Reminder mail for workflow approval

Hi All,
We have a scheduled task which sends Reminder mails for workflow approval which has been pending for more than 5 days.
Recently I created new workflow definitions and reminder task stopped sending mails.
I checked task and it has IapiTaskIfc Class com.frictionless.custom.wkfreminder.sendWorkflowReminder.
How to check this class and do i need to make changes somewhere else to send reminder mails?

Resend e-mail for SC approval

Hi all,
I am having the following issue: In EBP an e-mail for SC approval was generated and sent to the approver. However, this resulted in an error since the e-mail address didn't exist. I have corrected the e-mail address, but I am not being able to resend the SC approval e-mail to the new address.
Can anyone help me with this?

In the program RSWUWFMLEC, we have set a variant. In the tasks field we have put into the selection, the workflow tasks we use for approval. If you leave this blank, it will pick up every workflow task.
The program (from the SAP information I had at the time) looks at any item in status NOT COMPLETE and sends an email to the approver, until the approver either approves or rejects the item. We run our program every 4 hours, so that approvers do not get lots of emails for the same items.
Futher down in the parameters, there is a date and user field. Normally again the user is left blank,to look at all users, but to test or check if the email will be sent, I asked Joao, to input the users id and make the date from, the day before the work item was raised. Also click the radio button for ALL. The report will show if an email will be sent or not.

Reminder Mail for PO/PR approval

Hi Experts,
For PO/PR approval, one mail is sent to respective person.
If the approval/reject activity is not done then one reminder mail should go after 24 hrs and after 48 hrs the PO/PR is required to approve automatically but the hours should consider weekdays also i.e. if PO/PR is created on Friday then the reminder mail should go on Monday because Saturday and Sunday is holiday.
This process should be done using workflow.
Please tell me the process/activity to configure this process.

But how to consider the weekdays for reminder mail.
I think :- Write a program to store the WI's in a Ztable for which Deadline Monitoring has to be done and shcedule in background.
Based on the date of the WI and time between the mail execution send the notification mail such a way.
Alternative:
create 2date and 2 time WF container elements one for latest start and other for latest end (one for each)
Before the workitem execution check create a background acivity step execute a method and in that step check for the creation date of WI whether Friday or Saturday or Sunday.
If its being executed on friday then export the mondays date and time to the wf container element for latest start and Tuesdays
date and time for latest end container elements that you had created.
In deadline monitoring tab of latest start and latest end select the Refer.date/time as Expression type and pass the new dates that you store in WF container element.

Reminder Emails for Pending Approval Items

Hi,
I am new to Oracle workflow but the current project I am working with uses Oracle Workflow. I have a query regading reminder emails that workflow sends for the pending approvals. Do you know in which table I can check the settings for reminder emails. Also, how these reminder emails for any pending approval is triggered.

i got a reqmt where i have to send a reminder mail to the
user's manager for the approval of the user's shopping cart.

Hi,
BBP_PD is the only transaction where you can see all the related info for tables storing the data for each type of document.
e.g. for Shopping cart(SC),in the selection screen ,you can give the SC no in the field "OBJECT ID" and see all the details(header as well as Item) as well as the table names whcih store this data.As you said there are some common tables also whcih store the data for all the docuemnts like CRMD_ORDERADM_H(for header data).You can however filter teh data in these table for different docuemnts based on the field OBJECT TYPE.e.g. for SC Object type is BUS2121,for Bid invitataion BUS2200..etc..
Similarly you can get all the info related to all the docuemnts whcih are created in SRM i.e. Bid invitation,quotation,Po etc....
For Sopping Cart details,refer tables:

Offline approval email for Workflow approver substitiutes

Hi,
We are on SRM 7.1 ECS.
Does the substitute function work true for OFFLINE APPROVAL emails also??
E.g. User B is a substitute of User A.If user A gest the offline approval emai,then should usre B also get the offline approval email?

