why on earth would you want to do this? This would make the BSO cube huge and long to calc. There are other ways to simulate this without actually loading all the zeros.
1. Add a dimension to the cube (or use an existing dimension) with a member like input. the have a dynamic formula on a second member called reporting with the formula If(Input == #missing) 0; ENDIF
The users would retrieve using the reporting member,
2. In smart View or the Essbase Add-in in the options replace #missing with (0) that will return a numeric zero for #missing. If you are using smart View you could also use #numericzero it does the replacement and has additional functionality if you send data

The two ways to change this without distroying your database are
1. create a dynamically calculated member (call it account_zeroed) that checks to see if the account is #missing and returns a zero
Soemthing like IF(@ISMBR(myscenario) and Account ==#Missing)

Account

2. Handle this in excel like it should be. If the user wants numeric zeros and they are using the classic Add-in then to get a numeric zero use (0) as your missing replacement. If smartview then use #numericZero

How to replace #MISSING with 0 in Hyperion Financial Report

I am developing report in Hyperion Financial Reporting Studio. The report shows #MISSING for no data and does not look nice. I want to replace #MISSING with 0 (Like I did in SmartVIEW). However, I could not find a way to do that in Financial Reporting Studio.

To replace no data (#MISSING) in cells, type a value in the No Data text box.

Find/Replace Missing With New Monitor

Hi,
I've been happily using DW CS4 for about a year now with 2 19" monitors. I recently am stuck using a single 22" monitor which is generally fine, but my Find/Replace window is now missing. I'm assuming it is off somewhere in the 'virtual' screen. How do I get it -back-? I tried resetting the workspace but although it brings together most of the windows, I do -not- see Find/Replace. (I -can- however see the Find/Replace results pane).
Ideas?

You could also do through row/column formatting.

How to replace missing fonts with a specific font (and not a suggested font)

Hello all!
Looking to replace missing fonts within my document - but the drop-down selection only gives a couple of suggestions, none of which are the font I want to use.
How can I replace the fonts with a font of my choosing?
I've attached an image to give more clarity - notice how the drop-down only gives the option to select between 3 fonts without an option to select your own font - many thanks!

Same problem! The only solution I found is to prepare a textbox in a new file with all the font you need. Copy and past in the file you need to change font. Go to type/risolve missing font. Will open the same window in the pic you pasted. Then you find the font in the dropdown menu. I have to change all the Helvetica family ...it's a long go. If some one could save me. Hope to be usefull to your problem.

I have cleared data as well as cache on all apps. I have downloaded the vzw messaging app, which seems silly, since it happens with several different processes and apps, but all to no avail. I am missing texts from my employer, from my family. This did happen, but rarely, before this "soak test". It is now Kitkat version 19.6.3.obake_verizon.en.US. THIS is when I started having problems...like 50 times a day kind of problems! I have seen hundreds of posts all over the internet over the past 3 days. Does no one know how to fix this??? Shouldn't there be a way to revert phone to a pre-update state? and no, hard reset did NOT work!!!! I have been with verizon for well over 15 years, but I have not upgraded my lines and will not in July either. This is ridiculous. It's not like my games aren't working, it is my messaging and "android os"...my lifeline at work!

Oh no, I am sorry to hear your messages are not working since the software update. I greatlly appreciate doing all that troubleshooting to try and get the messaging application back in business. I know how much I rely on my messages so I can understand the urgency to get this resolved. Have you had a resolution ticket opened since you started experiencing issues with your messages? Does this happen with all contacts or just some? Please provide additional information to ensure we get to the bottom of this for you.

I'm not able to pair my iPad via Bluetooth with my Logitech mini-Boombox. I recently brought my iPad to the Apple Store for an unrelated problem, and they replaced it with a new device. The old device had no problem pairing with any of my Bluetooth devices. I'm only haveing the problem with my new device. I was able to pair it with my Apple wireless keyboard, but not the mini-Boombox. I think I've done everything that I've read in other forum posts: I've toggled the Bluetooth setting on and off; I've reset the iPad a couple times; I've turned off and on the mini-Boombox; I've recharged the mini-Boombox. What am I missing here, and how can I fix this?

Satellite C850 - boot from DVD issue - want to replace Win8 with Win7U

Got a new C850-1JZ yesterday and am trying to replace pre-installed Win 8 with Windows 7. I did create the recovery media (3 DVDs).
The laptop is driving me "insane" as it seems to block any attempt to boot anything else other than Win8 on the preinstalled hdd.
1.) Inserted Win 7 Ultimate DVD and tried to boot, would not boot from disk.
2.) Loaded advanced boot menu and tried to boot from ODD, would not boot from disk it. (Options are LAN, USB, HDD, and ODD (assuming this is optical disk drive)
3.) Changed regular bios settings boot priority to boot from ODD first, then HDD, would not boot from disk.
4.) Learned there is a "security boot protection" mechanism enabled by default in the bios. Turned it off. Machine starts loading from ODD and says "Windows is loading files" then hangs. This is a MS original Win7 Ultimate disk from the Microsoft store, no scratches. Makes no sense. We actually have 2 of them, so I tried the other, same result.
5.) Thought screw that, let's just put the hard drive from the other computer (T61) in here then and do clean new setup another time. Replaced hdd with other sata hdd that has Win 7 ultimate installed and system configured. When booting from hdd, it says "No OS" found and reboots. When booting from ODD, it starts with windows is loading files again and then freezes.
What kind of other extra protection/virus blocker/stupid setting am I missing here? This is puzzling me. Thanks.

