Rule error in workflow

Hi,
I am new to workflow. I am trying to build a test workflow in which at a user decision step if the initiator does not takes a decision after 5 mins then this user decision request should pass to initiator's manager if exist or to super admin..
Right now i have created a user decision where in i have 2 options Approve & Reject and then a 3rd option is modeled action which will be called if the initiator does not respond for 5 minutes. In this modeled step I have again made a user decision step and I am calling a rule in which I have created a Z FM which will find the manager w.r.t. the initiator's user id.
As an input parameter in this binding of this rule I have passed initiator's value to this userid field which will fill the actor's tab table with the manager value.
Now, while executing this workflow i am getting a error when it comes to this rule. It says error in process_node then error while creating some methods ...
In simulation my rule is working..

I have simulated and its returning the agents. Also I am passing the Otype = US along with the User Id and that check "Terminate if Rule Resolution has no Result" is also set.
What I am dong is that I am passing the initiator's user id and on that basis I am finding its manager user id. So in my binding I am assigning the value of initiator to this variable user id in my FM which will fetch its manager id and append table ACTOR_TAB. Below mentioned is the processing of that whole node and the error start from line that says "Result Processing" till the end.

also check if the WF-USER is a Service user and not dialog user.

Error handling workflow not getting triggered

Hi all,
I'm creating a outbound IDoc. And for error handling workflow.. I created a organization structure in PPOME and assigned users. I gave this position number thus created in the partner profile in post processing permitted agent tab.
But when the Idoc is in error, this is not coming to my inbox.
Can someone please help me with this.. and let me know what went wrong.

Here you need to be careful,
if the agent assignment is not maintained properly, there may be a chance everyone in the organization will get the item.
I hope you have created a single workitem for error handling. goto additional data-> agent assignment-> maintain. make sure the attribute is defined as general forwarding allowed. or you maintain the role/position/user/whatever.as the possible agents. still you dont get the result, debugging the default rule in the task ->default rule -> agent.

Refer to your workflow system administrator.

Run report HRALXSYNC and you will solve this.
We have faced this issue many times and the solution we have applied is
1. This issue occurs on a step that is dialog where some agent needs to either approver or reject.
2. You should check the rule (Agent determination rule in that step).
Run that rule with the workflow data (use scenario with which you are getting error).
Run the rule individually and check if you are getting right result.
this error most of the time id due to the fact that the rule is not be able to determine next processor of the workitem.
Error 9 when calling service SO_OBJECT_SEND SWF_RUN535
to assure you can hardcode the user for test in the rule and run the workflow as that is the most effective analysis that will help you determine the cause.
I have never seen this error on a background step unless there is a mail step involved.
You need to run the report HRALXSYNC to synchronize HR objects which will surely solve this issue.

Error in workflow while linking goods receipt document with parked invoice

Hi All,
I parked document using Tcode MIRO, when WF has been executed and goods receipt document has been created.At the time that we tried to link this goods receipt to parked invoice document in the workflow,The problem happens with work item saying the status as Error. See the below error.

Can you find any errors in the database log file?

Import rules, error message "Invalid system"

Hi,
When importing rules under Rule Architect - Import rules, error message "VBS is invalid system" . In the configuration tab we have system and System Name defined as VBS, test connection successful.
Why is it giving an error message VBS is invalid system? Please advise.

Hi,
Is it rule import after taking an export from other system? In that case, make sure destination system name doesn't contain any space in it.
Also, make sure text and auth Objects are uploaded for VBS system before doing rules import.

Error in Workflow JTFTASK

Hi,
Ours is 11.5.10.2 version. Once we login to Oracle applications, above of responsibility list. we see some messages like
"Error in Workflow JTFTASK /20991-10881 3205: 'AASTML' is not a valid role or user name. ".
From where it's generating these type of messages and how to get rid of them.
Please help me.

Do you have this profile enabled as Yes at either Site or user level?

Change the value to No and test. Looks like one of the workflows (JTFTASK) that are sending this notifications has errored.

The thing is that I transferred the databases from a Prod.Env. to the Test Env. and from that moment on the Test Env. stopped working (only workflows), then I
was thinking that maybe the workflow is not working in the Test Environment because when I transferred the databases from Prod Env to Test Env I didn’t transfer the databases related to workflow, I only transferred:
WSS_Content
PWA_ServiceDB
But I didn’t transfer:
SBGatewayDatabase
SBManagementDB
SBMessageContainer01
WFInstanceManagementDB
WFManagementDB
WFResourceManagementDB
I didn’t transfer them because, before, when I transferred DB’s in version 2010, these DB’s were not needed, as the workflows were done using another method.
So, I tried to create a new workflow in the Test Env. but there is no way, I always get that error.
I've tried to Register again the workflow, and the result looks ok, but it doesn't solve the problem:
Register-SPWorkflowService
–SPSite "http://whatever/PWA"
–WorkflowHostUri "http://TestServer:12291"
–AllowOAuthHttp -Force
Do you know how to solve this issue or have an idea to give me some light?

