Roles........reuires to log into CRM web interface

I am getting the following error while logging into the we gui of CRM.It is giving me the following error
"Logon is not possible because you have not been assigned to a business role".
Do anybody have idea which role is required to log into the web gui.

Hi Sanju
To resolve your problem:
you need to assign a parameter value to your user id:
follow the below steps to fix error:
1. logon to SAP GUI (not webclient)
2.execute transaction su01
3.in the user field enter you user id that you logon with: eg sanju
4.click change or (shift+F6)
5.click on the Parameters tab
6.maintain the entries:
   parameter id: CRM_UI_PROFILE
   parameter value: SALESPRO
7.click save.
8.now logon to the Webclient with the same user as in step 3. and this should resolve you problem.
Dependant on your roles: Under the Roles tab also confirm that you have the roles:
BP_SLS_EMPLOYEE
BP_SLS_MANAGER
SAP_BC_USR_CUA_CLIENT
SAP_BC_USR_CUA_SETUP_CLIENT
SAP_CRM_OR_ADMIN
SAP_CRM_OR_ADMIN
SAP_CRM_OR_USER
SAP_CRM_UIU_ANALTYICSPRO
SAP_CRM_UIU_ANALTYICSPRO_UI
SAP_CRM_UIU_SLS_PROFESSIONAL

  • Problems logging into the web interface

The issue is with a TCS running 6.1 firmware. This is the response from my customer:
Today, I tried to check some of the settings on the TCS and found I could not log on. I get a login prompt, but after entering my user name and password there is a long pause and then I get an HTTP 500  "internal server error."
I went looking through some logs and found this in the ContentEngine log:
14        2014-12-11T15:54:09-05:00        Error: Executing SQL query, SQL error occurred while getting number of result columns [db_database = TCSDBv3, db_host_name = 127.0.0.1, db_instance = TCS, db_port = 2090, db_user_name = tcsdbuser, sql_error = error code: 10054 state: 01000 message: ConnectionWrite (send()).error code: 11 state: 08S01 message: General network error. I restarted the server and now I get no errors in the ContentEngine log, but the problem persists. Now I find this in the ContentLibrary log, each line corresponding to a failed login attempt:

I only get this error after entering a valid user name and password - if I enter bad authentication tokens, I get the appropriate error. So whatever this is, it's happening after I successfully authenticate.
Can someone help me in finding the problem.

No. The issue corrected itself.  Not sure what caused the problem.

  • Unable to capture trace, when user logs in throuigh Web Interface

The Trace shows 'No Records Found', when user logs in through Web Interface of CRM. But there is Trace found, when the same user logs in through logon pad and carries out normal actvities.
    sufficient auth. is provided.
Is there any setting in ST01, through which i can get trace , when user logs in through Web Interface
    Regards

    ST10 traces 1 instance only.
Your CRM web interface could use another instance than your backend. Go to transaction SM21, choose the appropriate server and run ST10 again.
    Succes!

  • Integrate WAD 7.0 Template into BPS Web Interface

    Dear all,
We recently migrated to BW 7.01. We have an existing planning application running as a BPS Web Interface.
I now want to integrate a query output (data and chart) by using a web template designed with WAD 7.0 into the existing BPS web interface. I know how to do this with a web template designed with WAD 3.5. There is also a How-to paper available that explains it for 3.5. I'm struggling now to do the same with WAD 7.0. The syntax for the URL generation changed, that's one problem. There maybe more when actually calling the web template from the web interface(?).
I found some threads here in the forum dealing with this issue but no clear solution. Some posts even mentioned that integration of 7.0 web templates into BPS web interfaces is not possible at all. I would appreciate any information on this issue.
    Thanks in advance!
    Regards,
    Ulrich Meier

    Hello Ulrich,
the 7.0 web templates run on your BI Java server which has a different host name (and port) than you BW ABAP server which run the BPS web interface. The servers are different in Dev/QA/Prod so you need to generate the URL dynamically.
One way is to hardcode it in JavaScript. Something like: if CurrentDomain = ABAPDevDomain. Domain = JavaDevDomain. if CurrentDomain = ABAPQADomain. Domain = JavaQADomain. etc
A fancy alternative would be to put the Java domain and port into an exit variable which you could include in the BPS web interface (in a hidden DIV tag for example). Fill the exit variable using function RSWR_GET_DEPLOY_PORTAL_INFO. Then your JavaScript can pick up this value to generate the proper URL for the web template.

