Reporting width scale and change group

I have a chart data source for 25 columns and assign to my line chart data source.
The chart shows data but only use 50 percent of the chart width.
I would like to have my chart extend the full width of the report which is landscape orientation.
Are there any property to set stretch the whole width?
My report has group like element 1, element 2. Chart has evaluation group property to set.
I set it to my group name which is MyElement, but it seems that the chart prints the same chart for the all group.
Are there any property to set the the chart print different chart base on the group.
I have my chart in Group Footer. Should I have it in detail band?

What would be the best way to do that? As an example I would have 8 textframes threaded together (each frame is a stamp, this script is for reducing the image to print the label that goes on the top of the stamp). Some frames could only be text, some only a graphic, some both, some blank. Below is an example of what have so far. This works if the frame is only text.

    RAS SDKs may help you to achive your task.
    I would suggest you to see setGroupSectionsOption and setReportSectionsOption of CharacterSeparatedValuesExportFormatOptions class given in RAS APIs.

    Changes to SAP Standard are always a bit tricky, specially if we are talking about legal reports. If the standard report uses smartform, you can change the standard form without needing a SSCR key, so no need to create a Z report or smartform even, but like every change on SAP Standard, if further changes are made by SAP through Support packages you will always have to replicate them yourself everytime this happens. I would suggest creating a new Z report by copy of standard and new Z smartform, that way you can always recurr to the standard and see what was changed and then replicate them in you Z reports.
    To create smartform, go to TCode smarforms and you can create one by copy of an existing smartform.
    Adobe Interactive forms is more complex then smartforms and unless the standard uses a print form, i would not suggest you creating one as it will envolve a bit more knowledge.

    Yes, a clean list of Users with their Groups...
    Nothing standard. Strange...
    You might see if this export has something you can use. I do not recall it from the vast amount of detail exported here. The file will be generated on the server, so you might need somebody to pick it up and give it to you.

  • Customer master report for new and changed customer

    Hi All,
        I want to write a report for customer master, If a new customer is created or if customer is changed the report should get the customer and download it to a flat file.
    There is no proper spec they want customer based on acount group,Here how i can find the customer is  newly created or changed. Change pointer is active.
    in table CDHDR if customer is created the date and object id is there but changed the changed date is not in table kna1.
    Please help me regarding the logic.

      This table stores all the changes made in database level.

  • How to reduce report width programatically?

    Hi All,
    Iam placing around 38 filelds in report and increased the report section width in Main Section to 40. Iam using formating triggers to these 38 fields.Based on the parameters passed these fields will be displayed. some times there will be only 10 fileds in the report and remaining it shows blank space.I dont want that blank space.

    I don't think it will be easy to adjust report width programmatically and move controls accordingly. It will be advisable to go for matrix report with format trigger to hide blank columns.

    You can actually manage this in Automator.
    Here are the steps that worked for me:
    Create an Automator APPLICATION - not a workflow (this is due to the way that I'm batch converting images - workflows might be ok for some cases)
    Step 1 is Copy Finder Items
    My flow inserts an SD card, opens the DCIM folder that my Nikon creates, selecting the images that I click (command + click to multi-select) and once I have the photos highlighted, I drag them onto this Automator App we're creating.

    As a result - I want to copy the originals to my computer as step 1.  I don't touch the originals on the SD card (and cards are cheap so I tend to leave them on the cards as well)
    Step 2 is the Scale Images action - you can search the library for this and find it quickly.  For my part, I found that scaling images to about 38.8 percent of their size on the SD card is good for uploading to a blog.  Change this value to whatever you wish.
    Step 3 is Run Shell Script - and here is where we marry the brilliance found at this link with our script.If you have a hard time reading the text in the image, it is as follows:

    Save this application (I named mine "Format Photos")
    Place the application inside the target folder where you want the images to end up.  I do this because when I have the SD card window open, I can also open my "Photos" window and see my App sitting there.  I select my images as I mentioned and drag them on top of this app.  The app copies the originals and the conversions into the folder.
    NOTES: When you open a converted pic in Preview, you will see Resolution = 300 dpi if you go to Tools --> Adjust Size...  This reading is explained by another brilliant discussion as sips only touches the JFIF properties inside the file's MetaData.  However, if you look at the bottom of the Adjust Size... window, you'll see the image size is probably around 500 kb (give or take depending on the original).  My goal was to get the images down from the 3.0 MB I shoot at to around 500 kb.  Therefore even though the MetaData still thinks that it is 300 DPI according to Preview, it has been changed to 72 (open it in some other applications mentioned at the links and you'll find different readings - it all depends on what the application reads from the Meta).
    This does not rename the files, so you'll get DSC_1000.jpg and DSC_1000 copy.jpg in all likelihood.  If that annoys you, add a step into the Automator Application that renames the file after the "Run Shell Script" action has run, and you can have each file renamed according to some convention that you like.
    This took a heck of a lot longer than I expected - so I decided to put in the effort to share this with the community and save others the hassle. 

