Report to find Bid Invitation against an item code

I have an item code(product master) in SRM. I want to find whether any Bid Invitation exists against this item code? Is there any report or function module to find??
regards
Harshb

Hi,
YS,
I must thank you for taking interest in my question.
I tried to test the FM BBP_PD_BID_GETLIST; I put product-id in the Import parameter  I_ITEM_ORDERED_PROD; But it is not bringing any result, where as Bid inviation exists against the product. Then  I put product id in import parameter I_ITEM_PRODUCT, but still no result. Can you pl. suggest what is wrong?

  • Report to find open items and close items for given vendor

    Hi All,
What are the steps needed to write a REPORT to find out
open and close items for a given vendor.
Which are the fields i'll have to take and what are the comparisons i'll have to make.
    I know,
BSIK is for open Vendor &
    BSAK for closed Vendors..
what are the conditions i'll have to check.
    Thanks in Advance..
    Pradeep Alex

  • Custom field in Create Bid Invitation..

    Hi,
I have to add a custome field in the 'Create Bid Invitation - Find bid invitation - Extended Search screen. has anyone done this same scenario.
    john.

    hi,
I dont think you can add custom field at the item overview level.
There is nothing in standard for CUF in item overview.
CUF are available in Header/item basic data, accounting and search screens, but nothing in item overview.
The only workaround which i can see is to modify the HTML page in the Internet Service .
You can try to use some standard field which stores the information you want to display (instead oc creating a custom field).e.g.If you want to display the Product CAtegory in addition to its description on the item overview screen(Table control),then you will have to find out the std field which stores the Prod category value.
If the standard populates that field  with the info you require you'll not have to populate it yourself: so check it.
Be careful to add this column as the last column in the Table control, as the template refers to column numbers for existing data.
Then change the template  in order to manage the field display in the different cases (selection and display).
DO NOT COPY STANDARD PROGRAM, or you will loose modification tracking during upgrade or SP applications.
Be careful. The same HTML templates of the Internet Service are (shared) used for all the users. So be very sure in making changes to the standard HTML template and publishing those changes. Incase of shortdumps here, you need to go through each line in the Service to see the cause of the error(which might be as silly as missing a comma, bracket, period after a line). SAP dump analysis is not much help here.

  • Bid Invitation Search

    Hi All,
My requirement is to restrict the result from Find BId Invitation search in process bid invitation.
The result should be restricted by the user who created the SC.
Could some one please help me in the approach I should follow.
Is there any badi to achieve this.
Also what is the purpose for My Bid Invitation check box in this search ?

  • Bidder Not able to filter Bid Invitations with custom fields

    Dear Community,
    Need some ABAP help.
Know many experts are in our community.
We have added 3 custom fields to the Bid Invitation and Bid header
Coded Badi BBP_CUF_BADI_2 for them to appear in the Search criteria for Find Bid Invitation for both the logins(purchaser and bidder).
The custom fields now appear in the Extended search for both.
These custom fields extract values from custom tables.
But we found that the search criteria seems to be filtering Bid Invitations only in the Process Bid Invitation screen(Find Bid Invitation) of the purchaser login.
    Template:       bbp_bid_inv/99/saplbbp_bid_inv_1010.html
And NOT filtering Bid Invitations in the Process Bid screen(Find Bid Invitations and Auctions) of the Bidder login.
    bbp_quot/99/saplbbp_quot_ui_its_1010.html
The ABAPer has already incuded the custom fields in structures INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_BID and INCL_EEW_PD_HEADER_CSF_QUOT,
What is required in addition so that the search criteria will work in the Bidder login as well??
    Thanks in Advance,
    Dinesh
    (Will appreciate with points)

    Thanks, Disha.
    We have alreday activated BBP_WF_LIST
and tried some code in method
    BBP_WF_LIST_SOCO
    but did not help us.
Can you suggest any specific code to try?
You are right for template modification for values of this custom fields.
If we do that Bidder CAN filter the BI correctly with these values of custom fields.
But customer does not want that way because in future the values would be changing.
and so it would be an additional task to correct templates.
Also they have to redo these changes with every upgrade.
So we are fetching the values from custom tables for these custom fields.
Would like to again draw the attention towards purchaser's search with these custom fields.
Why purchaser can search correctly with these custom fields fetching values from custom tables?
Can we debug or take any hint from there?
    Any futher thoughts?

