Result Row not Yellow

Hi, When I run my Workbook Query (Backorder Qty by Material Division) for Sales Org 1100  the result it 8 rows of Material Divisions and a bottom yellow result row.  This is good.  When I add an additional Sales Org 1200 I end up with 9 rows of  Material Divisions and the Result Row is not Yellow.  The Row above the Total Line is Yellow (The Row that was originally the Result Total is yellow)
Any idea what might cause this behavior.  Can't find anything online that might be the cause.
Thanks

  • "Result" row not appearing for the Structure record in Bex Designer.

    Hi
    In BI BEx Designer,
under Rows-> click any Characteristic-> Display Tab-> Result Rows: "Always Display" Option controls Last Row named "Result" (yellow colored) after the actual data reports ends.
But i am not finding this thing for the structure.
Actually my this report is based on 'Structure-> 2 selections' under Rows; once i run this query i get data without yellow colored 'Result" row at the end of report. I wanted to maintain the symmetry with other reports.
Could u pls let me know how to get Query last "Result" record if i use only structure under the rows.
    Thanks...

I limit the selection to display in one page, i see the overrall result but i've a result to show up after a Characteristic (result row option 'Display with more than one single value'), it works fine in BEx but not in web.
for the other query, yes i do KF in the report.
    thanks

  • Result row not appearing for leftmost characteristics

    Hello Experts,
I am facing one issue I have two characteristics in rows A with display attributes b,c,d and F with diplay attributes e,f,g and key figures in columns, I am not able to see result row for Characteristc A but I can see result row for F but when I  change sequence in rows i.e characteristic F then charactrristic A I get result row for A.
Why this is happening please throw some light with available documentation.
    Thanks & Regards
    Deepak Chavan

    Hi Deepak,
You have 2 chars A & F in Rows and lets say a KF Q1 in columns. Now when you go to properties of the Chars A & F and select 'Display Always' for the Result .
As per property of query designer, when you see the result, the 'RESULT' row appears on the 2nd column (F) and 'OVERALL RESULT' is displayed for the 1st Column(F). This is logical because you cannot have the result rows appearing the 1st column!
Let us put an e.g. here... If field A is say CALMONTH with values 01.2010, 02.2010 etc and field F is 'Order Change Date' and KF is 'No of Orders changed'.
In such a scenario, when you have the Output of the query, the result set will have all the 'Change Dates' month wise grouped and the result column showing for each month under 'Order Change Date'.
This conveys the 'No. of Orders Changed' month wise!
    -Hope it helps

  • Result row not getting in Query

    Hi All,
I have standard infoobject "Characteristic" 0WAGETYPE in my Query. The Problem is, I am not getting the result row for the wage type. I checked the properties of
0WAGETYPE in my Query and kept results rows - always display. Still It is not getting. Any idea?
For your information, output of 0WAGETYPE has "/u201D. EX: /000, /210, /100. Is there any problem with this?
    Thanks,
    KN

    Hi,
Are there other char before this char in the repot.
Try to put only this char in the rows of the report and then see the result.
I dont think values like this can create any issue.
You can always raise an OSS message to SAp if this is the case.
    Thanks

  • Search Result Row Not Highlighted

    Hi Experts
I have a Result view . When i select the first one for some reason the ROW is not highlighted. It is selected as i able to get the data in my code and can pass the same to the next view, but somehow that HIGHLIGHTING is not happening when i select the row.
What could be the reason for this? Please advise
    Thanks
    Abishek

    Hello Abishek,
I was also suffered with this problem in my early days of CRM. The mistake is quite simple one. In table view .htm page onRowSelection is not passed or the passed event handler is not there is impl class or spelling or case mismatch of the event handler name.
Check all the cases. You will come to know.
    Thanks & regards

  • How to display Average, not Sum, in the "Overall Result" row of a report?

Every report I look at or execute that has an Overall Result row always shows a total(sum) of all the cells in the column.  I recently came across one that shows the average of all the cells in the column and after looking at the query in BEx Query Designer 7.0 and BEx Analyzer 7.0 I cannot seem to find out where to set this.  All of the Key Figures are listed as "Nothing Defined" in the Calculations tab which is exactly what they should be, but where can I set that yellow-highlighted Overall Result row to calculate an average, not a sum?
Example can be found in this picture:
    http://img87.imageshack.us/img87/6757/pic1yp.jpg
    Thanks for the help!