  • Error when logging into IC Web Client  - CRM 5.0

    Hi All
I have configured the IC Web client including the communication management software information . I am trying to use CCS.
I get the following error messages when I logon to Web Client.
1.Already logged in; multichannel services ended in your other sessions
    2.X channel is not available
3.Failed to log into the queue X
also I am getting the Java script error on the IE 6.0.
    SAM_session not defined etc.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Sai,
Kindly make sure that you have JREE1.4.0 and  not above for  your  error.
Secondly, you are getting the first message because when you are closing your application by clicking onto the close at top, it doesnt log out your agent from the Webclient. The correct approach would be to close using the path Menu Bar> File> Close
The channels are not  available because you have not maintained the queues and channels for your system. The same is do be done in SAP Easy Acess> Webclient> Additional Settings. It is also available in the Best Practices C78.
The link for the same is
    http://help.sap.com/bp_crmv250/CRM_DE/index.htm
    Hope this would help.

  • I cannot log into one web site on main computer.

    Hello,
I have a weird situation which the company that I'm working with can't provide an explanation.
I am trying to log into the following web page: http://www.methodintegration.com/solutionproviders
but it says that it doesn't recognize my username/password in Firefox, IE, Opera, and Chrome browsers.
However, in a virtual machine with Windows 7 32-bit (same OS as main computer), I am able to log in successfully. I have tons of programs on my main computer so I can't figure out which one is blocking it. I have Avast! antivirus on both machines, so I know this isn't causing the problem. I tried uninstalling Spybot on my main machine (since this is not on the virtual) and that didn't solve the problem. I also tried renaming the hosts file to hosts.old and I tried removing all the Spybot entries in the hosts file but this didn't solve the problem.
Is there any way to run a log or determine what protocol that web page is using that something else is trying to block? I have already tried removing all web browsing history, cookies, cache, etc. and it does not fix the problem. Could this be something that visiting the site for the first time was put in the registry with a different user name/password?
    == This happened ==
    Every time Firefox opened
== First time I tried logging into web site.

I don't have the firewall turned on for both machines; I only have a firewall through my router (which would affect all machines). I thought it might be caused by Spybot, but I uninstalled it and I still had a problem. Avast is installed on both machines, so this is not blocking it.
Would a web page that uses javascript do anything to the registry?

  • Some questions on CRM web interface

    Hi
I am new to CRM and I have few questions listed below:
    1. Are all the CRM services accessible via the IC ?
    2. If there is a scenario where some services needs to be available via the web, then is it a must I should use the IC?
    3. Does the CRM business package in Portal include all the services that are in SAP CRM or are they specific to certain services?
    Please help
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Mike,
Yes the portal should provide access to all the CRM functionality with the exception of ISA/mobile.  In those cases ISA(Internet Sales) can be integrated to the portal, but is a java-based application.  The mobile application is designed with its own UI for mobile client access.
Almost all CRM web applications are BSP based with the exception of:
    - Internet Sales
    - IPC product configurator
    - Mobile Sales
If you have a business scenario in CRM that you are trying to provide through a web interface, I can tell you what a "typical" setup might be.
    Take care,
    Stephen

  • Who logs into my web page?

Is there a way for me to see who logs into my iWeb page?

    Try statcounter: http://www.statcounter.com/

  • Trying to log into a web site i could yesterday. will nt recognize password. it works on internet explorer and my ipad

web site is stampworld.com firefox saved an incorrect username and would not let me change it.. i went into password under tools and deleted the entry for this web site.. it no longer autoenters the wrong id or autoenters a pass word but still does not let me log on.. I use the correct id and when i enter the password and click log in the page flickers and the password field clears but will not log me in. id and password works perfectly on internet explorer and my ipad.

When you have a problem with one particular site, a good "first thing to try" is clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved cookies for the site.
    (1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
    (2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
    * right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
    * Alt+t (open the classic Tools menu) > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page and logging in again. Does that help?

  • How to embed URL (Longer than 60 Chars) into CRM-Web UI

    Hello
i would like to have a textfield with an URL embeded into the Incident UI
So far i managed to create the Char-Field and fill it with the URL
Unfortunately the generated Fields are limited to 60 Chars, but i need 100 for the URL with all parameters to work.
At the Moment the URL is truncated to 60 chars which leaves the link unfunctional
    Any Ideas would be appreciated.
    Kind regards
    Rolf

    Hi Rolf,
I build a simple URL shortener in our system similar to ABAP URL shortener
The concept is quite easy. You store the source URL in a table and use a unique short-id instead. In my case I use function GENERAL_GET_RANDOM_PWD to generate the id for a given length (e.g. aBcD3). In addition, I created an ICF node 'ID' with a handler class that passes the short URL (e.g. http://mycompany/id/aBcD3) to the corresponding long URL, which can be internal or external.
The other option is to split the URL path into string_table and store the last entry, like:
    lv_path = server->request->get_header_field( '~path_translated' ).
      IF NOT lv_path IS INITIAL.
        SPLIT lv_path AT '=' INTO TABLE lt_path.
        DESCRIBE TABLE lt_path LINES lv_lines.
        READ TABLE lt_path INTO ls_path INDEX lv_lines.
        lv_guid = ls_path.
      ENDIF.

