Retrieving the whole activity of a db user

Hi,
I want to gather and afterwards to sum up all the activities (inserts , updates , deletes , selects) of a db user.In other words , i want to count all the records affected - during inserts ,during updates ,during deletes - and the records selected...... per day.
Is there any way to achieve the desired result in Oracle 10g v.2 database????

Hi,
Eventually , i don't need the number of records selected from a select statement but only the number of selects during a day or in a particular time period.
I have thought the solution of auditing all tables for inserts , updates , deletes , selects for each access - not by session....
So , in the sys.aud$ will be registered all the user activity - number of records inserted , updated , deleted and the number of select the user issued!!!!!!
Is the above consideration correct and is there any other better solution..????

Hello all
I guess this is a rather simple question, but can someone tell me if the portal activity report can show a count of unique users per page per week for instance?
Or will it just show which users have visited the page in a list without aggregating them to a number? And if the users are aggregated to a number, is it only uniwue users that are counted for the given period?

Retrieving the whole URL of the caller page in a frameset.

I have a frameset where each frame contains a JSP page. Let's say that in one of the frames i have page1.jsp, whose URL is http://www.site.com/page1.jsp?a=1&b=2 . This JSP contains a link to page2.jsp . I click the link so now in frame A there is page2.jsp .
From page2.jsp, can i retrieve the URL of the page that called page2.jsp (that is, can i retrieve http://www.site.com/page1.jsp?a=1&b=2) ?
I know that page1.jsp could simply pass its own URL to page2.jsp as a parameter, but it would be very better if i could retrieve that URL without explicitly passing it.
I tried to read the request header "referer", which would be just what i need, but it always returns the URL of the page that created the frameset, which is useless to me.

1) You can check for referrer, but the browser doesn't have to give it.
2) You can encode the referrer URL directly into your links...

Can't retrieve the result from the soap response

We are trying to send and retrieve audio files using j2me web services. What we did is to convert the byte array (recorded audio) to hex string before sending it to the server. We used the sun java platform 9 for our web service, sun java wireless toolkit 2.2,mysql.
We successfully saved and sent audio files that is recorded up to 39 seconds long. Longer than that, the application does not continue running the program. In retrieving the audio file from the database, the application could retrieve and play an audio file up to 2 seconds long. Any audio file longer than 2 seconds, the application does not complete the retrieval.
We already looked on the memory usage of the emulator and it doesn't use the whole phone memory to retrieve a 3 seconds audio file. We also looked on the soap message response and it showed that it retrieves the whole audio file which is in hex string even if it is a 3 seconds audio file.
We don't know why the phone/emulator could not retrieve the whole audio file (if it's longer than 2 seconds) from the server. What could be the cause of the problem?

is there anything in Oracle Internet Directory that corresponds to what in Microsoft Active Directory are links and backlinks???
Having placed a user inside a set of groups, how can I efficiently retrieve the list of groups the user belongs to??? In AD links and backlinks are used for this: when I place a user inside a group the member attribute on the group is populated with the DN of the user and AD places the DN of the group inside the memberOf backlink attribute of the user. This allows for efficiently retrieving the list of groups the user belongs to. How does all this work in OID???

... and of course I have to add that this can be done with very few programming (but with that - with much more possibilities) by using a redirect "proxy iView", which is described in detail (and is taking just this scenario as one use case among others) on the slides of my TechEd presentation "Implementing Dynamic iView Properties", at least available for TechEd visitors now.
On the other hand, searching for "proxy iView" on SDN will return different results where at least I have described the basic idea.

Unfortunately I did not succeed in finding some information about this. Is it possible? If yes, how?

Can you access the URL using a browser? Does it work with the credentials used for the RunAs account?
Strange error message though - are the account you are running the console with, present in the SCSM CMDB?