I do not think the report might have the functionality to handle the substitution. May be what you can try is take a copy of the standard report and then try to customize as per your requirement .
Try some thing like below.
1. I assume that to identify a substitute for a user you might be storing these details in some Z table.
2. Take a copy of the standard offline report and then from this custom report read the try to read this table after the original agents are determined.
3. Finally schedule this report. with the same set of parameters that used to schedule the standard report.
But I I think this report actually reads the agents of the workitems and then it tries to send the notification to the same user. So first you have to check out that how the workitem is forwarded to the substitute . If the substitute is also a agent then this report directly sends the notification.

Garbage Mail in Outlook 2007 for workflow approval and completion

Dear SRM Gurus,
We have implemented SRM 7.0 and are currently facing issue with outlook 2007 integration.
The workflow work item mail are getting Fwd to Outlook after scheduling the report /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND with option
- one e-mail per workitem
-HTML format
- approval button not available.
However the work item mail is coming with garbage content. earlier we have formating issue and then implemented OSS Note 1482125 , after that entire mail content is a garabage mail in outlook. the format of the mail in SOST is now showing "HTM" and in SOST mail looks good.
Have anyone experienced this issue earlier ?
Or does outlook 2007 only support plain text format and not HTML format.
Any help in this will be appreciated.

Dear Iftekhar,
I guess your problem is the HTM format of the mails, as Outlook 2007 does not use browsers but MS Word to display the mails. You should try to send the RAW format.
For Outlook 2010, HTM is supported again, but weu2019re using RAW format, too, for that version.

Custom report for Workflow approval status

Hi Friends,
For one of my custom workflow the client needs a custom report to know the approval status. This custom workflow will be a multilevel approval and they want to know the status based on the object key(document number) like who has approved it at what time, who else has to approve etc which standard workflow tables can be used for this? Please advice.

External mail for workflow of release strategy for PO

Dear All,
I have configured the workflow of two step release strategy for purchase order and the internal mail is getting generated in the sap business workplace with the error message SWF_RUN 594 this i have taken care with SWE2 with changing the settings of "Behaviour upon error feedback" from "default" to "do not change linkage"
Now the requiremnt is that the message has to be send to first level releaser through external mail and once first level release the PO external mail should be send to second level releaser.
Please help me with the configuration step that is to be done

URL links for Workflow Approval Email per user & others

Hi all, we have upgraded to SRM7 and understand that we have to switch to using program /SAPSRM/OFFLINEAPPROVALSEND to generate the workflow notification emails. We have maintained the portal information in the SRM configuration to build the link. However, we have 2 issues here
1. We currently output collective email so emails are sent out at specific timing on a per user rather than per work item basis. The URL link does not seem to work in this case (for shopping cart approval example) and we get an object GUID error. The URL looks something like this
http://sap-ped.dev.xyz.com/irj/portal/?navigationtarget=obn://BOSystemAlias=SAP_SRM/BOTechnicalName=sc/Operation=detailprof&NavMode=3
Also, even if I run the program for a PO approval example, the BOTechnicalName is still pointing to sc.
However, if I do it on a per work item basis, the URL works.
Does anyone know where the control this setting?
2. External and internal portal
We have some users connecting to the portal through more secured channel (external portal). In this case, I couldn't find a way to generate the appropriate URL for the external. In the past in the older SRM version, the program was using the attribute ITS_DEST in PPOPMA_BBP to build the URL link. Now, I do not know how the system knows which portal URL to take if the control is no longer at user level.
Has anyone ever had this requirement before?
My worse case scenario to resolve the above issues would be to use the BADI to alter the content of the email notification. The purpose of posting this message here is to ensure that I am not missing out any standard SAP functionality which could meet our requirements.

Workflow mailer for workflow 2.6.2 Standalone on windows 2000 server?