  • Web Interface using DI API to log on

    Hi
I have created a website that uses DI API in order to allow the user's to use their B1 username and password in order to use the website. The problem that I am getting is that once a user is logged in they seem to stop logged in to the DI API even once I have run the code oCompany.Disconnect, which I thought would disconnect them from the session, however if I go into the licence administration screen in B1 the user's that have logged into the web interface are grey instead of black meaning their licensing information cannot be modified, which indicates they are currently logged in.
What do I need to do in order to terminate the user's session?
I also think this problem is causing a "Server Threw an Exception" error thats gets thrown up once in a while when users attempt to log in to the web interface, as there is a set limit to the number of sessions a user can simultaneously have open.
    Cheers

    Dear Steven Tryner,
Could you solve the issue by restart the license service?

  • Procurve 2910al Web interface authentication using Radius

I have a Procurve 2910al switch and I'm trying to use our radius server to authenticate when we access the web interface. Currently, I have am able to authenticate from our radius server using ssh so I know our radius server works. However, when I log into the web interface, it logs me in as an operation and not an admin. I have the following commands enabled: radius-server host x.x.x.xradius-server timeout 2aaa authentication ssh login radius localaaa authentication ssh enable radius localaaa authentication web login radius localaaa authentication web enable radius localno web-managementweb-management ssl what am I missing?  I'm on W.15.14.0012 ROM 14.06 Thanks,Jasper

Using the Web Authentication feature on a Cisco wireless LAN controller, we can authenticate a guest user on the wireless LAN controller, on an external web server or on an external database on a RADIUS server. We can configure the wireless LAN used for guest traffic to authenticate the user from an external RADIUS server.
To enable an external RADIUS server to authenticate traffic using the GUI, follow this link.

  • Pre populating the database field when a user logs into web forms

    Hi,
When my users log into the web forms application I want the database name field to be pre populated, how do I do this, I presume it can be defined in the config files ?
    Thanks in anticipation.
    SDG.

    Hi,
I think u are refering to the username, password, database field (connect string)
here. If this is the case then you can use LOGON(username, password||'@'||connectstring) procedure and hardcode the connect string.

  • After a while, WRT54G won't allow me into web interface anymore.

I can get into the web interface shortly after powering on the router. But after several hours, or days, I no longer can access it. The internet and network continue to work, I just can't access the settings page (I get something like "page cannot be displayed" in all browsers).
If I unplug the router and plug it back in, I can get into the settings page again.
What might cause this? Would it be fixed if I upgrade the firmware?

Hi. I think people are misunderstanding my issue. That'smy fault, as I didn't report the error accurately. The error is actually an "Empty server response", not a 404 page not found. So it's talking to the router, but getting nothing back.
I understand wired connections are not subject to interference, the way wireless ones are.
However a wired connection for this PC is not feasible without bashing holes in the wall,
and anyway I can see no reason why I can't do this wirelessly (even if there's some risk of interference).
Some people seem to be implying this is "By design" and you're expected to access the settings page only via a wire, and it's perfectly normal to require a reboot before being allowed into it. I don't buy that. I've used other routers where I can access the settings wirelessly every time, even if it hasn't been rebooted in a long time.
What I'm getting at is this: the current issue has nothing to do with interference, if it were interference then I could get on after several attempts. Or if the interference is so strong that I can't connect even after trying for hours... then a simple reboot would not fix it. But a reboot does fix it, which tells me the router seems to be holding on to some info or setting that prevents my PC from accessing it. When I reboot, it loses or changes that info/setting. I'm just curious what it might be.
If the bottom line is "your router is old and sucks, replace it" then I can certainly just do that. I'd just like to know that the new one will not have this problem.

  • Connect to Bex query after logging into Web service

    Hello experts,
After logging into the web service, I see connections for all HANA and BW infoProviders.
If I click HANA OLAP connection, I see the "next" button. If I click connections to BW InfoProviders, the "Next" button is grayed out, I only have "OK" to click which takes me to the infoProvider.
I know if I choose "Local System", I can log into BW and find BEx queries.
Is this by design? Can't we get list of Bex queries under the connection we highlight somehow?
    Thanks.

Hi Terry - I am not really following this workflow (could be just me)
Did someone create OLAP connections to BW in the CMC?  Could you use the camera icon to share your screen shots?
