SAPMEINT
Hi,
I'm currently trying to install the SAPMEINT component according to the documentation
{bold}Installation Guide SAP Manufacturing Execution 5.2{bold}
When I'm trying to open a link under SAP ME ERP Integration -> Administration, I'm getting the following 4 errors:
Error: "Application error occurred during the request processing."

In the NW log, I'm finding this messages, which are related to the pushing of the link.

Hello Andre,
I can see the note "1334061" ..anyways here is the information
1.If you are using SAP ME 5.2 ERP Integration, SAP MII 12.1 Support
Package 05 is required.
2. SAP EHP1 for NetWeaver CE 7.1 Support Package 004 Stack (12/2009)
is required with this Support Package for SAP ME 5.2. Before you
install this Support Package for SAP ME 5.2, you should upgrade
Usage Selection 'Java Application Server' to EHP1 for NetWeaver
CE 7.1 SP004.
3. Microsoft SQL Server 2005: Standard or Enterprise Edition
If you are using Microsoft SQL Server as your SAP ME 5.2 DBMS,
Microsoft SQL Server 2005 SP3 is required.
Please make sure the above requirements are installed.
Best regards,
Kumar

Information is lost after redeployment of SAPMEINT - which workaround?
Hello!
After redeployment of SAPMEINT I noticed that some information concerning the SAMEINT MII webservices gets lost.
I corrected this information manually afterwards - the information can be found in the old SAP ME 5.2 documentation
(pre SP05).
What I did was first undeploy of SAPMEINT and immediately afterwards a new deploy.
Was the undeploy step unnecessary and therefore this step caused this annoyance?
Or is it always necessary to re-run the SAPMEINT configuration wizard?
I know that it is this configuration wizard, which updates the information as part of its function.
This is the manual workaround:
1. Log on the SAP NW admkinistratior console
2. Goto Configuration Management / Infrastructure / Java System Properties / choose Applications tab
3. Search for application xappsmeintegration~ear
4. Change the following properties:
webservice.authenticationMechanismType = 1
webservice.Username = MESYS
webService.Password = <password of MESYS>
webservice.EndPointUrlPrefix = <URL to (MII hostname:port)/XMII/SOAPRunner>
Kr,
Erich LindHello,
thank your for the answer and clarification.
The have the benefit of the newest SAPMEINT version, this was deployed on the MII system.
In future the SAPMEINTCTC wizard will be executed after redeployment of SAPMEINT.

Post installation issues of SAPMEINT
Hi,
We have installed SAPMEINT as per the guide T066_CIG_SAPME_52_FINAL.pdf. We have executed the SAPMEINT standard interfaces and yet to execute the SAPMEINT high performance interfaces.
We are facing the following issues
1) SAPMEINT_SQL jdbc driver in Unknown status.
2) VMJDBC jdbc driver in Unknown status.
3) POst installation of SAPMEINT, SAPMII should have the preconfigured schedulers, Message listeners and data sources with SQL database. Also under role Role_SAPMEINT, navigation should have the configuration as MII Dashboard menu. We are not able to find any of these.
Our installation did not throw any errors or warnings.
Request to send your views on this.
Thanks.
ShankarHi,
For ME system
First you have to install the NW CE and then CE Update Manager followed by JSPM.
Secondly install the WIP and ODS database(Creation of database, listener,tablespace,user, assigning the roles & previliges,)
Thirdly install the SAP ME application and then Update also.
Make the changes required in configtool>Instance>VM parameters JVM settings .Bounce the system for changes.
http://hostname:50000/nwa, Choose Configuration Management-> Infrastructure-> Application Resources
Create New Resource ->Deploy New JDBC Driver.(check whether you have uploaded the correct JDBC driverand check status)
Applying license
Running the WIP scripts with WIPUSER on WD5 database
Deploying the SAPME into the JAVA System i.e, VISPRISE 5.2 SCA file through JSPM
Before starting the deployment, you need to add a reference to the Classloader of the Security Provider
SAP ME 5.2 Clients installation
SAP ME 5.2 Client update
now stop and start the me~ear application under the path , operation mgnt>systems>stop&start-->filter on and search for
me and do it.
you have to execute the script "InitialLoad.ksh" and provide the admin password to work.
SAP ME ERP Integration (SAPMEINT) you have to deploy on MII through JSPM.
Deploy of the SAMEINTCTC need to be configured on the system MII and for configurations you can ask ME
Consultant for any decisions

Any Idea?Hello Seng,
Please try the following:
-Log into netweaver as administrator. http://server:50000/nwa.
-Go to operation managment>systems>start&stop-->Java EE Applications.
1-search for tcwddispwda .If the status is "stopped" .Select it and start it.Refresh until the status is "running"
2-search for xappsmeintegration~ui and do the same.
3-search for the rest of xapps~ and make sure they run.
once that the apps are running retry.
If this doesn't help,retry the error,go to the log viewer and look for the last errors content,they may give you a hint about what is failing.
Hope this helps,