My issue was that I was setting my KF's to 'Calculate Result As: Average' within the Query View that I was editing but the change was not showing on my screen when I have that View opened within the Analyzer.  Infact, it still is showing totals.  But when I execute my Web Template that references this Query View, the graph does display the result row using Averages.  Seems to just be a visibility bug, but it is now working.
Thanks for the reminder about that property KP,

  • Overall Result Row is not the Sum of Individual Values!

I am frustrated with a weird problem.  I have an expense report in which Expense1 is shown a value of 8,126.  If I drilldown by company code, the sum of the company codes is 8,235, but the "Overall Result" row is showing 8,126.
I tried drilling down by GL accounts, cost centers, profit centers, material and even currency.  For all of these drilldowns the "Overall Result" row is 8,126 but the individual values sum out to be 8,235.
First I thought it could be "Zero Suppression" that is hiding some values from the display.  But "Zero Suppression" was not active at all.  I have checked the LISTCUBE and saw that the Expense1 should be 8,235 and not 8,126.  The key figure properties "Calculate Result As" and "Calculate Single Values As" are set to "Nothing Defined" and "Use Default Direction".  But still for some strange reason, the "Overall Result" row is different than the sum of individual rows.  It's driving me crazy as I have ran out of ideas to figure out what's happening.  Could someone help me with this?  I would appreciate any input with points!

    Hi,
Remove the 'Suppress Zero rows/columns' from the query definition and then check the values.
Column A might have value, but for the same row column B might have zero, hence the row was not shown in the result set, but the overall result will include all such values as well, even thought it was not shown in the result set.
    HTH,
    regards,
    Nataraj.

    Dear Suman
Thank you so much for your reply .
PY Mix and Val Gr KFs both key figures  has got same definition(Same formula ).So i cant use Summation for both KYF in Exp Agge
For Val Gr   -Result Row should be sum of values in Column , i have maintained no settings .And showing value as expected
    Val Gr -(CKF)
    1,015.68
    52,486.50
    2,836.12
    45,582.84
    1,01,921.15 -Result (Sum along columns)
For PY Mix  - Result Row should be as per formula defined , i have maintained summation in Exp aggregation  .And showing value as expected
    PY Mix -(CKF)
    1,015.68
    52,486.50
    2,836.12
    45,582.84
-2,07,747.50-Result (According to formula used )
But When i use these to kyf in another formula Result row are not calculating as per Expectation
PY MIX DIFF  = Val Gr - PY Mix
                              3,09,668.66 (expected )
                            = 0 (but final result )
any other inputs to make it

  • Result row does not hide value

    Hi all,
I have some calculated key figures that are using formula variables to get dates to do calculations on.
Since summing up date values does not lead to anything meaningful, I selected the 'Hide' value in the 'Calculate results as...' section.
However, the results row is still showing an 'X' in this column when I run the query.
I have one calculated key figure for a date using this same method (formula variable from an infoobject) and the result row is hidden correctly.
Does anyone have any idea on why the result row would still display even though it supposed to be hidden?
    Thanks in advance.

result rows needs need to be suppressed for characteristic properties.
in query designer , click on characteristics in your reports ( i.e  rows ) goto display property supress the result rows..

  • Overall results row - how not to show some columns

    Dear Experts
I have set results rows enabled at a certain characteristic level.
So, at the rows level, the results row is showing.
But at the right-hand-side results columns, some of the keyfigure columns should not be displayed , for example, price should not be summed.
How can this be achieved using a  query only?
    regards
    Pascal

    HI,
As i dont have your report layout based on my assumptions i understand that you have put one char in rows column above the strucutre and thats why you are getting result in rows and column as well.
Now you need to hide the column result which indeed seems no to me i tried same on my system but i can only make the value and result blank but cannot hide the complete result column.
Please correct me if my understanding is worng or your requirement in something differnent.
    Hope it helps.

