  • How can I include a Credit Mgmt Case Folder URL in a workflow notification?

    I have a requirement to add a URL to a workflow notification, which is easy enough. The issue I am having is that I am not able to create a URL that successfully opens the Credit Management Case Folder that is specified in the worflow notification.
    I am only able to get the URL to launch the following successfully: http://<ce:0000>/OA_HTML/RF.jsp?function_id=16351&resp_id=23916&resp_appl_id=222&security_group_id=0&lang_code=US
    Has anyone else solved this issue? Any help would be appreciated.

    We are using eBusiness Suite 11.5.10.2, 10g database
    I created a woflow attribute of type URL.
    Name: Case Folder Link
    Frame Target: New Window
    Value: http://<instance>/OA_HTML/RF.jsp?function_id=16351&resp_id=23916&resp_appl_id=222&security_group_id=0&lang_code=US
    I then added the following line to add the URL attribute to the HTML message body.
    Case Folder Link : &CASE_FOLDER_LINK
    When using the link above I don't get any error message. However when I try to change the URL to a specific case folder URL (Note this URL should change depending on the Case Folder # provided in the notification message.):
    http://<instance>/OA_HTML/OA.jsp?_rc=ARCMANALYSISDATACRDSUMMARYPAGE&_ri=222&retainAM=Y&cmSubRegion=PARTYREGION&cmPartyId=%7B!!k5vkXUpUCWxLhSZj.uqBHQ%7D&cmCustAccountId=%7B!!lBrDTc7.B3E6QA-16tJNIw%7D&cmSiteUseId=%7B!!7jcW1qvgKOeEFCpFYCanSA%7D&OAHP=ARCMMENUAPPLICATION&OASF=ARCMANALYSISDATACRDSUMMARY&_ti=1687529995&oapc=9&oas=GiXPV8nU9RQ6Ej53zIESsw..
    The error I receive is:

  • Workflow API which can be used to avoid sending notification to user

    Hi Folks,
    We want Workflow API which can be used to avoid sending notification to user for particular type of error.
    Say we are using following API which are used to send notification to mailbox as soon as program run into error.
    wf_core.context(c_v_package_name
    ,c_v_func_name2
    ,p_event.getEventName()
    ,c_v_task_id_prompt||l_n_task_id
    ,l_v_msg_data);
    wf_event.seterrorinfo(p_event, c_v_result_error);
    Now we want to restrict certain type of error to send as a notification however we want to keep this record in wf_notifications table for further investigation.
    Thanks and Regards,

    Matt,
    It looks like another person had a similar question before, see the following thread:
    https://supportforums.cisco.com/discussion/9697836/can-use-axl-or-other-api-get-calls-progress
    Also, according to the comments seen on that post, I was able to find the JTAPI developers guide, see more information below:
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/voice_ip_comm/cucm/jtapi_dev/8_6_1/jtapidevguide/overview.html
    If this still does not satisfy your question then, the best you can do is post this inquiry on the Cisco Developer Network on the following link:

    Hope this information helps,

  • Workflow notification, where I can control which should send by email

    Hi,
    In a old version SRM3.5 (but is a general question for most of versions) customer wants some workflow notifications by email, I have activated SO16 option and is working but now customer wants to deliver only some of the notifications by email and SO16 doesn't allow to discriminate.
    The SPRO notification option must be activated but only some of them should be delivered by email.
    Do you know any BADI or any other form to discriminate that notifications go by email
    thanks

    Hello Jorge,
    Are you talking about recipient notification or approval workflow mail ?
    If it is for approval workflow, see my previous response.
    On the contrary, if it is about recipient notication, Muthuramam gave you the good way: by customizing, you can define for which document type you allow or not recipient notification.
    Regards.

  • Why I am not able to approve/reject my workflow notification from email?

    For R12 AP Invoice Approval Workflow, I have done Approver group set ups in AME. In HR People form, set my email id for that person. In FND USER from, used that person as the employee to have the email id populated for the user and saved the record.
    When I am creating an invoice and initiating workflow, I am getting a notification in my mailbox but cannot approve or reject from the mailbox. I may hit the Approve link but it is not doing anything. In order to approve/reject the notification, I have to log in as that person in Oracle Apps and do it from there.
    Is there anything I am missing? I have a requirement that the approver only approve / reject from their mailbox and they do not log in to Oracle Apps to see their notifications. What to do to make them enable approving from mailbox only?
    I am having a steep deadline and will very much appreciate your responses.
    Thanks.

