Rotuine for Region for Group of Sales office
Hello ,
I have a requirement to show the Region and Sales office in the ODS Order: Condition Data 0SD_O05 .
From the Communication Structure of 2LIS_11_VAKON we are getting the Sales Office codes values.
My requirment is to add a Region into the ODS 0SD_O05 and then populate its value for example
WR ( West ) when the sales offices are 216 to 260.
So I have added infoobject ZREGION into the ODS
and now want to write a routine on it in Update Rules of 2LIS_11_VAKON of ODS 0SD_O05.
Note that for 0SALES_OFF there is only Text Table and do not have any attributes.
Could anyone provide me a sample code for it.

Hardcodeing stuff like this is short term and prone to problems when offices move or change locations - have your architects thought about using a BW manual hierarchy on Sales Office - groupign them into "Regions"?
Then you dont need to have any code

I feel the table which you have given is the right table but in my scenario we have created sales office and sales group(in org structure) independently in CRM, so now we need to find these values from the table independently as well as with relation to BP the table which you have provided can be used for second scenario but if we want to fetch the values of all sales office and sales group which table i have to use.
One more problem for second scenario is in BP we cant able to see the sales ofice & group values which we defined in CRM, if we can save BP with sales office and group values then only we can use the table which you have given

How to restrict sales group and sales office in va01?
in transaction "va01" ,I want to restrict "sales group" and "sales office", but there is no
relative authorization object. I create a role named "z1000test001" with va01 , there are only "division","sales organization"
and "distribution channel" which could be restricted.
the authorization object with va01 is : V_VBAK_VKO.
and I find another authorization:V_VBKA_VKO ,which contains:"sales group" and "sales office",
but this one seems have no relationship with va01.
Is there any method to restrict "sales group" and "sales office" in va01?

FM to simulate the org model determination - sales group and sales office

I am looking for a FM to get the organization profile details which on sales order Organization tab.
I want to pass BP# and order type as input and get the sales group, sales office.
I tried using 'CRM_ORDER_MAINTAIN'' but with no luck. (May be I am not using it correctly )

U can Simulate in the orgdata rule itself from the following path mentioned below--
SproCRM-Master Data-Organizational Management----Organizational Determination-
Change rules and profiles.
Enter the Rule -ORGMAN_14 and click on display-
Click on simulate rule resolution icon next to Change icon
mention the Partner number and click on execute test icon or F8. You will get the list of sales office and
sales groups. you will also get the FM details in the rule itself. Revert me for any other clarifications.

Company need's to set targets based on Sales Office wise/Sales group Wise/Sales Person wise. Later on company will check target Sales, Planned Sales, Achieved Sales. So how can we achieve in Sales and distribution module wise.

For that he will give list of materials to achieve this target and quantities and tentative dates also for which materials he needs. So that my company will do proper planning for production also to supply these materials timely. for this Company needs to analyse what is the given target and acheved target and what are all the materials are sold with respect to quantity. what materials are not sold means dead stock. So that how can we solve this solution in SAP.

Copy control for sale office in delivery

In our delivery note the field sale office is blank... we need that this field will be filled by copy control or user exit from document sale (order sale)... always the deliveries are for the same sales office.
Any clues for achiving this?

As mentioned in the above answer, please follow the following steps.
1. Got VOFM - > Data Transfer -> Deliveries.
2. Copy Routine 1 to 601.
3. Go in the code of routine 601 and add the following line.
MOVE CVBAK-VKBUR TO LIKP-VKBUR.
4. Activate the routine.
5. Go to copy control for deliveries Tcode - VTLA.
6. Select the necessary combination of order type and delivery type.
7. change the assignment of routine for header data to 601 and save.
you shud be abe to achieve the desired result.