  • Dynamic Item Code Parameter list

    Dear Experts,
I have a problem  here. I have a range of item codes as parameters in a report. I realized  that not all item codes are here . The item codes in the master are very many but the parameters displayed in the report are  just a part of the item codes.   How can I get the entire item code list to be displayed in the parameter range ?

    Hi,
Which CR version are you using?  When prompting parameter, parameter will display in batch. You can browse all item codes by changing batch number.

  • Add line items programatically (Bid invitation)

    Hi all,
I've created a bid invitation and would like to add items programatically. Is there a standard method I can use? I started to analyse SAP standard program and try to find

Thanks for your quick answer Vadim,
How do you generate the new item guid. Do you know the function module that does that? In debug, I noticed that a simple numeric value is put in the field and it's later translated but I didn't find the function that does the translation.

  • NO quote for some line items in a Bid Invitation

    Hello Experts,
We have implemented SRM 5.0/Bidding Engine.
For example, When we create bid invitation with 10 line items, and invited about 5 bidders to participate.
Please note each one of line item is having about 15 attributes which are all required. It is not an optional attribute.
If one of the bidder is not interested in bidding for about 3 line items and standard functionality is - the bidder will make submittied quantity field to zero, so it will be ignored for any further checks.
But this is functionality is not working in our production system.
Please help me to resolve this.
    Vijay

    Hi Vijay
I do not think it works the way you suggested.
If you make dynamic attr required, they will be required and making 'submitted quantity' as '0' will not change that.
Pl create a OSS message, if you feel strongly about it but I doubt you get a solution as it's not a bug.
Instead of using 'Required' field in Dynamic attributes, you may try to use BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI to control the required checks.
    Best regards
    Ramki

    Hi,
You can achieve this by uploading the items using a excel sheet. You need to make use of the option Upload/Download Bid invitation.
Also go through the following OSS which would be helpful in process:

  • Grouping functionality for Bid Invitations.

Is there any way to group external requirements to Bid invitations.

    Hi,
When you press the Submit to Grouping button in the Carry Out Sourcing option ,report BBP_SC_TRANSFER_GROUPED must be executed.
Read the Documentation given in the report BBP_SC_TRANSFER_GROUPED .
    Short text
Automatic Grouping of Requirements for POs and Bid Invitations
    Purpose
This report groups together requirement items to which a valid source of supply has been assigned (for grouping into purchase orders) and whose product category has been enabled for grouping (sourcing option in Customizing).
In cases where assignment is automatic, the system sets the requirement as Transferred to Grouping.
In cases where a source of supply is assigned manually, the purchaser has to choose the function Transfer to Grouping in the sourcing application for the requirements.
You should schedule this report periodically, and make sure that the report is run separately for each document type (purchase order, bid invitation).
    Prerequisites
You have assigned each relevant product category to a sourcing option for grouping, for example, Automatic Grouping, Sourcing for Item Without Assigned Source of Supply.
For more information, see the Implementation Guide (IMG) for Supplier Relationship Management: SRM Server -> Sourcing -> Define Sourcing for Product Categories.
    Features
Report BBP_SC_TRANSFER_GROUPED provides the following functions:
For automatically grouping requirements into purchase orders:
It selects all requirements that have a unique valid source of supply, and have been set up for grouping. You can use selection criteria to further restrict the requirements that are selected.
It groups requirements by vendor. In other words, it groups together all of the requirements that can be sent to the same vendor.
You can use a Business Add-In (BAdI) to make additional groupings. If the standard system groups together certain requirements, but you want to create them in separate local purchase orders, use the BAdI BBP_GROUP_LOC_PO for this purpose.
Note that there are some limitations to creating purchase orders this way. For example, it is not possible to group together requirements with different vendors in the same purchase order. This report uses the same differentiation criteria as the sourcing application (for example, business partner, company code, product type).
It uses function module BBP_PD_PO_CHECK to check the assignment to a source of supply. The report passes on requirements to function module BBP_PD_SC_TRANS_MULTI_LOC_PO, where they are grouped, and converted into a purchase order.
In a production run (that is, not a test run), the system issues error messages to the Application Monitor. Example: A contract item assigned during sourcing is no longer valid when grouping is about to occur. This error appears in the Application Monitor. The system moves the requirement item to the worklist of the sourcing application.
The Application Monitor assigns errors to one of the following categories:
    Shopping Cart: Automatic Grouping
    Purchase Order: Automatic Grouping
If necessary, you can copy this report, and change the selection criteria to suit your needs. You can start the report in test mode.
Note: In the sourcing application, you can determine which requirements are planned for the next report run by choosing Find -> For Grouping.
For automatically grouping requirements into bid invitations:
It selects all requirements that have been set up for grouping. A source of supply is not required. You can use selection criteria to further restrict the requirements that are selected.
You can use the BAdI BBP_TRANSFER_GROUP to take bid invitations that have been grouped by the system, and then split them up on the basis of your own customer-specific criteria. You can use the BAdI BBP_SAVE_BID_ON_HOLD to determine whether or not a bid invitation should be published automatically.
The report passes on requirements to function module BBP_PD_SC_TRANSFER_MULTI_RFQ, where they are grouped, and converted into a bid invitation.
In a production run (that is, not a test run), the system issues error messages to the Application Monitor.
If necessary, you can copy this report, and change the selection criteria to suit your needs. You can start the report in test mode.
Note: In the sourcing application, you can determine which requirements are planned for the next report run by choosing Find -> For Grouping.

