Replacement option for pdfmaker in outlook 2013

It has been established that the pdfmaker doesn't work in Outlook 2013, unless I missed something. I would like to know what are my other options ... I used the pdfmaker a lot and I want to download/buy something that does exactly the same within Outlook 2013.

You can pay the upgrade price and purchase Acrobat 11.0 Pro.
You can navigate to 'Help' menu and select 'Check for Updates' and the software would automatically check for available updates which you can then download and install.
You can also manually download Acrobat updates from: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows
I would suggest downloading the trial version first and use it for 30 days to see if it suits you requirement and then purchase if required. Search for mail in Outlook 2013 does not have all emails in result.

Hi, we have a user that tries to search for a sertain mail in her mailbox, and when she searches, a few mail comes up, but the one she knows is there, and that fits the search pattern, is not listed in the results.
We have tried to reindex the database the user was on, we have moved her to another database, and none of these have given us the result we want.
We have also removed the checkmark in "Search" in Outlook for "Improve search speed by limiting the number of results shown".
If she does the same search in OWA or Outlook 2010, the result is as expected, but in Outlook 2013, it is not.
Has anyone experienced this, and if so, what could be done to solve it?
Google(Bing) produces very little results that are relevant to this for me.
Hope someone here has an answer :)

No calendar connection for Exchange 2010 + Outlook 2013

My environment is this:
Running Outlook 2013 (as part of Office 2013 Suite) connecting to Exchange Server 2010
Both cached and non-cached modes
Connecting using RPC
With both existing profile for last 1yr+ and with a new profile
Outlook v 15.0.4649.1001
The issue I'm having is a room/resource calendar that I was once able to see I can't anymore.
Running Outlook 2010 as the same user from a different computer works fine.
OWA works as well.
Other calendars work
Running Outlook 2013 vs 15.0.4420.1017 also works on a different computer!!!
So this seems to be an issue with my particular version of Outlook, and I did read where a security update seems to have gotten in the way (regression test lately?) but a December patch of 2013 was supposed to fix that. I didn't specifically install the
patch, rather I downloaded from my vendor the latest available version they had.
So is there a patch that will work for me. The only one I've come across tells me it isn't for my machine.

According to your description and test, I understand that the room/resource calendar is invisible in Outlook.
How about changing another user to log on your Outlook?
How about the same version of Outlook on another computer?
Please try to run Outlook under safe mode to avoid some AVs and add-ins.
Please try to re-create profile for testing.
If all method above doesn’t work, please re-install Outlook.

With this new updates of itunes there is no option for syncronisation with outllook.

Hi Shabeer,
the first thing is that you are running on a very very low RAM.
For ECC 6.0 with dual stack SAP System to run you should have atleast 4 GB of RAM.
For your Dispatcher issue kindly check the status of your Oracle database and the connection from SAP To Database.
You can check the oracle status using brtools utility.

Replacement options for keys on mid-2009 MBP

i have a mid-2009 MBP that i am extremely unhappy with and which i /was/ going to just give to my mom but it acts so oddly that i am afraid she will get too confused and won't be able to use it.
/anyway/ i had this thing in to the genius bar and asked them to replace all the keys as there are a lot of these that are very wobbly and make typing sort of a challenge. the technician asked me to tell him which /specific/ keys were a problem - i didn't sit down to test this - and then proceeded to give me some kind of song and dance explaining the technical reasons why the keys would fail and he assured me that as long as there was not some failure with the mechanism under the keys that they would replace the keys for the life of the machine at no charge.
two questions:
1. i have written down the 23 keys that feel like they are hard to work with and i am wondering if it is unreasonable to expect them to just replace all of them now so i (or the person i give the machien to) won't have to deal with this periodically.
2. is it in fact the case that i should expect to get other keys fixed for free when they go bad?
3. is there some reason why the technician at the genius bar may not have wanted me to do another repair on this machine within the warranty period since i have had it in complaining about various issues very often and they finally found a battery and a logic board problem about three months before my warranty expiration? i mean, i have not trusted the advice i get which is a complete 180 degrees from when i was first on mac before i had to move to PC and i am wondering if there may be a reason why they did not want to simply go ahead and do the key replacement for me under warranty. it seems really sort of mean and cheap to turn me away on this at the 11th hour with some kind of verbal assurance when i've never been happy with the machine or the explanations on the problems with the machine anyway.
is there some kind of magic words to get them to just replace all the keys so i won't have this as an ADDED problem to my battery life, beachball hangs, sleep battery drain, etc, etc, etc?

What Bob is saying is that according to the table there are different versions of Bootcamp which can be run on each Mac which load the various drivers for the specific versions on Windows.
Windows 8 is designed to run 64bit but it will run 32bit as well it just means you dont get all the benefits and can loose Disc & Ram, but the host mac needs a 64bit compatible processor and it needs to meet the spec for the version of Windows being run and you need the various drivers.
Often this level of support and development wont be provided on older machines as they knnow it will run into problems at some point.
That doesnt mean you cant or shouldnt go for it, as long as you accept it may not be a stright forward install

What are the support or replacement options for my out of warranty phone?

