I am probably missing something pretty simple but can someone tell me why this is not working?
Whileprintingrecords;
numbervar carryover;
if (="C") and (=Date(2006/03/31)) then carryover:=carryover+1;

This formula is in the detail section. I have another formula in the footer section to display the total
whilerprintingrecords;numbervar carryover;
The detail forumla runs, but returns a value of 0.
I know for a fact there are two records that meet both criteria. Here is an example of one:
ID Flag Date hours
1234 C 2006/03/31 7.5
I'll explain the why for this... in the report I need to calculate the number of incidents for the last firscal year. For this report the FY ends on March 30 so if there is an incident that is a continuation ("C") from the previous FY, I need to subtract it from the total....

Running Totals, formula statement works one way, not the other

Here is the problem in a nutshell...
I am designing a report where I am using 2 running totals based on whether a SQL Stored Proc dataset field (text) is Null or Not Null... So I design the 2 running totals and put this code in each "Evaluate"
IsNull({usp_rpt_RemediationData;1.Action})
- and -
NOT IsNull({usp_rpt_RemediationData;1.Action})
The FIRST one works. The SECOND one does not - that is, it does not add a count for it.
In other words, I am just cycling through a table and counting 1 field, checking whether its Null, or not.
Why doesnt this rather simple and straight forward thing work!!!!????
Any help would be most appreciated.

The statement...
NOT IsNull({usp_rpt_RemediationData;1.Action})
DID NOT work when used as part of a running total - even adding the check for blank instead of just null (though the field is truly null).
However, using the EXACT same statement in a formula written for running totals - it does work...? Go figure... I cant explain it.

FORMULA=USING/TOTAL IS NOT WORKING IN BPC NW.

Here in this Total is not working. The final result same as USING combinational value. The formula is working for USING combination like FORMULA=USING/100,USING*100....,

   Please find the below Allocation logic. Here in this case also getting the same out put. The whare combinational value same as using. Agent (10.2.0.5.0) on OEL is running, upload is not working

I am installing boot/stage server for provisioning on Oracle Enterprise Linux, so I need to install Management Agent.
Agent is installed and running. But upload XML files is not working (last successful heartbeat to OMS: unknown).

Running Total does not reset when group changes

I have a manual running total for group3 that does not reset for group2
Group2 Header (Order Status 3=Open,4=Closed)
WhilePrintingRecords;
currencyVar WIP=0;
Group3 footer (Order Number)
WhilePrintingRecords;
currencyVar WIP;
WIP := WIP + {@NETWIP}
Group2 footer
WhilePrintingRecords;
currencyVar WIP;
There are no Repeat Group header on any of the groups
Will add Group1 total when this part works.

I am not sure if you made a typo when making your post but you are missing a colon when resetting your variable
change from this
currencyVar WIP=0;
to this
currencyVar WIP:=0;

Totale Rosetta not working on iMac

I recently purchased Totale Rosetta for Italian which is not working for me. The initial video window has no video in it. When I select any of the available menu options (Headset Setup, Users Guide, Rosetta Stone Total E Videos, etc.), I get blank white windows with no content. Plus, the acess is incredibly slow. I have no problems with any other applications on my desktop, which is an IMac, OS X Lion Version 10.7.5 with 16GB Memory. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance!

Well, yes, I know that Quicken is not a Universal binary (that is unfortunate). But by all accounts and articles the application should run under Rosetta, yes? (Even says so in that Macworld article.)
That's the actual problem I'm having -- The installer will not run. Nor will the program itself. I don't have any other PowerPC apps on the machine to try them out and check if others are working but I'd assume they're not.

Assuming that it's an app, have you tried closing the app on your iPad / iPhone / iPod Touch via the taskbar and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Rooftop Run app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
A third option if the above 2 don't work is to try deleting the app and re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app on your device

Double-tapping to switch between or clear running apps is not working with iPhone 4s.

when I double tap to close out or switch between running functions, it does nothing ever since yesterday. I have the most current update since last week and the home button works for all other purposes so it's not broken. Now my battery is draining because I cannot shut off running apps. Please help!

Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you’re running into a multitasking issue that’s preventing you from switching between apps or forcing them to quit. Try restarting your iPhone, as shown in the article linked below.
Restart or reset your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
If that doesn’t do it, you can always try restoring the iPhone to factory settings too.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

SQL 2008 Agent - run batch file not working

I am having some strange issues with a batch file running out of SQL agent I'm hoping I can get some help with.
The batch file's purpose is to send some log files to a SFTP server.
The job has been working great for the past 3 weeks, however this morning it stopped working. The job doesn't error out, however the entire job completes in 00:00:00 duration and I'm given the following message

I have numerous other batch jobs running on this server, no other job has had this issue. I have deleted and recreated both the job step and the entire job. I have recreated the batch files from scratch. I have also deleted the entire
contents of the batch file and just simply put in echo **** and still received the message so I'm near positive it has nothing to do with the actual batch file.
I have reset SQL Agent, as well rechecked that the SQL Agent account has run batch rights granted to it.
I moved the batch files to another folder, and they worked for about 4 runs until the same issue happened!!!
The job does execute 100% perfect if I run it manually via batch or if I kick it off starting the job out of SQL.
I am out of options here, does anyone have any ideas that could help me out?

