The question is very wide. Different companies operate in different ways. Also a single Manufacturing Plant can have various cycles and processes. But if I generalize it then the typical production cycle consists of the following steps:
1. The requirements for the finished goods are calculated based on the forecasts, sales targets etc.
2. Then the detailed production plan is drwan as how to meet these requirements.
3. The production orders are created as per the production plan and released to the shop floor to carry out the production activities.
4. As per the Production Order the required components are withdrawn from the stores.
5. The production is carried out (and confirmed).
6. Then the Finished goods so produced are delivered to the stores.
This is the overall structure of process. There can be as many numbers of methods to do this.

I need to install a printer on my Macbook Pro. I downloaded and installed the driver from the manufacturer, Brother MFC 7820N. Then clicked the plus on add printer from System Preferences. I selected the printer I want to add as a nearby printer and the name and location populated.
The printer widget tells me it is looking for software to install. I already installed the software. Then I get an error saying it can't find software on the apple support server. When I try to select software to install, the dialog box is empty, so I can't select the software I downloaded.

I am using a 2011 MacBook Pro, running OS X 10.9.5. Have been using Acrobat 10.1.10, but got a pop-up notice from Adobe today, saying that it had been awhile since last logged on and my software was due for an update. However, after downloading the update Acrobat 11, the updater seems to be unable to FIND the file to update, so it asks me to select the file to update. When I found it, the file icon was grayed out, and wouldn't allow me to select it. Gave me a message for "Error 1001". I'm an experienced Mac user, but not a programmer, so I don't know what that means. When I tried to run the installer from the downloaded file, it stopped, saying "Installation Failed" due to encountering an error—which was NOT named or numbered—and that I should contact the manufacturer for assistance. Which I am ATTEMPTING to do, but it appears to be impossible to actually get direct help.
Suggestions, or better yet, direct answers, would be appreciated.Did you ever figure out the problem? "Contact Software Manufacturer"?? That sounds ominous... I've got the same issue and I'm pretty durn aggravated right about now....

Industrial Machinery Manufacturing scenario
Dear Sir,
We are in the business of manufacturing the Industrial Machinery as per customer specific requirement . The multilevel BOM for the machine comprise of almost 1000 differnt components / assemblies . Some of the components are bought-out and some are manufactured in-house .
We run the MRP on the basis of engineering BOM and this result into several planned orders getting generated .
The issue with our appraoch is that there are lot many Production Order getting generated and many of such production order require very small duration operation for producing their output components (eg a keyway cut in an input assigned forging) .
We think that instead of having so many production orders , there should be a better practice so that numbers of production orders gets reduced .
We seek the expert opinions from SAP Gurus as in such type of industry scenario what is the best procedure to be followed so that organization working becomes the efficient one .

Adobe photoshop elements 10 - printer install
Just downloaded free trial of Photoshop elements 10. When going to print it is asking me to install a printer. My printer is a Xerox Phaser. I have managed to print a couple of times from editing side of elements, so my printer is obviously installed, but now just keeps saying that I need to install a printer. Having looked on this forum it seems that this is a common problem with elements but no advice that is given on this seems to sort out the problem. I have previously had Adobe photoshop CS6 on the computer and had no problem whatsoever with printing. Help please
The only other suggestion is to check the print drivers. PSE10 will rely upon the latest printer drivers being installed. Some manufactures have web sites which enable you to run a scan to ensure you have the latest drivers. Apart from that I’m out of ideas, except to use the dedicated printer, or uninstall and re-install Photoshop Elements or print single images from the Editor. I can understand the frustrations because others have experienced similar problems where the printer works perfectly with all other application except Photoshop Elements.

Jave for mac os x 10.6 update 9 will not install
neither will itunes 10.6.3 I have tried to manually down load and install as well. It just give an error of "updates were unable to install contact software manufacture.
Reinstall the 10.6.8 v1.1 COMBO update and try Software Update again.

Unable to instal VOX USB 2.0 drivers in WINDOWS XP Prof. SP2

I am unable to instal drivers in Windows XP Prof. SP2 for VOX USB 2.0. When I instal drivers from manufacturer's CD, instalation tells me, that it cannot instal some update for XP SP1. But I have SP2, so it should be OK. Then, after computer restart, I connected VOX and windows could not recognize it and asked me for drivers. I tried to instal drivers manually from the cd, but windows always tells me, that it cannot find driver on CD. I tried to download latest drivers from MSI website, but I had the same problem with it. What should I do? I am unable to use the TV tuner

I have tried to connect VOX directly to USB port on motherboard and also to NEC USB pci card, but it did not work anyway.
I have disconnected all USB devices from the computer, except the mouse.
Windows is updated from MS Windowsupdate website. I use Windows XP SP2 firewall and Microsoft Antispyware beta and antivirus software (I have tried to turn them off during the TV VOX installation, but it did not help).
And I also use power supply for TV VOX. -