  • SRM 4.0 - Upload function of Bid Invitations (Bidding Engine)

    Hello,
I am currently working on the Bidding Engine in SRM 4.0
I would very much like to use the Download/Upload function in Bid Invitations, but for now I have the feeling it doesn’t work.
I tested it by downloading a Bid Invitation and changing just one info like an item quantity or description. I put “U” (for “Update”) in the corresponding cell of the “Change” column. I also held the bid invitation in SRM before returning to it to upload the modified Excel-file.
When I upload the Excel file, I don’t have any error messages, but no changes are done either.
Does anyone of you have an idea how I could make it work?
    Thanks!
    Andrea

    Hi,
    Please do the following things.
Excel updown/download is very flexible functionality.
    (BADI : BBP_PD_DOWNLOAD)
    1. You can change the format (how the document should be downloaded, which fields : Control variants in BBPC_UP_DOWNLOAD table)
    2. You can also upload file (your own format : implement parsing method)
    3. You can add your own fields. (APPEND_UPLOAD_DATA)
We are working on one such scenario for Contract Upload.
You can also check the following notes.
There is a SAP Note on downloading BID file.
Note 734060 - SRM: Upload and download of documents using MS Excel
They have given one example in this note. This is a consulting note, you will find it
Two more notes which can help you

    I hope it will help.

  • Automatic grouping and creation of a bid invitation

    Hello everyone,
we tried the automatic creation of a bid invitation in the case of items without assigned source of supply with report BBP_SC_TRANSFER_GROUPED.
We get the correct errors in the report log of missing start date and end date of the bid and missing the bidder, because I never entered the information. The system doesn't give me a chance to enter the information. It is automatic.
So what is this automatic creation of a bid invitation with report BBP_SC_TRANSFER_GROUPED for?
    Where is my mistake?
    Thank you in advance.

  • Problem with bid invitation attachment

When I put an attachment at headerlevel on the bid invitation, I also found it on item level. This also happens whith vendor text and internal note.
So there's no difference between attachment on header and item level. The same for the texts.
Do you why this is happening ?
    Thanks in advanced !
    Caroline

Can you please also advise what format the attachment is in, eg: pdf, mp3, jpg etc?

  • Product category comes blank IN BID INVITATION process of SRM

    Hi Gurus,
We are using the SRM Ssystem to process BID invitation. In this it uses the R3MMEXTRACT to get the product catalog information. The Information is fetched from R/3 using the RFC BBP_CATEGORY_GET_GUID.
The data which is fetched from R/3 is then transferred to SRM.but when the data is transfrred for some particular material groups the Product category comes blank. This happens in the case where the material group exists in two or more systems and the the function module is not able to identify from which system it is has to fetch the data.
Can anybody please help me with this.
this code is implemnted in the class ZCL_IM_CATALOG_CONTENT which is the class implemnted for BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER.

        MOVE wa_catalog_content-cust_field3  TO ls_logical_system.

cAN ANYBODY HELP ME IN THIS,...

    Hi there,
If you have 2 backends, is there any way you can find out which backend this is supposed to be coming from?
    FUNCTION com_category_get_guid
        FUNCTION com_category_get_guid_ol
      ELSE.
-------logsys is unknown -> read all categories with this ID------
You could have a look through the code and possibly debug it and see
                    FUNCTION com_category_get_guid_db.
                            FORM get_guid_by_id_multisys
    table COMM_CATEGORY
    Hope this helps.
