Roles not updating in SelectManyShuttle

Hi,
We have three tables EMP, EMP_ROLES, ROLES. EMP_ROLES table is the bridge table and contains only the EMP_ID and its linked ROLE_ID's. On our page we have created two tabs through Show detail item, on one tab we can create new users and update existing ones. On the second tab we can search and select users through an ADF output text table and then come back to the first tab and edit them. On the first tab we have a form layout which displays the users details and a SelectManyShuttle to display the selected roles. Now, the application works fine when we open it initially, after searching for a user on the second tab we come back to the first tab and the users details and roles are updated.
However, once we have saved or deleted some roles for any user i.e. in the EMP_ROLES table, the role shuttle does not update when we navigate from the search tab to the modify tab. If we navigate through the users on the first tab the shuttle works fine, but only when we come back from the search page the shuttle does not get updated and keeps showing the roles of the previous user.
I am using JDev version 11.1.2.3.0.
Can anyone please provide me with any ideas on how to get this resolved?
Please let me know if any more information is required.
Thanks in advance!
Naman

Hi KT,
Thanks for the response and apologies for the delayed reply.
I am new to ADF development, as a matter of fact this is the first time I'm working on it. Could you please explain a bit further how I can set the iterator refresh property or execute it programmatically?
Yes the shuttle component does show updated roles and works as required when opened in a new browser.

  • Roles are not updating in the GRC 10.0 System.

    Hi
We had created Z role in ECC system and Ran the Sync Jobs in the GRC 10.0 System .
But the role created in backend System(ECC) was not updating in the roles of the GRC system.
Can any one provide right solution.
    Thanks

    Hi Wipro Basis Team
On running the sync job what are you expecting to occur when you say the roles are not updating in GRC System? I wonder if you are expecting a different outcome to the purpose of the sync jobs.

  • R/3 BP role ship to party from prospective customer not updating in to CRM

    Hi,
When we change Business partner role to ship-to-party from prospective customer in R/3  not updating in to SAP CRM .
Please suggest the solution for this.
    Thanks,
    Naveen Kumar.

    Dear Rekha,
I have verified but No issues in PIDE, looks everything is fine.
Account Groups 0001 to 0005 were asssigned to Classification B.
But initially when I started replicating customers all the roles were created as Sold-to-Party in CRM irrespective of their role in R/3. We have applied Note: 914437. Since then the issue got resolved.
Pls suggest me in this regard.

  • BW Roles are not updated in BOBJ system

    Hi All,
We have created additional roles in BW system. But these roles are not updated in BOBJ system(BI 4.0). I am not able to see these roles in SAP Authentication when we update the user option too. Any solution for this?
    Regards,
    Krishna.K

    Thanks for the reply victor,
Users are not yet assigned to these roles. But, it should display in the left hand side while importing?
So, Is this because of no users in these roles?

  • User status profile in Q-info record not updating on UD

    Hi All,
My required scenario was, delivery of a material from a vendor must pass through inspection series
    u2022     Model
    u2022     Preliminary
    u2022     Regular delivery
    For that,
1). Maintain different inspection types (with corresponding task list usages) and create inspection plans with these usages.
2). Maintain the corresponding status profiles for the object type QINF and assigned inspection type to each status in 'SM30 - V_TQ32A'
3). Assign this status profiles in the quality info records for the relevant materials, vendors combination.
My problem is while GR against PO, inspection lot for the goods receipt is created automatically and system selects the inspection type as assigned to next status, BUT, When Quality person make a UD to inspection lot, the system NOT sets the next status in the status sequence i.e status not updating on UD. And even when UD is done for the existing lot system not allow for GR of next lot.
Kindly let me know where I am wrong.
    Regards,

    Hi,
The problem is due to missing authorization object :B_USERSTAT".
Assign this authorization object in your id/role and give necessary values in the fields (activity, authorization key, object category and status profile) and then carry out the transaction again.
    Thanks

  • Marketing Attributes not updating in BP through Suvery

    Hi friends,
I m working in CRM 5.0, i want to update marketing attribute of BP using survey response, i have created survey which include marketing attributes, in survey setting i have maintained
    Callback to PBO    CRM_MKTBP_SVY_ATTRIBUTE_PBO
    Callback to PAI      CRM_MKTBP_SVY_ATTRIBUTE_PAI
further i have generated survey url using BSP option, next i have assign this survey url  to  mail form, Customers/BPs can open the mail and able to fill the survey successfully, but when i checked in master data of BP no marketing attributes are assign to them(Marketing attributes are not updating).
Please help me to resolve this,do  i will have to add marketing attribute anywhere in FM code ?? i have also read sap note : 638320 but no success.
    Thanks,
    Vivan

