Return TO with SU against delivery

Hi Friends
I have the following scenario:
Against a delivery for 100 pcs, I have created a TO with 3 line items for 50, 30, 50 pcs. The  line items 1 & 3 are confirmed, 2nd line item is pick confirmed, delivery is in complete status, PGI is posted.
Now I want to cancel the 2nd line item.Since the line item is pick confirmed, I shall confirm it and then reverse the movement with another new TO.But since the delivery is complete I cannot create new TO with the SU against this delivery and in document flow for the delivery it will always show that TO was for 130 pcs as there is no link between new TO and old delivery.
Please guide me on how to solve this issue by creating a return TO with storage unit against delivery.
Thanks
Prasad

Hi Nageshwar Rao
LT15 - cannot be used because the TO is pick confirmed.

  • Can we create Return Sales Order with Ref to Delivery

    Dear Friends,
Can we create a Return sales order (RE) with reference to Delivery (LF)?
    If yes,how?
    If not,why?
    Regards,
    Shrikant

    Hi there,
As per the standard process we donot refer RE with LF. 1 reason may be coz for returns order, we need to copy pricing either from OR or F2. Coz in LF pricing is not copied from OR. If you check the copy control from OR to LF in VTLA, at item level, you will not have any control for pricing type.
In most of the cases we refer returns to F2 sothat it will be easy to raise a credit memo to refund the customer. This is also because not all items in the order are delivered & invoiced (in partial delivery scenarios when all items are not confirmed)

    Hi Raees,
Isnt your process flow like this: Sales Order>Delivery>Billing>Return Order>Return Delivery-->Billing?
In general, to ensure that you're creating the invoice always w/ref to a delivery document pls do the following:
    1) In VOV8, where you cnofigure your sales doc type remove the order related billing i.e. keep it blank.
    2) In VOV8, put the billing doc in delivery relevant doc.
    3) In VOV8, in shipping section put the delivery doc type.
    4) Create copy controls between the delivery doc type and billing in VTFL at header and item levels.
    5) In the item category for this order type+ item cat grp ensure the billing relevance is either B, C or F.
    6) Maintain no copy controls between sales order and the billing in VTFA.
    I hope this helps.

    Raghu.

  • Sales Return Process-Invoice(Credit Memo) with ref. to delivery

    Dear All,
I am doing sales return process.
    Sales Order-RE
    Delivery-LR
    Invoice-RE,
with ref. to sales order it is allowing me to create invoice.
But,with ref. to delivery it is not allowing.
It is giving "The document is not relevant for billing".
I have changed item category  REN for delivery (A) related billing.
Also changed req. copy control setting.
Can anybody guide on this issue.
    Best Regards
    Sainath

    Hello,
Normally return credit memo will be generated with reference to the retrun order, and that is the standard SAP process. Do you have any specific requirements to have the credit memo with reference to a retrun delivery?
The Item category REN Billing Relevence will be B as per SAP standard, if you wish to have a delivery related credit RE, the make this to A .
Maintain the Delivery to Billing Copying control in VTFL for LR --> RE, add the item categroy REN.
Maintain the copying requirements for header as 3 Header Del Rel and for item as 4 Deliv-Related item .
Once these setting are done, then check whether the RE billing type is triggering from LR?

My thoughts on this is that the original PO was for 20TH.  therefore you will only be able to return 20TH against it regardless of what you receipted.  This is because SAP copies from the original PO document for the return and not the GR material document.
You can try to edit the original PO and increase the amount to 20,020 and try again.  But I don't think you'll be able to edit that since it was fully receipted.
Your probably going to have to do a return for 20TH and then a separate, stand-alone return for 20,000 TH.

    HI,
To avoid difficulties post miro with Reference document (PO Reference Tab) - Delivery note click on Radio button a possible entries for delivery note screen will appear. Here you can search specific delivery note by a lot of criteria which will save ur time and effort also you can see MIGO Document.  Click and put tick to adopt and post Delivery note / migo and enter required field.