We have a unique requirement for taxation in Canada. The constraints/requirements are:
1. For all customer located in the province Quebec (KNA1-REGIO = QC), if:
(a) the Sales Office on customer master (KNVV-VKBUR) not equal to QC (Quebec - user defined) and material group (MARA-MATKL) = 'X' or 'Y', we need the GST and QST to be charged
(b) for all other material groups, if the Sales Office on customer master (KNVV-VKBUR) not equal to QC (Quebec - user defined) we need only the GST to be charged (not QST)
How can this be achieved? We can explore the use of any other field too, apart from KNVV-VKBUR if it helps or even some kind of indicator on the customer master...
Appreciate any clues...can the material pricing group be of any use here? If so, how?

However, in the requirement, I see an issue - since the taxes are determined on the basis of the ship to party (and we do have customers with out of QC but with their ship tos in QC and vice versa), the partner determination at the time of applying the pricing (i..e. VA01) has not yet taken place - not stored in any table...how do I get the system to understand the REGIO from the address data for the P. fn = WE (or SH)? How will the requirement get triggered if the system can't determine what the REGIO is? We need it to be applicable only if the REGIO is QC, not for others. Sales office and the material group are not a problem to ascertain. The REGIO is not stored in VBAK or VBAP and the VBPA entries are not yet done (at the time of VA01)...I can think of getting it only from KNA1 but am not sure how to.....any ideas?

Sales office and sales group in STO scenario
We need to populate the sales group and sales office in intercompany billing originating from a STO (PO>STOdelivery>IV invoice). However, the sales office and sales group is blank despite both the customer masters of both plant customer (shipto) and Intercompany Payer (ininvoice) containing this. Wanted to understand any configaration settings for these or Userexit is the only option

Assignment of single Sales group to multiple Sales offices not possible
Hi all,
We need to assign single sales group to multiple sales offices in CRM. When we try to assign a Sales group to more than one Sales office the first assignment between Sales group and Sales office is removed. Only the new assignment is available.
Instead of having two assignments I still only get one.
First I transfered the ECC organization as Standard backend integration. When I realize I needed multiple backend assignment I ran the Conversion to multiple assignments. However, I am not able to realize multiple assignments.
Is it not possible to realize multiple assignment if you first transfered the ECC organization as standard (single) assignment?
Please let me know how to overcome this problem.

Starting CRM 4.0 multiple hierarchy with this enhanced org data model
works the following way:
- 1 R/3 org data mapped to ONLY 1 CRM org unit.
- multiple hierarchy (1 sales office assigned to several sales org,
1 sales group assigned to several sales office) is managed in the detail
of the org unit with tab Function and with sub tab sales office
and sales group.
For example if you have following R/3 org structure:
Sales org SOr1
_ Sales office Sof1
_ Sales Group Sg1
_ Sales office Sof2
_ Sales Group Sg1
Sales org SOr2
_ Sales office Sof1
In PPOMA_CRM you have to do the following:
For the R3 mapping :
Sor1 mapped to org unit 50000001
Sor2 mapped to org unit 50000002
Sof1 mapped to org unit 50000003
Sof2 mapped to org unit 50000004
Sg1 mapped tp org unit 50000005
And for the multiple assignment
- For sales org 50000001 and 50000002 you just have to maintain in tab
function, sub tab Sales org the Distribution channel division values
- For sales office 50000003 in sub tab Sales office the assignment to
sales org Sor1 and Sor2
- For sales office 50000004 in sub tab Sales office the assignment to
sales org Sor1
- For sales group 50000005 in sub tab sales group the assignment to
sales office Sof1 and Sof2.
If you have different division distribution channel on sales office sale
group compared to the sales org you can maintain manually the values.
Or if is it always the same values you can use * value for distribution
channel division (in that case please read carefully notes
691015 and 735020 if needed)
In addition regarding report CRMC_R3_ORG_GENERATE I would like to
clarify that this report can only be used for initial download, as
written in the customzing documentation of this report (spro-CRM -
master data - org management - data transfer - Copy SAP R/3 sales
structure ) it can only be executed once and so following org
modifications have to be done manually in PPOMA_CRM.
So for this report the correct way to use it is to create all the R/3
org data in 1 shot.
If only 1 R/3 org data is already mapped to a CRM org unit in ppoma_Crm
you will have red light and so it will be impossible to create all
dependent org data.

