Remote cannot select channels, either directly entered or by selecting channel in the guide.

For a month, everything worked perfectly. Now all of a sudden entering a channel and hitting Enter, or OK does nothing. I only discovered this after I looked through the guide and found I show I wanted to watch. I hit OK, or Enter and the guide goes away and I am still on the channel the box was tuned to previously. The only way I can change channels is by using the channel button, going one channel at a time until I get to the channel I want to watch.
I am soooo frustrated!! I have reset the box and looked through every menu I could find to see if there was a setting somewhere that got switched.
Help me, please!!

Do you have more than one? If so, does it happen on all boxes? Does a remote from another box have the same issue?

Are you working on a background layer? If so, Ctrl + T will not work. Press Alt and double-click your background layer to convert to a normal layer (or right-click BG layer and select Layer from Background) and try again.
If you're working in Photoshop CC 2014 you can go to Preferences > Experimental Features and tick "Scale UI 200% for high-density displays" to make your buttons and icons larger.

When uploading photos to Photobucket or Imgur or select forums either nothing happens at all or I get the "connection was reset" error. I have no problem uploading photos to other forums and FB. Firewall disabled, Spyware Doctor OFF, UAC off. Win 7-64.

I have cleared the cache and history on both IE and firefox. When I try to upload photos to Photobucket, I get "IOException" and when I try to upload photos to paleoplanet (yuku) I get the "The connection was reset" firefox error. I can upload photos to FB and other forums just fine. I tried to use Imgur instead of Photobucket and I get a similar failure.

Directly enter edit mode of JTable cell

Hi Everyone,
On my UI, i am showing editable JTable. When I click on table's row / cell, it selects the row. Fine.
But I want that it should directly enter edit mode of cell and the whole text is to be selected and highlighted and focussed.
Thus, user can directly type the new text.
Please suggest correct approach to handle this scenario.

** For text selection you have two choices. Remove the "xxx" from either
** editCellAt() or prepareEditor() method.
** The difference is in how mouse double clicking works
** To place a cell directly into edit mode, use the changeSelection() method.

Applications cannot be installed in TS unless option ' Access directly from DP" is selected

I am trying to install applications that were deployed using software distribution to many users via RAP and mandatory. Normally the applications then are added in TS to get a WIM image and subsequently added to a deployment TS. The image created is on a
VM machine which is then cloned on ESX to push to new machines. I get error when i try to install the applications via TS if the option ' Download contents when required'. I created a separate TS in which these four applications get installed if option 'Access
directly from DP' is selected. However if i put ''Access directly from DP" in the main TS that creates the WIM file, i am not able to proceed in the WIn PE section. So i have to download the contents in full before running the TS. Would this cause the
WIM file to increase in size ?

Yes, most likely. New iMacs use Intel CPU's & require a different version of the OS software, even when the version number (e.g., 10.4.2) is the same. If the "someone" was truthful about wanting to use 10.3, he or she probably has discovered that is impossible with a newer iMac, & will need these disks.
In any event, the software is bundled with the iMac as part of the license & cannot not legally be sold apart from it. (Words to this effect should appear on the DVD label.)
Return the disks & get your money back.

Lync 2013 generates repeated messages stating “Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please run Microsoft Outlook and set it as the default mail client.”. Events that
seem to generate messages is disconnecting and re-connecting to a network but it also happens randomly and the messages will stack up during a working day. Everything seem to work OK but it is an annoyance. The computer is upgraded (uninstalled first)
from Office 2013 ProPlus to Office 365 ProPlus. Outlook (Desktop) is default mail client. 64-bit Windows 8.1 Enterprise, 64-bit Office (both before upgrade and after).

Other processes that have Outlook plugins may also be the parent of the message popup (third party applications).
Yes the Lync add-in is enabled. Lync functionality in/from Outlook seem unaffected.
It is not possible to send emails from other applications (explorer, word, excel etc.) ie. right clicking and send to generates the messages and
a follow up error message concerning lack of MAPI enabled e-mail.