After 10 days Toshiba Support in Germany came back with the same answer.
Basically it seems the UEFI Firmware has some reference to Win 8 or the original OS and key and boat loader that is checks, and you cannot load anything else until you disable it by:
1) In the BIOS, disable "secure boot" mode
2) In the BIOS advanced settings, switch from UEFI to CMS mode.
Then you should be able to install anything as the new OS.
Also, if you want to write down your product key / serial number , since it is not printed anywhere (e.g. no sticker on the bottom of the laptop) [Belarc Advisor - Free Personal PC Audit|http://belarc.com/free_download.html] is a good tool to retrieve this from the registry and write it down.
As far as I know it's "glued" to this particular hardware, so not portable, but it might be a good idea to write it down in case you lose the system recovery disk but would want to re-install it with the original serial number.

Auto replace missing fonts durring script place

I have a script that runs on startup that places a word document in a new indesign document. The problem is that if there are fonts in the word document that indesign can't find, then we get a message saying there are missing fonts and a series of javascript errors because there's a dialog open.
Is there an option to have it automatically replace missing fonts with a specified font?

Form my understanding you can't replace missing fonts until the document is open. To avoid the missing fonts modal dialog, you can set
app.scriptPreferences.userInteractionLevel = UserInteractionLevels.NEVER_INTERACT;
before opening the document and then make your font substitutions. Don't forget to reset the userInteractionLevel when your script is done!

Automatically replace jpgs with tiffs of the same file name.

Is there a way to relink automatically files replacing jpgs with tiffs of the exact same file name?

Say if I do decide to change the .tif to .psd and I move the .tifs out to another folder, would it or would it not be a good idea if Indesign said, “Hey, those .tifs aren’t available, there’s a similar name with a .psd extension, would you like to use these instead?” Then you just press, yes use my .psd files.
Many folks had asked for this ability, and so Adobe delivered: InDesign CS4 has a feature called Relink to Folder. It’s an awesome command (it lives in the LInks panel menu) because it basically directs InDesign to some other folder on your computer (or server, or whatever), where your images may live. So you can relink a hundred images from one folder to another quickly.
But even cooler, you can tell InDesign whether to insist on the same file type or use a different one. Here’s the control in the Relink to Folder dialog box:
So, you select one or more images in the Links panel, choose Relink to Folder, tell it which folder to look in, and choose a file extension. The original image doesn’t even have to be “Missing”! In fact, the two images (psd and tiff, in your case) can even live in the same folder.

Removing a 2003 DC and replacing it with 2008R2 DC

hi all.
i have been doing a lot of reading and think i know the correct process, i just wanted to double check with the community.
we have 2 DC's in our environment DC1 and DC2
DC1 is 2008r2 and hosts ADDS/DNS/DHCP/GC and all FSMO roles
DC2 is 2003 and hosts ADDS/DNS/GC and is there for redundancy
DC2 is a bit on the old side and i would like to remove it and replace it with a newer 2008r2 DC, from what i have read it seems the best process for this would be to run DCPROMO from DC2 and demote it and remove then promote a new server
DC3 is the server in waiting so running DCPROMO to promote it to a DC and allow replication to do its stuff and job done.
are there any steps that i am missing?

Hello,
I wouldn't care with the naming/numbering. So run dcpromo for DC3, make it DNS/GC and if this machine has complete replicated an you have checked everything with the support tools start with demoting DC2.
That way you still have redundancy and can check BEFORE removing the old DC.
Assure that the new machine has also the SYSVOL/NETLOGON share after promotion. I recommend that you use ONLY DC1 as DNS server on the NIC from DC3 and NONE else. Later on you can change the DNS server settings.
The support tools can be used to create output files:

repadmin /showrepl dc* /verbose /all /intersite >c:\repl.log ["dc* is a place holder for the starting name of the DCs if they all begin the same (if more then one DC exists)]

Search/Replace for/with php variable name

Hi all.
I have just updated from Dreamweaver 5 to 5.5 and now I am missing a very handy functionality.
What I want to do is to replace all occurences of $a with $b.
In Dreamweaver 5 that was very easy by using "Find and replace":
Find in: All open documents
Search: Sourcecode
Find: $a
Replace: $b
Active options: Match case and Match whole word !!!!
Now in Dreamweaver 5.5 the option "Match whole word" is automatically disabled as soon as I enter a $ (dollar) in the search field.
I assume this has something to do with regular expressions but I do NOT check the option "Regular expression" in the search and replace dialog.
Is this a bug?
What are my options now.
If I don't have the possibility to to tick "Match whole word" my search does also replace all occurrences of $abc and $answer etc. with $b.

I was the person who informed Murray that Dreamweaver CS5 and CS5.5 both behave the same way. I have just checked as far back as CS3, and it also disables "Match whole word" when you enter a dollar sign in the Find field of the Find and Replace dialog box. In fact, that option is disabled whenever you enter any nonalphanumeric character (except an underscore) in that field. It's not limited to dollar signs.
Why it's not disabled in your version of CS5 is a mystery.
However, to solve your problem, you don't need either a regex or "Match whole word". Simply type the name of your PHP variable followed by a space into the Find field. Also add a space after the name of the variable you're using as the replacement.
What "Match whole word" does under the hood is to use a regular expression to find a word break. As long as you leave a space between your variables and any following code, simply adding the space to your search will do the trick.
However, if you have cases where a variable is followed by a comma, closing parenthesis, or some other character, you will need to use the following regex:
Find: \$variable_name\b
Replace: $new_name
The \$ looks for a dollar sign. The variable_name matches the literal text of the variable name (replace it with the actual text you're looking for). The \b matches a word break in exactly the same way as "Match whole word".
In the Replace field, $new_name is the literal name of the new variable.

Replace missing font

Director loads a project and tells me my system is missing
Arial MT Black. It tells me that it is replacing it with a default