Looks like you haven't defined the WF scope or the site where you are trying to deploy the workflow to isn't included in the scope

Error in Workflow for Parked Document (FV60)

Hi Workflow Experts,
I have a FI document parking Workflow scenario which is 3 level release that is if the amount is upto 10000 first person will release if it's more than that upto 20000 then second user has to release ,if more than that then third user will post.
For this i have activated the main workflow WS10000051 and for two level release i have activated the sub workflows WS10000052 for first level release and WS10000053 for secondlevel release and WS10000054 for thirdlevel release.
I have also done the Release strategy configuration in SPRO such as
in the following SPRO steps
1) Create Workflow Variant for Parking Document
2) Define Entry Screens for Parking Document
3) Assign Compaany Code to a Workflow variant for Parking Documents
4) Define Release Approval Groups for Parking Documents
5) Define Release Approval Path for Parking Doc
6) Assign Release Approval Path for Parking Documents
7) Assign Release Approval Procedure for Parking Doc
8) Define Users with Release Authorization for Parking Document. ( I have assigned the Position of CEO created in HR to this)
Now when the document is parked it throws the error
Error in workflow Customizing for document parking (tranasction OBWE) and it stops in the step Determining Sub Workflow.
Has anyone come across this issue.Please guide me in resolving in this issue, i am not able to identify whether this error is happening in workflow or due to some missed entries in SPRO settings of FI.
So please provide me how to do settings in SPRO For Parking, mainly in Tcode OBWE.

Hope you 've gone thru this link already, if not, pl. go thru the above link. Also, give us more details on the error you see on the wflow log, like you are not getting any wflow template ID in the cont.element "&ACTIVITY_000043_TASK&", This should have either WS10000052, 53 or 54 depending on the Amt. level. See if you are getting any value here. If not, then there is somethign wrong in your OBWE settings.
Also, sometimes, even though this step of "Determe Subworkflow" step works fine, if there is no proper agent assignment, then also, it cannot create work item for next step of Sub wflow and hence will error out.
Pl .check the above. May be a detailed error message from wflow log would help us out in suggesting better.

Error "Approval workflow fragment has no user assignment"

Hi all,
We are implementing the workflow for n level approval of SC WS14000133.Now when we try to add adhoc approvers by clicking on the ADD APPROVER button,we get the foll error:
"Approval workflow fragment has no user assignment".
I have already referred similar threads on SDN and also the corresponding notes including this one,Error "Approval workflow fragment has no user assignment".The latest note for this error applies for SP08 while we are on SRM server 5.5(SP11).
Has anybody faced a similar issue before?Any inputs will be appreciated.

Net bridge design rule errors

Multisim 10.1.197 and Ultiboard 10.1.197
I could not get a net bridge to work in a Ultiboard layout, so I tried in a simplified circuit:
In Multisim, place a connector with several pins, for example HDR1X10.
Place a DGND and GROUND. Connect the first to pin 1. Connect the second to pin 5.
Transfer to Ultiboard
Rotate HDR1X10 so the pins numbers increment left to right
Place traces on the top layer so the pads of a net bridge connects one trace to another
Place a net bridge, picking GND and 0 (also tried 0 and GND)
This gives Design Rule Errors:
   Unused pin is connected to NET = GND
   Unused pin is connected to NET = 0

I am having the same problems. This is a very important feature that needs to work since there is no proper work around. This is always the case when there are ananlog and digital grounds that need to be kept separate, but also need to be connected somwhere in a very controlled fashion. I've followed the instructions exactly but what I get is a net bridge with no nets assigned to it's terminals. You can connect it up but you get the DRC errors as stated earlier.
This can be manually fixed by going into the netlist editor and selection each of the nets to be connected and adding on pin from the net bridge to each (NB1, pin _). This removes the DRC error and everything is happy.
The only problem is when you forward annotate again you lose the NB pin assignments and you have to edit the netlist again.
I tried a part in MS with the net bridge as the footprint, but UB will not impor the net bridge when you do that. To get around that I have a 'netconnect' part with just two dots and a silkscreen box around it. This can be placed where you want the bridge and will import each time. This is just a marker wheer you want the bridge to be. You still have to place the bridge manually and edit the netlist to fix the DRC error.
This is a bug. I should be able to assign the netbridge as the footprint of an MS symbol and have it come in with the right netlist connections when I forward annotate.   Alternatively, the netbridge assignments should be made to stick when the netlist is imported again.