Value help for a custom field, ENTER press after selection wanted

my requirement is quite simple; in an SRM 7 system, a value help (control table Z_V_EKORG) is associated to a custom (input) field, ZZ_EKORG.
By pressing the search button on it, some fixed values appears in a list but then, after the selection of a value, no refresh/badi is triggered.
To trigger a refresh (and passage thru CHANGE and CHECK BADIs) the user is forced to press the ENTER key on the inputfield.
I'm wondering if there's a way to automatically set an action/event (e.g. ENTER key pressed after input) to the selection from the list; I guess it should be a property of the selection for that value help, but I cannot find explicit information on how to do that.

Is it possible to pass multi-select dashboard prompts to direct database requests?
I have a report based on direct database request that needs the ability to run for all customers or the selected combination of customers.
For example:

System hangs anytime there is a restart either forced by update or selected from "start" button

Model: p7-1227cWindows: Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 (64-bit)Processor: AMD A10-5700 APU with Radeon HD Graphics 3.40 GHzRAM: 12 GBBIOS: JAS_704.rom v 7.04 (AMI 7.04, 3/16/2012)SMBIOS Version: 2.7 In recently applying a Windows update, my system loaded the update and required a restart. The system shut down showing the log off screen and stating not to turn my system off as it was applying the update. After appearing to fully complete the update during the log off process, the machine went to restart, however the monitor went blank and the power button on the monitor started blinking as if there was no signal to the monitor. Assuming that perhaps it was a monitor issue, I tested the monitor on several other PCs and also connected a different monitor to my HP Pavilion with no change - monitors all worked properly and the system would still hang on a blank screen anytime there was a restart. I also tried removing all USB devices (mouse, printer, keyboard) during a restart and the system still would hang. Next troubleshooting piece was to try and remove the updates and restore to a date prior to the issue - this also did not work or resolve my issue. I removed a number of software programs assuming that perhaps there was a conflict, including the removal of my anit-virus software and the system still would hang. I ran a scan and chkdsk with no reported errors. I also used the built-in tool from HP to check the HDD and all results show everything was ok. I looked in my event log to see if there was any information that might help me troubleshoot, but most of the logs seem to be generic information as it pertains to start up and shut down and the "hangs" on the various restarts. (See below) With still no solution, I finally did a factory reset to hopefully restore everything and eliminate the problem and that did not resolve it either. I tried it twice (once from the partition and once from recovery discs). After restoring my system to the factory reset, I went to HP and updated all my drivers to see if that eliminated the problem - still hangs on any restart. I installed all the Windows updates and still no change - would hang after each system restart. At this point, I don't know what else to try. I have looked to see if there is a BIOS update, but for this particular system, it doesn't appear HP has one - not even the original one is listed on the support driver/software download page. I have been able to enter what appears to be a hybrid BIOS/HP Setup screen and select reset all settings, but that did not resolve the issue. In a nutshell, the system will start Windows completely fine from a cold boot. It will start if the machine is shut down through the log off process and is off for approximately 2 minutes. It will hang up if you use the restart option while in Windows from the start menu or if the system does a restart due to an update. The only way to get out of the blank screen and "hung" system is to hold the power button until it powers down (defnitely not the ideal way to power down). I thought perhaps there was an issue with the temperature of the PC, but even on a cold boot after sitting all night, if you have the system instantly do a restart (less than a minute of the PC being on), the machine will hang up on a blank screen. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated - hopefully I have provided enough detail here to resolve the issue. The PC is not under factory warranty, but I do have the option to leverage the AMEX extended warranty, however that requires an estimate through a HP approved repair center which isn't very convenient.

Hi, Disconnect all devices other than the keyboard, mouse and monitor. I don't think that hardware is causing the shutdown issue but you can never be sure that it's not hardware. The HP hardware diagnostics might give you some confidence that hardware is not the issue. Run a fully virus and malware scan to make sure that the system is clean. Run these Norton tools or another similar product to make sure that your PC is clean. Another suggestion is to revert to a known good Windows restore point before the issued started. This might eliminate a bad Windows update. Typically a hang on shutdown is a result of a task/service not responding to a terminate request from Windows. Since the same hang occurs under SAFE MODE, I suggest that you review the tasks and services running when in SAFE MODE and see if you can determine what possibly is causing the issue. You might at this point consider doing a full HP recovery using the HP external recovery media.
