Hi,
I have a problem regarding the link between the items of an SD invoice ( or
credit note ) and those of the corresponding accounting document. There's a
custom report which extracts information about each credit/debit note
produced within a certain period. This program has recently failed due to a
particular case: a credit note was generated starting by two note requests;
in other terms, cardinality: 1:N exists between the credit note and the
request document. Currently, the program generates duplicated records in
this case, because of the following schema:
-> main loop on VBAK data ( request document header data )
-> inner loop on BSEG data ( accounting document items );
our current access criteria in reading tb_bseg is only:
... where tb_bseg-belnr = tb_vbrk-vbeln.
Providing that tb_vbrk-vbeln doesn't differ and that both tb_vbak and tb_bseg
contain two records ( the two requests the first and the two accounting
document items the second ), the program fails as follows:
° first request -> two lines
° second request -> two lines.
Is there any way to link each invoice item with the corresponding credit
note item?

How to derive amount posted in GL account at invoice item level.
I want to designe an Audit report where in the report should display item level revenue / Tax / Insurance posted in each GL Account.
In other words, when the Accounting document against an invoice, it gives the entire value of invoice posted in respective GL accounts. I need to have a break up at item level.
From SD point of view, the Account determination procedure logic could be incorporated but it may creata performance issue in system as the report may be run for a years period.
Is there any other logic / table reference?
The matter is urgent.........Try S_ALR_87012291 - Line Item Journal .

Adding a characteristics to AR Drill down report for line items
I have raised an OSS note on this, but they deem this to be consulting.
I have an AR drill down report for line items
It calls the structure RFRRD20.
I need to add a value into the characteristics so I can use it in the drill down report.
I have appended the structure, added a value in TKAF for the field, and it still does not show.
Has anybody done something similar?
I am sure this is easy, but only when you know how, so if you know how to do it please can you let me know.

I am also in the same situation where i need to add two characteristics (invoice date, due date) to the AR drill down reports. I added them to the structure and TKAF table as you did, but still could not get them to the drill down reports (FDI5 or FI1).
From your posts, i see that SAP's response was that it is not possible to add characteristics to AR drilldown reports? Did they mention any reasons or OSS notes? How did you handle your requirement, were you able to work around?
Your suggestions would be highly appreciated.

The matter is urgent.........Try S_ALR_87012291 - Line Item Journal . It is SAP standard and gives the details of GL postings. Enter your invoice and have a look.
The tables are BKPF ( Header ) and BSEG ( line item ).

Need tables for tracking Invoice Items back to the Batch Numbers/Item codes
Trying to build report to show the Inventory movement from a Sales Invoice Item back to the source items and the Batch Numbers for assigned along the way. Having problems finding all the tables to connect the Batch information to the Invoice information.
In B1 under batch management I can see fields that belong to tables RBTN, RITL and OBTN but I can only find OBTN in Crystal.
Are these tables hidden for some reason or are they Temporary tables that B1 creates when opening the form/report.You may check this: Re: To what table are Batch# saved to with SAP 8.8

Supress Vendor name in std report S_ALR_87012103 - Vendors: Items
Hi ,
I am using report 'S_ALR_87012103 - Vendors: Items -> List of Vendor Line Items' to list the vendor open items and in the output the vendor name with address is displayed, I want to supress name and address so that when I download to excel it will easier for me to change the columns.
ThanTry using FBL1N instead of this report, which does not show address.

I'm trying to come up with query report to show Inactive Item bought within a specific period and not sold within a specific period by whse and have stock
The report should show Item Number, Item Name ,Item cost,Retail Price [Based on a price list], Qty in Whse, Last Purchase Date, Last sale Date etc.
e.g item bought between 2011-2013 and have not been sold with the same date range or the last 12 months.

Form with report, where some items in the form have been given values.

I have a question that maybe silly but annoying to me. I need to provide a form with report, where some items in the form have been given values automatically, and these items (display only) are supposed to show given values in the form automatically.
I used the APEX form with report. The update and delete worked well. But I cannot show automatic values when insert. By default APEX insert form makes every item null; I tried to give value for two items: P5212_USERKEY, P5212_DAILY_VER_DATE with process before header, after header, after regions and before footer, and computation, or set values of these two items in the branch when user hit create button (submit). It never worked out, the two items always displayed null value, and when I insert, I got "ORA-01400: cannot insert NULL into ("TBSBI"."DAILYVERPRODNOTE"."USERKEY")", since I have set up constraint in database that these two columns should not be null.
Could anyone help on this? any suggestion would be appreciated.
SamIf you have made these values 'Display Only' they would by default not save the session state. Accessing the page items will always return NULL. Did you change the 'Save Session State' option to 'Yes'?

Weekly report on invoiced shipments
Hello,
we have customers and was able to submit a weekly report on invoiced shipments for them in one of the middleware. can I get the same information in SAP?
report generated from middleware includes the below data
bill_to_id bill_to_name bill_to_city bill_to_state ship_to_id ship_to_name ship_to_city ship_to_state ship_date catalog description uom ord_item_type price qty po_no ord_no inv_no invc_date tax freight other gl beg_date end_date ctrct_no ord_item_type
Can anyone suggest me how to work on this to get wekly report in sap with the above criteria

PR and PO should be display in IWBK report for stock item.
Hi Exterts,
Our client requirement is to display PR and PO number in IWBK report for stock item as well.
I know PR and PO can be display in IWBK report for non-stock item but how we can display PR and PO for stock item,as PR is generated through MRP for stock item.
Please share your ideas on this.

In typical MRP settings you "procure to stock" not "procure to order".
This means that there is no direct link between the PM/CS orders and any PR/POs created via MRP.
Subsequently you will not be able to show this data in IWBK.
However, we are currently designing a customer-specific report similar to IWBK that also counts the number of open POs for a given material on a PM/CS work order. The user can then navigate to ME2M (PO list) or MD04 (stock requirements list) to get further details.

Discoverer Viewer Report with Page Items Slow Performance
I created a report in Discoverer User that has page items and parameters and runs fine (under 3 minutes) in Discoverer User, but when I try and run it in Discoverer Viewer it takes a long time. It took over 70 minutes before manually terminating it. I made a copy of the report and removed the page items and tried to run it again in Discoverer Viewer and now the report runs in under 3 minutes. Any idea why a report with page items would run in Discoverer user fine, but not discoverer viewer?
I am using Oracle Business Intelligence Plus 10g (10.1.2.55.26)As long as you can access the middle-tier server where Discoverer Viewer is running, you should be able to run and view Discoverer worksheets.
While it is difficult to even start guessing what the problem might be, if the machine you installed Discoverer on has DHCP addressing, you will run into problems.

REPORT WITH CHANGING ITEM ON THE SAME COLUMN

i'm trying to build a report with different item in the same column.
Is that possible in any way using other Oracle technique?
i'm not doing anything specific here, only i would like to know if the following possibility exist or not and how can i let apex render the htmldb_item fields 'dynamically'.
Using this CODE inside a PL/SQL function body returning sql query I obtain the following report content. Such the code of htmldb_item.fields is written, as a field value the HTML_ITEM is not rendered, so only the description of them appear in the report.
Does somebody know some tricks to make it work?