My beloved 3G, that I use now as a jump drive and an iPod, just died. Dead dead. No response from any buttons, no reset ability, no restoring... Nothing, other than if i charge it it gets really hot. Really really hot.
I have purchased two MacBooks, four iPhones and one iPad over the past three years for myself and my family, and I am wondering what support apple will offer me for my new doorstop. I know it won't be free and I understand that..... But????? Anything? Anyone know? Can I upgrade? Replace? Repair?

There is nothing special provided in this regard regardless how many Apple products you have purchased over the last 3 years.
Apple offers an out of warranty or not covered under the warrant "repair" price, which pays for an exchange for the same model at a significantly reduced price off what was the full retail sales price. The cost is $199 plus applicable sales tax and the exchange will include a 90 day warranty. This does not require signing a new two year contract with AT&T. This will be for another 3G - the same color and storage capacity. Not sure if Apple offers this for an iPhone that is no longer activated with AT&T, but as already provided, there will be no charge at an Apple store to have a diagnostic check run on your iPhone to determine where the problem lies. If only the battery, Apple has a price to replace the battery only, or you can use a 3rd party for this, or try to do it yourself if you are so inclined.

LCD replacement options for T61 - 7661-12G

Yes, any of them should work. Actually there are only four panels (AUO, CMO, Samsung, LG Philips) but they have different FRU numbers (I dont know why). You may also use the WXGA+ Models as well.

MS Outlook 2013 Error message "The microsoft exchange administrator had made a change that requires you to quit and restart outlook"

I am currently running 2 HP Servers, SAN Storage. I have Exchange 2013 installed and MS Outlook 2013 randomly appears with the message
"The Microsoft exchange administrator has made a change that requires you to quit and restart outlook" It is happening very frequently and is appearing every few seconds on a lot of users.

If you migrated from Exchange 2010 to Exchange 2013, I found a KB for your reference:

If not, I suggest using OWA to verify whether this issue remains.
1. If everything works well in OWA, it seems an issue on the Outlook client side.
I suggest run Outlook under safe mode to avoid some AVs and add-ins.
I suggest re-create profile to refresh the caches.
I suggest re-install the Outlook if all methods above not working.
2. If this issue remains in OWA, please verify whether all users on the Exchange 2013 have this isse.
If only one user has this issue, I suggest create a test user to check whether the test user has this issue.
If the test user works well, I suggest try to re-create the specific user account.
Please make a full back up before re-creating.

Outlook 2013 client, not in domain, can't connect to the Exchange 2013 server.

Hello everyone,
A colleague and me are in the process of rebuilding our Hosted Exchange servers. Everything is working perfectly except for the local Outlook 2013 clients. They are not in the domain but in the same network (through VLANs) as our Exchange server, and still
they can't connect to Exchange without the use of Outlook anywhere. If we use Outlook Anywhere, it connects perfectly. If I ping the Exchange servers (1 CAS, 2 MBX servers) I get response with the right IP addresses.
We've tried to create a new profile, this goes without problems. We enter the FQDN (or IP address) of CAS server and the required usersname, and the FQDN gets resolved to the correct MBX server where the mailbox resides on. We complete the whole wizard and
then start Outlook. We then get the error that Outlook can't logon to the Exchange server.
Is this an authentication setting that is wrong or do we need to use Outlook Anywhere if the PC is not in the same domain as the Exchange server?

Agree with Martina, all Outlook clients use RPC over HTTP to connect to Exchange 2013. if the server version is Exchange 2013 SP1, only Outlook 2013 SP1 use MAPI over HTTP to connect to server after we enable the protocol MAPI over HTTP.

How to import OLM file into Outlook 2013?

Last week, I switched to Windows 8 PC. It works fine but annoying with email application. Previous email backup file of Outlook 2011 (OLM) file was not supported by Outlook 2013 email application.

You face failure result due to bad practice of email migration. Before importing any email file in to new email client, please make sure few things as follows:
Similar email file format
Awareness with import process
Safe environment for data safety
Outlook 2013 uses PST file which is different from OLM files. In this context, you are advised to convert OLM files into PST file (Outlook 2013 supported file). As any manual method of such conversion is not available, you can try automated software which is developed by third party vendors.

Did you get any error message when the rule failed?
Please first try to recreate the rule to check the result, also make sure there is no other rule that conflicts with the auto-forward rule.

HELP! B.C. to Outlook 2013?

We bought our domain from NS. BC is hosting our site and email. We are trying to connect the new email addresses to Outlook 2013 with no success. We have read through every tutorial from BC and more than thought necessary online. We've followed all the steps (multiple times). At this point, Im asking for help. Can anyone advise, or offer, preferably a step by step for BC to Outlook 2013? I think it may have to do with entering SMTP, or as simple as is not being IMAP or POP3. I dont know, but have tried many different variations.Our site is live, and many people have these new email addresses, and we know that come any moment, this will hit the fan, and I have to know how to explain the connection to Outlook. Hoping for some help...as soon as possible

I had to ask because people have tried setting up outlook without making the emails first before.
Would you mind if you could screenshot the outlook settings as you have them now, you can blank out your emails if you want. Will need to see the settings you have put in that are not working first.
Support would look for this information as well if they jump in to help.