  • Return process with credit note.

    Hi Experts,
I have done a sales order with quantity 9 pcs, delivered and PGI  with quantity 9 pcs and also invoiced the customer for 9 Pcs. Now customer has returned 4 pcs, in this case he has to only pay for 5 pcs.
    I have done return process
    1. Create returns order with T.Code VA01 and order type RE and quantity of 4 Pcs
    2. Delivery with VL01N and Post Goods Reciepts of 4 Pcs
    3. Transfer 4 pcs from return to unrestricted use.
now how to raise credit memo ......please guide me step by step.
    Regards
    Rahul

I suggested you G2 Invoice type by mistake. Apologies.
You need to use Credit for Returns Invoice Type - RE.
Go to T-Code VF01 & select Invoice Type as RE. Now create this Credit for Returns Invoice with Reference to your Returns order Type.
If the above is not happening then check T-Code VTFA & maintain copy controls for RE (Order) to RE (Invoice)
    Hope this helps,

  • Return Order with reference to Proforma invoice

    Dear All
Is it possible to create a return order with reference to proforma invoice. How ?? if possible.
Our scenario is when we do stock transfer order and truck meets with an accident or anything and material needs to written to the factory premises. we dont want to complete proforma invoice.
    Suggestions PLZZ
    Regards-
    Ram

I don't see any the relevance or logic of creating of return order from proforma invoice.
You can follow - Returns flow:
PO type is same ( Intercompany STO PO type is NB )
While you make this PO there is a return indicator check box at the line item where you will give qty etc (scroll on the rt side)
    Tick that
Then save the PO with all other information
There is a configuration Return delivery type has to be assigned
    IMG-MM-Purchasing-PO-Returns Order-Return Plant to Plant
Here for your plant you need to assign delivery type as NCR This config is reqd to be done from your end
    So, the Flow would be
    - ME21N (with returns indicator)
    -VL10B
-VL02N (delivery type will be NCR ) & do a PGR here
-VF01 do billing with reference to delivery created
I Category in del will be NCRN & M type will be 673
If you are using standard document types system will pick billing type as IG which is nothing but a intercompany credit memo
Copy controls between NCR and IG in VTFL is already there in standard
For understanding also, refer following link:
    return process intercompany stock transfer
    Hope this can assist you.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Vendor return integrate with FI

    Hi friends,
We process vendor return with shipping . Process is create vendor return PO>create return delivery>PGI
Post goods issue hit movement type 161 and relevent GL . Right now, key user need different GL to be hit based on different eturn scenarios.. So I copied 161 to generate say z61 and assign diffient GL to Z61.
My question is how to configure to let user be able to process diffierent process?
    Thank you for providing info.
    Linda

    Hi,
    Movement  type -
    > 161 is used for Stock material returned to vendor via Return PO only .First you need create return PO for Returns material with  return indicator with Price
Now carry on transaction for return in t.code MIGO or MB01 with 161 movement type. So stock of material will reduce from your stock with affecting stock account as credited, now as you wanted where & how other G/L account will l come here and get credited?
After MIGO for161 movement type, next steps are:J1IS(Excise Invoice ),J1IV( Post and Print Outgoing Excise Invoice) , MIRO (Credit memo w.r.t. Returns PO) & finally J2IUN (Utilize the Excise Invoice)

  • Returnable packaging with rental in is-mill 6.0

    hello sappers,
can any one guide me with the step as how to config returnable packaging with rental calculation also need the pricing procedure for credit and debit memo calculation.
    regards
    Anil

    Hi,
For returnable packing you need to create material with material type LEIH Returnable packing.
The item category and Gen Item Category should be LEIH.
When we receive the returnable material back from the customer the document type i.e order type is LA - Retn Packing pick -up.
In the delivery - we need to do Post good receipt . this will update the stock i.e in mmbe if you check the stock of returnable matl , it will show the packing matl at customer end. when we do the PGR , the stock from customer stock gets reduced and the stock at our end ( storgate location ) will increase.
If we do not receive the material , we need to debit the amount to the customer. For doing this, you need to create the document with order type LN.
Go do delivery and do the PGI ( pcik up is not required as the material is already picked up) . After PGI to to VF01 for billing and to the billing with reference to delivery doc no. The amount you would like to debit will get debited to customer a/c.on flaging .
Hope this will resolve your issue.