Check in Opportunity the sales org. u have used. Then go to path: SPRO-> CRM-> Master Data-> Org. Mgmt-> Assignment of Org. units from SAP ECC.
In this node, check the corresponding sales group you are using in ECC and then go to ECC and map the sales office and sales group.
If you dont want to use sales group or sales office then go to tx. PPOMA_CRM in CRM. Select the org. which you are using, then click on Function tab, select Sales radio button and delete the assignment for R/3 sales office and sales group and uncheck them as well.

Customers, Sales Orders Restrictions based on Sales Office and Sales Groups

We have a typical scenario for one of our customers. They are SAP ERP, ECC 6.0.
They have sales employees/managers assigned to customers. In order to maintain the link between the sales employees and the customers, their earlier implementation partner followed the following method for the linkage.
Each sales employee and each sales managers are given a SAP User ID like 101, 012, 103 etc.. Sales groups OR Sales offices are also maintained with the same numbers/IDs. At the customer master level, each customer's sales group is given the sales employee ID (which is same as that of the sales group). The example is as follows.
Customer No. Sales Group Sales Office
CU1 101 108
CU2 101 108
CU3 102 108
CU4 103 109
CU5 104 110
The sales group names and the sales offices names are given the same names as that of the user IDs of the sales employees/sales managers. In the above example, the sales employee 101 (sales group 101) is assigned to customers CU1, CU2. The sales manager 108 (Sales office 108) is managing the sales employees 101 and 102.
Now the customer has some authorization issues. He wants us to provide authorizatinos in such a way that -
if the sales employee 101 logs on to the system he should be able to Display the CUSTOMERS and the Sales Orders (XD03, VD03, VA03) that are assinged only to him (In other words with the sales group 101) and similarly for other sales employees.
if the sales manager 108 logs on to the system he should be able to display the customers and the sales orders that are assigned to his sales employees (101, 102). In other words with the sales office as the manager's ID 108.
I tried to use the authorization object V_VBKA_VKO but this doesnt see to be serving the purpose as this object is not being checked at all in any of the above VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
Similarly I did not find any other authorization object which makes use of Sales group field and Sales office field which also has a linkage to VA03, XD03 and VD03 transactions.
The customer is evaluating our contract with them based on this solution.

You will find both sales group and sales office.
If you inside these option you can change the description of the sales group and sales office.
To create the new sales office or sales group just click on the new entry and make the new setting.
After creating the new sales office and sales group you need to assign these to the proper sales area.
That you can do it in IMG u2013 Enterprise structure u2013 assignment u2013 SD u2013 assign sales office to sales area.
And you can also assign your sales group to sales office.
Do this setting and now create the sales order.
For removing it first you have to remove the assignment of the sales office(path is given above).
Then delete it by going to the definition of the sales office (path is given above).

Standard SAP does not allow sales office and sales group information to flow between documents. Say, quotation to order.
I'm not able to understand the reason for this, can someone explain pleaseHi ,
The reason for not coping the sales group and sale office from preceding document to subsequent is to avoid the errors in MIS reporting for sales and billing.For example inquiry has received from sales org.A ,then company will send the quotation to A from different sales office and after that company A might be having different sales offices and sales groups in that sales area.Due to this ,again system will expect the entries from user who is creating the order.

I have a small issue, Whenever I am creating a sales order, the sales office and Sales group of Sold-to-party will be copied which is standard functionality. The requirement is to copy the Sales office and sales group of Ship-to-party assigned to the sales order.
According to our design there are more than a single ship-to-party to a sold-to-party and only Ship-to-parties have the sales group and sales office filled and those fields are empty in Sold-to-party.