    When you try to approve/reject or do any operation on the workflow using email the issue is the you do not have the responsibility/user values set.
    You need to login to Oracle Apps and select the correct resp in order to take action on workflow.
    Please check if you are table to take action from oracle apps that explains it. there are a couple of metalink notes too.
    You may apply appropriate patch and then this will work.
    If it is an SSHR WF you need to be minimum on ATG ROLLUP 7

  • Push workflow notification in gateway

    Hi All,
    I want to push workflow notification to external server via Gateway system ,
    I have followed some links for push notifications made easy .
    Here  i need to know , what is the exact report or badi i need to implement for push notifications ?
    I have followed the below URL's :
    Pushing Notifications Made Easy!!! : Push a Notification
    In the above URL , there is a report which will push notification and it's need to be implemented via badi
    IF_EX_ADDRESS_UPDATE~ADDRESS3_SAVED.
    is the below user exit helpful :
    /IWWRK/ES_WF_ITEM_SEL_OB
    Pl let me know any badi exists for workflow notifications .

    Hi Lokeshwar,
    The ADDRESS_UPDATE BAdI used in the Notification blog is just an example where IF_EX_ADDRESS_UPDATE~ADDRESS3_SAVED method was implemented. This is the trigger mechanism used in the blog. Its totally up to the application developer to use a specific notification trigger mechanism as mentioned in the blog. In the blog, the user is subscribed to the entityset - "UserCollection" and change type  - "created" which means that the user shall be notified whenever a new user is created.
    Now based on your use case and subscription created, you have to choose how to trigger an event for notifying the user. I am sorry but I do not know about user exit /IWWRK/ES_WF_ITEM_SEL_OB.
    Hope this helps you.

  • GRC Request Rejected - Closing Notification Incorrect

    Hi All,
    I came across a scenario where if the entire request has been rejected by the approver, then closing notification shows "No provisioning logs avaialble"
    This is wrong as it should show proper message for rejected requests.
    We are on GRC SP13. I found a SAP note which talks about this issue, but it is applicable for SP9.
    1708300 - UAM : Incorrect message in the request closing email
    1594181 - MSMP Notification Closing template correction
    If anyone has come across the same issue, please help with this issue
    Regards,
    Sai.

    Hi Sai,
    Your expectation is correct, but %PROVISIONING% catches the data only once request is processed as per provisioning setting, wherein case of rejections it does not reaches to provisioning stage, so it does not catches reason Rejected/cancelled.
    Solution:
    You can check with SAP to modify the logic for provisioning to catch these reasons through %PROVISIONING% variable through notification rule GRAC_NOTIF_VAR_RULE_AR
    Solution with present situation:
    Remove notification event END_OF_REQUEST from "Process Global Settings"  as well as from notification settings at stage level.
    If you have two stages:
    Notification setting for stage 1:
    Notification Event: Rejected-->>Template ID: GRAC_AR_REJECTED or the custom one if you want text changes-->>GRAC_USER
    Notification Event: Approved-->>select template as per your requirement of notification
    Notification setting for Stage 2:
    Notification Event: Rejected-->>Template ID: GRAC_AR_REJECTED or the custom one if you want text changes-->>Recipient ID: GRAC_USER
    Notification Event (As for last stage): Approved-->>Template ID: GRAC_AR_CLOSE (Standard with variable %PROVISIONING%)-->>Recipient ID: GRAC_USER also for Requester.
    This way user will get provisioning details only for approved requests and text for rejection for rejected requests.

  • Workflow/Notification email - Body is blank

    Hi all
    I am using a workflow notification in MDM to send an email to a user.  The email arrives as intended - correct address, correct subject line, -  but the problem is the body of the email is blank.  I have specified a message text (in Visio, under the notification property E-Mail Body) but the email arriving has no message in it.
    Can anyone explain why this might be? Has anyone experienced this problem before?
    Many Thanks
    Edd

    Hi ED,
    Which MDM version you are currently working upon?
    As I also implemented this Notify step stencil in my workflow and it works fine with the correct address and subject line.
    Kindly follow the below steps correctly and you should get the desired result.
    For Notify Step: In mds.ini file
    Only Server Name need to be mentioned in MDS.ini file.
    server name =IP Address
    Prefer to use IP Address of the Mail server instead Name.
    Sample example of the body of the email:
    If you wish to send the JobId,Job name ,StepID,Stepname in the mail then write the body of teh mail as below
    BODY:  JOBID: %JOBID%
                JOBNAME: %JOBNAME&
                STEPID: %STEPID%
                STEPNAME: %STEPNAME%
                                    %RECORDS%
    Kindly follow the below links for further help on this
    Re: Mail server config in mds.ini file | MDM 5.5 SP06

  • How do I remove an email address from a workflow notification?