    PPI is pixels per inch of the image.  It is difficult to increase resolution as you are trying to add data that is not there.
    But for printing purposes what you want is dpi or dots per inch.
    The image processor either accessed from Bridge (tools/photoshp) or PS is a good way to change a batch of images.

  • How do you Change Group Sort Direction using Report Client

    It looks like there should be a sort direction property on the ISCRGroupOptions object but there is none. So how do you set the sort direction of the group?

    I tried that and it did not work. Here's the code to change the grouping, note I also change the associated sort object. I did notice that if you go into the crystal reports designer and bring up the Record Sort Export and select the group's corresponding sort that the Sort Direction radio buttons are disabled. The question is how to change the sort direction shown on the Change Group Options dialog?

    look for information on drilldowngrouplevel function. this is available in versions 9 and higher.
    i cant test it in mine to give you the syntax, but you would need to create another section and conditionally surpress the section on the drilldowngrouplevel function. hope this helps

    Hello all, I am using Crystal Reports v10 and I created my report. The report works fine and the export function works fine in some particular servers. We were developing under Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 using Visual Studio 2005 Service Pack 1. We created the deployment and in our testing servers works fine (Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP these machines doesn't have any development tool).
    When we installed the same deployment (MSI) file in the customer Windows Server 2003, the exporting function to PDF or using it the Crystal Reports viewer doesn't work (Same worng thing that is displayed in the viewer is in the PDF). We had detected labels cut in the middle, some fields changed the font size or alignment and some lines move it up, down or growing. Obviously this looks like a environment problem, but we don't have any idea how to fix it, or what is missed.
    We tried to install, Windows Service Pack 2, install Acrobat Reader v8, verified the dll's, try to install the "dbex10win_en.zip" hot fix (we were not able to install it, setup file fail due some registry inconsistencies), Validate that the fonts are the same, and nothing fix the problem.
    Could somebody help us, we are a little desperate.

    1) Ensure you are using the latest Service Pack as suggested by Jonathan
    2) See what USP10.dll is loading (use the [Modules|https://smpdl.sap-ag.de/~sapidp/012002523100006252802008E/modules.zip] utility)
    Also, if this is a win app, compile it to an exe and run the exe to see if the issue persists. (when running the app exe, the USP10 loaded should be from the CR bin directory. when running ion the .NET environment, the USP10 will load from win\system or other)

    I have a requirement to add Customer characteristics u201CSales Groupu201D and u201CSales Officeu201D into a FI report which is based on the InfoCube 0COOM_C02. The values that needs to be presented is actual data (Customer Master Data; NOT transactional value.
    In the DataSource u201C0COORDER_ATTRu201D, fields Sales Organization and Sales Group are present and it is brought to BW from R3. But I am not able to find the way to get the field Sales Office into SAP BW.
    I checked the extraction program for the DataSource u201C0COORDER_ATTRu201D, the fields Sales Org and Sales Group are coming from a table u201CCE41000u201D but in this particular table there is no Sales Office present.
    So can anyone guide me out in getting the Sales Office to the DataSource u201C0COORDER_ATTRu201D, or is there any way of getting it in BW directly by reading some Master Data table.

    Hi Sangeeta,
    As per your statement, my understanding is that the Organization Attributes are not maintained in the Customization. If all the values are properly maintained then based on the Organization Data determination, the system would have picked up the data. You can first check the Organization Structure and see all the attributes are properly maintained or not and then check whether the Object Permitted in determination checkbox is checked. Then create a Transaction and see that all the Organization data are getting filled properly.

    when i create a sales doc. based on a billing doc./sales doc.,  the sales units - sales ortgn, dist. channel, division, sales office and sales group are copied onto the newly created doc.
    Sales orgtn, distr. channel and division are coming in grey mode or in disable mode which cannot be changed.
    But Sales office and sales group are changeable..
    Is there any way to make these two fields i.e Sales Office and Sales Group  also in grey mode / disable mode or unchangeable mode.

    hello, friend.
    try using SHD0 to create your own screen variant for the sales order.  just follow the on-screen instructions.  look for Sales Office and Sales Group (if any) and check the box making manual entries not possible.  after you save the variant, assign this to your order type and test.