  • How to make the Results row a toggle when the user wants/does not want see

The user wants to toggle between seeing/not seeing the Results row at the bottom of each row. How to make it like a toggle checkbox/selection on the screen so that the user can decide on seeing/not seeing it in the report. If not possible to do such a thing, then how do I totally prevent it from showing in the report. Version is 3.5 BW.
    Thanks
    Ram

For each characteristics in the query designer, right-click and go to properties....
then in the 'Display of Results' section in the 'Suppress Result Rows' option, select: "Always".
This will suppress the result rows.
    Good luck,

  • Formula in Query does not display Results Rows

    All -
I know that people have posted this same thread before but I've been unable to find an answer or the questions have not been resolved.
I have created a simple query and the key figure columns are all formulae.  The calculations are all the same format:  KF1/KF2
    Where
KF1 is an Amount kf with Local Currency as the unit (the dataset only contains GBP)
    And
KF2 is a counter (the standard 1ROWCOUNT 'number of records' key figure).
The calculations work fine in the rows but I cannot get any results in any Results rows or Overall Result.  Something is populated when I do not define anything in "Calculate Results As..." for the formulae, but this is not a summation, and when I select Summation or Total, the Results rows are blank.
I have tried altering settings for the key figures in the admin workbench, I've tried recreating them as global Calculated Key Figures, and I've tried playing around with the settings on the Calculation tab, but nothing works.
Please does someone have an answer to this??
    Thanks
    Mischa

    Hi,
    As follows -
         Cost (£)     # Records     Formula
    Ref1     500     2     250
    Ref2     300     1     300
    Ref3     900     3     300
    RESULT     1700     6
I have the Cost (£) key figure and the # Records Key figure.  These are both hidden.
The formula behind the Formula is simply Cost(£)/#Records.
The characteristic used is not based on the most granular level hence the need for the calculation.
Although the formula is working correctly on a row by row basis, the results rows are blank.
As mentioned above, I have tried changing these to Calculated Key Figures, this has not worked.
    Thanks
    Mischa

  • Results row shown only at the bottom and not at each value level

    Dear Experts
I have a report based on a multiprovider consisting infosets and a cube.
There are several row characteristics shown. 1 of these were set to show results row. But the results row is not shown at each value level but at across all its characteristics level, ie. at the bottom of  this characteristic. So, only 1 results row shown and not 1 results row per each value of this characteristic.
Some other characteristics are showing multiple rows of results rows but at a certain grouping level and also not at per value level.
Please advise what could be the cause.
    regards
    Pascal

    Dear Experts
    Solved.
Due to the concept works like this:
To see results row for a characteristic, must set it to the char infront, not to the char itself.
But then when user re-arranges the position of the row chars, there could be an issue.
Is this a constraint of BEx?

  • Average in Results row in calculation properties for Bex Key figure does not work in Analysis for Office 1.4.7

We are moving from Bex 3.5 to Bex 7.0 and using Analysis for Office 1.4.7
We have queries that do an average for the results rows of dynamic calculations and the queries will not open in Analysis for Office 1.4.7 (example is below)
We get an error message that can be found below
We were able to open the queries in Analysis 1.4.5 with the correct results.
We do not understand why it worked in an older version and not the new one.
Is there something missing in the version 1.4.7 of Analysis for Office that is preventing our queries from running?
We do not want to move back to 1.4.5 because the performance is better in 1.4.7.
    Help.....

    Hi Patty,
I just checked 1.4.7 by making "Calculate Results As.." for Key figure and formula to Average(and also tried others as well). No error is coming in Analysis Office. reason might be because of other reason
Any way, As Tammy Powlas suggested can you check with SP8

  • Result Row of Formula is not using the displayed values

    Good Day,
I got a query with following layout
                        Child Ship     Parent Ship     Rate
    Child          Parent          ST     ST     %
    Material A                         F6WH           F6WH     55     22     250,00
              F7D1           F7D1     55     33     166,67
              F8LG           F8LG     55     11     500,00
              Result                  55     66     250,00
The child ship key figure has a setting calculate result as average to display the total shipment of the child. Rate is defined as formula  Child Ship %A Parent Ship.
In the result row as Rate I require 83% (55 divided by 66).
It seems that the Rate formular still uses the SUM of child ship 555555 (165 diveded by 66).
Anyone an idea how to get the "wanted result" of 83% ?
Thanks for all replies in advances (points will be assigned).
    Axel

    Hi,
As far as i understand the issue is with the child ship keyfigure in that you have  selected calcualte result as average which is only for display purpose that result cant be used for futher calculations.
If you want to calculate the average make use of exception aggregation.
Make a new formula and put you keyfigure for which you need to calculate avg. then hit Aggregation tab---Exception aggregation as average and refernce characterstic choose on which you are getting unique set of values.
Then continue with your other steps.
    Hope it helps.
