User friendly in an email form. They have to be processed as received, so not efficiet to go in through the back end.

Can I change the email notification sound?

I can't hear the email notification sound on my iPhone. Is there a way to customize it? I have it turned up as loud as it will go, but, if I'm out somewhere, and my phone is in the holster, I can't hear it!

The email sound options are in Settings> Sounds. There is no option to change the tone.

When the email notifer comes up it says "e.g. 4 unread mess. really only 1 unread .. how to get more accuracy there

when the email notifer for my hotmail account appears in the bottom right corner, it will indicate for example 4 unread messages in your inbox...but in fact there may be only 1 or 2 unread even though there are still 4 messages in the inbox...how do I get the notifer to recognize the previously read emails, and only pick up the "new" ones?