  • MIRO (Credit Memo) with reference to delivery note

    Hi,
Our problem is that we are not able to post miro (credit memo) pertaining to return delivery 122 movemnt type with refrerence to delivery note, however it can be posted with reference to purchase order.
    How can we do it.
    regards
    GR

    Hi,
Thanks for the answer. Please note down the complete scenario.
First we made PO of A item for 1000 Pcs, then we post migo and miro for 1000 Pcs. In migo suppose I have entered 123 as delivery note number and I have posted miro withreference to delivery note no. 123.
Now suppose, we made return delivery of 500 Pcs (122 movemnt) and put delivery note no. 124. Now when I post credit memo (miro) of the return delivery I am not able to post miro with reference to delivery note number, but when I try to post withreference to Po, I am able to post. But I have to change 500 Pcs Qty and its amount manually, which we don't want, we want that the credit memo should be posted withreference to delivery note number as we have posted for 1000 Pcs. and we also want that return delivery qty and value should automatically come in miro screeen.

  • Vendor dues against delivery payment

    Hi
PLEASE SPECIFY THE T-CODE FOR VIEWING VENDOR DUES AGAINST DELIVERY
    PAYMENTS
THERE ARE DIFFERENT TERMS IN THE PURCHASE ORDERS LIKE
    -- AGAINST DELIVERY
    -- 50 % AGAINST DELIVERY
    -- AGST PROFORMA DELIVERY
    -- ETC.....ETC....

    Hi Anis
If you create a new item category for the prepaid scenario, you can select what item category (and process) to use at order entry. It is also possible to code a
user exit so that only certain customers will get the prepaid process. This can be done also with item category groups (can be used to determine what default item category that should appear). This would mean that you either have different material numbers for the different processes or use different distribution channels in the sales order. DC 10 could be  the normal process and DC 20 the prepaid process. Then you need to create the sales  views in material master for DC 20 for all materials that should be possible to run in the  prepaid scenario, and enter the "prepaid item category group in the sales item category  group field in material master.
Here is a proposal of customizing activities to achieve this:
    1. Create a new item category as a copy of the normal item category used for non-prepaid  sales. (Change the billing in the item category to order related billing with no billing plan)
    2. Create a new item category group "ZXXX" or something of your choice with the
description "Prepaid" or something like that.
    3. In item category assignment, add or check entries so that you have the order type used,  and item category group defaulting the new item category.
    4. Check copy control from sales document to billing document for the new item category.
Also delivery copy control could be good to check.
    5. Create a new distribution channel and assign it to the company structure (plant, sales org etc)
    6. Extend your material(s) with views for the new distribution channel and enter the "ZXXX"  item category group in the field for sales item category group
    Thanks

  • Stock in transit with respect to Delivery

    Hello MM Gurus,
I created a Transport scheduling Agreement with SD route ( Intra company). I created a Delivery in VL10B & Post the Goods issue through 641 Mvt. In recieving plant I post the GR against delivery. I am developing a report for stock in transit Qty with respect to the delivery. How can I link the delivery to Stock in transit Qty?.Please guide me how to proceed.
    Regards
    Senthil

    Hi
Stock in Transit can be viewed in report MB5T.
In the Material document of the 641 movement you have the
delivery note number present done through VL10B.
In that way you can link up the Goods in transit to the delivery.
In table MKPF & MSEG you can get the delivery note number.
    Thanks & regards