Try to edit the step, and on the Advanced page of that step try to configure the job to create a log on the location you specify (Output file). Try to run the step again and examine the log created.
Could you try to change the owner of the job to “sa” or to your Windows account? Maybe the SQL Server Agent account does not have access
to the following folders:
G:\Batch\
C:\Program Files (x86)\WinSCP
Alternatively, you can try to create a proxy account.

Running totals are not resetting to zero

I have a commission report that runs these calcs and the rep group is not restting to zero and the same for the Invdate group.
Any suggestions?

Hi Alfredo,
First try this:
In design view, right click on the group where you placed the reset formula. Go to Change Group -> in the second tab, uncheck "Repeat Header On Each Page." Now, see the results.
If that doesn't work. Try placing the reset formula in another group header. My guess is you might not be placing it in the correct group.

Kerberos running, but SSO not working??

hey all
so - relativley new to OSX Server but am loving it thus far.
I am trying to get SSO to work but am having huge issues. Kerberos IS running according to Sever Admin but users are not able to use any of the SSO functions. When i run klist on users stations i receive the following message:
Kerberos 5 ticket cache: 'API:Initial default ccache'

03/03/10 09:09:22 03/03/10 19:09:17 krbtgt/[email protected]
renew until 03/10/10 09:09:22
which means there IS a Kerberos ticket but i does not seem to be picking up any other ticket - ie for AFP or the RADIUS
am i missing an obvious step? do i need to set up each service to speak Kerberos?
could someone point me in the right direction

RADIUS doesn't use Kerberos, so that's not expected to work. For AFP, there are a couple of easy things to check:
1) Make sure AFP has Kerberos authentication enabled: In Server Admin -> AFP service -> Settings -> Access -> Authentication pop-up, make sure either "Kerberos" or "Any Method" is selected.
2) Make sure AFP is using the right service principal: in Terminal on the server, run "defaults read /Library/Preferences/com.apple.AppleFileServer kerberosPrincipal". The reply should be "afpserver/[email protected]" (assuming directory.ourcompany.com is both the file server and Open Directory domain master). If it's wrong, you can fix it by stopping the AFP service, running "sudo "defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.AppleFileServer kerberosPrincipal afpserver/[email protected]", then restarting AFP.

Run Script action not working when verifying bundle

I have a critical "Run Script" action in a bundle. When verifying the bundle, the script doesn't seem to run and the verify action hangs indefinitely.
I see the following lines in the ZCM Log:

nothing else is logged after those 2 lines. It seems like ZCM decides not to run the script for some reason, but is still waiting for it to complete? Or is it possible that it has moved onto the next action, but it is hanging there and not reporting it to the log?
I have no time to troubleshoot right now, will do so in depth tomorrow. Just wanted to get this posted in case anybody has a clue.

Nevermind, the next action is running, and that is what is hanging, which I doubt is Zenworks fault... Time for some more troubleshooting.

Run At:Server not working

I have written a simple script on a form field : this.rawValue = "sample data" which is not workin at server.
Any idea what's wrong?

Totally Unlimted not working

Please can anyone new or has re-contracted to this new service help me confirm a few things.
I re-contracted from infinity option 2 which I have had since launch, so the only really difference is that I will not be traffic shaped anymore.
Well unfortunately that is not the case as far as the tests I have done.
I have been on a round trip to India, tech expert and all I have gone through is pure hell as none of them can help and don’t seem to understand the problem.
So here is what I have done so far to see if I am traffic shaped.
Downloaded the same P2P file at 3pm & 5pm, 3pm is over 1MB is speed and 5pm is about 1.2Kbs a massive difference but that was always the case on the old Infinity Option 2.
Glasnost test at 3pm states downloads are not rated but uploads are.
Glasnost test at 5pm states downloads and uploads are rated.
I had confirmation on 5th Feb 2012 that I was active on new product and five days have passed.
BT India state that my line is currently going through the 10 day stabilisation period and the traffic shaping will remove after that.
I see from some people on this forum that they have the restrictions removed already.
Also since re-contracting My BT account indicates I have no products, phone or broadband as in picture below.
For a large organisation the customer service is really terrible.

Quite a few people are having issues with MyBT at the moment, but I expect that eventually all the new packages will show up.
