Sales Forcasting in SD

Hi,
I want to know whether i can maintain Sales Forcasting Details through SD Module.
That mean: Sales Targets, what is the status of a client (Customer) sales, the progress of the above sale, like wise.

Hi,
In material master forecasting view, you can maintain the historical data and you can forecast your future requirements using the trends and the forecast models.

    i also want to be able to put  my propose selling  price, while thruogh the BOM i should be able to know my COGS for the total sales forcast given.
    The essence is that we want to know our likely gain at the end of the year if some much of qty of stock is sold
    Pls how can i achieve this in sap.

    this is to inform you that,
    your issue can be divided into two parts:
    one deals with PP - SOP & the second deals with SD - LIS.
    then only both will get integrated to each other.

    A Sales order get a commitment on a Sales forcasting !
    But we need to set STO to make the same commitment!

    Hi,
    In standard SAP, you can achive this by changing the item category as TANN in the sales order, for which you do not require price.
    If your requirement does not allow to change the item category, do not maintain your pricing condition(PR00) as requred condition type in your pricing procedure. In the sales order where you do not require price make Condition rate as '0' for all the line items.
    or
    in the alternative calculation type in the pricing procedure, you need to control with the routine with the logic " if sales order is created with reference to the order type "ZZ" condition rate should be '0'. You can have a talk with your technical consultant if required.

    How we can calculate the safety stock at concerned. we have maintained , Coverage profiles. Dynamic Safety Stock. as i understand. may be this can be get . ( assuming coverage profiles is  30 days ).  Monthly sales forcast or stock requirment / 30.  ???

    I am a SD consultant. this time i need to just check the safety stock quanity. in my view. in this scenarious. From Coverage Profile ( Dynamic Safty Stock )
    ADR = Monthly sales forcast or stock requirment \ 30
    coverage profie = 11 days
    Safety Stock =  ADR * Coverae profile    
    Please help me above is right or something else is just for calculation of safety stock . ( Once agian we are doing this throgh   Coverage Profile  ).

  • Collected ATO Model & items with sales orders and forcast not in ASCP plan

    PTO/ATO/ATP challenged - need some help understanding this and how it should work or if it can work.
    On 11.5.10.2, a customer wants to see the ATO model and options in the ASCP plan
    when the ATO configuration item is not created in the Sales Order.
    Using the BOMN example below level 2 - ATO item and level 4 - Marketing Code (Forecast at this level)
    ALTIX-4700-PTO-Z level 1 PTO Model
    ALTIX-4700-ATO-Z level 2 ATO model
    --ALTIX4700-SYS-Z        level 3
    LST-IRU-Z level 4 Ordered item
    LST-4700-WC-Z level 4 Ordered item
    LST-IRU-WC-SRACK-Z level 4 Ordered item
    They are not seeing level 4 items in the plan even though they have Sales Order Demand and forecast at this level.
    They see the items in the collection workbench, but they are missing in the ASCP plan.
    Any ideas will be appreciated.

    In our company we get the calculated cost into our sales document with the following configuration:
    IMG: Plant maintenance and customer service / Maintenance and service processing / Basic settings / Quotation creation and billing / ODP4 - Assign conditions to sales document types
    With this configuration, we assign the calculated cost condition (EK02) to the corresponding sales document. The system sends the calculated costs from the order to the corresponding sales order created.

  • MRP Runs With Out Forcasting & With Miximum Level.

    Hi  All,
    I Have a One Finished goods Item Which is Marked as Inventory Item and Sales Item.
    My Inventory Management is Werehouse Level
    So This Item I have a In Stock Quantity is 40 at my werehouse Minimum Quantity is 50  and Maximum Quantity is 400 Both
    of  this minimum and Maximum Quantity will Put Manuly by me at Item Master.
    I Don't wnat to Use the Forcasting For Any Item.
    I Want to Run MRP For This Item at  Maximum Level
    If Item Goes down to minimum Inventory Level for Example: In stock Is 40 at that time I wnat to Run MRP 
    My Requirment is when I run MRP System Gives Recomandation to me a 360 Quantity
    Meanse  { Maximum Quentity-Instock=Recomandatin  } [ 400-40=360]
    Is It Possibal or any one have solution for this Requirment then Pl z send it to me.

    Hello Vikas - I doubt also that you will find an MRP system with that, however, here is something you might want to fool around with as a start to creating an alert message or daily SQL run...
    SELECT
    T0.[ItemCode],
    T0.[MinLevel],
    T0.[MaxLevel],
    T0.[OnHand],
    T0.[MaxLevel]-T0.[OnHand] AS 'Sugg Order'
    FROM OITM T0
    WHERE
    T0.[OnHand] <=  T0.[MinLevel]
    AND  T0.[MinLevel] <> 0
    At least this will give you a list of products you can look at until you can find something else.

  • Planning based on Six month sales

    Hi Frnds,
    Currently we are using Flexibe planning method where we enter the 4 months projection quanity and then run the mrp at the start of every month.
    Now my company needs a planning based on the last six months sales, where the system should automatically pick up the billing qty of the last months of the products and then on that basis Mrp run should take place.
    Is there any standard procedure available for this in sap???

    Please I would like your input on Packing of handling Units. My Client usually carry out a repackaging process on a daily basis. In this process, different packaging materials are used to repackage a commodity or materials. What I would like to know is, is it possible to initiate a packing process without a sales process initiating it.
    So that at the point of sales, all i would need do is sell the already commodity.

    Step2: based on PO . SO will be created.
    Step3: availability check takes places.
    Step4: based on availability check , the company now plan the order. either they have to manufacture or buy the material.
    step 5 : let takes manufacture the material .
                a. procure the rawmaterial.
                b. manufacture for finished goods
               c. Quality check.
               d. stock
              e.delivery
              f. billing
             g. release to accounting.
    Step6: let take buying the material , means if the company cannot manufacture the material , the same material they get from vendor.
    a. request for quotation.
    b.purchase requisation
    c.purchase order
    d.receive good ie goods receipt.
    f.invoice.
    g.stock - quality check
    h.delivery
    i.billing
    j.release to accounting,
    in the above process buying the material is MM process.
    and in manufacting the material pp will have demand forcasting , supply shopfloor etc

    I need to get a actual sales figures for a forcasting report, which is a customize report.
    I need the figures by material.
    From VBRP , I think it can be taken by calculating from the begining. But it will give me a performance issue in the report.
    I need to know is there any function or any faster way of getting the Actual sales figures by month, by material.

    I haven't seen any standard content for it, with my client, we actually developed the open order report from Item extractor and status extractor. And compare the created on date to the system data to see how long it has been opened for and put it in different buckets.