My client is in producing Perfumes (Process manufacturing- chemical Industry) and Production wants to know the cost of per unit manufactured in the plant/plants and explains this in form of the following points.
To arrive at manufacturing cost per unit we need to know
1) Per Unit cost of materials inclusive of transport (Raw & packaging material)
2) Conversion cost per unit which will include
a) Energy & other utilities expenses
b) Labor cost per unit (days wages of all in production / units produced)
c) Cost of quality--- including testing outside and chemicals used for testing in plant plus salary per day of people engaged in testing in q.c department.
d) Cost of administration-- employees engaged as well as office expenses like telephone,transport
Please consult me how to configure the above requirements in sap business one.

The first point is where would u like to capture these records if its at the time of production order the it is easy
u can create UDF for all related items u have mentioned and fill the value manually and then in the production order either u can write the value manually or u can run A FMS which will sum up all the value and also the value of BoM ITEMS and would reflect in the total field
or if u wana add it in teh sales order i.e u want to show it at the time of sales then u can add all the items in the freight setup

Installing boot camp in windows without the Mac OSX disc

I'm pretty sure I've found the answer already, but it just seems really strange so I'm going to ask just to make sure.
1. I have installed Windows 7 64-bit Pro by starting with the boot camp assistant utility in MAC OS X.
2. Everything seem to work fine in windows except the wifi, touch pad, web cam and video drivers. The video drivers were installed via the manufactures provided drivers. The other drivers I was unable to find or update via the windows automatic search.
3. I looked through Apples website and found updates 3.1 and 3.2 of boot camp, but no non-update software.
It seems that I will need the OS X disc to install the 3.0 version of boot camp.
But surely, since all I am looking for is drivers these can be download without the disc that came with my laptop. I mean, if I can't do it any other way then so be it, but I'm not at home right now and I'm bored so...Hope you went out and picked up 10.6.3 DVD for $29.
Now, when you are in Windows, copy it to disk so it is always there in the future, and back it up to flash card or something.
Sometimes you can find drivers but you need the motherboard set to enable the devices to begin with. -

Powermac(s) G5 will not install operating system(s).
I have read many posts, but no posts resolve this issue. With wiped or new hard drives, the operating system install dvd disk fails to install and hangs with a last line panic message repeatably mentioned by others and now me "We are hanging here..."
I have a quad core G5 with a wiped and new hard drive. When using a powermac G5 install of the manufactured time of the machine, the install hangs. The install is 10.4. What was on the hard drive before it was wiped was 10.5. I have tried several different disks all with same result. I have done all the obvious and previously failed thing: pulled the battery, reset PRAM, tried different hard drives, other dvd drives, etc. I read that Apple claims to many that the logic board or processors are bad and to throw out the units.
+*Here is the twist.*+ I have four of these units. Prior to wiping they hard drives, they all were in perfect working order. I have 16 more that have not had the hard drives wiped, and all behave exactly the same way when I try to install the operating system while booting off the DVD install disk. If I launch the install disk from the systems when the systems are happily running, they too fail with exactly the same message. I therefore doubt that hardware is at fault and that they all suddenly have bad logic boards, then good, then bad. Or that they are all breaking at the same time when every single one of them were working fine everyday.
I want to get the ones with the wiped drives up and running again. I don't want to put the systems from the unwiped ones on the wiped ones.
Interesting isn't it? Very I think. How much good hardware has been wasted by this issue?

I am new to macs. Had pcs.I tried to down load the 1.4 update for my 13 macpro.It didnt finsish said it wouldnt install, contact the manufacturer, what?. But now it says I cannot remove it, what? How can I get rid of it, why would I need it if it doesn't even install correctly? I am beginning to miss windows.

Scanning in both HP Officejet 7210 and Samsung printer - the document scans but no file is generated - any ideas how to fix this? (It worked fine before installing Mavericks)
PS: forgot to mention: if your printer is on your wifi network, you'll have to enter your wifi password on the printer to connect it to the network before Printers & Scanners will see it.
Sometimes a reset of the wifi system is needed too. A full set of directions would be:
Try:
uninstall all printer manufacturer apps and "utilities"
go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners > Print
control-click on your printer in the column on the left
select "Reset Printing System..." and "reset" in the dialog that follows
do a factory reset on your printer. You'll have to consult the printer manual for how.
power down everything: modem, router, computer, and printer
power up each item in turn in the same order: modem, router, computer, and printer. Let each power up completely before moving on to the next
enter your wifi password in your printer so it can connect to the network
go back to printers & scanners and it should see your printer and download a driver for it from Apple
resist the temptation to install any printer manufacturer apps in the future.
