Scenario: User enters some info, I only want to be able to see it for 3 day
User will be able to go to a site and enter some info, lets say its like a singles add. After the user submits, I only want the ad to show for 32 hours.
How would i go about flagging the record. I couldnt possibly run a program constantly checking the database for old records. Does anyone have any ideas on this.

Yes I am saving creation date. The only thing that I am confused on is flagging the record when the date is considered old. DO i have to constantly run a program checking for old dates? What if i run this program every minute. What happens if the data is crucial and if its an old date , it shouldnt even show for the minute in which the purge program hasnt run yet.
My example used hours, but what about using minutes and seconds.
I guess could add lets say 32 hours, 5 minutes to the creation date in the file. If its greater than now, dont show. Then run a purge program every couple of hours to get rid of the old data to speed up processing.
I think I just figured this out, but I am willing for any more input.

If you have set up photo stream, this can't be done. As soon as you switch off photo stream on her device to keep your photos from coming to her device, you won't get any as well from her. Same for messages, you can't have both, sorry.
Maybe look into the family sharing feature if you want the photos to be shared:

I want to be able to see the history when my kids use the computer. Is there a way to lock private browsing so that my kids can not have this option?
There is no way to reliably disable private browsing or keep a user from deleting history. Use a program such as netnanny to keep track of history and sites visited.

It does not look like this is possible with iTunes 11 (or 11.0.1). -
How do I confirm that all my Numbers documents have been backed up on iCloud? I want to be able to see what has been backed up.
On your computer go to iCloud.com, sign in and select the documents app.
On your iPad go to Settings>iCloud>Storage & Backup>Manage Storage and your documents should be listed.
If you are referring to an iOS device backup it is not possible to view these. -

Thanks for replying Larry. Takes a while, but I can see them in Bridge. I have to say that I'm not happy with this though. If I'm working with 10 or 20 or 30 ai files on my desktop, I really want to be able to see them easy as pie. Everything seemed fine in Adobe CC 2014.... but not since this 18.1.1 Sure hope this is just a bug that will soon be fixed! (And if it is a bug, how do I report it and/or get it fixed)? Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions?

Install 'find my iphone' to locate. There are security/parental settings on the phone that you can change, but I am not sure about limiting times that text/calls can be made. Call your cell phone carrier - they may have more options for that...

Only one User is not able to see POV for reports
Hi gurus,
Entity POV is not seen to the user in the prompt button for a FR in DEV where as the same user is able see the POV in PROD.
What might the reason for this as POV to be seen in one environment and not seen in the orther?

I have always used images for my folder icons, and now I am told that Mt. Lion does not allow me to go to the GET INFO window and do a click on the image icon and then be able to paste that image on to other folders. I just talked with a Apple support guy and he said that Mt. Lion does not support this function. He did say that there are third party programs that allow using images to make icons for folders or other items. I can see some image icon in some of my hard drive folders....... some folders show image icons while others do not. I am a photographer and have scads of photo folders spread all over different hard drives, and I find it easier to find what I am looking for by just looking at the IMAGE PICTURE in the different folders on my hard drives, than by having to read the one or two words associated with each folder.
THe support guy said to request that APPLE put back the ability to use the coy paste function in the GET INFO window. If i can't get this working like it was I wouyld like to know how to get a refund and throw out Mt Lion.Restore your Lion bootable backup/clone or Time Machine backup and file your ML bug report. Just keep the installer ($20 USD isn't worth the hassle trying to get it refunded). Then, when the function's restored, reinstall and run Software Update.

As of 8.45 this evening, nearly four hours after posting the above, the original purchaser of the software in question received the following email (clearly I've removed sensitive info)

I clearly needed to write that shirty forum post above months ago. Adobe Support may well have actually done what they should have done months ago, but it still doesn't stop them being useless and needlessly protracting a fairly simple process and wasting both my time and the original purchasers time.
I also can't help but wonder if Tweeting the forum support page URL directly to Adobe and Adobe Support helped them extract a digit from their collective rectum, I guess we'll never know?

Go to View > View Options, and check the box for "Composer."
This will create a column that displays the Composer field for each track, and will allow searching and sorting on that field.
Depending how carefully your library is tagged, you may find that the field is empty in some cases. If you wish to update it, right-click the track, Get Info, go to the Info tab and type in the correct information, then OK out. -
My question is whether my IOS devices should appear on the Airplay device list in the Remote application... right now Apple TV, Airport Express, even my Samsung Note 3 appear as devices I can stream my iTunes library to... I can't seem to find a way to add the iPad or iPhone to that airplay list... I can use either the iPad or iPhone to direct playback to any of the listed devices... that works great... but, they don't seem to allow me to direct playback back to the device I am using as the remote. I'm trying to figure out if this is by intent or just not working right.
As a point of context, I am able to use my Samsung Note 3 to do exactly what I am trying to do with the iPad and iPhone... it works great.
And I understand that Apple intended me to use the Music app to play my shared library to my device... however, I have a BIG music library and when I ask the Music app to load up my shared library the little red circle gets about half full and hangs up... it never get there. The Remote app is great... I can see the whole library instantly and play any song I want to the listed Airplay devices... that part is sweet... but I can't (and maybe there is no way to) add my IOS devices to the airplay playback device list.
I've burned a lot of time trying to figure this out... any help, including somebody telling me that it just isn't supposed to work that way, would be appreciated.You have to swipe in a left to right motion. If the airplay icon isn't showing up it's likely something within your network that is blocking it. You can also try rebooting devices and router.

You can use "History > Restore Previous Session" to get the previous session at any time.<br />
You may need to click the orange/gray Firefox button to see History.<br />
There is also a "Restore Previous Session" button on the default <b>about:home</b> Home page.<br />
Using the "Show my windows and tabs from last time" setting is a more reliable way to restore session data.