Hi
I have a weird problem here (I tried only MATMAS). MII gets the IDoc only after 2 sending. Each time I trigger IDoc in ERP, MII does not get it. MII get it only second time. No error in Log.
I deleted the Idoc in MII (Message Monitor ) and SAPMEINT (Queue Monitor - High Perfomance Integration) and tried it again. And it is always the same problem.....first MATMAS no entry , MII get the MATMAS only after 2nd trigger.
any idea?
I am using SAPMEINT High Perfomance.
p/s: I have another machine with SAPMEINT Standard Integration and using other logical system in ERP. MII in this machine receive all the IDOCs.
Any clue
thanksI found the issue. Another MII server having the same IDOC connection (XMIIIDOC01)

SAPMEINT 5.2.5.6: Error when updating workflow configuration
Hello!
I have the following versions of the MII component:
SAPMEINT: 5.2.5.6 (from SAP ME package 5.2.5.6)
MII: 12.1.8 Patch 3 (or 30)
I try to update the workflow configuration for yieldConfirmationRequest
After clicking on Modify than immediatly on Save on the details section, some errors are displayed.
Operation Check Value in List failed; Search Helper
Value not found
I could trace this back to the Transaction Helper icon.
If it worked, it would isplay all the available MII transactions.
But it refuses to display anything.
I can see in the SAP NW log file there is a problem in some authentication:
Unable to load user information
[EXCEPTION]
java.lang.Exception: No credentials provided
Invalid Response code (401). Server <http://localhost:50000/XMII/SOAPRunner/Visiprise/ERPShopFloorIntegration/frame/common/MIITransactionList> returned message <Unauthorized>.
Visi Log 2010.12.01 16:03:44:Message trace: Fetch all sites failed: Invalid Response code (401). Server <http://localhost:50000/XMII/SOAPRunner/Visiprise/ERPShopFloorIntegration/frame/common/MIITransactionList> returned message <Unauthorized>.:
How to overcome this?
Is there some configuration necessary so that the username is provided with the call to
http://localhost:50000/XMII/SOAPRunner/... ?
Or is this a bug?
I think a XAcute service call is made (= SoapRunner).
What about authentication?
I found some hint, that this should NOT be necessary when it comes from localhost, as this happens here.
Kr,
Erich LindHello!
I found the necessary configuration in an older version of the "SAP ME 5.2 installation guide"
Section
Configuring SAPMEINT MII web services in SAP Netweaver Java AS
Goto Netweaver Administrator
Goto Configuration Management / Infrastructure / Java System Properties
Goto Applications tab
Search for xappsmeintegration~ear application
Change the following properties:
webservice.authentication.MechanismType = 1
webservice.Username = <SAP Netweaver User who has the role Role_SAPMEINT assigned>
webservice Password = <User Password>

Regards,

it is recommended that the files of MEINT and CTC are taken from the latest patch of ME 5.2.5.
After deployment of MEINT and CTC, SAPMEINT cannot be in running state because of missing the configuration which will be created after executing CTC. Please follow the steps of the latest Instrallation Guide @ SMP - it has been updated recently re this topic.

SAPMEINT Global configuration / Workflow COnfiguration
Hi,
Under SAPMEINT Global congiguration and Workflow configuration I am not sure of below parameters. maybe someone can enlighten me?
1.SAPMEINT_ProcessedDocDirectory - a valid existing directory where the processed inbound documents are place -example C:/VERPSFI_OUTPUT/processed
Question: Which server does it means? Is this folder should exist in MII odr ME box?
2. Under configuring SAPMEINT workflow, there are parameters like BOMMAT and other request for "Request /Response XM Save Directory"
Question: Which server does it means? MII oder ME box?
3. Under Configuring Supported SAP ME Plants
Question: Plant? Is this plant MII site? or ERP plant?
I am using installation guide from SAP ME 5.2 (page 42-44)
thanks
sengkiangHello, Seng Kiang,
1. There is no strong requirement where this directory should exist. You just need to specify the path to it correctly (even using network names).
2. BOMMAT - is a message type for BOM. I believe you can find more useful information for you here: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_mii121/helpdata/en/43/e80b59ad40719ae10000000a1553f6/frameset.htm
3. Plant is a Site which is created in Site Maintenance (ME). ERP also should be configured to send data to the corresponding Palnt (Site).

SAPMEINT - Workcenter (LOIWCS) transfer problem
Hi,
I'm working on SAPMEINT (SAP ERP 6.03, SAP ME 6.0 and SAP MII 12.2) and trying to transfer master data to ME through MEINT.
I could transfer MATMAS and BOMMAT data to ME but facing issue while transfering workcenter IDoc (LOIWCS) to ME.
I'm referring help on http://help.sap.com/saphelp_me60/helpdata/EN/a5/5a58b4000d4ed69137c0573fd611d4/content.htm
and created workcenter with category 9000 in ERP.
It seems that IDOc is received and processed in MII as I can see "Success" status for LOIWCS message in Message Monitor of SAP MII but see warning - "UserEvent : BaseDocumentDiscriminator.LogWarning: The category type '' is not supported for the IDoc ' '." in MII LogViewer.
1) Is there anything specific to be checked apart from the help ?
2) Is workcenter data transfer required prior to routing data transfer ?
Thanks
SumitOf course, that's possible (OP40). But what if you have to connect ME to an existing ERP, where work centers and its categories are already created? You can create the categories 9100 and 9000, but you can't change the category of an existing work center (CR02). You have to select a category at the beginning of the creation process (CR01) once and for all.
What about configuring in SAPMEINT, which ERP categories are ME resources and which ERP categories are ME work centers. Wouldn't it be possible? -
SAPMEINT: Roles or profiles for ALE_USER?
When configuring the Message Listener in NetWeaver for SAPMEINT you have to set a "ALE_USER u2014 a valid SAP ERP user to perform ALE communication".
--> See Installation Guide for SAP Manufacturing Execution 5.2 (2.0 ‒ 06/30/2010 ‒ Page 35)
But which roles or profiles do I have to assign to the ALE_USER in ERP-Transaction SU01?Problem solved. The list of authorization objects is in the online documentation:

CALL SAP ME's WebService from MII
Hello, How can I call SAP ME's web service from SAP MII?
Hi Dmitry,
While you can't change the interfaces built into ME (in MII), you should be able to either copy or simply view them, depending upon your security settings. There should be plenty of examples in the SAPMEINT or if an older version VERPSFI content.
Good luck and if you can't figure it out here, you may want to post on the ME forum.

Leading zeros in SAP ME materials that come from SAP ERP
Hello!
When materials are transfered from the SAP ERP side via MII to SAP ME it can be observed that material numbers have leading zeros. For example a material number is created in SAP ME like 0000000123456 instead of 123456.
I think this behaviour can be changed in the XLST transformations, which are part of SAPMEINT.
Is this the usual way to fulfill the requirement "No leading zeros for SAP ME material numbers"?
It can be observed that for example the shop orders don't have the leading zeros, when they are created in SAP ME.
Of cause, when confirmations are sent back to SAP ERP the corresponding XSLT transformation adds again these '0',
it is somehow necessary for SAP ERP for the shop order lookup.
I see one disadvantage when using modified XLST transformations.
Each time a new version of SAPMEINT is deployed a check shoukld be made from our side, if there are changes in the original XSLT transformations.
So what is the statement of direction from the SAPMEINT developers?
Kr,
Erich LindWe see the same problem for the leading zeros. There is no consistency in this case.
Also the SAPMEINT Enhanced planned order report is triggering only for material with leading zeros. In this case you can't modify anything to prevent this. No XSLT modification possible there.
Can we get any statement from SAP?!? -
LOIROU - SOAP Message containing custom data
Hello,
on SAPMEINT integration we send data for LOIROU (Routing / Operations).
When we track the SOAP message sent from MII to ME, it contains at the end 4 custom data values which do not need to be configured for the SAPMEINT.
<sch:CustomFieldList>
<sch:CustomField>
<sch:Attribute>ERP_MATERIAL</sch:Attribute>
<sch:Value>000000002001000300</sch:Value>
</sch:CustomField>
<sch:CustomField>
<sch:Attribute>ERP_VALIDITY_FROM</sch:Attribute>
<sch:Value>20110623</sch:Value>
</sch:CustomField>
<sch:CustomField>
<sch:Attribute>ERP_VALIDITY_TO</sch:Attribute>
<sch:Value>99991231</sch:Value>
</sch:CustomField>
<sch:CustomField>
<sch:Attribute>ERP_LOT_SIZE_FROM</sch:Attribute>
<sch:Value>0.000</sch:Value>
</sch:CustomField>
<sch:CustomField>
<sch:Attribute>ERP_LOT_SIZE_TO</sch:Attribute>
<sch:Value>99999999.000</sch:Value>
</sch:CustomField>
Are these relevant for any further processes?
Regards,
KaiHello Kai,
They should not affect any further ME processes and you do not need to create them in Custom Data Maintenance - confirmations, scraps will work fine. I also don't think they are required at ECC side.

Alex. -
Where to find the XSLT used for the standard interface in SAP ME 5.2 SP05?
Hallo!
Starting with SAP ME 5.2 SP05 there is a new logic for the standard interface used in SAPMEINT.
I wonder where to find the XSLT's that are used for transforming the XML messages?
I can see from the SAP NW log:
[Transaction: -1] starting execution of Visiprise/ERPShopFloorIntegration/frame/workflow/XSLTDelegate.trx
Loading file Visiprise/WEB/XSLT/Outbound/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDown/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDownRequest.xslt
select: path Visiprise/WEB/XSLT/Outbound/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDown
select: name EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDownRequest.xslt
The definition for this XSLT is as follows:
WEB://Visiprise/XSLT/Outbound/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDown/EquipmentStatusChangeUnSchDownRequest.xslt
How is this resolved???
From the (pre SP05) SAPMEINT I know two variants:
1. High performance interface
The XSLT files come from the MII shared memory entries for project SAPMEINT
2. Standard interface
The XSLT files come from SAP ME (table XSLT and XLST_ASSIGBNMENT) via calling a HTTP URL like
http://<hostname>:<port>/manufacturing/vm/xslt?id=RouterFeed
Kr,
Erich LindHello!
I found the answer myself now.