    Hello together,
I would like to describe my own problem with updating Marketing Attributes in a Business Partner via a CRM Survey.
Currently I am working with SAP CRM 7.0 EHP1. The Survey is maintained in SAP Survey Suite in the Application "Marketing".
Furthermore I am using the following function modules:
    Callback to PBO CRM_MKTBP_SVY_ATTRIBUTE_PBO
    Callback to PAI CRM_MKTBP_SVY_ATTRIBUTE_PAI
The Marketing Attributes should be updated within a Contact. This contact have assigned the role "Internet User". Behind this role I have defined my CRM User name.
For testing the Attribute update I have generated an URL with BSP. Afterwards I opened this URL and logged in with my CRM User name. After filling in the survey and submitting no business partner were updated. It seems that the "conversion" from my CRM User to the CRM contact doesn't work. I think there could be a problem with the PBO and PAI modules. Because the functionality "Evaluation" within the Survey Suite shows a number of evaluated questionnaires and answers after submitting my survey.
    So my questions:
Are the mentioned PBO and PAI modules up to date? (Last change date was in 2005)
Is the Application "Marketing" within the SAP Survey Suite the correct one?
I would be glad if anyone could give me tip for my problem. Thanks a lot and best regards,
    Oliver

  • Group membership on AD-bound server is not updating correctly

I have a 10.6.4 server that is bound to AD with Win2008 domain controllers. I am seeing group membership not update properly on this OS X server. If I type "id -p username" I don't get a full list of groups the user is a member of. If I launch Workgroup Manager, all of the groups are listed. I am using the box as a Subversion server and need the group updates to propagate from AD for Apache authentication to work correctly. Any ideas as to why the propagation is not happening? Is there a way I can flush whatever cache might be causing an issue? Can the group membership list be "refreshed"?

Yes, we are using Initialization Blocks to update the User Groups. Our USER_PERMISSION table has Login, Company_ID, Roles, etc columns in it. The Initialization Block will query on this Table and the query has a where clause in it and the Where clause "where company_id=(select substr(':USER', 0, (instr(':USER', '.')) - 1) from dual) and upper(login)=upper((select substr(':USER', (instr(':USER', '.')) + 1) from dual))) and dw_delete_date is null" from which it will get the roles for each user. And YES, the Caching is turned off for this initialization block.
And I should try deleting the user folders, but my company has a very strict policy so I should do that in DEv, then QA and in PRD. Hope this works, but I am still not convinced why this is happening. We cannot keep on deleting the user folders in future if this happens again.

  • Coherence not update database

    Hi
I'm new in Coherence and I have a doubt about the synchronization between Coherence+JPA and the database.
I have created a data model with JPA Entities which has an entity Role with their privileges Map. Privileges Map is <String><PrivilegeList> and PrivilegeList has his own restrictions List, and so on.
I put into the cache only the role object and the data is generated and stored correctly in the database. But when I get the role from the cache, update a value of their objects and put it into the cache, the database remains equal, not update, but the cache has the changes.
What can be the problem? I can't update complex objects? I can only update simple objects?
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi
    Any suggestion?
Maybe I have to create a different cache for each entity object of my model? Or indicate that my cache contains more than one entity on it?
    I use Coherence 3.6 and JDeveloper 11.1.2.1
    Thanks in advance.

    Dear All,
If tabale name & vairable name is same in a Stored Procedure, UPDATE to table does not take place.
For example run following 2 procedures. First procedure does the insert properly to table but second procedure does not update the table.
    create or replace procedure BugDemo1
    as
    LAST_NAME VARCHAR2(30);
    FIRST_NAME VARCHAR2(30);
    Begin

    FIRST_NAME = FIRST_NAME
    where id = 77777 ;
    end;
    ------------------------------------------

    Hi,
It is not a bug. Oracle is updating the records. Here Oracle is treating the variable name as COLUMN_NAME. Since priority is higher for a COLUMN on variable so each column is getting updated by itself resulting no change in data.
    SQL> CREATE TABLE com_people

  • Pacman not updating

    Hi everyone,
I have had arch on my laptop for a while now, 3 months i think, and two days on my desktop pc. For some reason I can not update either. It just said that there is nothing to do.
I tried loads of things like just doing
    pacman -Syy
and changing the mirrorlist so random mirrors are at the top.
The only difference is that when running pacman -Syu on my laptop, it updates the repos and then says that there is nothing to do rather than on the desktop it says that repos are up to date. Here is my pacman.conf, it is the same on both systems:

  • Delta-links not updated

    Hi
We have created some delta-links between uploaded roles, but the delta-links are not updated when changes are made to the source object.
How are delta-links updated? Is it a service running in intervals? If yes, how can I access the service to see if it is running, restart it or change the interval?
    Any help is appreciated
    Kind regards
    Morten Ellgaard

We are on SPS13, and I think something has changed. The documentation only refers to remote delta-links, but we do not use federated portal. I am pretty shure that I have seen a delta-link update service in a previous version, but now it is gone / I can't find it.

    Need some help.
    regards

    HI
    Thanks for the reply.
It is indeed very  helpful .
I created the BP with my program and then run MDS_ppo2  TCODE
Where I saw the missing field knvv-vkgrp,  KNVV-VKGRP: Required field check failed
I am using the BAPI  BAPIBUSISM007_CREATEFROMDATA for creating BP, in this in none of importing parameters can i send this value to the table,
Infact I tried with the update  statement  to send this value to the database for the BP no craeted , but failed as there is no line in KNVV for the BP created ..
Now What should I check for.? pl do tell
    Thanks & Regards