Hi All,
Any idea, which mailer is an option on above config?
I am running into problems, trying to configure with MAPI and
Sendmail is not an option (am not on unix).
Saw article about how to configure for SMTP (java based mailer) but
it talks about 11i alone, and I do NOT have 11i, just standalone workflow 2.6.2.
U think, I am running into a brick wall or are there any options possible?

How to use a pwa group in CREATE A TASK PROCESS in SPD 2013 for project server workflow approval process

I am working on a Project Server 2013 workflow. I am creating this using Sharepoint Designer 2013. In this workflow I am using approval process at one stage. I have created a security group SalesManagers in PWA. I want to use this group for workflow approval
process. I want all users of this group get approval tasks.
For this I used START A TASK PROCESS activity in the SP Designer. I clicked on
this user and created task process. But here I could not find SalesManager group which I created in PWA. I was only able to find the users. I can also see
Administrators for PWA . But couldnot find SalesManager or any other security group created in pwa.
Can anyone suggest how I can get the security group created in pwa.

I believe SPD only recognizes the SharePoint Groups and not the project server security groups.
The Administrators for PWA, and few other groups like Project Managers for PWA etc., are synced SharePoint Groups with the security groups, which is why they show up in SPD.
You could create a SharePoint Group for the Sales Managers group and use that in SPD.

Redirection not working as expected after workflow approval

Hi,
We are migrating our application from Stellent 7.1 to WCC 11g and finding a strange issue in 11g with respect to a functionality that is working perfectly in 7.1.
We have two services for workflow approval. If the approval is happening from the QA workflow, the service being called is WORKFLOW_APPROVE_SUBMIT_QA and if it is happening from other workflows, the service being called is WORKFLOW_APPROVE_SUBMIT.
The actions for these two services are the same except the prepareRedirect action as given below:
1. WORKFLOW_APPROVE_SUBMIT redirects to IdcService=GET_PORTAL_PAGE&Action=GetTemplatePage&Page=WF_INQUEUE_LIST, which displays the workflow assignments for the user from all workflows.
3:prepareRedirect:IdcService=GET_PORTAL_PAGE&Action=GetTemplatePage&Page=WF_INQUEUE_LIST
2. WORKFLOW_APPROVE_SUBMIT_QA redirects to IdcService=QA_WORKFLOW_LIST (a custom service written that will display the contents in the user's queue from the QA workflow)
3:prepareRedirect:IdcService=QA_WORKFLOW_LIST::null
For WORKFLOW_APPROVE_SUBMIT service, the redirection is happening as expected.
But, WORKFLOW_APPROVE_SUBMIT_QA service is redirecting to IdcService=GET_DOC_PAGE&Action=GetTemplatePage&Page=HOME_PAGE instead of the specified redirect.
We tried changing the redirect action for the service WORKFLOW_APPROVE_SUBMIT_QA to IdcService=GET_PORTAL_PAGE&Action=GetTemplatePage&Page=WF_INQUEUE_LIST, but still it is redirecting to the HOME_PAGE.
Highly appreciate any solution for this issue or any suggestions on the possible cause.

Reminder mail- Stop

Dear Team,
Client is using the customized program for reminder purpose. For example during the hiring action maintained infotype 0019 (monitoring of task) i.e. Task type –end of probation (suppose-01.09.2014), reminder date-(suppose 01.08.2014).
After the reminder date system trigger the mail for confirmation.
Now employee has left dated 29th July 2014, client has process the termination action on 29th July 2014 through tcode -pc00_m40_term then tcode -sm35 and completed the process.
Now client is still getting the reminder mail for confirmation.
Please suggest how to stop the reminder mail.

After resigned the employees and full & final processed done, still the resigned employees employment confirmation mail for {infotype 0019 (monitoring of task) i.e. Task type –end of probation (suppose-01.09.2014), reminder date-(suppose 01.08.2014)} coming regularly.
As per my understanding, In separation action we are not delimiting the infotype 0019.
We would like to add infotype 0019 in separation action and operation is delimited