    Hi, I was wondering if you could help me please. Can you tell me how to remove an old email address from a workflow notification? The person's name and email address have already been removed from the list of Users in the Admin area, but some workflow notifications are still being sent to their email. Any ideas?
    Many thanks for your help.

    Thanks Liam, I'd previously looked at the also notify field and it didn't show any other email addresses. This time I clicked on the second of my two options in the Workflow Steps field, and then clicked back on the first one  again, and hey presto, two email addresses appeared! The offending email address has now been removed.
    Thanks again for your help. Cheers!

  • #ATTACHMENTS handler in workflow notification for multiple attachments

    I would like to attach multiple documents to a workflow notification. The number of attachments are not known at design time.
    I see that #ATTACHMENTS handler is used for purpose, but I am not clear how to use it with PLSQLBLOB usage.
    How to return multiple documents to the #ATTACHMENTS special handler using PLSQLBLOB?
    Created a message attribute of Type=Document and gave internal name as #ATTACHMENTS. Now time to set a PLSQLBLOB function, but to attach multiple documents. Not sure how ....
    Note, I do seem some examples with FND:entity usage which shows attachments fine in the worklist, but the attachments are not shown in the email when using workflow mailer due to limitations with FND usage. Using PLSQLBLOB Document, I'm able to show attachments in both worklist and email, but each document attribute can handle only one attachment file. The number of attachments are not known at design time. I would like to use #ATTACHMENTS handler but for PLSQLBLOB usage.
    Can some throw more light on #ATTACHMENTS tag with PLSQLBLOB usage for multiple attachments?
    Thanks!

  • Attach document as a link in oracle workflow notification

    Hi,
    I have a requirement to attach a word document stored as BLOB in database as a link in workflow notification.The link (document) should be visible and opened both from the workflow notification in the workflow admin notification queue and notification mail the approver receives.
    I am getting the document from fnd_lobs and storing it in the item attribute of type Document.
    Please help me how to attach the item attribute of type Document as a link in the notification.
    This is urgent and any help is highly appreciated.
    Thanks
    David

    For attaching a document you need to perform the following steps
    1. The document type item attribute which is referred by message attribute must have the value in the form
    PLSQLBLOB:SA_MLRTST.GETBLOBDOCUMENT/&DOC_ID
    where SA_MLRTST.GETBLOBDOCUMENT is the PL/SQL procedure that generates a PL/SQL BLOB
    DOC_ID is an attribute representing the file_id column in fnd_lobs table
    2. The procedure GETBLOBDOCUMENT() must be of the form
    CREATE OR REPLACE package body SA_MLRTST
    as
    procedure getBlobDocument(document_id in varchar2,
    content_type in varchar2,
    document in out nocopy blob,
    document_type in out nocopy varchar2)
    is
    l_docid pls_integer;
    l_filename varchar2(100);
    l_errmsg varchar2(100) := 'The Document is not found in the Database';
    l_bdoc blob;
    l_data_type varchar2(100);
    begin
    l_docid := to_number(document_id);
    dbms_lob.CreateTemporary(l_bdoc, FALSE, DBMS_LOB.Session);
    select file_data
    into l_bdoc
    from fnd_lobs
    where id = l_docid;
    dbms_lob.Copy(document, l_bdoc, dbms_lob.getLength(l_bdoc));
    exception
    when others then
    dbms_lob.WriteAppend(document, length(l_errmsg), l_errmsg);
    wf_core.context('SA_MLRTST','getBLOBDoc',document_id);
    raise;
    end getBlobDocument;
    end SA_MLRTST;

  • Include Secure Zone name in Order Workflow Notification

    Hi All,
    Hoping that someone can help me with a solution for the following:
    We have a site that has a number of secure zones, each secure zone has an individual product catalogue assigned to it.
    The problem we have is that when someone does an order from within the secure zone, the Workflow notification does not contain any information about which secure zone the order came from.
    So I'm wondering if it is possible to write some code that will query what secure zone you are logged in to and have this as a hidden field on the Order page, to be included in the Workflow Notification.
    Does anyone know if this is possible?
    Cheers,
    Emily

    You can parse the user's securezone subscriptions out of {module_subscriptions,true,true,,true}, or you could look for an attribute unique to each catalogue, like <div data-catalogue="{{tag_somethingUnique">...catalogue template code...</div> plus jQuery('[data-catalogue]').data('catalogue');
